Poach their talent, raze their homes, burn their crops... until they go into debt. Then take them over. Not that it makes much sense to me though, as you can do very little besides give them broad instructions on how many shows to have, which weight classes to open/close, who to feed and who to protect, plus call up and loan out fighters. Might seem enough, but I would prefer direct control.

Anybody else who's seen crappy regens with the "constant takedowns" attribute that somehow dominate. It's like their takedowns can't be stopped even though their stats are decent at best. <img alt=":rolleyes:" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

It gets them quite a lot of popularity. Really amazing for, say, adding a new division into your company.</p>

To get that effect you'll need like 5 succesfull PPV's which is not that easy. Here you just get it, provided the coaches are entertaining. You don't necessarily need the UFC formula with "rival" coaches. Just take two marketable guys with low popularity and it might skyrocket. </p><p> </p><p> When is it not interesting to have reality TV shows? Only when you're already HLI and can't rise anymore. Then you're better off having prelims instead of some throwaway show where the "final" isn't even the co-main event or you'll simply lose pop.</p>

Is there a way to have more strikes in a fight? I’ve noticed a five round fight will end with 10 strikes for each fighter and no takedowns but still be regarded as a great fight. Is there a way to make more strikes but still keep the KOs down?

I'm not experienced enough to answer this fully, but one idea you could try is to edit to fight engine (technically I think you have to copy the default one to create your own), this could get a little detailed but especially if you're happy to play around with it I'm sure you could get the results you want. For example you could decrease the effectiveness of head movement, or perhaps increase the effect of punching technique. I'd assume this would result it more strikes and if you wanted to counteract this to make sure it didn't lead to too many KO's you could increase chin strength or something like that.

Does chin strength go down from absorbing strikes but not getting KO’d?

That looks correct according to the help file it gets worn down during the fight 'i.e if a fighter takes multiple shots to the head' it says this makes him more likely to get stunned or knocked out so implies that it goes down from just usual strikes.

I'm creating a mod using TV characters and want to have female characters but I'm not sure how many I'm going to be able to get.

So three questions really;

1: If I was to create women divisions but with a low amount could I just create 1 womens weight class? Would this have any negative effects? I assume I would need to make them all a similar weight? If I still wanted to have some weight difference between the women but wanted to keep them in one division how big could the range be for 1 single division?

2: If having just 1 womens division isn't possible, could i just make the women characters actually men? With it being TV characters I don't mind inter-gender fights (I'd actually prefer that than them being separate) but again is there any negative effects of doing this? The only one I can think of is unless I just make everybody gay then there would be no new relationships between anybody.

3: How small do you think a weight division can realistically be? I'm hoping to create just 2 or 3 promotions but then some unemployed fighters to fill out the database. How many fighters would you say I need in each weight class?

Thanks for any help I've only really just started with WMMA and so I'm throwing myself into the deep end a bit by starting with this mod.

Thanks for the help! I wonder if I just drop the effectiveness of punching power while making movement also less effective.

Shaun Dico's Above Average takedown's seem to maul even Great Takedown defence. He is rampaging through my GAMMA middleweight division, whipping the likes of Billy Russell, Buddy Garner and Tom Essy.</p>

Is there something specific that gets fighters to join Fight Teams? I've edited some regens in a game of mine to just put in a bunch of friends and family. Out of 25 of them, after 10 years, only one has joined a Fight Team and they left it two weeks later. I don't really mess with the skills other than the name, I add in some attributes.. I do make their general stats, other than reach, all maxed out but not their actual fight skills.
