WMMA5 Small Questions Thread

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

Thanks in advance to whoever answers my question. I have been playing and am about a year and a half into a default game (except I brought back FLB with an internet billionaire who paid 2.5 mil to restart the promotion). I have started to acquire quite the roster and have a majority of the best in the World at this point. I am finally starting to see different Main Event "draw" language and I don't know the ranking of it all.

For example:

I was getting "potential main event" "decent main event" or "strong main event".

Now I am getting things like "great main even"t, "superb main event", etc.

My question is, can anyone let me know the order of which are the best?

My current opinion is:

-Superb Main Event

-Great Main Event

-Strong Main Event

-Decent Main Event

-Potential Main Event

(But i also don't know if there are more in between. If I'm correct or wrong, and someone could let me know I would really appreciate it).

Thanks!

It seems like in-fight injuries only EVER happen to the nose, jaw, and wrist/arms. Is this by design?

Yes. There are only a handful of injuries that are directly from specific lines of commentary, and those are primarily facial injuries, hand / arm breaks, and knee injuries. All other injuries are handled via the Injury file and are not linked to commentary.

-Superb Main Event

-Great Main Event

-Strong Main Event

-Decent Main Event

-Potential Main Event

Yes, that is the correct order.

So how exactly does one magically shake off a vicious pounding into the mat to choke out the opponent who's got him dead to rights? 'Cause that's the BS that just happened to me in my current game. This is meant to be MMA not pro wrestling!<img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Sounds like Askren vs Lawler!

<p>Was wondering if there’s a way I can make my fighters take a match when this happens. Sometimes after a couple of matches or when they sign a contract they just disappear. There’s no hiatus notification and on profile it says they’re totally healthy but they’re not available to take matches for years at a time? Is this normal? </p><p>

Thanks</p>

I book my events a month in advance but apparently these guys need about 2 months bc they have started appearing ig I book 2 months in advance. Thanks anyway.</p>

<p>Hi everyone,</p><p> </p><p>

Is there a way to add specific fighters to custom made gyms in an active game that's already been started?</p><p> </p><p>

If not, if I add a new gym to an already existing game is there anything that I can do to get fighters to join a specific gym as the game progresses via simulation?</p>

Preventing the closing of weight classes

Is there a way to prevent companies from shutting down weight classes? I feel like no matter how few companies or how many more fighters that I have companies continue to shut down weight classes. I love simming 5-10 years in the future but rarely have more than one company that has not shut down multiple weight classes. I feel like this didn't happen in WMMA 3 but I could be wrong. Thanks.

<p>I find generally they’re 15-18 months.</p><p> </p><p>

If you want to find out when they’re coming back, go to the schedule event page and check fighter availability for dates in the future: fighters currently on hiatus will be listed as available at some point, giving you an indication that they will be back 1-2 months beforehand</p>
