I can't remember, but what exactly is the "potential" stat? I know Adam broke down it's explanation a long time ago, but can't remember what it determines.

It's a cap for stats. That way you can theoretically prevent some workers from ever getting to A+ level, even if their "destiny' - which is the hidden stat that determines skill thresholds and overall success - is very high.

Should Womens and Mens stats be scaled equally? Or should a Woman's strength for example, be relative?

Equally, since they are separate entities. If, for some reason, you choose to change the gender of a fighter, I'd just keep the stat the same. It's one of the stats that doesn't really matter anyways.

If you are making, say, a Street Fighter or Tekken mod, you do have to scale them relatively and set everyone as male just so you can create all matchups.

I wish there was a way to make women retire a bit older though, as it is common nowadays.

Well... there is. If you don't mind pronouns (some people do nowadays :p) you can just change all women to men in the editor. As long as you don't have the same weight classes in AI companies it won't matter much. Or you can lower the weights so they are seperate from men (105/115). Such a "gender equality" mod can easily be made. The only thing missing would be relationships (I have NEVER seen anyone get married, and I've played a VERY long time) and the "female fighter of the year" award. You're not missing much.

I'm confused about demographics.

The Canadian requirement is "home grown".

I have a fighter of White Canadian ethnicity, from Toronto. His name value in Canada is equal to my company's name value there, and he is not on a losing streak.

However, he does not show up in the Canadian demographics (though he does appear in the American demographics).

Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

Canada seems to be an odd case indeed. I looked at my current game and the "home grown" fighters from Russia, Europe, and Asia show up fine. Canada's fighters do not. Probably a bug then as I have several who would qualify, just like yours.

Maybe one final patch when that project is finished but then he will be working on patches for that game, so I wouldn't expect it.

Hyped for TEW 2020, but also hoping for a patch that can improve the already great WMMA5 experience.
