iwantmods
Is there any way to speed the game up, like at all? I'm playing on a real world database and the game is just mind numbingly slow between shows. On TEW you can remove regions you don't want simulated but it doesn't appear like any option exists on here unless I'm missing it (new to WMMA). Adam Ryland
The speed correlates to the size of the database. The more companies you have, the more shows there are, the more processing it needs. You can speed things up by jettisoning companies. Just like in real life, its easier to watch something if you don't have to pay for it and can just turn to a channel. However, as opposed to PPV, you will earn money much slower. If you are starting with a small company you have to decide what is going to be your priority: Fast popularity gain vs. fast money gain.

Cage / Ring comfort deals with how comfortable a fighter is fighting in either a cage or ring. Resilience deals with how injury prone a fighter is. The only real important fight on the card is the main event, really, and it's fairly rare to see a main event tank so hard. Typically momentum, and the title being on the line, is enough to make any main event a decent main event, and the only real situations where it becomes fishy is when you have two foreign guys who have just debuted in the main event.
Hazemore
how on earth do you know all these things! is there like a thread that explains all of the stats? also is there a way to make wmma5 smaller? finally having good menace/looks/marketability means in interviews the person does well, but what does this mean? do they gain extra pop? and does high marketability mean they are a better champ in any way? theflame8
Compared to TEW, does broadcasters work differently? It seems like you can continue to gain popularity at med and high international with a tiny tv provider. Is that right, because it's confusing to me?

2nd question: If you don't run shows or have tv in an area for a few months, do you lose popularity? I haven't seen it happen.
