- 'The Tower Of Power' Tim Boyer vs. 'Polish Power' Grzegorz Boniek

- From 'GAMMA 56: Regueiro vs Brubaker II' (from the save game 'GAMMA')

- Created 06 May 2018

(Rd 1 - 05:00) Next up, 'The Tower Of Power' Tim Boyer vs. 'Polish Power' Grzegorz Boniek.

(Rd 1 - 05:00) Refereeing this bout will be Leo Behan.

(Rd 1 - 05:00) The judges are: Ian Rivers, Edward Wilde, and Reginald Wodehouse.

(Rd 1 - 05:00) There's a big size difference in this fight, Boyer is probably at least 30lbs heavier. That's a major disadvantage for Boniek to try and overcome.

(Rd 1 - 05:00) The fight begins!

(Rd 1 - 04:51) Boyer moves in closer, ready to attack.

(Rd 1 - 04:51) Boniek, backing off, hits a weak left hand.

(Rd 1 - 04:51) Boyer fails to find a home for his jab, but then hits Boniek with a great high right head kick.

(Rd 1 - 04:38) Boniek backs off until pressed against the cage and covers up, clearly rocked! Boyer immediately advances, sensing that this is a chance to end the fight!

(Rd 1 - 04:38) Boniek eats a right hook and is barely able to stand anymore! The cage is the only reason he is still upright!

(Rd 1 - 04:32) Briefly clinching, Boyer drives his knee into his opponent's rib cage.

(Rd 1 - 04:24) Boniek manages to clear his head and circle away from the cage, back to the center.

(Rd 1 - 04:18) Boyer can't connect with a jab, but then hits a nice straight right that lands hard.

(Rd 1 - 04:18) There is blood dripping from the nose of Boniek, it may have been broken by that shot.

(Rd 1 - 04:18) That's going to make breathing a lot tougher and tire him out quicker.

(Rd 1 - 04:11) Boniek covers up, retreating until pressed against the cage...wait, I think he is on rubbery legs! He is hurt!

(Rd 1 - 04:11) Boyer moves in close and creams Boniek with a vicious right uppercut...and down he goes!

(Rd 1 - 04:06) Boyer moves in quickly, kneeling beside Boniek and starting to hammer down with punches!

(Rd 1 - 04:06) Boyer fires away with punches and Boniek takes several shots that threaten to end the fight!

(Rd 1 - 03:53) Boyer pounds away with elbow strikes but fails to land any significant blows.

(Rd 1 - 03:42) Boniek tries to pull guard on Boyer but doesn't get anywhere with the attempt.

(Rd 1 - 03:23) Boyer tries to pound on Boniek with elbows, but none of the blows land with any degree of power.

(Rd 1 - 03:07) Boniek tries to pull guard on Boyer but doesn't get anywhere with the attempt.

(Rd 1 - 02:56) Boyer throws some elbows but Boniek isn't troubled by them.

(Rd 1 - 02:36) Boniek takes the opportunity and manages to pull half guard.

(Rd 1 - 02:23) We pass the halfway mark of this round.

(Rd 1 - 02:23) Boyer attempts to pass half guard.

(Rd 1 - 02:23) Boyer passes to side control, but doesn't have time to secure the position before Boniek starts scrambling.

(Rd 1 - 02:11) Boyer somehow winds up underneath the north-south control of Boniek.

(Rd 1 - 01:55) Boniek attempts to set up a north-south choke.

(Rd 1 - 01:55) Boyer can't prevent the choke from being applied, he has to tap!

(Rd 1 - 01:39) The winner, by submission, is 'Polish Power' Grzegorz Boniek!

(Rd 1 - 01:39) Official Result: 'Polish Power' Grzegorz Boniek defeats 'The Tower Of Power' Tim Boyer (Submission (North South Choke) in 3:21 of round 1). The fight was rated as being Great.
