Harry Chadwick is not against the idea, but will not be changing the card as it would be unfair to the likes of JOJI and Bradley Blaze if their opponents changed up after putting in prep time. Medico seems annoyed, but does not press the issue further. Instead he just walks off while Chadwick finishes his usual welcome schtick to the crowd.

Rating: 33

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="vB7kpNj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vB7kpNj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="sLYkO0D.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sLYkO0D.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Kid Fantastic vs Cobra

High energy and quick moving Kid Fantastic certainly can get the audience's attention with the crazy moves he can perform. Having a relatively solid opponent to cover up for Kid's weaknesses help make him look much better than he really is. Not to say Kid is really bad, but he really needs to learn some things between the ropes to go with his athleticism and crazy moves. Cobra just can't keep up with Kid in the long run and he starts to wear down and become vulnerable which allows Kid to land the Fantasm for the victory.

Winner: Kid Fantastic

Rating: 40

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="qUzLUiD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qUzLUiD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vSyzKno.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vSyzKno.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Mad Dog Mortimer vs Mercutio Sleep

Sleep is starting to look better and more confident. Then again the match is very short and Mad Dog does what he does best which is look up at the lights. Even so Sleep at least gets to showcase what he can do and build up his confidence. He puts the Mad Dog down and picks up a victory.

Winner: Mercutio Sleep

Rating: 29

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="HRZVOIt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HRZVOIt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tOgTJoE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tOgTJoE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

El Medico vs Bradley Blaze

A good, even bout at the start with some good chain wrestling mixed in with Blaze gaining an advantage using his size. Blaze tosses Medico about and comes close a few times to a win, but Medico starts to finally make a comeback. It is around this time Austin Smooth comes out to 'observe' things. Medico tries not to get distracted, but at one point Smooth grabs Medico's foot and the referee doesn't see in. It gives Blaze to hit the Dallas Drop and pick up a victory.

Winner: Bradley Blaze

Rating: 41

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="i2KxQXc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/i2KxQXc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9uINBDT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9uINBDT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Lion Heart comes out with Billie Krystal. The pair lament the past few months and were not happy about the tag loss from last month. Lion Heart vows tonight that he will get back on track by defeating Mark Smart and will get his rematch sooner than later.

Rating: 35

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="i2KxQXc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/i2KxQXc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9uINBDT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9uINBDT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="M3Xludi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/M3Xludi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Lion Heart with Billie Krystal vs Mark Smart

A good match and one of Lion Heart's better outings. Mark Smart is putting in a lot of work too to help make the ex-champ look good while also getting in a fair amount of offense and getting a close pinfall at one point. Lion Heart starts to come back and throws some stiff strikes that light up Smart and daze him. Smart tries to turn things around, but never fully recovers. Instead it is a Lion's Pounce that eventually downs Smart and the ex-champ wins.

Winner: Lion Heart

Rating: 46

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="DLcYpsN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DLcYpsN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="W22nA1O.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/W22nA1O.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Austin Smooth vs JOJI

Whatever new gear JOJI found last month is still there. He brings another fine performance and this time against Austin Smooth who is no slouch either. They just seem on another level tonight and the cans get a real good match with both men coming close to victory. Austin may have been his own worst enemy this night because him costing Medico his match earlier causes the masked wrestler to try and get involved in the match. While the referee is trying to get Medico out Smooth tries to low blow JOJI, but JOJI blocks it and rolls up Smooth right as Garcia is turning about. Smooth struggles, but breaks free just a split second after the three count.

Winner: JOJI

Rating: 53

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="EGtkACN.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EGtkACN.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

AAW All Action Canadian Championship

<img alt="7qJYhCO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7qJYhCO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="hbBKPm1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hbBKPm1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Ricochet Ramone © vs Fearless Blue

Ramone went into this perhaps overconfident and Blue makes him pay starting off by completely rolling on the champ for the opening moments and making Ramone have to flee to outside of the ring. Blue gives chase and Ramone uses it to his advantage to get back into the ring first then blindside Blue when he dives back in. The champ controls the match for the majority of it, but Blue fights back a few times and comes close twice on pin attempts. Ramone ends up being too much and regains control long enough to take down Fearless Blue and score a pin after a Ricochet Senton.

Winner and STILL Champion: Ricochet Ramone (Defenses: 4)

Rating: 41

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="7qJYhCO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7qJYhCO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BCTXdTB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BCTXdTB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Ramone is celebrating when Harry Chadwick comes out not only to congratulate the champion, but to let him know next month Lion Heart will get his rematch as well as announce that El Medico and Austin Smooth will face off once more.

Rating: 33

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Final Rating: 42

El Medico: I knew JOJI and Smooth was going to overshadow the main event. In fact such an action packed match probably hindered the final match. Blue did fine and Ramone can always put in a good performance, but Smooth and JOJI were just on another level tonight. JOJI in particular has put in two of the best performances both last month and this month.

Rest of the card went fine. Sleep is looking better now and after a rocky start he seems to be more settled in. Blaze is really good and it was a treat to take him on and see what he could do first hand. Mark Smart and Lion Heart did very well too.

In the end it wasn't as good as last month, but still a fine show and enough to keep people interested in coming back. In fact we were over one hundred people so we are doing something right.

AAW All Action Championship Match

Ricochet Ramone © vs Lion Heart

LH hasn't done enough for me to get the belt back, personally I think Ramone proves he deserves the belt here

Grudge Match

Austin Smooth vs El Medico

Smooth lost to JOJI who seems to have climbed the ranks above Smooth into the Ramone, Smart, LH territory of former/current/possible next champs, Medico put Blaze over last show (I know there was interference in both but still) so really I have no idea which way this will go. I picked Smooth cause I think he is the future of the company, he's by in large put on the best matches and been by far the most reliable gut to put on good match, sure Smart, JOJI and Ramone have also been good but Smooth, in terms of ratings has been better.

Also Featuring

Mark Smart and Fearless Blue vs Kid Fantastic and JOJI

Blue is the weak link. KF beat Cobra (Not quite sure why, Cobra is very talented and has been jobbed out in this diary) and Smart lost to LH, JOJI and KF won and putting Blue (even as the partner) over here, after he had a title match, seems like a silly idea

Mercutio Sleep vs Bradley Blaze

Sleep is so average. Yes, he's better than MDM but Blaze has been a lot better than him in terms of talent and ratings. Blaze put a great match on with Medico last time out, let's see what he can do with a more raw talent

AAW All Action Championship Match

Ricochet Ramone © vs Lion Heart

After recent months, performance wise Lion Heart is firmly behind Smart, JOJI, and a few others. Unfortunately I don't see much of a future for him at the top

Grudge Match

Austin Smooth vs El Medico

I think it's time to wrap up all the loose ends from the Smooth/Ramone story to make room for Joji, who has earned his involvement

Also Featuring

Mark Smart and Fearless Blue vs Kid Fantastic and JOJI

This is depressing because I can't pick against JOJI, but Mark Smart has been ACE man. Great character and surprisingly great in-ring performances. Get him up the card ASAP

Mercutio Sleep vs Bradley Blaze

Blaze ain't losing to Sleep after beating Medico

AAW All Action Championship Match: Ricochet Ramone © vs Lion Heart

I don't see Ramone dropping the belt back to Lion Heart. If he was cranking out match performances similar to JOJI, Smooth and a few others, I'd think otherwise.

Grudge Match: Austin Smooth vs El Medico

Also Featuring

Mark Smart and Fearless Blue vs Kid Fantastic and JOJI

AAW All Action Championship Match

Ricochet Ramone © vs Lion Heart

Doubt you've been building LH up all this time for a loss here, plus he's still popular. Given how he's been doing though, I don't see him keeping the strap long after this.

Grudge Match

Austin Smooth vs El Medico

If LH wins the title, Smooth wins here to challenge him next

Also Featuring

Mark Smart and Fearless Blue vs Kid Fantastic and JOJI

KF is here to get pinned.

Mercutio Sleep vs Bradley Blaze

Ricochet Ramone © vs Lion Heart

I don't think there should be any regret to giving Lion Heart the inaugural run, but he didn't separate himself during that. No reason to give him a second try yet.

Austin Smooth vs El Medico

Eh, let's go with the old "no one wins for a triple threat" plan here. I think Ramone is close to dropping it, and a triple threat is a good way to do it.

Mark Smart and Fearless Blue vs Kid Fantastic and JOJI

JOJI has earned his stripes and should be built up to give another huge match to Ramone or Smooth down the road. Also, Fantastic getting a 40 out of Cobra is a great sign to his development.

Mercutio Sleep vs Bradley Blaze

Blaze is one of the guys that has probably passed Lion Heart in-ring, so getting him towards the main event is a good move. He can churn out 55+ matches with Ramone, Smooth, or Medico.

Ricochet Ramone © vs Lion Heart

Lion Heart's already held the title, and whilst doing a switchback isn't always a bad idea I don't think it's going to happen here

Austin Smooth vs El Medico

Smooth's an obvious choice for the next champ so the win here would help propel him in that direction

Mark Smart and Fearless Blue vs Kid Fantastic and JOJI

Could totally see this going the other way, but JOJI's one of your top guys and deserves the win

Mercutio Sleep vs Bradley Blaze

Bit of a toss-up but Brad seems to be the better guy

Both men put forth a good effort with each one getting a fair amount of offense. The ending kind of looks like it wasn't the planned one because after a roll up Garcia counted to three right as Blaze was kicking out. It left everyone in the ring a slight bit confused before Sleep quickly recovered and started dancing around the ring as if he just won the title.

Winner: Mercutio Sleep

Rating: 41

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="M3Xludi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/M3Xludi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="hbBKPm1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hbBKPm1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="W22nA1O.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/W22nA1O.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vB7kpNj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vB7kpNj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Mark Smart and Fearless Blue vs JOJI and Kid Fantastic

An entertaining and fast paced match where all four men are putting in the work, but it is easy to see Smart and JOJI are on another level compared to their partners. Fantastic continues to impress though just for the fact he seems to find crazy new high flying spots to perform. It breaks down into a crazy mess of all four men looking to one up each other with some big moves. Fantastic wipes out with Smart to the outside and Blue misses his Springboard Lariat on JOJI. JOJI capitalizes and takes out Blue and finishes him off with the JOJI Miracle Explosion.

Winners: JOJI and Kid Fantastic

Rating: 51

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="DLcYpsN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DLcYpsN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="HRZVOIt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HRZVOIt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Austin Smooth vs El Medico

These two go at it like they really do hate one another. They right out just start slinging big strikes right away instead of relying on their usual form of offense. Smooth gains advantage when he tries to tear Medico's mask off and almost does so. A good chunk of the mask is ripped to show some blond hair, but never fully comes off. Medico mounts a comeback and comes close a few times to the win. He goes up top, but Smooth was playing possum and pushes Medico off to the outside and gains the advantage once more. Medico never recovers and once the Smooth Hold is locked in Medico struggles and eventually passes out.

Winner: Austin Smooth

Rating: 46

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="i2KxQXc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/i2KxQXc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9uINBDT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9uINBDT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

The former champ and Billie are out next. Lion Heart looks like his usual focused self and it seems Billie has him ready for a fight. Lion Heart asks for a microphone and he points towards the wrestler's entrance.

Lion Heart: "I want my title back and I want it now. Get out here right now, Ramone. Both men are looking strong with good amounts of offense in a big back and forth match. Several close pinfalls come in a row, but the last one seems to be a miscue much like the earlier match and there is an awkward pause when Lion Heart wins during the pinfall chain. Ramone starts to yell at Garcia while Billie gives Lion Heart the title and the two celebrate.

Winner and NEW Champion: Lion Heart (Second Reign)

Rating: 42

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Final Rating: 41

El Medico: I don't know what the hell just happened tonight. Two matches did not end how they should and well it has created a bit of a mess. Blaze was supposed to go over sleep and that isn't such a big deal. Both are still finding their feet and can recover, but well Ramone was NOT supposed to lose and now Lion Heart has the title again.

This changes up plans quite a bit and I will have to have a meeting with Harry to figure out what we want to do. I guess I had been taking things for granted on how smooth everything has been running since we got rid of Aero. It is something once again we can recover from and well....congrats to Lion Heart for being two time champion now I suppose.

Smart and JOJI continue to put on great matches and they brought out the best of their partners too. Blue had one of his best matches to date and Kid did have his best performance to date. Smooth was a blast to face off against, but admittedly the mask wasn't supposed to get tore open so we had to kind of approach the rest of the match differently to make sure it didn't come off.

Almost been a year and it is crazy to think that. Hopefully next month things won't be so crazy and no more mix ups like last time.

OOC: This is what happens when you book late at night! Blaze does well to keep up with Smart and the result is a pretty exciting and even match. Smart looks close to winning several times only for Blaze to kick out at the last moment. He goes for a Smart Attack, but eats a boot to the face instead. Blaze quickly picks him up and delivers the Dallas Drop and scores his biggest win in AAW to date.

Winner: Bradley Blaze

Rating: 44

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="7qJYhCO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7qJYhCO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

A deservedly annoyed Ricochet Ramone comes out with a microphone in his hand.

Ramone: "So let me get this straight? It is one of those matches where there is a lot going on when the four men start going at it that you could easily miss something. All four men put out stellar performances to where despite still being very green Kid Fantastic even held up on his end of things. Everyone gets a moment where they get to show their stuff and take out the other three competitors and a particular highlight was a crazy sequence of JOJI and Kid Fantastic trading some big time moves. It is JOJI that ends up getting the upper hand in that sequence and he hits the JOJI Miracle Explosion on Kid Fantastic while Smooth and Ramone were fighting it out outside the ring.

Winner: JOJI

Rating: 51

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="EGtkACN.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EGtkACN.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

AAW All Action Canadian Championship

<img alt="i2KxQXc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/i2KxQXc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9uINBDT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9uINBDT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vSyzKno.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vSyzKno.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Lion Heart © with Billie Krystal vs Mercutio Sleep

It isn't easy to follow up the previous match, but the two do a decent enough job. Sleep does well to show he is a versatile wrestler that can do a bit of everything and not just rely on his high flying moves. Lion Heart uses his standard ground and pound and uses his larger frame to its full advantage. Sleep has his spurts of offense, but he never gets close to getting a three count which leads to him getting frustrated. That frustration leads to a mistake that gets him nailed by a Lion's Pounce.

Winner and STILL Champion: Lion Heart (Defenses: 1)

Rating: 43

<img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Final Rating: 43

El Medico: I was left in a quandary on what to do about the title. I am not a fan of quick switches and having Ramone win it right back just didn't sit well with me. Instead I gave Mercutio a chance and he did just fine. Was it the best main event? No, not even close, but it did well enough.

Since this was probably the end of Mad Dog's run I wanted to at least let him get some more offense in than he normally would. I don't care if perhaps it hurts me by making me look weak, Mad Dog was a professional his entire year with us and never once complained.

The four way delivered as I expected it would. All four men put in work and any reservations I had about putting Kid Fantastic in there went away. He kept up with everyone else and while still not the best in the ring there was enough chaos going on to hide his weaknesses here. Honestly I could have let anyone win this one and they would have been a good opponent for Lion Heart.

And that also brings the year of 2016 to a close. It just feels like it went by so fast and we got a few contracts coming up. Time to look at who stays and who goes.
