Surprised to see Medico beat Smooth, but it makes sense given Smooth's inexperience and building momentum for Medico in this one. Still, I don't see Ramone losing here.

Again, was surprised Blaze didn't win his debut given the hype behind him. Guess you wanted to test his performance and gimmick before giving him a push. Of all the four in this match, he's the one who seems to need the win most and I'm willing to bet he gets the pin on JOJI, as Lion Heart is being built back up for a title match.

Mercutio Sleep vs Fearless Blue

Sleep needs a win to bounce back and Blue can take the pin here, especially after beating Blaze.

Mad Dog Mortimer vs Mark Smart

Going with who needs the win and who can take the loss here. Besides, Smart has more upside than MDM.

Ramone spends the early part getting beat on and eventually bails from the ring to take a moment only for Medico to dive out and continue the assault. Ramone tugs at the mask to distract Medico and take advantage. It turns into a more back and forth match with Medico coming close a few times. What El Medico didn't expect was Austin Smooth to come out and clock him in the back of the head when Ramone had the referee distracted. At sixteen minutes it was all about pacing and admittedly I perhaps went too hard at the start and later on had to sort of slow down so I didn't completely gas myself. I feel I did my part to put forth a good main event and also Austin revenge for the quick pin. The tag match also did well which is no surprise. Lion Heart seems to do better when taking on wrestlers that are more his size and JOJI can pretty much work with anyone and make things look good. I would say the more disappointing parts of the night was Mercutio just having a bad night in general and the fact Austin and Kid Fantastic do not work well together. Mercutio I feel can bounce back and just had an off night while despite their problems Smooth and Fantastic didn't have a horrible match. It is more I have to remember to book around that problem if they face off again. This was by far our best show to date and the fans are slowly coming in. At this rate I feel we might even break one hundred in the next show or two and that makes me feel good. We just got to keep plugging on and see where things take us.</div></blockquote>

A New Jersey Native that started wrestling at the age of ninteen. I don't know who trained him, but Smooth was left with slick chain wrestling skills, though he can brawl and fly when needed as well. What you get with Austin is a reliable in ring performer despite the short time in the business that is only going to get better. How he hasn't ended up on anyone's radar is beyond me. It could be his size working against him. Even so I could see him doing well in Japan if he ever chooses to go that route and in a way I am surprised ACPW hasn't taken a look at him yet. I have a feeling out of all our roster he is going to be the one that breaks out and finds success in a bigger promotion. It is not a matter of if, but when. For now he has steady work and a place to improve and ready him for when that time comes. Backstage he has mostly kept to himself. He is approachable and will have a good conversation, but for the most part he seems fine just hanging out and not being trouble. Perhaps that is why everyone was so surprised when he was behind a rib aimed at Mad Dog before the last show. On top of it it was a harmless one that didn't hurt anyone and in fact got everyone backstage laughing. It just makes me think he hangs back now just so he can do things like that and it be an actual surprise. When the former champ was in the ring he did seem to do well at dominating the two smaller opponents so Smooth/Sleep do their best to keep Medico in the ring and away from his partner. Things break down and all four men are in the ring at one point. Mark Smart and Cobra also put on a very good match and was only stunted a bit by the fact Cobra has trouble working longer matches. Both Sleep and Blaze got their first wins. Sleep did very well tonight so maybe it was just nerves that made his first two performances underwhelming. Blaze's victory is probably the less impressive of the two given it was Mad Dog he was facing, but more wins will come for both men. Lion Heart was a bit grumpy about being on the losing end, but me eating the pin as well as letting Lion Heart look rather dominant when he was in the ring helped get him to change his mind. The year is going by so fast. I can't believe we have already made it nine months in and we are doing pretty well. Everyone is enjoying themselves and several new friendships have been made. Ever since the departure of Daredevil Aero there have been very few incidents and most of the time Clarence Garcia handles giving out punishments if need be.

Harry has been quite on finances and has told me not to worry on that end. He wants my full concentration on running things. Having Ricochet Ramone and Mark Smart help out has been great as well. Everyone is pitching in and with each passing month we are drawing more people in. Given how ticket sales have been we might even break one hundred next month.

I still have a hard time realizing this is all really happening. Sometimes it just feels like a vivid dream that I never want to wake up from. Worry has slipped away almost entirely and I am having fun. We're all having fun. It is a good group of guys I have been blessed to work with and in the end if this is how I see out the rest of my career without ever tasting something bigger I am okay with that.
