Wrestler excursions

Recommended Posts

For companies like new Japan sending wrestlers on excursions is a big part of the development. There isn't an option to have this as part of an alliance so what ways have people found to best replicate this? Obviously talent trade doesn't work as they may not trade for them and it's a handful of appearances. I'm considering editing them to have a ppa deal with the company that I want to send them on excursions to as that may be the best option but wondered if anyone had come up with anything else

Is there an effect if you send them internationally as opposed to just nearby?

From a story stand point, it can be nice to say you sent a guy overseas to get better as it can fit, thematically, with how someone might do that.

I'm still fairly new to the game but if I remember correctly, if you edit the database there should be an area about excursions, from there you can set it up. Not 100% sure but i'm just trying to put my two cents in.

Edit: I just checked, there is in fact an area for excursions, you can choose the wrestler and who sent them where and the return date.

Obviously this is more in my story rather than an in game thing

Excursions can happen for any region that has Loyalty turned on, which by default in most datasets should be Japan only as it's the only region that really uses them. But with the magic of the editor you can have that happen in any region, which would make it possible for all regions to have excursions. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

As for me, in my BHOTWG game I send workers to my various child companies to simulate an excursion. That has mostly been for Japanese workers so far since I give them a lot of dark matches to train them up a bit first, but it can be for anyone that I treat as young lions on the main roster. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> There are other people on development deals of course, but I don't pretend they are there on excursion unless they've been jobbing with me for a good while first. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
