I believe he was resigned a few days/weeks later. And I haven't added Muhammad Hassan because although there were rumours he was to appear elsewhere, he'd basically become so disenchanted with professional wrestling after his release from the 'E that he'd pretty much made up his mind to retire. I'm not going to rule him out of appearing in future because I'd personally like to see what could have been myself, but it's something I'm going to have to consider because as much as I love the "what if's" of my modifications, if he'd already made up his mind by the time Shifting Sands starts, I don't want to alter it too much."</strong></p><p> </p><p> /QUOTE]</p><p> </p><p> With the WWE the issue is that only the Rock is considered a draw of all the active wrestlers in the US. I'd actually probably say the same with Stacy Keibler being set as a retired wrestler- she was in the real world on the way out but actually still under contract at this point and had thing played out differently she could well have returned to an in ring role. I don't want to give you false hope. I've barely played the mod. Running a whopping 2 days of a TNA game (so no shows yet) and 10 days into a Sex Appeal women's fed like I loved in iDOL's mod in 13. Just in one of my unmotivated to really play TEW phases that I go through at times. This game is great but it has always had the one fatal flaw of you really need to be in the zone playing it daily. Otherwise, you stare at the ginormous mountain you need to climb (16's reduction of pop gains didn't help here) and go meh, I'll play another game instead.

I would say that the charisma on the women is quite low. If 50 is average (it's not but since a lot of people think it is, I'll roll with it for this example), there are a ton of people that are charisma vacuums (not Jake Strong-sized ones as his should be -100 in any RW mod).

Sure, I'll take a look at the women's charisma. I haven't got TEW in front of me but I wouldn't be surprised if some of them are slightly low because I really concentrated on making those that deserve it credible wrestlers and may have slightly misjudged their entertainment skills.

You might want to take a look at restrictions on titles, Tyson Tomko just won the WWE Womens title during my indy save.

Are you sure you're using the updated data? This was a problem in the previous version but I'm pretty sure I corrected this in the update.

With the WWE the issue is that only the Rock is considered a draw of all the active wrestlers in the US. That's a bit unrealistic. I'm all for the mod not having people being OP but with the pop how it is I cant see a realistic way the WWE can get to where it is today. Trips, Taker, Michaels, Batista etc are pretty much draws at this point in time as would be Sting and probably Flair & Hogan. I'm fine with nobody being above the draw level but there's basically nobody other than the Rock & Austin who can draw a crowd and that feels under the real world at the time. It's one o those difficult balancing acts which just feels like it's tipped a little too far one way at the moment.

With Carelli he had already come back to OVW in Oct 05 under Heyman and debuted Oct 29 teaming with Idol Stevens against Chet & Cage. He makes a tv debut in April 06 but had been working for 6 months on their house show circuit. So he was definitely back with OVW when Shifiting Sands starts.

Love the mod.

You make valid points and I'll re-look at Anthony Carelli and Muhammad Hassan. Stacy Keibler is less likely but I may give her a once over... which sounds way kinkier than I intended.

I would have gladly done it if hailthebulldog hadn't already done so, which reminds me; if anyone has any graphic requests for Shifting Sands, then simply ask and I'll be happy to help.

are there any plans to add more yet to debut workers?

And I've just recently this morning completed OZ Academy, which is who I started my joshi puroresu revolution with. xD There's probably going to be loads more I come across that I want to add (not least a small Mexican promotion to compete with the "big two" and a couple of promotions in Australia) but for now, that's my complete list.

<p>- Hiroshi Hase should probably have Strong Dislike or Hatred with Kensuke Sasaki. </p><p> </p><p>

- Kei Sato has a tag team with Shu El Guerrero instead of Shu Sato</p><p> </p><p>

- The cut-off weight for Junior titles is better off as Lightweight rather than Middleweight. As it stands guys like Kojima, Chono and Misawa would be elligible to win junior titles, for example.</p>

I've added the suggested relationship and fixed the tag team issue, thanks.

I haven't got TEW in front of me but I can imagine the reason I've set a lot of the Junior Championships as Middleweight is because setting it at Lightweight would mean leaving a lot of workers out. I can't speak for anyone else, but I prefer to have as many potential possibilities as possible rather than limiting myself because lets face it, real world promotions fudge height and weight so they can push people they like, and they don't stick to their own weight limits. I remember a few people suggested I lower the weight of the Cruiserweight Championship upon initial release but I argued my point on that too. Unless size limits are altered in TEW 2020 to give you something that lies between the Lightweight and Middleweight options, it's going to remain the same I'm afraid.

Okay, so my suggestions were based on the older version then xD

They still work, so don't worry about it. :p

Don't know if I'm looking for the wrong names but I can seem to find the Young Bucks anywhere in the database?

No, they aren't currently in the database but they're now on my "To Add" list. :)

<p>So I have played 8 months of my draft fed now and can confirm the US pop of the top workers needs to be looked at. One US talent is at draw level The Rock assuming you don't count retired Steve Austin meaning it must be a nightmare for the WWE in SS as I can't imagine getting many successful shows or keep tv execs happy. Japan and Mexico get great crowds but not so US.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Alt Cut wise there's no American Dragon cut for Danielson</p><p> </p><p>

I love the mod and I am fine with it being tough but the USA has one active competitor who is at Draw level - The Rock who is semi active and on Hiatus</p><p> </p><p>

Japan has Lesnar Mutoh, Chono, Nakamura, Fujinami & Nagata</p><p> </p><p>

Mexico has Atlantis, Blue Panther, Dr Wagner Jr, El Hijo del Santo , L.A Par-K, Negro Casas, Ultimo Dragon & Ultimo Guerrero</p><p> </p><p>

Balance wise if Japan got 2 more draws and the USA 7 more draws I feel that would be more realistic. It was far from a golden age for the business and having a small number of guys who are draws in any area rather than stars makes it a challenge but with the pop how it is I cant see the US playing remotely close to reality. The WWE didn't collapse to Cult level and with the mod as is that seems like nigh impossible with exactly 0 people available as draws. </p><p> </p><p>

Britain has 9 draws total including Austin - all from the English speaking Americas meaning most of those guys are more popular in the Isles than they are at home. </p><p> </p><p>

I'd say 6 of Micheals, Taker, Cena, Batista, Sting, Hogan, Triple H and the undervalued Ric Flair would have strong cases to still be Draws in Jan 06. While Kenta Kobashi, Jushin Thunder Liger and Tiger Mask IV are probably draws in Japan at that point.</p><p> </p><p>

I wouldn't say you need a wholesale upgrade in pop just a few points on those people would make the gameplay a little more realistic without making it massively easier.</p>

Alt Cut wise there's no American Dragon cut for Danielson.

I couldn't believe I hadn't added "American Dragon" as an Alter Ego when I read your post last night; I literally stared at the computer for a minute, turned on TEW and scrolled through everything to make sure you weren't just missing it. xD I've now added it as an Alter Ego and, of course, here's the picture:

Kenny Omega (with some more "Cleaner" pictures too)

<p>Just stumbled across this today, looks amazing and definitely something I want to dig in to. My only question is how often do you plan to update the data? No rush intended, I just don't want to start up then have new data come out within a week or two. Obviously this level of detail takes time, so I was just wondering what you expect your process to look like. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Can't wait to get in there!</p>

<p>Something I've noticed: once TNA gets out of the NWA (which in my saves apparently doesn't even take a week in) the NWA just disappears, but the titles can be bought, meaning, if we want to restart it we can, but the alliance titles can never be put at it's correct place.</p><p> </p><p>

Now, the only solution that I came up with it was adding another company to the NWA. </p><p> </p><p>

Thoughts?</p>

Secondly, I think we're talking months rather than weeks for the next update because there's lots I want to do before releasing another update, not least the amount of new promotions I wish to add. So, if I was you, I'd get stuck in. Thirdly, I hope you enjoy. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="S_Joker" data-cite="S_Joker" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45924" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Something I've noticed: once TNA gets out of the NWA (which in my saves apparently doesn't even take a week in) the NWA just disappears, but the titles can be bought, meaning, if we want to restart it we can, but the alliance titles can never be put at it's correct place.<p> </p><p> Now, the only solution that I came up with it was adding another company to the NWA. </p><p> </p><p> Thoughts?</p></div></blockquote><p> Yeah, I've actually thought about this too because something similar happens in the large majority of my testing games. The only trouble is finding promotions part of the National Wrestling Alliance that interest me in this time period. The promotions that interest me the most are NWA Cyberspace, NWA UK Hammerlock and NWA Hawaii (to give the database a promotion in Hawaii), but as the latter has very little information it's more likely to be one of the two former. NWA Cyberspace would probably be the most interesting as it genuinely had a partnership with TNA (even before they were part of the NWA) and there was a lot going on behind the scenes in the promotion, but if you've played any of my modifications before, you know I'm a sucker for a British promotion. xD Who knows? Maybe I'll add both.</p>
