Finally got some time to check this out thanks for the work Mammoth and thanks Liger for the picture link. Just took ROH for a spin and the faces and heels could use some adjustments Chad Collyer was definitely the heel in is quick program with ace steel who should be face. I would also argue that Adam Pearce should be face from the start as he was coming to ROHs defense against CZW right away and that was his only real feud until death before dishonor 4. Christopher Daniels should definitely be a face though as he came back in the summer of 05 as a face hadn’t done anything to change his alignment. There are a few others that could be face but I understand why you have them as heels like Lacey’s angels and Sal n Tony but the others I think are definitely in need of change for the update. Also I would add a working agreement with Noah as KENTA was at final battle 05 and would return through 06.

Missing Japanese Wrestlers

I've noticed some pretty big names in New Japan are missing. Guys like Takaaki Watanabe, Hiromu Takahashi, Sho Tanaka, Yohei Komatsu, Yujiro Kushida, Tetsuya Naito & I'm sure more but can't recall off the top of my head. I really love your picture pack & would love to see the game world fleshed out more. I seriously think this mod is some of the highest quality stuff around. Keep up the great work!

Sorry for the lack of replies, folks. As always, I've been working diligently on the modification in the shadows since it's initial release, but my personal life these days stop me coming on the boards as much as I would like so even though I'm still working hard, I can't reply to all comments as quickly as I'd like.

First up thanks for your efforts - it's a very strong entry in the mods. I'm going to mention a few people below who were active in 2006 and become important within 2 years of the mods start date but don't appear to be in the data currently as I believe adding them would add to the realism and immersion of the mod.

I'd suggest going through current real world mods like The Who and RWC and working out who should be active in 2006 or thereabouts. Not for everybody of course but for those people who are the right age bracket to become significant in your mod but aren't included now.

Madison Eagles had already tried out for OVW back in 2003, worked for places like HWA and trained at ROH & CHIKARA and made numerous US appearances. It was 2007 where she founded PWA & PWWA in Australia and 2008 when she hits the USA and Canada full force and becomes a large part of the catalyst for the resurgence of Womens wrestling in the US. She's such a vital part of the next few years in the world of wrestling that her absence is jarring. She's not the only person whose absence is an issue just an obvious example.

In terms of Australia Ryan Eagles was also active and new Bullet Club member Robbie Eagles would be a future debut in March 08. Jessie McKay (Billie Kay) debuts June 07, KC Cassidy (Peyton Royce) Feb 09, Matt Silva (Buddy Murphy) in 2007. The Basso Brothers were active as of 2003. Kellie Skater debuts in March 2007.

Mike Kruel isn't anywhere to be seen which surprises me as he was a guy who was an important part of the WWE development areas around this time till his release in 2009 - he debuts in OVW in July 06. Milena Roucka had competed in the Diva Search in 2006 and signed a Dev contract and was his offsider. Oleg Prudius (Vladimir Koslov) had signed his Dev contract on 17th Jan 2006 again he ended up with Kruel's stable.

Anthony Carelli was with OVW between 2005 and 2007 when he was called up as Santino Marella - he ws using the moniker - Boris Alexiev (it was in 2005 that Cornette slapped him and lost his job).

Mark Copani (Muhammad Hassan) had been released in 2005 and there was still a real chance that somewhere like TNA would make him an offer at this point.

Shawn Spears (Tye Dillinger) signs his dev contract 21 Jan 2006. He had already appeared on RAW being Superkicked by HBK in an angle.

Cody Runnels debuts in OVW in June 2006.

Lindsay Kay Howard (Isis the Amazon) was active late 2006.

There are some Japanese workers who should be active early in 2006 - Tetsuya Naito who had been training for a number of years and debuted for NJPW in May 2006 for instance.

Yeah, as I've mentioned countless times in the past, this was basically a very early BETA as there are still loads of people I'd personally like to add, let alone workers who you'd all like to see included. With that said however, Madison Eagles, Ryan Eagles, Robbie Eagles, Jessie McKay, KC Cassidy, Matt Silva, The Basso Brothers, Kellie Skater, Mike Kruel, Milena Roucka, Vladimir Koslov, Shawn Spears, Cody Runnels, Lindsay Kay Howard and Tetsuya Naito have all been added to my "To Add" list.

Anthony Carelli (and his alter ego "Boris Alexiev") is already part of the modification but as far as I'm aware, he wasn't technically signed to Ohio Valley Wrestling at the start of January, 2006 and was simply training with them after the altercation with Jim Cornette. I believe he was resigned a few days/weeks later. And I haven't added Muhammad Hassan because although there were rumours he was to appear elsewhere, he'd basically become so disenchanted with professional wrestling after his release from the 'E that he'd pretty much made up his mind to retire. I'm not going to rule him out of appearing in future because I'd personally like to see what could have been myself, but it's something I'm going to have to consider because as much as I love the "what if's" of my modifications, if he'd already made up his mind by the time Shifting Sands starts, I don't want to alter it too much.

The "Stan Lee" in the database is not the same one that was in WWC as "Salt 'n' Pepper." I'm happy with where he sits in terms of popularity because he's right on that precipice, literally a few months away from being a superstar. I'm also comfortable with his skills because you've got to remember he's 23/24 at the start of the game and it gives him plenty of room for development and - just like his popularity - he wasn't quite the finished article right at the start of the year as it was basically 2006 when he caught peoples and not just the promoters attention.

Erica D'Erico, Jersey, Misae Genki, SoSay and Xochitl Hamada have their genders set as male instead of female.

Thanks for letting me know. So yeah, don't get too excited but I'm hoping it's going to bring together all the different image backgrounds to create a skin that truly captures the world I've tried to create in this modification. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="ax4bmct.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ax4bmct.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

That looks amazing man!

God that skin is a thing of beauty man.

Thanks, guys. I uploaded these "active" screenshots at the same time but I totally forgot to add them. Here:

And for those who've messaged me since yesterday wondering how many workers I've added since release, the number currently stands at 2,012 but there's obviously a lot of other stuff I'm also working on. ;)

There's still so much I want to do so I'm reluctant to do another update quite yet, but I've also been thinking about maybe putting something out at Christmas as a gift to everyone who's played already. I don't know yet, it really depends on how much I can get done between then and now.

This is going to be the best gift of the holiday season! I had a number of ideas regarding a potential ROH game while looking over the beta. Such a deep and diverse roster with so much potential as long as WWE doesn't steal everybody. However, recently I've been "gaming the system," I suppose, by trading higher downsides for company loyalty to replicate the current contract structures in wrestling, which definitely allows you to develop talent for the world, removing his loyalty when the contract expires.

Anyway, now I'm rambling. Really excited for this, Mammoth! Merry Christmas! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Version 1.0

Okay, ladies and gentlemen. What will you get in what I consider Version 1.0?

Fixed Errors

- Unsurprisingly, I've fixed a lot of the errors that the Grey Dog Software community has brought to my attention.

Added Workers

- Also unsurprisingly, I've added a host of new workers. I can't for the life of me remember how many workers were in the original release but I believe it was around 1,900 and the number now stands at 2,047. I haven't had chance to add everyone people have asked for, but I've made a start and I assure everyone who has put forward names that they are on my list and will be added but there were other things I wanted to do first.

Game World

- I'm sure some of you manually changed the game world when I released an image of the new statistics but for those of you who didn't, you'll be introduced to an entirely new game world which will hopefully solve a lot of the issues that the former game world produced.

Halls of Fame

- The Halls of Fame have been expanded to include real life Halls of Fame from around the globe. They're not complete but everyone who isn't currently in the database will be added to complete them at some time or another.

Historical Power 500

- I've gone back and done the Power 100 (not the Power 500 because nobody's got time fo' that) for the years between 1991 and 2005 to flesh out the game world.

Mask & Hair History

- To give you an idea as to how much work I've put into this area simply to flesh out the game world, the number of records in this particular category currently stands at 964. I haven't actually completed it because although I've done every "Mask", I only got up to around 2002 in the "Hair" but I was eager to release the update before the draft and knew I wouldn't be done on time. As it's purely cosmetic, it doesn't really matter but just to let you know, the rest of the "Hair" will be done by the time of the next update.

There's probably a lot more I can't think of right now but for now, that's going to have to do. So without further ado:
