As good as this mod already is, there are places it still feels extremely lacking. I know that I, and I'm sure most everyone, appreciate the work you've put into it but we've still got at least a year, if not more before TEW 20 comes out. I feel like people won't mind their not being much of a difference between the two because the game upgrade will be enough to change the game world.</div></blockquote><p> That's a fair point, and I think I'd also actually like to get some peoples opinions on the promotions I've added thus far before the release for TEW20. We'll see as honestly, I haven't made a decision either way and it greatly depends on how much I can get done before TEW20's release.</p><p> </p><p> All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling, GAEA Japan, Ice Ribbon Girl's Pro Wrestling, JDStar Women's Pro Wrestling, NEO Women's Pro-Wrestling, OZ Academy and World Wonder Ring STARDOM are all added and complete. The only thing missing is announcers for these respective companies as I couldn't find any information on this, even for those with TV shows at this time. If anybody could help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. I've also added one or two dojo's from the aforementioned companies and I'll also be adding about 50 Japanese women to the modification to help give these companies a nice well to choose from. I've also decided I'll be adding NWA Cyberspace, NWA UK Hammerlock, Impact Pro Wrestling (New Zealand) and International Wrestling Australia to the modification to fill out some crucial areas. Apart from that, I'm just continuing to add from my "To Do" list. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>Just a small gripe.... could probably simply add it on your own before starting a new game of course, but Bobby Heenan and Mike Tenay should have at least adequate announcing chemistry from their time together in WCW. Same with Shiavone and Tenay.</p><p> </p><p>

Great Mod btw! I've played MANY MOD's from around this time period and this is one of the best!</p>

Anytime you feel like releasing the new workers that would be fantastic. I am into April 2008 in the draft game and it's been brutal for the Japanese feds in the draft game. People set intensity and danger too high and people are getting spinal cord injuries left and right over there. What with Headhunter A falling 20 stories, Bubblegum getting mistakenly shot by SWAT and another guy exploding and natural attrition it would be getting empty without generation on. It's been a blast even though I am still at cult, stupid 8th 65 percent region.

Yeah it's a blast - well not so much for people like KENTA who retired at 26 after joining the Spinal Cord Rupture club along with like a dozen other workers in Japan.

It's a weird old world in my game. Nick Dinsmore is the hottest rising star in the world, Trent Acid is not only alive but clean and is at 90 ring psych, Kenny Doane is a star and Stephanie McMahon divorced Triple H and then started dating CM Punk. My fed turned into the NJPW 10 years early with weird mega stables left and right

The Ronin - Steph, Tanahashi, Okada, Otani, Nishimura, The Great Sasuke, Yoshino, Ibushi, Jade Chung and Gail Kim

Alliance - Rock, Omega, Sting, Mankind, Cena, Stacy Keibler

Chaos Theory - Taker, Kane, Ultramantis Black, Super Dragon, Delirious, Daffney & MsChif

Evolved - Batista, Orton, Jindrak, Morgan, Shelly Martinez

Coalition - Edge, Christian, Hero, Doane, Claudio Casta (Cesaro) & Lita

The Professionals - Ted Dibiase, Dinsmore, Adam Pearce, Lance Storm

Acid Kashmere Smile - Trent Acid, Johnny Kashmere, Norman Smiley, American Angel (Sara Del rey) & SoSay

Dia de Muertos - Ozz, Cuervo, Escoria, Espiritu, Chessman, Cinthia Moreno & Esther Moreno.

And a bunch of others and three dev leagues in Eastern Australia, Iberia and Central Britain.

I just got my first 100 rated match 2 1/2 years in with Roc, Cena & Omega vs Otani, Sasuke & Nishimura for the Trios title. Which given I started at Regional with Rock & Batista and a bunch of young guys and cast offs. That 8th 65% in the US eludes me though.

All the languages in the world, and still no words can describe the feeling of reading this.

Oh I know, she's tight with Matt Classic too, it's just bizarre . Shelly Martinez has a Strong Friendship with Batista, Sting is mentoring Kenny Doane too. The game throws up some weird old vagaries sometimes. When you have a 100 backstage environment you keep getting good stuff and when people are happy you seem to get mor positive relationships..

I know this goes without saying for a lot of people, but I do really urge people to check out the picture pack if you're at a loss with the direction you want to take a worker. I'm just putting the finishing touches on Ryota Hama and I've found an excellent picture of him in a suit which just screams "Yakuza muscle".

I've asked some people to see if we can find out some announcers for you.

One thing I notice as I look around the database is that you've really only got about 40 wrestlers set to debut. What is your plan with that? Are you looking to expand those?

While looking at a possible TNA game, I noticed that guys like Tommy Mercer/Crimson, Samuel Shaw, Jax Dane and various others aren't in the database. Now I know that 2 of them didn't debut until 2007 and Dane didn't actually come around until 2009. I'm just wondering if you plan to add future workers like them as you continue on with the database?

I'm always looking to expand so I'm sure this number will grow. I depend on you guys really to give me names you'd like to see added to fill out future workers, because I generally concentrate on making the modification work from the get-go. With that said, Tommy Mercer, Samuel Shaw and Jax Dane have all been added to my "To Do" list. I do find it's something that just grow organically over time as I'll be working on one person and come across 3-4 other names that I'd like to add too but as I say, if you guys name someone then I'll do my best to add them rather than relying on me to come across somebody.</p>

I want to do an update for TEW16, but it's about finding a time and place to stop what I'm doing and release it because I'm in the middle of a few things at the moment. Therefore, I can't really give you a time of arrival but yes, there will definitely be an update for TEW16.</p>

<p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Version 1.0</span></strong></p><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;">it's still version 1.0 because I forgot to change it. >.<</span></p><p> </p><p>

Okay, ladies and gentlemen. What will you get in Version 1.0?</p><p> </p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Fixed Errors</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> - Unsurprisingly, I've fixed a lot of the errors that the Grey Dog Software community has brought to my attention. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Added Workers</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> - Also unsurprisingly, I've added a host of new workers. The number previously stood at 2,047 and now it stands at 2,162 so that - for the numerically challenged like me - is over 100 new workers in the database. I haven't had the opportunity to add everyone people have asked for, but I'm slowly getting through my "To-Do" list and I assure everyone who has put forward names that they are on my list and will be added eventually. You DO NOT need to suggest them again because I assure you; if they've been mentioned in this thread, they will be added. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Added Companies</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> - As previously reported, I've added a joshi proresu scene to the modification with the addition of All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling, GAEA Japan, Ice Ribbon Girl's Pro Wrestling, JDStar Women's Pro Wrestling, NEO Women's Pro-Wrestling, OZ Academy and World Wonder Ring STARDOM. The only thing missing is announcers for these respective companies as I couldn't find any information on this, even for those with TV shows at this time. I'be also added NWA Cyberspace and NWA UK Hammerlock, although I've been unable to add Impact Pro Wrestling (New Zealand) and International Wrestling Australia to the modification due to the lack of information on them in January, 2006.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Match Types</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> - I've generally just gone over it and tidied it up a bit while also changing some of their descriptions to both make them a bit more understandable and also more uniform.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Free Pictures</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> - I've added 48 "Free Pictures" to the modification. It obviously doesn't have a big effect (unless you bring "New Workers" date forward) but it's something I felt like doing and I may add more in the future. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

There's probably a lot more I can't think of right now too but for now, that's going to have to do. So without further ado:</div><p></p><p> </p><p>

Honestly, the mod is great. My one complaint, and it's really small, is was WWE really struggling this much? Like, Cena was pretty popular at that point, Undertaker was really popular as well. There's not many big stars, but I guess it would depend on how you define popularity too.

Oh good some new warm bodies for my Autumn Draft game - I'm almost 4 years in and as much as I like discovering new system generated and regen talent it will be nice getting some real people to replace the retirees - especially in Japan which has had about 30 spinal injuries in 4 years.

I tend to agree but I am playing a game from the draft that was done back in Dec 18 using this and I started at Regional with good money but only The Rock & Batista and a bunch of talented but not really over guys and 3 years 11 months later I'm getting 81000+ people at Wembley Stadium in the UK when I am based in South East USA so even with the WWE set up in a hard position in the core mod any player with a naturally aggressive playing style (which actually mirrors Vince's real style) should be able to get that pop back up to where it needs to be with some canny buys and some good booking. I had people like Matt Morgan and Mark Jindrak and drug crazed Trent Acid to start with and got really good once I addressed their issues. Trent Acid, The Rock and … Super Dragon …. are the three most popular wrestlers in the world. How Super Dragon became a mega star is beyond me but he's hovering at about a 95 pop across the board and I assume my fed is selling Super Dragon masks to kids. That's the thing with the game - because of the random destiny thing I somehow managed to get an obscure PWG guy and a guy that dies of a drug overdose to become Megastars.

Weirdly the first and so far only person to die of drug related causes is Vince McMahon - let this be a lesson to you all never mix Viagra and Steroids kids. His death left his daughter Stephanie and her fiancé CM Punk very sad (I'm not joking about that either - Steph had a kid, divorced HHH a month later and then 6 months later started dating Punk). This whole database was worth it just for that truly bizarre alternate universe set of events.

Thank you for the update Mammoth!!! :D

Thanks for the update. Will give this a go soon!

Appreciate the work Mammoth, can't wait to give it a go!

You're welcome, guys. I look forward to hearing all your opinions. :)

Noticed a little mistake on the database, i know they are expected so i will leave it here so you can correct it. Heidenreich appears to be 33 years old. If i find more i will update this post with more information.

Will have fun with this database thanks for creating it.

Yes, sorry. He is in fact 33 in January, 2006 (born in June, 1972) so that's actually correct; what's wrong is his description, but that has now been corrected so thank you. I look forward to hearing more.

It's not necessarily the stars who have low popularity (I actually increased a lot of the main event guys) but it's the 'E themselves and - as has been mentioned previously - I really don't want to inflate them too much. They were struggling in real life around this time but I've probably made them slightly worse than they actually were but that's for the games sake more than anything as I hate modifications where the 'E are so inflated that it's almost impossible to usurp them. I really want the modification to have that air of "anything is possible" because that's really what it was like at this time with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Ring of Honor both having incredible momentum whilst the 'E were spending too much time on bulking up their roster unnecessarily. WWE still have quite a big advantage so it's never bothered me very much.

Oh good some new warm bodies for my Autumn Draft game - I'm almost 4 years in and as much as I like discovering new system generated and regen talent it will be nice getting some real people to replace the retirees - especially in Japan which has had about 30 spinal injuries in 4 years.

I'm here to appease. :p

See, this is exactly what I want from my modifications; the what-ifs and how-the-hells. There's nothing worse in my opinion than seeing a modification play out just like real life because surely that's not why we all play? I love the sound of that and can't wait to see how my own game plays out because I've finally decided to give myself a break from creating the modification and I've decided to give it a go myself. :)
