I think it is clear he had an ability. He targeted you, so it is worth at least looking into.

Then at the final hour when he could speak, why dud he say he had nothing? He was going to swing anyway, why not say what he had?

He could have been a protector in high cas he would nit have had anything.

He’s a great player. He would have said it if he had anything.

To be fair he specifically said he didn’t go out at night

Which also is why I was flabbergasted at him knowing you were scum despite not having the ability to leave during nights

The thing that gets me is the name. He could do something and we need to figure out what he knew.

You know the more I think about this and the more it's chewed over, I think I have the answer to that puzzle. We know Eayragt's descriptor was "Retro Game Maker". Is it possible he was a paranoid or maybe reverse cop? Often times those that devoted to retro gaming are such because they believe old games are better than anything on offer today. Having those kind of rose colored glasses on could easily be worked into a Mafia game mechanic.

In a much larger game, sure. In a game this size, that's pretty much dooming the town.

I'll just say that all of the votes that have occurred today are very interesting to me. Not necessarily who they were cast on, but who cast them.

Also, Wrestling Century.

And that was more vague than I wanted it to be. I just think that it's interesting that both days have had cappy voting for someone followed shortly by mlt.

Could be a coincidence, might not be.

Emark and Leion, Relax, I said you've raised my eyebrow. I didn't throw out any accusations or drop a vote on either of you. Through yesterday, you were just people that I took notice of.

For the both of you, it has been the sum of your posts and not one post specifically that has looked questionable to me. I just haven't seen anything of substance yet. Everything has come across as some "ra ra, let's go town" stuff while not really adding much.

Is that worth raised suspicion? Yes. At the same time, not enough yet to really have a go at either of you, unless, through discussion others have similar thoughts. Which is why I threw it out there. To see if anyone else is feeling the same and see how you react to even a little doubt on you.

I think I know the one that was meant in your case. But now that I'm looking at things with fresh morning eyes, I also think I could be looking at said post with hindsight. Interpreting it as the one Rev meant because I know there's meant to be one.

But you know what guys? Flark it. The way we're talking around stuff, we're going to end up with another useless phase if we don't start calling witnesses and getting testimony. So to that end, I want to make a proposal.

I propose we call the man who hammered Eayragt's lynch.

I propose we call a man certainly vet enough to recognize how dangerous it is to let guys like Derek and Arrows have a voice.

A man who just last night was trying to give us direction in one sentence and then trying to paint Lukess and me as problems just a couple sentences later because we were the opening votes on the lynch. Even though we both explained said votes in the moment and have further expounded on the logic behind them since.

Lady and gentlemen of the gaming community, I wish to call

vote: imarevenant

to the stand.

You have a flare for the dramatic I'll give you that. But to be honest that tendency in you just comes across as fake posturing to me. Always has.

Anyway, as for the bolded. Please, if I was calling either of you out with any conviction I would have dropped a vote on you.

But since you want explanations? I guess, I really don't know what you do want as all you did was bluster without actually saying anything. Anyway, let's really look at day 2 and some things that have been bothering me.

So, back to Day 2. Every post is commenting on the fact that DB, someone who usually has action following him was hit and that we're all hoping somebody has some type of result from the night that could point in some direction.

Eayragt posts this.

vote: moon_lit_tears

<img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Now let's take away the end result. We didn't know then, the risk he decided to take, we were just asking around if anyone had a result and Eay chimes in with this. Is it worth discussion to see if there is something substantial before moving off MLT?

Yes.

Before Eay ever returns we get the following. A vote dropped on Eay, who to me looked like he was giving us some kind of night result.

Well now, that sure is a move. Would love to hear more of the justification for it. Of all the people in this game, why her?

Vote: eayragt

Because a vote that's the only text in a post smells like raw fish left all day in a hot car.

And this weird analogy. Sorry, but again, your constant dramatic phrasing and posting seems fake to me. And in this game, fake = scum. I'm not even talking lying. Because arrows lies all the time about everything, but it never comes across as artificial and fake to me as half the stuff you post.

So when I read it the first time, it felt like a redirection.

Then this. Again before Eay has even commented.

Vote: eayragt
He has voted 3 times. One was for Derek and one was without a explanation. Seems off to me.

Yes this piqued my interest. I have no reason to trust Lukess so certain things look off to me. MLT less so, I really wouldn't have expected her to do anything but drop a vote on Eay in return. He seemed to be claiming some type of result and if she's town, she'd know he's lying and if she's scum well, it's what I'd expect.

But for Lukess' vote.

Really? This is the solid reasoning your saying I'm ignoring Cap?

Day 1

Woo. It happens every game, scum, town, Indi aligned players. We all post the same jokes day 1.

It came across as weak reasoning to me to pull attention in a different direction within a handful of posts.

And I know the overall result of the situation was poor play by Eay, but at the time I didn't see enough of a reason to automatically doubt and divert attention before even hearing from the accuser.

Afterward, sure, his entire defense of himself made little to no sense, but within what?, 10 posts of his vote, 2 were dropped on him in return.

If that didn't raise your concern then I don't know what else to really say.

I propose we call a man certainly vet enough to recognize how dangerous it is to let guys like Derek and Arrows have a voice.

I tried to call attention to this reasoning in my post last night but again it persists. This reasoning is a red herring and pure BS. Seriously, it's stupid reasoning, I can't put it any clearer than that and don't want to try. All of 2 players in the entire game haven't played before (and apparently I'm wrong about Lukess as he has played before). DB and Arrows were known to be good players. Trying to find the Vet leader in sea of Vets is dumb.

Anyone using this a basis for any type of argument is either just not thinking or is grasping at anything they can throw together to make a shaky case look better.

A man who just last night was trying to give us direction in one sentence and then trying to paint Lukess and me as problems just a couple sentences later because we were the opening votes on the lynch. Even though we both explained said votes in the moment and have further expounded on the logic behind them since.

This is completely misleading. Again, If I wanted to really accuse you of being scum, I would just do it. I made a plea to the rest of the players to start communicating and offered things that I was looking at to see if any were feeling the same way and to get people talking.

To be honest, this post from you had settled my suspicions about the entire situation, with regard to your actions it it.

Can't speak for Lukess naturally. Didn't even know the guy existed until Astil posted to create this game. But all I was trying to achieve with my vote was to make him explain himself. Hopefully learning there was reason for him to suspect MLT and we could either follow his lead or find a new one. Unfortunately we saw how he bollocks'ed that and became the perfect storm of distractions.

That was until seeing your half-baked reasoning to come at me. Which I wasn't that worried about, I kind of threw it up to Cappy being dramatic again.

And that was more vague than I wanted it to be. I just think that it's interesting that both days have had cappy voting for someone followed shortly by mlt.

Could be a coincidence, might not be.

But yeah, I have noticed what Crych has and it's been interesting to see who has decided to just follow Cap down this rabbit whole when if they looked even a little more closely at his "reasoning" they'd see it's all fluff with not even a reasonable argument.

So really, what am I answering to? The Audacity to have questions and want to look at the lynching of a townie, no matter how badly they played?

It's what we're supposed to be doing, so don't dilute the towns ability to look at entire situations more closely just because you were a big part of it. It does nothing to hurt the town.

Work with me here, because as a town we're drowning and I'm more than a little irked that MLT made a plea for more communication and I did as well, going so far as to put out the things that are causing me concern and all we've gotten in return is a half-baked vote with no real questions, just posturing. Posturing that came while people were working and pretty much wasted a good days worth of productivity as we sat around waiting for someone to have the opportunity to answer....I still don't even know what i'm being asked or accused of aside from not fully trusting Cap! So please, let's start tightening up our play; looking at voting records and actually using peoples actual play to try and smoke out the scum who's completely outplaying us, at the moment.

I'd probably say cappy would probably make the most sense. But cappy is also always a hard one to pin down, so if we go down that road we might just end up lynching people with quirky play styles who may or may not be on the level.
