He had grown up the oldest child of a single mother. He had two younger brothers. Three boys and then his dad had split and left his mom to find a way to provide. And she did. Christmas and birthdays were lean, but they survived. They lived in a double wide, but they survived. When he was twelve, he started working under the table. Manual labor. Helping around construction sites. Acting as a gopher. He worked his way up from there and in 2006 he was able to make his professional wrestling debut. He worked hard. A year and a half in Georgia trying to prove himself before he got a phone call from Rip asking him if he wanted to come to Mid Atlantic Wrestling. Of course he did. Rip had called him personally. He didn’t have Jean or Jay or Marv call him. He called him. He asked the big man to make the commitment. To come to the company that Mainstream and Jean and Erik and Citizen X were carrying. He was going to come in with a big push and he did. In less than a year, he had won the Mid Atlantic Tag Team Championship with Ricky Douglas. In 2010, he won the Mid Atlantic Championship for the first time. He won it from his good friend Brandon -- who was working as American Patriot. He held it for almost two years. Almost twenty-four months -- From September of 2010 to to June of 2012. It was an amazing run. He would hold the championship again -- two more times actually -- but not for nearly that length. He would win the Rip Chord Invitational tournament twice -- in back to back years -- he won the Sam Keith Classic alongside Sam’s son Matt. He was the only three time champion in Mid Atlantic history. Outside of Cameron Vessey, he was the most decorated competitor in the company’s history. He had been the backbone of the roster.

And then he had outgrown it. Black Canvas Grappling had come calling. Sam had put in a good word -- said it was time for the big man to show what he could do. And he did. He went there and started teaming with Brandon and they tore the house down. It led him to Burning Hammer -- and he was doing well there until they told him they didn’t need him anymore. They’d lost twenty-one million dollars. Were barely able to stay in business. He was gone.

Then Robert called. He hadn’t even packed his apartment yet when he got the call. Did Findlay want to come to Rocky Mountain Wrestling. Did he want to work full-time back in the States again? Findlay said yes. He didn’t have to think twice. Japan had dried up for him it seemed -- so he was coming back.

Findlay loved wrestling. He loved it with all of his being. Rocky Mountain Wrestling was his home for the foreseeable future. He had been the top gajin in BCG. Had been the top guy in Mid Atlantic. Now he was going to be a featured player in Rocky Mountain Wrestling. He had a goal -- be the top guy here. He was going to bust his rear end to be the top guy. In his mind, there was nothing that could stand in his way. He liked Riley a lot. They had worked in Georgia together. They had worked in Mid Atlantic Wrestling together. He was happy for Riley’s success -- but Findlay wanted to be the man. He was six feet eight and three hundred pounds. He was strong as an ox and should be a top guy. He knew it. Rip had known it. Sam had known it. Now it was time for Robert to learn that same fact...

May had been a good month for us. Despite losing Titan and Atlas to TCW -- joining Marshal Dillon as key losses, we were able to put the COTT World Tag Team Titles on American Demolition and we were able to make the key move of getting North of the Border Wrestling to join the COTT. Now we were set up for our first show of June, Rocky Mountain Wrestling Live volume 6.

Rocky Mountain Wrestling: Live #6

Saturday, Week 2, June, 2018

Live from the Oxford Arena, 7:30 PM Bell Time

Will Also Be Available On Demand on the Rocky Mountain Sports Network

Main Event

RMW Can-Am Championship

Sixty Minute Time Limit

"Top Rope" Robby Griffin versus "The Straight Shooter" Joel Bryant ©

Semi Main Event

Tag Team Match

Thirty Minute Time Limit

The House of Stone [Hugh Ancrie and Sonny Wildside] versus The Devil's Reject [Keith Holly and Johnny Anderson]

Singles Match

Twenty-Five Minute Time Limit

AG5000 versus Clyde Puder

Special Attraction

Six Man Tag

Twenty Five Minute Time Limit

The Puerto Rican Exchange versus The Hazard Gang / Duke Hazard

Opening Match

Singles Match

Twenty Minute Time Limit

Blue Tiger versus Marcel LeFleur

Hopefully we would not suffer any more losses to our numbers. TCW was continuing to let veteran talent go -- but were being aggressive in younger talent. I would not be surprised if we did not lose one or two guys this month to them, but we were going to add former booker and veteran wrestler Brent Hill to the mix of veterans to work with our younger talent. He would work primarily on the Rocky Mountain Wrestling Live series of shows to work with graduates of the dojo and hopefully bring them up to snuff.

Art Reed, Joel Bryant, Acid, and now Brent Hill were going to make a fine crop of experienced veterans to bring talent along. Joel had been doing great as Can-Am Champion, Art was doing great as the babyface to work with the heels. Though, I might need to find one more face to work with my heel trainees just to get them up to snuff.

I looked down at the card for Rocky Mountain Wrestling Live #7. As a show concept, it was doing very well. We had added some more veteran talent to our pool for the young guys to work with.

The shining stars so far of the brand were Keith Holly and Clyde Puder. Both guys, if I could keep them around, could be mega stars. Clyde could really be our big babyface in another year's time

I was also working a lot with Blue Tiger. I had taken him under my wing as my own pet protege project and was consistently working with him on his psychology. I wanted him to be our big junior heavyweight competitor from the dojo and he was developing nicely.

Rocky Mountain Wrestling Live #7

Saturday, Week 2, July, 2018

Live from the Oxford Arena, 7:30 PM Bell Time

Also Aired On Demand on the Rocky Mountain Sports Network.

Main Event

RMW Can-Am Championship

Sixty Minute Time Limit

"Glorious" Logan Diaz versus "The Straight Shooter" Joel Bryant

Semi Main Event

Singles Match

Forty-Five Minute Time Limit

Squeaky McClean versus Keith Holly

Special Attraction

Singles Match

Thirty Minute Time Limit

Toma versus Franklin Rush

Singles Match

Twenty Minute Time Limit

Art Reed versus The Acolyte

Opening Match

Tag Team Match

Twenty Minute Time Limit

The Griffins versus Wesley Browning and AG5000.
