I mean he was not replaced and we did have two folks on the reserve roster (SF who joined the game and Nick). That just might be me overthinking things.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah, that looks like it could be a roleblock or something too. It's tough to say, really. I wouldn't use the blue text as a giveaway that it's town, though. That could very easily be a mislead.</p><p> </p><p> I do agree that it's strange that 1 post mdylan was replaced, but not 1 post machine, but in mdylan's one post he did mention working two jobs, so maybe they asked to be replaced? The only potential lead we have from the write up is the bit we're discussing a possible cult person and jailer. My quick read last night does look wrong now (green text just make me think cult recruitment) but it reads more like the person with green text was at least being roleblocked. I kinda want to see if anyone is willing to come forward and say if they were blocked last night.... could help to shed some light on the situation without revealing too much information.</p><p> </p><p> I'm also curious to hear from machinesxe. I don't want to revisit yesterday yet, but I am also interested to hear from people who were voting later in the phase. In both cases the player targetted for jailing is unable to perform any night actions as a result of the jailing, though the side effects are different.</p><p> </p><p> In one variant a player is locked up in jail so that they are unable to perform any night actions while also being protected by the jailer. In this version the person jailed is basically roleblocked and protected, while still being able to be targetted by others with night abilities.</p><p> </p><p> The other main variant a player is jailed, leading to them being made untargettable. The jailing acts as a roleblock since the player can't leave the jail while also meaning that no-one else at all is able to target the player for any other ability.</p><p> </p><p> Those are the two main kinds of jailing to keep in mind. Some mods will also make it so that the player being jailed is unable to speak while being jailed. You have until 6:00PM EST (11:00PM GMT) on Monday, November 19th to reach a majority vote. If no vote has been reached at that time, a No Lynch will be declared. There have been silencers in previous games, but typically it’s announced in the night write up that so-and-so can’t post for a day and night phase. This strikes me as doing the bare minimum to remain active and simply playing by lurking...something I freely admit I’ve done many times in the past because one can learn a bit when being quiet and watching others.
