Those that had things to do went to prepare for their nights and the ones that didn't go out at night walked briskly towards their homes almost like they knew the darkness was the signal for evil to ease out of the corners it had been hiding in during the light... _________________________________________________________________ He hurried across the street from the square, afterall he didn't have far to go. Even in a growing town his head quarter still held a spot of prominence in the center of town. He had watched intently all day to the interaction of the townsfolk and had picked out his aim for the evening. He finished filling out the proper forms and faxed them where they needed to go. _________________________________________________________________ He hurried about making sure everything was as it should be. He wanted tonight to be successful. After everything that he needed was in place he looked out the window at the people leaving the square. He couldn't tell if who he needed was in or not. It hadn't gotten dark enough to see if the lights were on yet. ________________________________________________________________ He slipped out of the trees. He made it to the van and quietly popped the hood, as not to alert the owner. He quickly removed the leads from the battery and placed it on the ground. He quietly closed the hood and picked up the battery and hurried back into the woods. ________________________________________________________________ He had seen him at the town square. He needed to know more. There was just something weird about the guy. He gave him enough time to get home and then he headed for his house. ________________________________________________________________ She made her way to the address. She waited where she could see the house. ________________________________________________________________ He watched from a distance. "What is he up to?" he whispered to himself. ________________________________________________________________ He had ran over to the diner to grab a bite to eat and seen the man he wanted, walk by. He hurriedly paid and went to catch up with him. As he walked down the sidewalk he heard someone say "I've been waiting on you." "Really for what? I'm kinda in a hurry." 'Never to busy to take care of yourself my good man." And with that he invited him inside. "Guess this will have to wait then." _______________________________________________________________ He came out of the house and went to the van. He jumped in and put the key in. "Are you for real?" He got out and popped the hood. "Damnit!" He eased back in the woods and headed for home. He had seen what he needed. "Hello AAA, you're not going to believe this." ______________________________________________________________ They had stopped for ice cream on the way from the square. That was one of her favorite things to do. They rounded the corner onto the street they lived on. When suddenly she bumped into a man. "I'm sorry Miss. I shouldn't be in such a hurry. My apologies." "That's quite alright. No harm done." "Okay then, have a good evening you two." _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ He followed just out of site keeping to the shadows. He hoped he wouldn't be needed, but he was there in case he was. He had been following since they left the square. He had ducked between two houses when they turned the corner to take his spot in the shadows. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ He jimmied the lock. He quietly entered. He had seen the occupant of the house leave earlier. He went thru the papers on the desk looking for what he needed. "Ah, there it is." ________________________________________________________________ When he got there for his appointment, the person he was there to see was in another room with someone else. Shortly, he was shown to a room. After a few minutes the person he had an appointment with came in. "What can I help you with today?" They discussed the issues and suggestions were made. During the course of their conversation, the visitor was able to gather the information that they had came for. ________________________________________________________________ He was running behind. He had left his notebook at home and to retrieve it. He was walking very fast almost running. "Man I'm going to be so late. Hope he doesn't change his mind about teaching me." He crossed the street and was startled by a man in a nice suit. "Hey kid where you headed in such a hurry?" "I am late. I am starting my studies this evening. I'm going to make a difference." "That sounds good and all, but I don't think that's gonna happen." "Well it won't if I don't get moving and get there." "Nah, I don't think you're getting what I'm saying." At that he pulled the .38 from under his arm and said, "Sorry kid. But orders are orders." ________________________________________________________________ 5. Feel like we're supposed to believe it was vengeance from someone for last game, but not sure how many back and forths my brain can go through psychology wise there. A lot to take in on the write up. Just got home.</p><p> </p><p> Looking over day 1, I know in the long ago here on GDS a D1 Lynch was never really pushed for; it was to get an idea of how people played.</p><p> </p><p> Yet in this game, starting at about 8 hours before deadline, Mach was pushed from halfway to lynch to L-2. I want to get another read on it when my mind isn’t blown away by Christmas Eve/Sarajevo but basically from vote 8 to end of phase (I’m counting MLT’s failed vote in this too), I’m looking a bit more carefully into. Mainly due to the blue color of text in it, I am not sure if that was what others were talking about or not but if it is I am going back and forth on if I think that reads as a recruitment or not.</p><p> </p><p> Now this is another metagame thing but I was thinking, I wonder if mach was active during the night or not. I mean he was not replaced and we did have two folks on the reserve roster (SF who joined the game and Nick).
