But that can also work the other way around though. Making any scum group quite more formidable, an example was last game. Seeing a great player lead us to victory was a sight to see. Judging from what I saw. The players here might be more inclined to take out the most talkative of players. But you can take my opinion with a grain of salt. Since I only have 1 and a half worth of game experience under my belt.

I would think taking out the most talkative of players would be hurtful to the town. In the last game, weren't they trying to get more talking going on? I mean, maybe if the talking isn't going anywhere, but discussion theoretically yields information eventually.

I don't know how well that will play out in a game of 26 but I guess I am just cautious.

Scum can really gain the upper hand by getting lucky early on in snuffing out power roles during night phases when it's super quiet.

I'm not a big fan of cults either. Can be a real pain in the butt having a trusted townie suddenly be corrupted and I much prefer to be town as much as possible. Looking at the player's list, only mdylan511 has yet to post. So it is good that the majority of the players have at least posted once thus far.

I'm a fan of doing something Day One, and the best way to stoke conversation is normally to vote. When someone's not talking like machine you can either wait or pile on the votes. As there's plenty of conversation outside the push and time left, there's no need to push an actual lynch at this stage. The decision people need to think about now is if machine doesn't come on in the next 12 hours, would you add your vote? I think mine would go on.

As I said I am not a fan of Day One lynching because it means you are going on feelings, nothing more than feelings...sorry about that Johnny Mathis took over there.

I have often made a joke post or a post that was complete throwaway post and people have gotten suspicious of me because of it. I have a hard time offing someone on day one just because we could potentially lose a valuable role or if he were to tell us his role we could end up outing a role that could help us.

I can totally see the other side of the argument as well and I do not think it is wrong to play that way. However, I am not sure I want to play that aggressive right out of the gate when the vote is pretty much taking place on a whim.

Bandwagoning is an easy, easy trap to fall into. Silence doesn't mean guilt, and I've never been entirely on board with "get rid of the useless and/or inactive" anyway. Obvious statement is obvious, but lynching townies only helps the mafia win. And the serial killer, if there is one of those.

It'll be fun to see which players that chose to do nothing today will be out for blood tomorrow. I don't see much changing in this phase, but the future will certainly be interesting. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
