So this is a quick turn around as I was excited to write up the ZEN crossover show and had it waiting.

 

Harry Simonson vs The Brisbane Devil

Devil fills the role of talented jobber with backstage problems for now.

 

DevilShark vs The Affliction

Talented jobbers due to attitude or other uncontrollable reasons are 0-2 tonight.

 

Dumfrey Pinn vs Local Talent

Pinn builds momentum and looks to impress the gullible Richie Fox.

 

The Knights Temple vs Natural Talents

Tough call, but I see Natural Talents being the guys to challenge Tombstone and Boo so I give them the nod here.

 

Spiffy Stan Standish vs COLT

COLT has been building to an undercard feud with Pink Spider while Standish is going to be at the top of the card for the foreseeable future.

 

Not much to say really, you were spot on about all of your predictions and why they won. I think the following card will mix things up a bit, with at least one unpredictable match.

DevilShark VS The Knights Temple VS Warp-Jump

A match with all ZEN originals, I think the team of top of the card talent gets the win. DevilShark were a little bit of a flop in your main event, so I think building them up and keeping them a team can make your tag division a big deal.

 

Pumpkin Jack vs Halloween Knight

Since I end up calling the top two matches of the night in favor of WKA, I think ZEN picks up a few of the filler midcard matches. Halloween Knight is such a stud, and Jack losing to him won't hurt at all.

 

COLT vs Damian Dastardly

I think Damian Dastardly is a guy you know will end up on your roster eventually and has tremendous upside. Besides, his canon finisher is literally just a roll-up. Losing to a sneaky guy like Dastardly won't hurt COLT and will keep it from being a blowout for WKA (which I assume ZEN would push for because they don't want to look like chumps)

 

Harry Simonson & Nathan McKenzie vs Cyanide & Pink Spider

Simonson and McKenzie were the backbone of APW and are the backbone of WKA. They don't lose here.

 

ZEN Master vs WKA King Showcase Match

Shaolin vs Man O’ War

Surprised to see Shaolin be the ZEN Master but it kind of makes sense with a lot of ZEN's upper carders being on exclusive deals with you. I don't see any world where Man O' War outright loses this match, so I'll call him winning but I could see a draw or DQ or some kind of shenanigans happening.

Finally Pumpkin Jack has seen the true light and while he didn't vanquish his arch rival who has apparently turned soft, he knows the darkness that still resides in Halloween Knight. As for Jack I look forward to a huge reign of terror.

This is where most people thought with DevilShark being made of ME talent. But I wanted the reason for the portal to be put over. Initially it was going to be a 4way tag with Tombstone & Boo. However that was too much and I wanted to put over at least one lower card guy.

I agree this in no way doesn't make Jack look weaker, and it helps develop his dark side more.

I plan to only chase him if RAW attempt to sign him, and I feel I have space on my card. As I said I see him and Spiffy very similar in personalities so that is why he didn't sign the initial roster.

Yeah Shaolin is the Number 2 Face behind Halloween Knight. So it is nice to see him get this chance. I agree I thought about a DQ but I feel I use attacks after matches too often so I wanted to give him the straight win. As like a fair trade they get Man O' War for their next event and DevilShark lost.

I agree, it would be something hard to get through, but in my mind I have hopefully rationalised it enough with Man O' War exchanging the loss on ZEN.

<em>Banks and Standish are in a really precarious position on your card. They are by all intents and purposes a tag team, but they are too big for your tag division. If you want them to tag up, they end up in matches like this where they roll over your established teams in the division. They can't fight for the top title since Man O'War has it and Nathan McKenzie isn't a guy they can fight week in week out so they get in matches like this. It may have been mentioned and I missed it but I'd like to see some "why" for why they wouldn't go after the tag titles. At the very least it can be a filler mini-feud for them where they feel the tag division is "beneath" them or something.</em></p><p> </p><p>

They are by all intents and purposes a tag team, but they are too big for your tag division. If you want them to tag up, they end up in matches like this where they roll over your established teams in the division. They can't fight for the top title since Man O'War has it and Nathan McKenzie isn't a guy they can fight week in week out so they get in matches like this. It may have been mentioned and I missed it but I'd like to see some "why" for why they wouldn't go after the tag titles. At the very least it can be a filler mini-feud for them where they feel the tag division is "beneath" them or something.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This is actually been on my mind for awhile. It has never been addressed and honestly the main reason I have failed to address it, is I need strong heels at the top of the card. Have quietly released his tag-team partner actually after more misconduct. However I got a fine for my troubles.

 

I don't think both of the Knights Temple make it, and SubUrban Legend is just the kind of guy you want in it - young, full of star power and athleticism and high risk flying who can put on a big spot and take a big bump in between the methodical wrestling of the vets.

 

I wanted to give one of the guys the rub, and Killer B has just looked nicer overall. Though I agree long term SubUrban is the better prospect.
