The commencement of the Tag-Team tournament led to numerous issues.</p><p> </p><p> Firstly, King Maleitoa as everyone is already aware has been sent to rehab for the next four months (Which he is happy about) for his drug addiction. This effectively hinders and hurts his tag-team partner The Brisbane Devil as he is forced to team up with Lucas Pobb for the tournament. </p><p> </p><p> Secondly, Misery decided to stir up Mitch Y. Bryson our lead commentator and lead into a fight. His team was meant to win the match, but this bothered me that he was causing backstage issues. So along with a Fine he suffered a loss. Both of which have upset him and he has become upset at his own booking.</p><p> </p><p> Third, Cesar Sionis causes trouble backstage and throws a punch at Rob Edwards. This results in him being beaten up by Rob Edwards. Firstly, don't throw a punch if you are going to lose, or just don't at all. So after his punishment he is now upset with me as well.</p><p> </p><p> Oh and Killer B was forced to work through his injury tonight because I had already bought in one fill in team and didn't want to bring another. Meaning it again hurts his tag-team partner but also his team long-term due to not being able to go further in the tournament.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46151" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Even though I have played as various Australian companies in the past, I really do not know their talent well. One I do know is Reggie Tate and that is enough for me to pick him to win here.<p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I love Tate in general, he is a guy I picture as a Nathan McKenzie light at the moment. Honestly, if he didn't have a poor attitude it would be fine. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46151" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>If I look at all four guys on paper' date=' you have Reggie Tate and The Brisbane Devil, two guys who are great but have some ego issues. That leaves Christopher Gerard and Lucas Pobb. Pobb is about as green as anyone and only is in the spot he's in because of Malietoa's departure and his ethnicity, so I give it to Gerard and Tate.[/quote']<p> </p><p> 100% correct about all of this, Lucas Pobb was meant to be the third wheel for Toa Samoa (Formerly Samoan Demolition) and act as the pin eater for the team. Which he is going to continue to do while in the tag-team. It sucks for Brisbane Devil that he has lost King Malietoa as now he is just in a holding pattern until his return.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46151" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The Affliction performed solid in their previous loss' date=' and Bush is a guy I know you aren't high on.[/quote']<p> </p><p> I bought them both in to lose as I don't really like either guys attitude. As good as Black Flash is I hold grudges. Which helped them in this case as having three issues to deal with made me want to punish those involved.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46151" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Cesar is a solid hand if he can keep a cool head backstage' date=' and Gyula IS one of your NBTs. McMiller and Dobberly are great job guys because their role in a stable means they are always "relevant" to some degree[/quote']<p> </p><p> Spot on about this, except that Cesar Sionis was causing backstage drama. I have never thought much about the NBT thing as I haven't looked much into what it does. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46151" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I have a hard time believing they lose in the first round after the match they put on last week because I don't know what direction they could go in next' date=' but they are up against the only team I can point to and see as a "face" team, so who knows.[/quote']<p> </p><p> You are right, they sort of lack a direction but are the biggest face team involved in the story line at the moment. In my long term save he's pretty much capped his stat growth but he has put on a few A rated matches for me and he has had plenty of time in the sun, I hope you come to like him even if he just gets used as a jobber.</p><p> </p><p> I really like that you started in the default database with an Aussie company that starts immediately with TV, I always start micro level so some of the guys you are getting to use (Harry, Lanny, Pinn, Boo) were all pretty much retired or signed to RAW when I was big enough to get them. I think Australia has a ton of great young talent and I hope you can go far with it.</p><p> </p><p> Since you pretty much gutted RAW/ZEN/DIW, I'd be interested to know who they signed to fill in their gaps. Maybe a monthly update? There's a lot of guys who went my whole game unemployed that I hope get a chance on some of their rosters.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nathan McKenzie & ????</strong> vs God's Gift</p><p> <em>I took a look back at your roster to try and figure out who the mystery man might be since I don't think you are signing anyone new... my guess is Suburban Legend since Killer B is injured right now? Either way I think they get the win, I'm believing that the ??? is a big time guy and not a chump.</em></p><p> </p><p> Devilfish wins he is added to King of WKA Match</p><p> <strong>Devilfish</strong> vs Pumpkin Jack</p><p> <em>I think you are giving these two a chance to redeem themselves after their ME flop earlier. I see Devilfish winning this. A triple threat is a good first major defense because you can protect the guy who doesn't get pinned and drag the feud out longer. A guy hurts a lot less losing a triple threat than a singles match.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Natural Talents</strong> vs Black Code</p><p> <em>Bush and Flash got lucky in their first match, but that doesn't continue.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Boo Smithson & Tombstone</strong> vs The Hired Guns</p><p> <em>With how good these two are, I see them heading to the end. These two guys and Natural Talents are a great start to a tag division because they are "teams" but they are teams that started in WKA.</em></p><p> </p><p> Lone Shark wins he is added to King of WKA Match</p><p> <strong>Lone Shark</strong> vs Man O’War</p><p> <em>Why the hell not? Let's make it a ZEN fatal four way. Of the four, I think Lone Shark is the only guy who hasn't disappointed you, so I see him making it into the title match if not Devilfish. He is leaving after this show for now as is Black Flash after signing them for another 1 show appearance. </p><p> </p><p> I am like you and normally only play local Australian companies to work with the indy guys so I dont use many of the more mainstream talents. Marcus Kerr is a favorite of mine and Bryant Hall has always been a stud for me, and Adrian McGhee was a guy I always went after back in 2013. Duke of WKA Championship Match Harry Simonson © vs Dumfrey Pinn Tough call for me. 9 times out of 10 I see Simonson winning this match and retaining, but I think you pull the trigger and get that midcard belt off of Harry so you can shoot him up the card. The only concern is I don't think Pinn's really wrestled any matches where he's had to carry his weight, so I don't know if he's a guy you trust to run with the belt. Alexander Banks vs COLT I don't think you trust COLT yet to strap any rockets to him, Banks gets a solid win so he's not just Standish's partner. Barons of WKA Championship Final Natural Talents vs Boo Smithson & Tombstone From Day 1 these guys have been getting airtime, and I think it was always the plan to give them the gold. Boo and Tombstone are the better guys in the ring but they aren't a "team" yet. Spiffy Stan Standish vs Nathan McKenzie The "team causes DQ with an attack" and "losers jump the winner after" quota has been covered by Pinn and his goons, and McKenzie just winning clean leaves you kind of stuck with where to go. Think Standish steals a win and escapes with his pride as McKenzie fumes. King of WKA Championship Match Man O’War © vs Lone Shark vs Devilfish vs Pumpkin Jack Don't see any reason for him to drop the title yet. I see this title match as a "cleansing" of a sort. You have all of your top ZEN talent facing off, and the only one who REJECTED ZEN and embraced a new self in a new promotion being the one to succeed. Also love McGhee's look I had him way back in my very first Dynasty. I also have a RTG Company in the database as just a spare company at the moment I gave cash to and is set in Australia. Their roster is as follows and have held two shows so far. It is a cleansing of sorts as he rises above people that in the past he wasn't seen to be better than. Although with some question marks surrounding it.</p><p> </p><p> Other Notes coming out of it are Lanny Williams has a Chronic Back injury for the next 3 months which sucks as he was meant to be facing Richie Fox this week, and to continue his Rob Edwards feud. I gave Jack a chance with the entrance and a showcase match with Devilfish. Although their chemistry ruined it he still got involved in the Main Event for the championship and just isn't upto the mark I would want him to be at. I have a story idea for him just not sure how to start it. </p><p> </p><p> I am so disappointed by the Main Event of the last show, heading into it I was still tossing up between Lone Shark and Man O'War winning but stuck with our champion as it just felt like it was too soon for his reign to end and he needed that one big defence as champion. Otherwise he would have looked too weak. The best thing is that Man O'War is performing on the Mic and regularly has the best angle of the show. As previously discussed Lone Shark, Pumpkin Jack were the main candidates to walk away with the title. I couldn't do that to Man O' War though, as he was our inaugural champion so he needed to have that big defence. I actually keep a running tier list on all my talent on who like they should win the majority of matches against people below them.
