Nope, maybe in this universe she has and we're working towards an angle where Judy Bagwell is revealed to be Sarah Taylor's actual mother...

Damn, the dirt sheets got wind of my story plans! Change it all immediately! Brock retains!

<p>AAA Battle Of The Babes 2016</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46371" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Opening Pre-Show Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Simony-Sentinel.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/Dt0GXpV/Simony-Sentinel.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Tracy-Brendon.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/2c5FVh0/Tracy-Brendon.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Simony Sentinel vs Tracy Brendon</em></p><p> </p><p> In all the commotion before the show, I hadn’t even noticed that Simony was backstage. Ms Quine had just brought her in for a one-off appearance to get Tracy on the card, and it was pretty obvious she was just out there to make Tracy look good. That said, Ms Quine likes to experiment on the pre-show, so she stuck Cat with Simony, and they actually made an excellent pairing! That may be something to consider in future…</p><p> </p><p> As for the match itself, Tracy won in a <strong><em>very</em></strong> one-sided 13:02.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-eplus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/Jpdh7qZ/grade-eplus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Pre-Show Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Devils-Daughter.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/JKxrRjJ/Devils-Daughter.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Selina-Svelte.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/JsDZ75t/Selina-Svelte.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Jessica-Bunny.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/7rw7yqH/Jessica-Bunny.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Katherine-Goodlooks.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/cCZxP0J/Katherine-Goodlooks.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Devil’s Daughter & Selina Svelte vs Jessica Bunny & Katherine Goodlooks</em></p><p> </p><p> More experimenting by Ms Quine. I know I said we have big plans for Selina, and a random pairing with Devil’s Daughter on the pre-show might not seem like that, but trust me, Ms Quine and I have a plan! Despite Good Lookin’ Bunny being a much more experienced team, this match was only on the pre-show, so Ms Quine rewarded Selina with a win for re-signing, when she made Katherine submit to a Prawn Armlock after 12:38.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-d.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/nLVKvMZ/grade-d.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Opening Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Ava-Anderson.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/zswgPPJ/Ava-Anderson.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="Christy-Higgins.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/Y2btVCM/Christy-Higgins.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="transparent-TEW.png" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/RhgZjSQ/transparent-TEW.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="transparent-TEW.png" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/RhgZjSQ/transparent-TEW.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="transparent-TEW.png" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/RhgZjSQ/transparent-TEW.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Mary-Beth-Chase.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/sJG40QS/Mary-Beth-Chase.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="Steffi-Chee.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/BHkxnvr/Steffi-Chee.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="transparent-TEW.png" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/RhgZjSQ/transparent-TEW.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Wendy-Anderson.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/qsHrsyf/Wendy-Anderson.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Ava Anderson vs Christy Higgins vs Mary Beth Chase vs Steffi Chee vs Wendy Anderson</em></p><p> </p><p> This 5-way match was booked to serve two purposes: get these five girls on the show, and get Mary over some more. Funny story from the pre-match discussion: Steffi started to complain about Mary winning, until Mary shot her a look that probably made Steffi grateful that looks can’t actually kill, and Steffi backed right down! Not that I blame her, Mary is intimidating, it’s no surprise Ms Quine is trying to put some stock in her!</p><p> </p><p> The match itself was fairly poor, but Mary looked dominant and made Christy tap out to a Boston Crab after 15:28, so mission accomplished, I guess?</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-eplus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/Jpdh7qZ/grade-eplus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Second Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Lady-Liberty.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/WVKLbY2/Lady-Liberty.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Sarah-Taylor.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/frR0q9T/Sarah-Taylor.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Lady Liberty vs Sarah Taylor</em></p><p> </p><p> My match was up next! Just as the referee was about to ring the bell to start the match…</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Ellie-May-Walton.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/pR442nX/Ellie-May-Walton.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Ellie May Walton sprinted to the ring!</em></p><p> </p><p> Ellie hit the ring, then hit Lisa, then hit me! She then proceeded to spend the next few minutes completely demolishing us both, making her look really strong in the process! I was involved in the booking of this match, so obviously I was fine with it, but to Lisa’s credit, she also made Ellie look like an absolute monster in this segment! Maybe there is hope for her yet…</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-e.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/p0Mswpv/grade-e.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Apparently, not everyone backstage was super impressed with Lisa’s performance. Sara did her utmost to make Ellie look strong, bouncing around the ring for the majority of the 13:40 that this match lasted. About ten minutes in, Sara started to come back into it, building some momentum, when Selina ran down to ringside!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Selina-Svelte.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/JsDZ75t/Selina-Svelte.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Told you we had plans for her!</em></p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately, Selina’s attempts to interfere backfired and she hit Ellie by accident, however this just sent Ellie into a rage, which resulted in her beating Sara to a pulp and, ultimately, getting disqualified.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-eplus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/Jpdh7qZ/grade-eplus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>AAA Tag Team & AAA Top Contender’s Championship Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA-Tag.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/FbsfXBf/AAA-Tag.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="AAA-Top-Contender.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/CwNbhqs/AAA-Top-Contender.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="Debbie-Rose.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/JsTPdtc/Debbie-Rose.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Kate-Lilly.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/xM7frWr/Kate-Lilly.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Demelza-Wade.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/M1LPSSp/Demelza-Wade.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Steph-Blake-alt1.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/7kJ0vGP/Steph-Blake-alt1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Debbie Rose © & Kate Lilly © vs Demelza Wade & Steph Blake ©</em></p><p> </p><p> So, to clarify the rules (as we did to the live audience before the entrances for this match): If Demelza and Steph win this match, they’re the new Tag Team Champions; if Steph is pinned or forced to submit, whoever scores the fall out of Debbie and Kate is the new Top Contender’s Champion. With that out of the way, this was a big storytelling match. There were several stories overlapping: Demelza’s reluctance to team with Steph and general confusion as to why Nadia helped her last month; Steph’s utter reluctance to spend any time legally in the ring (if she’s on the apron, she can’t lose her title); and finally Kate’s slight struggle to leave her rule-breaking days in the past, while Debbie utterly thrives as a new fan favourite.</p><p> </p><p> In the end, Steph ditched Demelza when both she and Debbie needed a tag, leaving a fresh Kate to pick up the opportunistic victory and retain the Tag titles.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-d.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/nLVKvMZ/grade-d.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Grudge Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Nadia-Snow.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QNzZYRB/Nadia-Snow.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Suzanne-Brazzle.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/SBhzmXC/Suzanne-Brazzle.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Nadia Snow vs Suzanne Brazzle</em></p><p> </p><p> After Nadia inexplicably cost Suzi her Top Contender’s Championship last month, this was Suzi’s chance at revenge. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t factor Cat into the equation, and Cat did indeed prove to be the difference maker, providing a timely distraction to allow Nadia to pick up the pinfall victory after 18:50.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-cminus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/Vq0Y2Pc/grade-cminus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/LnCczxZ/Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>J-Ro cut a promo before her title defence against Talia.</em></p><p> </p><p> As usual, Joanne absolutely thrived out there, cutting a promo and interacting with the live crowd. She talked about how Talia had needed help to get this shot last month, and guaranteed that, if The Uprising got involved tonight, it wouldn’t make a difference, as she would still walk out with the Femme Fatale Championship around her waist.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-dplus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/PzLDNk1/grade-dplus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>AAA Femme Fatale Championship Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA-Femme-Fatale.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/Kqkb3bH/AAA-Femme-Fatale.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/LnCczxZ/Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Talia-Quinzel.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/gWRWMh9/Talia-Quinzel.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Joanne Rodriguez © vs Talia Quinzel</em></p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately, this match suffered for a couple of reasons. First, they were trying to follow the show-stealer between Nadia and Suzi, who showed great chemistry together. Second, Jo and Talia did not click at all, and neither did Talia and Ellie, who came out together. After struggling through 29:17, the end came when Selina, who was conspicuous by her absence for the majority of the match, came out to try to help Talia and once again messed up, accidentally hitting Talia and sending her straight into a J-Rocker for the pin and the successful defence by J-Ro.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-dminus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/R4D70qB/grade-dminus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Overall Show Rating:</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-dminus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/R4D70qB/grade-dminus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Ms Quine praised Nadia and Suzi’s great performances after the show, and also complimented Joanne’s promo, none of which I think anyone could really object to.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46371" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">AAA Battle Of The Babes 2016 Full Results</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Tracy Brendon def. <p>Sunday, Week 2, October 2016</p><p> </p><p>

As promised, Ms Quine and I met up to discuss the upcoming “Queen Of The Ring” show. It was only one week since I presented the idea for a tournament to her, and since we decided to have the winner receive a brand new title belt, and yet here she came, walking across the coffee shop towards my table, with a bag that clearly contained just that: the Queen of the Ring Championship!</p><p> </p><p>

We discussed several things, with Ms Quine keeping the discussion clear of the bag in her possession. First, we talked about Jaime picking up a victory on NOTBPW’s October Obliteration show, then she let me know that Debbie had officially signed her new contract on Monday. We then discussed the brackets for the tournament, as well as putting in a 6-woman tag between the semi-finals and the final to give the winner of the second semi-final a little rest before their third match of the night.</p><p> </p><p>

Finally, once we had decided how we wanted the tournament to play out, she said the words I’d been waiting for the whole time: “So… you wanna see the belt?”</p><p> </p><p>

Hell yes I did! And I did not regret my decision… it’s a beauty!</p><p> </p><p>

<p>AAA Queen of the Ring 12</p><p> </p><p> As I arrived at the Washington State Gymnasium, it was actually pretty peaceful, other than a few people moaning about Lisa being “selfish,” although no-one really specified why. I figure she’s just got the locker room against her at the moment, so I went and had a quick chat with her, but there was no real need to take her to Ms Quine this time. Suzi and Talia were chatting about selling, with Talia clearly keen to sit under the learning tree of one of AAA’s best as much as possible!</p><p> </p><p> With it all being pretty quiet, I headed straight for the notice board and checked out tonight’s match card…</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46371" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">AAA Queen Of The Ring 12 Card</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> QotR Tournament 1st Round Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Debbie Rose vs Kate Lilly</p><p> </p><p> <strong>QotR Tournament 1st Round Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Demelza Wade vs Sara Marie York</p><p> </p><p> <strong>QotR Tournament 1st Round Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Nadia Snow vs Suzanne Brazzle</p><p> </p><p> <strong>QotR Tournament 1st Round Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Joanne Rodriguez vs Steph Blake</p><p> </p><p> <strong>QotR Semi-Final Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Debbie Rose/Kate Lilly vs Demelza Wade/Sara Marie York</p><p> </p><p> <strong>QotR Semi-Final Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Nadia Snow/Suzanne Brazzle vs Joanne Rodriguez/Steph Blake</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Cool The Crowd Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Ellie May Walton, Selina Svelte & Talia Quinzel vs Jessica Bunny, Katherine Goodlooks & Sandra Shine</p><p> </p><p> <strong>QotR Final</strong></p><p> </p><p> Debbie Rose/Kate Lilly/Demelza Wade/Sara Marie York vs Nadia Snow/Suzanne Brazzle/Joanne Rodriguez/Steph Blake</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> So, as was clearly the plan last month, Lisa and I are off the show this month to convince people of the ferocity of Ellie’s attack last month. Interestingly, she’s in a match with Jessica, who criticised Lisa’s selling last month, so we’ll see how it’s done, I guess!</p>

<em>Overall Tournament Comments: Don't see J-Ro winning the whole tournament so see her losing in the Semi Finals to eventual winner Nadia Snow but the more I write about this the less confident I am about it. The other way would be maybe have Wade beat J-Ro in the final. The other matches were booked around this idea. Gave Rose the win as she seems to have taken to being a babyface better than Lily. </em></p>

I guess partnering up so often and for so long really helped Debbie and Kate out there, as they showed great in-ring chemistry, and did a good job of getting the crowd invested, which is what the opening match is usually tasked with.</p><p> </p><p> After a hugely entertaining back-and-forth 12:58, Debbie picked up the pinfall victory with her signature Thorn Cutter.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-d.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/nLVKvMZ/grade-d.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Queen Of The Ring Tournament 1st Round Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Demelza-Wade.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/M1LPSSp/Demelza-Wade.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Sara-Marie-York.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/W2tkq5N/Sara-Marie-York.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Demelza Wade (w/ Cat Jemson) vs Sara Marie York</em></p><p> </p><p> This match was all about telling a story in the ring: the story of Demelza expecting Nadia to come out and help her, and it not happening. Cat tried to get involved a couple of times, but Demelza kept telling her to stay out of it, and that she wanted to know where Nadia was. Eventually, with Demelza’s back turned, Cat distracted Sara just long enough for Demelza to hit a Super Kick for the pinfall win after 14:27. </p><p> </p><p> Demelza didn’t even celebrate the victory, instead opting to head straight to the back to find Nadia…</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-d.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/nLVKvMZ/grade-d.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Queen Of The Ring Tournament 1st Round Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Nadia-Snow.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QNzZYRB/Nadia-Snow.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Suzanne-Brazzle.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/SBhzmXC/Suzanne-Brazzle.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Nadia Snow vs Suzanne Brazzle</em></p><p> </p><p> Demelza didn’t have to look far, because when she got to the top of the entranceway, Nadia came through the curtain for her match. Demelza stared at her, incredulous, but Nadia just shrugged and could be lip-read saying “sorry, I had to prepare for my match.” Demelza shook her head and stormed backstage, with Cat chasing after her trying to calm her down.</p><p> </p><p> The match itself was the best of the night so far, but not quite as good as their match last month. Nadia and Suzi have great chemistry with each other and you could tell they were really trying to steal the show, which did lead to a slight mishap where Nadia seemed to hurt Suzi’s elbow a little bit, which had a lot of people backstage criticising Nadia, although I personally thought it was just a timing error that was bound to happen with how hard the girls were pushing for a show-stealing performance.</p><p> </p><p> Nadia being on her own was an interesting development, at least until the end of the match came and Steph Blake came out to distract Suzi and allow Nadia to pick up the win after 14:49! That’s twice in three months that Nadia and Steph had helped each other pick up victories over Suzi, and three successive months that Nadia could be considered as having “got one over on” Suzi, and our story was building nicely!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-dplus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/PzLDNk1/grade-dplus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Queen Of The Ring Tournament 1st Round Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/LnCczxZ/Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Steph-Blake-alt1.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/7kJ0vGP/Steph-Blake-alt1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Joanne Rodriguez vs Steph Blake</em></p><p> </p><p> This match, which featured out Femme Fatale Champion facing our Top Contender’s Champion in a non-title match, was a little slow for my liking. It felt like the girls were slowly building to a big finish, but the finish came suddenly after 11:11 when Suzi ran out to the ring, bandaged up and looking for revenge on Steph! Steph high-tailed it out of the ring and chose to get counted out rather than have to face the wrath of Suzanne Brazzle!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-d.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/nLVKvMZ/grade-d.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Steph-Blake-alt1.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/7kJ0vGP/Steph-Blake-alt1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Suzanne-Brazzle.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/SBhzmXC/Suzanne-Brazzle.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>A cameraman followed Suzi up the ramp and to the back...</em></p><p> </p><p> As she marched round a corner, she spotted Steph and took off at a sprint! Eventually, that help came… but was botched! Demelza was literally screaming at the entranceway for Nadia to come out, which eventually she did, screaming back that she was preparing her own semi-final! Suddenly, Debbie hit a Thorn Cutter for the pin, and Nadia had accidentally cost Demelza the match after 15:22!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-dminus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/R4D70qB/grade-dminus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Queen Of The Ring Tournament Semi-Final Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/LnCczxZ/Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QrWhQPh/vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Nadia-Snow.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/QNzZYRB/Nadia-Snow.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Joanne Rodriguez vs Nadia Snow</em></p><p> </p><p> J-Ro’s Femme Fatale Championship was not on the line in this match, either, but that didn’t stop these two from going at it like it was! It seemed like Ellie and Talia were questioning Selina about her recent actions. By contract, Jessica, Katherine and Sandra (who was just in for a one-time appearance) came out looking like a like-minded, cohesive unit! That said, despite their apparent friction, once the bell rang The Uprising went to work, with Ellie looking especially strong (and Jessica living up to her words from last month and “selling” like crazy for her), eventually picking up the win after 10:39 when Selina tagged herself in when Ellie was destroying Sandra and locked in the Prawn Armlock for an easy submission win.</p><p> </p><p> Ellie and Talia didn’t look impressed with Selina and left the ring without her after the match.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="grade-eplus.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/Jpdh7qZ/grade-eplus.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AAA.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/w6CrwTP/AAA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/LnCczxZ/Joanne-Rodriguez.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Sara-Marie-York.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/W2tkq5N/Sara-Marie-York.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Joanne Rodriguez & Sara Marie York appeared on the stage!</em></p><p> </p><p> J-Ro and Sara came face-to-face with Ellie and Talia and, just as it looked like the two teams were about to come to blows, Ellie and Talia stepped aside and motioned Joanne and Sara to the ring! <p>Week 1, November 2016</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Wednesday</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

As had become traditional for me in recent months, the morning after one of our shows, I checked the internet for how it had been received. This time, however, a headline caught my eye…</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="Suzanne-Brazzle-injured.png" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/fqsRZNr/Suzanne-Brazzle-injured.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p>

<em>Oh no...</em></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

I had hoped that Suzi’s injury wasn’t so bad, and while I still didn’t blame Nadia, this was still terrible news. I had to speak to Ms Quine…</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sunday</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

I walked into our regular coffee shop and, as usual, Ms Quine was already there, two drinks on the table. I could get used to this!</p><p> </p><p>

“Hi Sarah! How are you?”</p><p> </p><p>

“I’m okay, just concerned about Suzi, how are you?”</p><p> </p><p>

“I’m good! It’s unfortunate Suzi got hurt, but we have to keep pushing forward, don’t we? So, what’s the next step of our master plan?”</p><p> </p><p>

Wait, she was asking me? Since when do I make the decisions around here?</p><p> </p><p>

“Ummm… well we could either do Nadia vs Joanne for the title, with the story being Nadia won the tournament and beat Joanne in the semi-finals, or we could team up Sara and Joanne against Nadia and Selina to build on all of those issues at once?”</p><p> </p><p>

“I like both of those ideas, so I’ll tell you what. Why don’t we do the title match next month, as Deadlier Than The Male is a slightly above-average show for us, then we can use that match to build into a tag match on the first show of 2017!”</p><p> </p><p>

“That sounds perfect! Now, what do we do with Steph and Kate & Debbie? If this is a big show, we should put all the titles on the line, right?”</p><p> </p><p>

“Well, Kate & Debbie had their best match against Selina & Ellie, so maybe we could do that match again? We could definitely use it to advance the bigger picture, too… as for Steph, I think I know who I’d like to have her defend against...”</p><p> </p><p>

Ms Quine grabbed a napkin, and a pen from her bag. Apparently, this was a big secret that she didn’t want anyone overhearing… I must say, I wasn’t expecting the name she wrote down!</p><p> </p><p>

“Her?! Will she even be ready?”</p><p> </p><p>

“Definitely. And with the bad news circulating the internet about Suzi, it’ll give our fans something big to cheer for. We shouldn’t pre-announce it, though, maybe do it as an open challenge?”</p><p> </p><p>

“Okay, I love that. I hate to ask this, but what about me? Are we any closer to that plan?”</p><p> </p><p>

“I’m still looking into that situation, don’t worry. As soon as I’ve got anything suitable, you’ll be the first to know!”</p><p> </p><p>

We chatted about a few smaller details after that, finished our coffee, and went our separate ways. This last show of the year was shaping up to be something special!</p>

Catherine-Quine-phone-call.jpg

Uh-oh...

H-hello?

Sarah, stop being so nervous! Not every call is going to be bad news, in fact this one is definitely good news!

Sorry, force of habit! So, what’s the good news?

I just got done talking to Jessica Bunny, and we’ve signed a new four year contract! Oh, and it’s slightly cheaper than the previous one, so double win!

Oh! That’s great! I really like Jessica!… and… ummm… hooray for saved money!

Haha, it’s okay Sarah, I get that the business side of things doesn’t come naturally to you. That’s why I’m here!

Thanks! By the way, isn’t Cat’s contract coming up about the same time Jessica’s is… or was?

Wow, you have been paying attention! I’m impressed! Yes, her contract is up soon, we’ll talk about that more after the next show, okay?

Damn, that didn’t sound good…

Yeah, no problem. See you there!
