Thanks Historian! I really appreciate your feedback :)

I love tournaments so much and i really like the aspect about them. They are no huge favourites, everybody can beat everybody - I love that! Torii just lost the titlematch against Funakoshi, so another loss don't hurt that much. You can build him up for any future singles match real fast and you've got a rematch in the pipeline, perfect to me.

8. White Canvas Trophy 2016 – Round 1: Morimasa Kato def. Bulldozer Brandon Smith (14m33s) with a Choke Sleeper [72]

- Veteran Hidekazu Ozawa came short in his fight with Goemon Komiya, the last minute replacement for injured Hitomaro Suzuki. Komiya was faster and stronger than Ozawa, that was the key to his victory.

- In a match between two friends there are no real winners. Fujio Narahashi may won the contest of the two OWARI guys, both men showed a lot to the fans and we can expect a great future either in tag team action or singles action.

- Six months after their first encounter, Kazuchika Nagai got his win back. "Tornado" lost to Yanagita during the first day of the Saikyou Warrior Festival back in March. Yanagita fought like a pitbull, but finally got caught with a Lariat following a Nagai Fireball.

- Morimasa Kato is unstoppable at the moment. The former INSPIRE men lost in Aichi three months ago to Smith. The Bulldozer went on to fight Funakoshi for the WCG World championship, while Kato had to grapple with other "lower" guys. Katos determination was on point when he hits a Knee Strike into Smiths Neck and choked him out with his Sleeper to advance.

8. White Canvas Trophy 2016 – Round 2: BCG.png Funakoshi def. Hirokichi Yoemon (13m36s) with a Butterfly Backbreaker [80]

- Title challenge alert! After pinning Konoe, Kuemon Hotta challenged the two tag team champions to a tag team title match.

- It was a intense battle between two strong fighter. It's personal for Sarumara, he invited Razan to join "White Justice" to fight frequently against the Black Terror Unit. Okamoto refused and said that he would love to create his own team, an insult in Sarumaras eyes. "The Armlock Wizard" tried to damage Okamotos arm and nearly got the win after a nasty looking Armbar. "The Dreamcatcher" was unable to hit his Brainbuster Suplex again. He lands with a Lariat and finished Sarumara with the Senzai Ishiki Knee Strike. After the match Okamoto sticked his hand out for a handshake, but Sarumara refused it.

- Yoemons climb to the final is over. WCG World Champion Funakoshi was a level above Hirokichi Yoemon, got the pinfall victory with the Butterfly Backbreaker. Yoemon did what he does best: Strong forearms, kicks and brutal headbutts. Funakoshi was overpowered, Yoemon was enthuastic since he pinned Funakoshis stablemate Torii. The Champ hits a Forearm combination to weakened Yoemon and finally locked in his Backbreaker.</div></div>

7. White Canvas Trophy 2016 – Round 2: Morimasa Kato def. Kazuchika Nagai (17m43s) with a Choke Sleeper [65]

- He may be know for his tag team matches but Fujio Narahashi stunned the crowd in Aichi with his win over Goemon Komiya. The one half of OWARI hits his devastating Lariat to advance to the semi finals.

- What would you do if some bully injured your pal? Right you would f*ck him up, and that's what Nagai did. "Tornado" was led by his emotions and that was Katos key to victory, as Nagai was onfocused got caught with a Knee Strike into the neck, Choke Sleeper let Nagai tapped.</div></div>

- Are you into a beefy heavyweight clash? So you'll love Narahashi against Kato. The two men slapped, hits forearms, headbutts and hits other limbs to each other. Narahashis fire was unbelievable as he hits a German Suplex and nearly got the victory. However Narahashis train was derailed by Kato as the former INSPIRE fighter hits a Lariat on Fujio and let him tap.</p><p> </p><p>

- We were looking for Morimasa Katos opponent in the finals and we got one after over twenty minutes. It was intense as Razan Okamoto has never beat Funakoshi before, so the champion was overconfident. When we got into the closing stretch Funakoshis Butterfly Backbreaker was countered by the "Dreamcatcher" into a pinfall for two. Immediatly Okamoto scored with his Senzai Ishiki Knee Strike but also only for two. His Brainbuster Suplex was the diffenrence maker and Okamoto finally got his first ever victory over Funakoshi.</div></div></p>

Morimasa Kato: "This is just the beginning. I said it before i came to WCG to win titles and tournaments. This is just the beginning. I'm coming for the big belt, dethroning a stud like Funakoshi will be a masterpiece."

Razan Okamoto: "I don't know what to say. I'm dissapointed in myself, but i have to admit that Morimasa [Kato] was the better man tonight. Please keep in mind that i beat Funakoshi in the semis, keep it in mind. "

Bunrakuken Torii: "What was that all about old man, huh? You were lucky in Tokyo, lucky!!"

Hirokichi Yoemon: "I'm dedicated myself to build up the youth of White Canvas Grappling, and i'll do that every day of the week, but why not challenging him for that title? I beat him in Tokyo, and maybe i'm the first one to steal a title from them [b.T.U.]."

Q: Mr. Okamoto, you called us for this interview. What's the matter?

Okamoto: I told the fans before that i wanted to have my own group of men. That's why i refused Sarumaras invite, and i feel great. I'm here with honest, hard working and talented guys. Kiyotaka impressed me so much the last two tours and he recently teamed with Miyake at the finale of the White Canvas Trophy. And man, Motoyuki is an uncut diamond. His mentor Ozawa-san did a great job so far.

Q: So Hidekazu Ozawa and Kuemon Hotta are the more experienced backbone of your group?

O: Yes indeed. You can't win a thing without experience men who fought real wars out there. We want to change the face of White Canvas Grappling to our favor. We all have the dream to be the best WCG has to offer, to win championships! I'm the Dreamcatcher and xDREAM is going to be "ichiban"!

Big press conference on this morning. WCG president Junnosoku Fukazawa announced the upcoming tour shows for the year of 2016. First we're going into the Exciting Battle Tour with big matches like Funakoshi versus White Canvas Trophy winner Morimasa Kato, Bunrakuken Torii against Hirokichi Yoemon for the BCG Championship and Rokuemon Matsushita & Taheiji Konoe have to defend their belts against Hidekazu Ozawa and Kuemon Hotta.

Furthermore the Strong-1 (Saikyou) Tag League kicks off on the 30th of October in Saitama and will be a 12-team league, six teams in two blocks. There are not confirmed teams, all blocks and teams will be announced on the final day of the Exciting Battle tour.

After Tag League the WCG roster will have a little break before heading on the road to Anniversary. On the 17th & 18th White Canvas Grappling will held two shows at the Doshisha Athletic Center before going to Kanagawa Sports Field in January. The special thing about the Shows "Sould" and "Strong" is that two "title eliminator" matches are going to happen. The two winners of those matches will meet at Anniversary to determinate the first ever White Canvas National champion.

- Just like in Tokyo a month ago Yoemon did not back down! But Torii was smarter today when Yoemon did a Japanese Leg Roll Clutch Hold, just like last month, and almost got another win over Torii. - Revenge for the Black Terror Unit! After suffering two pinfall losses over the tour they finally bounced back with their second title defense. Taheiji Konoe won with a Cradle DDT on Hidekazu. BCG.png Funakoshi def. Morimasa Kato (21m26s) with a Butterfly Backbreaker [83] (5th Defence)

- Another V in the books. Funakoshi and Kato had the best match in WCG history, no doubt about it. Both men worked hard to get their respective opponents down. Katos submissions had Funakoshi on the edge to losing his title, a Choke Sleeper nearly cutt of Funakoshis air, but he was able to escape via the ropes.

After a Forearm battle, Katos Lariat was ducked and countered by a Lariat of the champ to finally hit the Butterfly Backbreaker...but only for two! The second one was successful.

<details><summary>http://shuyaku.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/regions.png</summary></summary>

.. "The Dreamcatcher" arrived, took a microfon and confronted Funakoshi with his loss during White Canvas Trophy. Okamoto said that he's going to challenge for the title at the Anniversary show in January because there is no better time than to liberate WCG from Funakoshi.

RazanOkamoto.png

The Champion accepted, immediately Okamoto "met" an old friend. Yorrie Ippitsusai came down to the ring and attacked the next challenger, but Okamotos xDREAM friends made the save.
