<div style="text-align:justify;"></span><span style="font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-size:10px;">They literally can't beat them! Hurt are the new WCG Tag Team Champions by submitting Kita on their seventh defense. Robinson took major damage in the match when OWARI went bezerk, just like in the last weeks, showing a different personality. <div style="text-align:justify;"></span><span style="font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-size:10px;">The most brutal fight on the night. Toshusai and Sarumara simply don't like each other - They brawled through the crowd, outside and inside the ring. Toshusai went bloody when Sarumara went for disgustings headbutts, which took both men down. However the newly signed Toshusai nailed the Shock Treatment to win the match. Despite losing the match the crowd was behind "their" man Sarumara throughout the match.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:georgia;">

<div style="text-align:justify;"></span><span style="font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-size:10px;">Gauge's reign of terror is finally a thing of the past. <div style="text-align:justify;"></span><span style="font-family:georgia;"><span style="font-size:10px;">Contrary to their last match, Champion Morimasa Kato wasn't accompanied by any of his allies. So it was pretty clear that the "Killing Machine" trusted his Choke Sleeper to overcome Okamoto once more. Kato's main target was Okamoto's neck to prepare for his Choke Sleeper, however "Dreamcatcher" was prepared for most of the attacks due to his better than ever ring awarness. When Kato finally locked in his Sleeper, Razan used the ropes to bounce of them and cut down Kato. It was the first time in WCG history that someone escaped the Choke Sleeper. Okamoto took advantage, hits two beautiful elbows followed by his Knee Strike and the Brainbuster to become the first two time champion.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:georgia;">

Good show, Razan is the guy to finally break out of the Choke Sleeper! Now he's champion and I'm wondering how Kato will react to not only losing his title but his unstoppable Choke Sleeper is now not unstoppable.

Greg Gauge's focus on bending the rules didn't get him to the winner's circle this time. Maybe if he focused on actually wrestling instead of cheating then maybe he could've beat Torri.

2. Mercury, Silver Tiger & Japanese Phoenix def. XDREAM (Motty Kuroda, Rob Reynolds & Tetsuji Nishimoto) in 11m25s when Tiger used a Tiger Driver on Kuroda [60]

3. xDREAM (Kiyotaka, Motoyuki Miyake & Kuemon Hotta) def. Kenka (Kinji Akamatsu, Maro Shimizu & Omezo Shikitei) in 13m03s when Miyake used a PK on Akamatsu [51]

5. White Justice (Kimitada Yanagita & Sotatsu Sarumara) def. Nobuhiko Serizawa & Tadakuni Toshusai in 14m53s when Sarumara used a Mounted Arm Lock on Serizawa [54]

6. Ray Snow, Yoshinaka Taku, Hitomaro Suzuki & Bunrakuken Torii def. Kenka (Solar II, Naozane Goto, Gonnohyoe Kada & Morimasa Kato) in 13m22 when Suzuki used a Suzuki Lock on Solar [65]

7. xDREAM (Ricky Turner, Kazuhiko Nakao & Razan Okamoto) def. Rogue Squad (Logan Diaz, Animal Harker & Brandon Smith) in 16m18s when Okamoto used a Brainbuster Suplex on Diaz [65]

- The brand new WCG World Heavyweight Champion may be victorious in today's main event, but he couldn't celebrate it for long. A big guy came down to the ring, pointed to Okamoto's title and made his intensions pretty clear. WCG announcer Ryuzaburo Sugiyama recognized him before he revealed himself as Findlay O'Farraday. The former BCG wrestler seemed unaffiliated for now, while his BCG tag buddy Brandon Smith gawked from the curtain.

- Sotatsu Sarumara and Toshusai had some moments in their tag bout, however it was Nobuhiko Serizawa who ate the loss for his team. Instead more importantly were the scenes afterwards. Sarumara and Yanagita were beaten down by Toshusai, Serizawa and two men who made their way to the squared circle: Zeshin Makioka, who competed in the last S-1 Festival, and former B.T.U. stalwart Taheiji Konoe! With the help of his three allies, Toshusai made Sarumara bloody! Tadakuni Toshusai announced his new group as "Shokka-gun" - What are his intensions?

- With their victory over the new Tag champs, Pavel Vanzycha & Sterling Whitlock challenged Hurt to a titlematch. In addition Remus and Mäkinen are challenging Kiyaru & Scorpion also to a title bout.

- Shikitei and Miyake continued to pour forearms to each other's faces, which lead finally to a singles match challenge: Miyake said that he's going to break Shikitei's face with his Penalty Kick!

- After his winning pinfall, Silver Tiger celebrated with his teammates until he grabbed a microfon. The crowd seemed surprised when the mexican asked Japanese Phoenix for a titlematch, which the second time WCG Jr. Heavyweight champion accepted.

- Four young boys got a sendoff in front of a packed Saitama crowd. Hirokichi Yoemon, Headcoach of the Dojo, seemed pleased with his four students performance today.

Love it too. It can be a bit tricky when your young boy reached a specific pop but it will work. Katou and Matsumoto were send to an development group in TEW16, so i could simulate that they went on excursion:D

I'm not a fan of breaking kayfabe in my diaries, but i can say that BCG died in TEW16. So thats why i said former BCG wrestler, Findlay is technically a freelancer at the moment. Who know's what he will do here at WCG:p

Eliminations in that order: Serizawa, Yanagita, Mizoguchi, Konoe, Snow, Makioka, Sarumara

- The Shokka-gun are victorious in their very first match. In a match with elimination rules leader Tadakuni Toshusai stand tall when he threw Sarumara over the top rope at last.

- Gonnohyoe Kada pinned Hirokichi Yoemon and challenged WCG Intercontinental Champion Bunrakuken Torii to a titlematch. "Machine Gun" accepted!

- What a hero. Immediatly after Smith pinned Griffin, Novak and Harker attacked Morioka in brutal fashion just to be saved by Captain White Canvas, who ran down the aisle to support the Hontai member.

<div style="text-align:justify;">Bad blood is still boilin'! Tadakuni Toshusai is Sarumara's biggest enemy yet and this whole war brings out a new mean person out of Sotatsu Sarumara. He's obsessed with Tadakuni and his minions, he nearly broke Serizawa's arm and had to be stopped by his best friend Yanagita.

<div style="text-align:justify;">It was all about Taku and Okamoto you may think? Wrong! The Junior's got pretty excited in this match that eventually lead to a challenge made by Stealth Z to his opponent Tetsuji Nishimoto. The masked man challenged Reynolds and Nishimoto to a match in Sapporo at the tour finale! And yea, Okamoto and Taku got pretty excited too.

WCG Junior Heavyweight Championship

Jap-Pheonix.pnghttp://shuyaku.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/red60.pngsilvertiger.png

<div style="text-align:justify;">It was a friendly challenge by the mexican Silver Tiger, it wasn't a surprise that both competitor showed respect before the match. During the match the respect moved aside pretty much the whole time. Tiger used some serious moves to overcome Phoenix, but eventually Phoenix made the right move to hurt Tiger's vision and finally to beat him with the Phoenix Splash.

<div style="text-align:justify;">You think when you're beating one of the best tag teams in Japan you are able to overcome any team that step in your way. But that isn't the case! In their very first defense the obvious weight and height issues from Billy Robinson are too much for the natural Junior Heavyweight, after receiving another devastating beating Pavel Vanzycha cranked Robinson's limbs to get the job done.

COMMENTS

Pavel Vanzycha: "Last year at EXPLOSION i failed to win the tag titles alongside Harker. This year we won the titles. I think Sterling and i are a pretty good team, huh? I don't know who can stop us at the moment."

Japanese Phoenix: "Tiger was a good opponent. I got chills man, he's a good wrestler and i appreciate his efforts. However he failed to capture this beauty. We're right upon S-1 Festival season, which is a boring time for us Junior Heavyweights. We should get a season, too. I may have to ask Hidekazu-san (Junior Heavyweight Talent Relations), i mean it was at EXPLOSION one year ago when Juniors were introduced to WCG."

Tadakuni Toshusai: "Sarumara you b*stard, you are embarassing. You are a fony, a hypocrite. I don't know what to say about you skinny as*.. stop, let me say one thing to you, okay? You are done."

Billy Robinson: "I just said to Nigel that we'd a pretty good run together, huh? But i'm here to speak to the fans and you guys so i'm dropping the bomb: We're done. I think it's time to move on, i'll compete in the Junior's for now on. It's my natural fit, i love Nigel, it's not a bad breakup."

I'm guessing The Hurt weren't living up to their 2016 ratings as a team, which not only led to their loss but their split. Robinson going to the Junior division could be interesting, we may get him winning the Junior Heavyweight Title before years end.

I liked Phoenix's bid to get an S-1 Festival for the Juniors, as you see from my PGHW dynasty I agree Juniors need equal treatment to heavyweights :).
