Just a few days removed from a gruelling No Holds Barred Street Fight with Samoa Joe at WCW SuperBrawl, Seth Rollins did the unthinkable and defeated Joe, AJ Styles and The Velveteen Dream to become the new number one contender for the WCW World Championship. The Architect made his way to the ring this week and directly addressed the reigning Champion, Drew McIntyre and in the process revealed that he would be challenging for the big gold belt in just two weeks on WCW Nitro. Explaining why he felt it was his calling to capture the WCW World Championship, Rollins declared that the support he has received from the WCW Universe has been overwhelming, and he's not just going to do it for himself, but for them. "I have fought through thick and thin to earn my place at the top" he stated, "and now's my chance to top it all off". The former World Champion promised that he would fight to the end to add the prestigious title to his resume, whether Drew McIntyre liked it or not. The Sinister Scot will be in action in tonight's main event against the former Champion, AJ Styles, and you have to know that Seth Rollins will be watching intently.</div>

The Undisputed ERA</b></div>

Shane McMahon's arrival as Ric Flair's temporary replacement didn't just shake up the WCW World Championship picture, but also left a sour taste in the mouths of The Undisputed ERA. Not only did he force Adam Cole to defend his United States Championship tonight, but he also kept his allies busy, informing them that they would take on Cruiserweight Champion, Ali and The War Raiders in Six-Man Tag Team action. And unluckily for them, it didn't go their way. The high-flying Ali was able to secure the victory over Roderick Strong with an 054 Splash as Hanson and Rowe kept O'Reilly and Fish at bay on the outside. With this win, no doubt Ali has solidified his position as the leader of the cruiserweight division, but also, perhaps The War Raiders have landed themselves an opportunity for the WCW Tag Team Championships in the near future? Who knows? Maybe Shane McMahon will provide the answers.</div>

His shocking return at WCW SuperBrawl raised the question - is Sting back for good? Well, he's certainly back for now at least, accepting the challenge laid out by The Living Truth last week for a return bout tonight. Will Sting be able to put an end to Elias' tune, or will Elias play The Icon's swansong for the last time?</div>

Last week, EC3 came to WCW Nitro with one goal - to win. Refusing to sit in the shadows any longer, he was able to defeat R-Truth with relative ease, showing off a more focused and aggressive offence. The Top 1% picked up yet another victory this week, taking down the luchadore, Sin Cara with his One Percenter. Another win in the bag, EC3 seems to be getting his career back on track. What is next for the young superstar on WCW Nitro?</div>

Ricochet walked out with the privilege of being the number one contender for the United States Championship, meaning that Andrade Almas and Shinsuke Nakamura came up short. But the show must go on, and both men looked to redeem their loss against one another. The King of Strong Style used his unique brand of offence to keep Almas out of the skies and on the canvas, but when Zelina Vega grabbed Nakamura's leg as he measured for the Kinshasa, this opened up the opportunity for Almas to strike, delivering a huge superkick and following it up with a Hammerlock DDT, spiking The Rockstar in the center of the ring and securing the victory. The self-proclaimed "Pride of Mexico" celebrated his win alongside Vega as they retreated up the aisle, leaving Nakamura to regroup. Vega continues to be Almas' ace in the hole, but for how long can she help him succeed before someone evens the odds?</div>

Since the beginning of the New Era, The Velveteen Dream has been nothing short of trouble, and following his victory over The Nature Boy, Ric Flair at WCW SuperBrawl, has become even more unbearable. The flamboyant superstar burst into the office of Shane McMahon tonight to not ask, but demand another opportunity to challenge for the WCW World Championship, blaming AJ Styles for his loss last week as The Phenomenal One became out of control. The Prodigal Son took a step back to think about his demand, only to inform The Dream that the bout ended fair and square, and that Seth Rollins will be the number one contender no matter what. This didn't sit well with The Velveteen Dream who threatened Shane McMahon, citing what he did to WCW General Manager, Ric Flair just a couple of weeks ago. McMahon got in the face of The Dream and told him that he wouldn't threaten him if he knows what's good for him. The Dream simply smirked and brushed Shane's shoulder, telling him "Think it over" before leaving.</div>

<img src="https://i.imgur.com/ehTpwu7.png"><div style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Asuka def. Lacey Evans via countout</b></div>

The Lady of WCW may have bitten off more than she can chew by crossing Asuka and her friend, Kairi Sane. The Sassy Southern Belle went into action against The Empress of Tomorrow, but when things didn't appear to be going her way, she fled from the ring and refused to return. Asuka was about to apply her signature Asuka Lock, only for Evans to squirm out of the hold and rush up the aisle, waving her hands despite the officials orders to get back in the ring. The Lady was able to escape The Empress' clutches tonight, as she clearly wasn't ready for Asuka. But for how long can she run before the former Women's Champion avenges Lacey's actions on her best friend, Kairi Sane?</div>

When his SuperBrawl performance was crashed by the legendary Sting, you would have assumed that Elias would shy away from disrespecting WCW, but it continued. The Living Truth even went as far as to challenge the returning legend to a match, and The Icon accepted. Returning to action for the first time in years, Sting stepped through the ropes and went head-to-head with The Sinister Songsmith, proving that he didn't have quite as much ring rust as Elias may have expected. The Vigilante delivered his signature Scorpion Death Drop to his adversary, followed up by a Scorpion Death Lock to seal the deal and force Elias into submission. The Icon had a successful return to action, and looked as good as ever in doing so. What lies ahead for Sting now that he is back on home turf? Could there be one more World Championship run in the Hall of Famer?</div>

The Phenomenal One may have come up short last week, but he still gets the opportunity to avenge his loss at WCW SuperBrawl with a non-title rematch against the WCW World Champion, Drew McIntyre in tonight's huge main event. Can Styles redeem himself with a victory over The Sinister Scot, or will McIntyre once again stand tall over his Phenomenal foe?</div>

United States Champion Adam Cole via disqualification (Title retained)</b></div>

Wherever The Undisputed ERA go, chaos usually follows. Tonight was no different as Adam Cole defended his United States Championship as per Shane McMahon's announcement last week, against the man who won the 8-Man Battle Royal for the right to be number one contender - Ricochet. The One and Only came within seconds of becoming the new Champ after hitting Cole with his incredible 630 Senton, but with alarm bells ringing in their heads, the rest of Undisputed hit the ring and attacked the challenger, forcing the official to call for the bell. Cole, Strong, Fish and O'Reilly unleashed an assault on Ricochet to the dismay of the WCW Universe, but the cavalry soon arrived in the form of The War Raiders and the Cruiserweight Champion, Ali. The odds were evened and all eight men engaged in an all-out brawl that had the crowd on their feet. All hell had broken loose, and officials flooded the ringside area to try and contain the carnage. The Undisputed ERA have now been matched man-for-man, and it may be time for them to get their just desserts.</div>

<img src="https://i.imgur.com/TktIs50.png"><div style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Samoa Joe destroys Lucha House Party in a rage-fuelled attack</b></div>

As the Lucha House Party were awaiting the arrival of their opponents for a scheduled six-man contest, they were confused to instead see the arrival of one Samoa Joe. With a foul expression on his face, he stormed to the ring and immediately began throwing the three luchadores around the ring with no explanation. The Destroyer - clearly infuriated by his loss in last week's main event - laid waste to Lince Dorado with a sickening powerbomb before launching him over the ropes. Gran Metalik tried to fight back on behalf of his allies, but also suffered a beating, signed off with a Muscle Buster into the canvas. Finally, Kalisto sprung from the top rope and had The Samoan Submission Machine reeling, but after missing a high-flying dive, Joe applied the Coquina Clutch and put Kalisto to sleep. The Destroyer stood tall over the carnage and screamed "I'm the toughest SOB around here!" before taking his leave to boos from the WCW Universe. Message received loud and clear - Samoa Joe is not happy at all.</div>

It's been two weeks since Ric Flair lost to The Velveteen Dream at WCW SuperBrawl. Two weeks since The Nature Boy attended WCW Nitro as General Manager. Next week, the legend returns to office, and it's sure to be an exciting night as the 16-time World Champion exclusively revealed via WCW.com that he had big plans for the future of Nitro. What will Naitch have in store for the explosive brand when he makes his official return in just one week's time?</div>

<img src="https://i.imgur.com/OuyqzzF.png"><div style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>WCW World Champion Drew McIntyre def. AJ Styles</b></div>

A highly anticipated rematch, Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles went toe-to-toe for the first time since their epic clash at WCW SuperBrawl just two weeks ago. This non-title bout thrilled the WCW Universe as The Phenomenal One got his chance to get his hands on the man that arguably stole the WCW World Championship from him thanks to some questionable tactics and interference at the pay-per-view. The battle went back and forth until Styles was about to hit McIntyre with his signature Phenomenal Forearm, but instead connected with the official, knocking him out cold. And with the referee down, it opened the door for another Nitro superstar to make an unexpected appearance... The Velveteen Dream. The flamboyant competitor stormed to ringside and drilled Styles with McIntyre's World Championship belt before dragging him to the outside and bouncing him off the announce desk. In an act of anger from last week's main event result, The Dream laid waste to former World Champion and sent him back into the ring before waking up the official. The Scottish Psychopath regrouped and capitalised on the situation, delivering a Claymore kick and securing the victory. The WCW World Champion stood tall, his focus now allowed to be set on his future challenger, Seth Rollins. But meanwhile, The Velveteen Dream climbed into the ring and stood over the fallen Phenomenal One, looking down and shaking his head. He mounted Styles in the center of the ring and got right in his face, telling him "I'm the star, not you" and then raising his hands into the air to thunderous boos from the crowd. The Dream has struck, and Styles was his target.</div></div>

The Lunatic Fringe made a shock return to ECW last week, costing Jeff Hardy his match in the ECW Television Championship Tournament, arriving unexpectedly and acting as distraction for The Charismatic Enigma. Ambrose opened tonight's show to declare his return, and explained that he had to take time away to rethink and recalculate his approach. The result? Still as crazy as ever. The former World Champion stated that he has no gameplan, he has no tactics, he's simply here to seek and destroy, and that's what he intends to do to Jeff Hardy. He laid out the official challenge, calling for one last match at ECW One Night Stand to settle it all. "Come on, Mr. Daredevil. Take a risk. Fight me one last time" he snarled. Will Jeff Hardy accept this bold challenge?</div></p><p> </p><p>

From sixteen men down to just four, the ECW Television Championship Tournament reaches its semi-final stage. Tonight, the two finalists will be found as Rob Van Dam goes up against the monstrous Lars Sullivan, and the Bruiserweight, Pete Dunne goes head-to-head with the Man Beast, Rhyno. And that latter match is coming up - right now! Who will go on to ECW One Night Stand to compete to become the first ECW Television Champion of the New Era?</div></p><p> </p><p>

<img src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/3DV0EJK.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/3DV0EJK.png"><div</a> style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Pete Dunne def. Rhyno to advance to the finals of the ECW Television Championship Tournament</b></div></p><p>

Getting right into the action, the first of tonight's two semi-final bouts commenced, pitting the young Pete Dunne against the dangerously powerful, Rhyno. The more experienced Man Beast went right to work, continuing to display the all-new aggression we have seen from him these last few weeks, keeping Dunne at bay. But when the ECW faithful began to rally behind the Bruiserweight, he used that energy to battle back and even the odds. But just as Rhyno looked to be homing in on a victory with his signature Gore, Dunne was able to leapfrog the devastating move and send the former ECW World Champion into the steel post. Capitalising on the situation, Dunne planted his adversary with the Bitter End and picked up a momentous win, having defeated a former World Champion and advancing to the finals of the ECW Television Championship Tournament. "Bruiserweight!" chanted the crowd as Dunne celebrated his well-earned victory, much to the fury of Rhyno. But the question is now, who will he face at ECW One Night Stand? Will it be Lars Sullivan, or Rob Van Dam?</div></p><p> </p><p>

The Riott Squad</b></div></p><p>

It's no secret that The Land of Extreme has never really been the home of any women's revolution, but the New Era has turned that on its head. Not only will the Women's World Championship be defended at ECW One Night Stand in two weeks, but the female extremists have flourished since arriving on the brand. Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai partnered up tonight to take on Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan of The Riott Squad, and were able to topple the dominant duo as their leader, Ruby Riott watched on. After sending Morgan crashing to the floor on the outside, they were able to isolate Logan and hit her with an impressive combination that culminated in a tandem kick to secure the win. LeRae and Kai are just two of the names at the forefront of ECW's women's movement, and later tonight, it continues as the number one contender to the Women's World Championship, Shayna Baszler will be in action.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The formation of The Family has sent shockwaves through The Land of Extreme, especially for their prime target, Aleister Black. But this week, it was The Dutch Destroyer that made his way to the ring, sending chills down the spines of each and every hardcore faithful in attendance. With a much more sinister expression, Aleister Black sat cross-legged in the center of the ring and made a direct statement to The Family. "You may have embodied the supernatural. You may have gained control of the darkness. You may have freed your minds from reality. But what you have not done, is experienced true Evil" he declared, glaring directly into the camera. Black stated that he would come to ECW One Night Stand for a war, and challenged the leader, Bray Wyatt to a match at the big event. But not just any match. The Evil One laid it all on the line and challenged him to a Steel Cage Match! The Harbinger of Fury and The Eater of Worlds inside the confines of a steel cage? It doesn't get much more extreme than that.</div></p><p> </p><p>

<img src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/3LuE1li.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/3LuE1li.png"><div</a> style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Kassius Ohno collides with Tommaso Ciampa in tonight's main event</b></div></p><p>

Just two weeks away from the ECW World Championship clash between Finn Bálor and Johnny Gargano, their allies will go head-to-head in tonight's main event. The Knockout Artist has stood by Bálor as he battled against the odds of #DIY, but will he be able to take down The Psycho Killer, Ciampa tonight?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Rusev; Hardy accepted Ambrose's One Night Stand challenge</b></div></p><p>

Most people believed that Jeff Hardy could have gone the whole way and captured the ECW Television Championship at ECW One Night Stand, but it seems that Dean Ambrose had other plans. The Lunatic Fringe returned to cost Hardy the match, and at the top of tonight's show, emerged to challenge Jeff Hardy to a One Last Time encounter at ECW One Night Stand. The Charismatic Enigma went into action against Rusev, picking up the victory with a huge Swanton Bomb and sending Rusev Day packing to the back. Moments after the closing bell, Hardy grabbed a microphone and addressed Ambrose's challenge, accepting without any hesitation. He said he would see The Lunatic Fringe at One Night Stand, for one last time, and this time, it will end one way or another, because he wants to add a stipulation to the epic collision - Loser Leaves ECW! Who will walk out of One Night Stand a winner, and who will leave without their job?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Tye Dillinger & Zack Ryder</b></div></p><p>

In just two weeks, The Bludgeon Brothers will defend their ECW Tag Team Championships against The Dudley Boyz in a match that the ECW originals made famous - the Tables Match. But Harper and Rowan aren't exactly ones to back down from a challenge, as the monstrous duo vowed to crush The Dudleyz at their own game. And in a sort of preview, the big men decimated the team of Tye Dillinger and Zack Ryder tonight, even sending a message to their challengers by putting both of them through a table. Rowan planted Ryder through the wood via a chokeslam over the ropes and down to the arena floor, while Dillinger fell victim to a powerbomb from Harper inside the ropes. But at ECW One Night Stand it will be different, as the match is over the moment somebody is driven through a table. Will The Bludgeons really be able to conquer The Dudleyz in their own comfort zone? Or will the Hall of Fame team add yet another title reign to their resume?</div></p><p> </p><p>

<img src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/32Ujlv1.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/32Ujlv1.png"><div</a> style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Kevin Owens' "apology" is crashed by Sami Zayn</b></div></p><p>

Best friends turned bitter enemies. Last week, Sami Zayn returned from an injury sustained at the hands of his former best buddy, Kevin Owens and unleashed all hell on the former World Champion in the process. This week, The Prizefighter made his way to the ring and stood before the ECW faithful, looking surprisingly remorseful. He began by saying he understands what Zayn did to him last week, and he wanted to come out and set the record straight by apologising. The entire arena was confused, where had this emotion come from? But then it became clear, as Owens explained that he apologises for not crushing Sami's throat enough to keep him away for good. KO began shouting, claiming that Zayn was always holding him back, and he doesn't even deserve to be in the same arena as him, blaming him for causing him to lose the ECW World Championship. "You're a disease, Sami!" he bellowed to boos from the ECW faithful. But suddenly, The Underdog from the Underground appeared and the crowd went wild. Like last week, Zayn unleashed a furious attack on his former ally, brawling with him all around the ringside area. The fight once again got out of hand and officials had to rush down to separate the two. Zayn could be heard screaming "I'll see you at One Night Stand, you son of a bitch!" as he was pulled away. Owens wiped the blood from his mouth, his face red with rage, glaring at his old buddy. These two are going to fight til the end, and it seems like it will happen at ECW One Night Stand. One of these men, will not walk out the same.</div></p><p> </p><p>

<img src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/1s1LJoi.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/1s1LJoi.png"><div</a> style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Lars Sullivan def. Rob Van Dam to advance to the finals of the ECW Television Championship Tournament</b></div></p><p>

Pete Dunne secured his place in the finals earlier tonight, and now it was time to find out who his opponent would be. And how fitting that Rob Van Dam had the opportunity to get his hands on The Freak after suffering beatings from Sullivan in recent weeks. The former World Champion had the crowd behind him as he looked to topple the monstrous competitor, using his agility to stay out of the clutches of his larger opponent. But with Drew Gulak by ringside, it was easier said than done. As RVD took to the top rope, appearing to prepare for his signature Five-Star Frog Splash, Gulak grabbed his legs, refusing to let go. The Whole F'n Show kicked Gulak from the apron, sending him crashing to the floor, but it was enough to allow Sullivan to regroup and grab Van Dam from the top and plant him with a Freak Accident to secure the victory. The monster had advanced to the finals of the ECW Television Championship Tournament, and we now know that he will take on Pete Dunne for the gold at ECW One Night Stand. Can the Bruiserweight outmatch such a powerful monster? Drew Gulak certainly thinks not, stepping into the ring and declaring Sullivan the uncrowned ECW Television Champion. And looking at the undefeated streak of The Freak, it's hard to argue that point at all.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Natalya; Becky Lynch gets extreme</b></div></p><p>

The Queen of Spades made her intentions clear last week when she interrupted and attacked the Women's World Champion, Becky Lynch during her very first appearance on ECW. Baszler will now challenge Becky for the title at ECW One Night Stand. But in the meantime, she continued to show her dominance, picking up a victory over a former Women's Champion, Natalya by forcing her to submit to the Kirifuda Clutch. But as the number one contender celebrated her win, she was blindsided by her One Night Stand opponent, Becky Lynch herself. The Man arrived with a steel chair, showing that she could get extreme if the moment called for it, cracking Baszler over the back of the head with the steel. The Women's World Champion stood tall to the delight of the ECW faithful and held both her Championship and the steel chair above her head as Baszler reluctantly retreated up the aisle. "Your move, Shayna" yelled Becky.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Aleister Black may have issued the challenge earlier tonight, but The Family certainly had the last laugh. In the eerie surroundings of The Wyatt Compound, Bray Wyatt and Eric Young emerged to directly address The Dutch Destroyer and his Steel Cage challenge. Young questioned Black's "SAnitY" for issuing such a challenge, and promised that he would live to regret it until the day he dies. The Eater of Worlds stepped forward and guaranteed that hell would be opened at ECW One Night Stand, and Aleister Black's soul would be devoured within the confines of the steel cage. "You claim to be capable of Evil acts, Aleister. But you forget, that Evil was created by The Reaper. I am The Reaper. And your time on this Earth has come to its end... run". Nikki Cross suddenly burst onto the screen and screamed into the camera before everything cut to black. The war is on, and some dark forces will be present when these two collide.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Kassius Ohno; Johnny Gargano locks Finn Bálor in the Gargano Escape</b></div></p><p>

The dynamic of #DIY has dominated the ECW World Championship scene, and that continued tonight as Tommaso Ciampa was able to take down Kassius Ohno. The Knockout Artist put up a valiant effort, fighting for himself and Finn Bálor, but when the number one contender arrived on the scene and delivered a superkick to the jaw of KO, it was all but over. Tommaso Ciampa hit the Fairy Tale Ending and picked up the victory, standing side-by-side with Johnny Wrestling in celebration. But even after the bell, the pair continued to beat down on The Knockout Artist, until the ECW World Champion, Finn Bálor arrived to even the odds. However, it seemed that this was the plan all along, as #DIY were ready for Bálor's arrival, drilling him with a double superkick and then laying him out with a Meeting in the Middle. The number one contender dragged his adversary to the outside and locked him in a Gargano Escape, wrenching away as The Extraordinary Man screamed in pain. The Psycho Killer held off the official from breaking the hold as Gargano continued to apply pressure. Tonight's ECW came to an uncomfortable close as the Gargano Escape took hold.</div></div></p><p> </p><p>

The Game promised a huge announcement, and he delivered. Just like WCW and ECW before it, WWE Raw will have its own brand-exclusive event in three weeks - WWE No Mercy. But that wasn't the only announcement that Triple H had to make, as he revealed the main event of that very pay-per-view would be a WWE World Championship Match between "The New" Daniel Bryan... and Brock Lesnar. The WWE Universe were not too happy at the decision, but The King of Kings declared that this would be "best for business". However, one person who had something to say was the General Manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Texas Rattlesnake stormed to the ring and confronted his old rival, claiming that the suit and tie had gone to The Game's head. Austin explained that he understood that Triple H's role within the industry had changed, but he was still appointed as the General Manager of WWE Raw, and that's why he's going to insert another element into this blockbuster main event - Roman Reigns. A roar exploded from the WWE Universe, as The Game's face crunched up in a rage. He reminded Austin who his boss was and got up in the face of the Hall of Famer, before slowly stepping back and regaining his cool. "Alright, you can have your way, Austin. But under one condition" explains HHH, "If Roman Reigns wants another shot at the WWE World Championship, then he must earn it". The Game declared that Roman Reigns would compete in tonight's main event - against the WWE World Champion, Daniel Bryan! If he is victorious, he will be added to the main event of WWE No Mercy. As announced by Triple H, Roman Reigns will have to earn his place in the No Mercy WWE World Championship Match by defeating the reigning Champion in non-title action. Last week, The Revival took matters into their own hands, crashing a tag team bout between Heavy Machinery and The Street Profits, establishing their dominance over the tag team division and refusing to be embarrassed anymore. They repeated their actions this week, inserting themselves into a match between long-time rivals, The New Day and The Usos, attacking both teams and standing tall yet again after hitting a Shatter Machine on Xavier Woods. The WWE Tag Team Champions stood over the carnage and declared that the "tag team purge" had begun. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are taking no prisoners.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The rise of The Glorious One has been a focal point of WWE Raw the last couple of weeks, and his success rolled over into tonight's episode. However, not quite in the way that many would appreciate. As opposed to his previous two victories that were fairly decisive, Apollo Crews gave Roode a run for his money, coming close to defeating the former Intercontinental Champion after hitting him with an impressive standing moonsault. But Roode was not about to let his resurgence end like that, and pulled out the old underhanded tactics, rolling Crews up and grasping a handful of tights out of the view of the official, securing himself a cheap win. The Glorious One quickly fled ringside with a grin from ear-to-ear as Crews looked on in disappointment, the WWE Universe just as upset with the result. If that's why Robert Roode is "glorious", then he has a very different idea of it than we do.</div></p><p> </p><p>

A strange encounter with Ronda Rousey last week left The Man confused, as The Rowdy One gave her some "friendly advice" ahead of her title defence at ECW One Night Stand against Shayna Baszler. This week, Rousey and Lynch once again crossed paths, but in tag team action as the former UFC Champion came to the side of the Women's World Champion as she faced a 2-on-1 situation against Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. The pair worked together to defeat their adversaries and picked up a victory with Lynch forcing James to submit to the Dis-Arm-Her. Moments after the bell, Rousey raised Becky's hand and applauded her before leaving, giving us yet another confusing and awkward moment. "I got your back" shouted Rousey as she left up the aisle, The Man staring out in confusion. Say what you will, but Ronda Rousey seems to be very supportive of the current Women's World Champion.</div></p><p> </p><p>

When chaos broke out after a match between Baron Corbin and Tyler Bate last week, John Cena and his old rival, The Miz ended up coming to blows. Tonight, the two will collide and revive their old rivalry while their respective rivals undoubtedly watch from the back. Can the 16-time World Champion silence The A-List superstar? Or will The Miz repeat the result of their WrestleMania 27 clash and defeat The Cenation Leader?</div></p><p> </p><p>

The outspoken WWE World Champion once again spoke to the WWE Universe, clearly enraged by the announcement made by Triple H at the top of the show. The Planet's Champion claimed that he is the victim of a conspiracy, and has been unfairly treated as World Champion. Declaring himself "the only true worthy Champion", he stated that Brock Lesnar had done nothing to earn a shot at the WWE World Championship, and certainly doesn't deserve it based off his work ethic. Bryan reminds everyone that he puts his body on the line day in, day out for little to no appreciation, while Brock Lesnar comes and goes as he pleases. He then moves on to tonight's main event against Roman Reigns, declaring that of all people, Reigns doesn't deserve another opportunity. Growling into the camera, Daniel Bryan bellowed that he is "the greatest wrestler of all time" and would remain WWE World Champion until he breathes his last breath. The Planet's Champion stormed off the screen having made his point clear.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Breezango in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match</b></div></p><p>

Handicap matches are generally used as a way of punishing a superstar. But not this one. This one was actually requested by Braun Strowman. Following his huge victory over Randy Orton in last week's Street Fight main event, The Monster Among Men was back on the hunt for competition, and was presented with Fandango and Tyler Breeze in this 2-on-1 bout. The monstrous competitor bulldozed his way through the competition, crushing both members of The Fashion Police and ultimately finishing Fandango off with a thunderous running powerslam. After the match, The Monster Among Men demanded some more competition, stating that he needed more victims. Who will be next to step up toe the man mountain?</div></p><p> </p><p>

John Cena</b></div></p><p>

This highly anticipated encounter was finally upon us, and right from the get-go, The Miz was already getting in the head of the 16-time World Champion, reminding them of their WrestleMania 27 encounter. But Cena wasn't about to let The A-Lister take control, and unleashed a flurry of shots on his adversary. The match went back-and-forth with the former World Champions going at it tooth and nail. However, as The Cenation Leader looked to be closing in on a victory, measuring his opponent for an Attitude Adjustment, his recent rival, Baron Corbin emerged and jumped onto the ring apron to distract him. Cena rushed towards The Lone Wolf and sent him crashing to the arena floor, but the damage had been done as The Miz quickly struck and delivered a Skull-Crushing Finale, pinning Cena for the victory. The pair stood over the iconic competitor, but before they could do any further damage, Tyler Bate arrived with steel chair in hand! The British superstar chased the attackers away, Miz and Corbin retreating up the aisle with smirks on their faces as Bate tended to his fallen friend.</div></p><p> </p><p>

It seems like Kurt Angle is passing on his wisdom. Chad Gable went into action against Mike Kanellis tonight on WWE Raw and pulled out all the stops, showing off his ability in the ring. But it was the end of the bout that got people talking, as Gable took a page out of his mentor's book, applying the Ankle Lock and forcing Kanellis into submission. Redeeming his loss to Bobby Lashley last week, Gable celebrated with Kurt Angle in the ring. Meanwhile, The All Mighty and his adviser, Lio Rush watched on a monitor backstage before Rush stated that they would show Angle and Gable who the true pure athletes on WWE Raw are.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The past few weeks have seen the rivalries between John Cena and Baron Corbin, and The Miz and Tyler Bate become intertwined. And what better way to settle that score than in a tag team match? WWE World Champion "The New" Daniel Bryan to be added to the main event of WWE No Mercy</b></div></p><p>

The Big Dog had his chance, thanks to Stone Cold Steve Austin who lobbied for Roman Reigns to be added after Triple H initially scheduled the main event of WWE No Mercy to be a one-on-one bout between Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar. Austin's intervention paid off as Reigns went into a hard-hitting battle against The Planet's Champion. Bryan battled with The Big Dog to the very end, trying to do whatever he could to keep him out of the WWE World Championship picture. But he was ultimately unsuccessful in his attempts as Reigns capitalised on a missed attempt for a running knee, following it up with a Spear to secure the victory. As Reigns emotionally celebrated his victory, now realising he now had the opportunity to capture the WWE World Championship, he was interrupted by the arrival of the third element of the situation - Brock Lesnar. The Beast initially stormed towards the ringside area, but stopped before the ring apron, instead opting to step back and simply smirk at The Big Dog. Reigns invited Lesnar into the ring, but the former World Champion turned away and left to boos from the WWE Universe. Lesnar will no doubt show up for WWE No Mercy, but he doesn't fight on anyone else's terms. Only his.</div></div></p><p> </p><p>

He's back! The Nature Boy made his anticipated return to the explosive brand after taking a short hiatus to recover from his match with The Velveteen Dream at WCW SuperBrawl. The 16-time World Champion was overcome with emotion as chants of "Nature Boy" filled the arena, thanking the WCW Universe for their support. Wasting no time kicking things off, the Hall of Famer revealed his intentions to make sure that WCW Nitro is the best brand it can be, and the superior show of the New Era. With that said, he announced a first-time ever main event that will see the number one contender to the WCW World Championship, Seth Rollins take on The Velveteen Dream! And not only that, but we will also see The Undisputed ERA compete as one whole unit to take on Ricochet, The War Raiders and the Cruiserweight Champion, Ali in a huge Eight-Man Tag Team match. Tonight will be a night to remember, that's for sure. Welcome back, Ric!</div></p><p> </p><p>

Just moments after the return of her father, Charlotte Flair made her own impact by making her own return to WCW Nitro after her absence last week. She surprisingly came to the assistance of Lacey Evans, acting as her tag team partner against the team of Asuka and Kairi Sane. The Queen and The Lady seemed to be a match made perfect as they were able to defeat the Japanese pair, finishing the match with Charlotte forcing Sane into submission with the Figure-Eight Leglock. In a strange turn of events, Flair and Evans stood side-by-side, apparently forming what seems to be an alliance, and a dominant one at that.</div></p><p> </p><p>

At the request of Kalisto himself, this match took place after Samoa Joe's vicious assault on The Lucha House Party last week. The luchadore put the happy-go-lucky attitude aside for tonight as he looked to get revenge on behalf of his allies, but it didn't turn out quite as he had hoped. The Destroyer was clearly still in a foul mood, and his aggression didn't let up as he dismantled his adversary, delivering several stiff shots, keeping the high-flyer grounded. And finally, the Samoan Submission Machine was able to put Kalisto away with a devastating Muscle Buster for the victory. Samoa Joe stood tall over his victim once again, raising his hand as the victor. When will Samoa Joe's chaotic rampage come to an end?</div></p><p> </p><p>

The Scottish Psychopath decided it was time to directly address his number one contender, Seth Rollins and definitely didn't mince his words in doing so. The WCW World Champion declared his superiority over the rest of the locker room, claiming that Seth Rollins' glory is merely temporary, as he will be destroyed and thrown to the bottom of the pile once he is finished with him. Referring back to last week's main event, McIntyre stated that he would have defeated AJ Styles regardless of The Velveteen Dream's involvement, just like he will defeat Seth Rollins next week. "I have always been The Chosen One, and now I am the King" he bellowed, "But you will not slay me, Seth Rollins". McIntyre will no doubt be watching tonight's main event closely as his challenger goes head-to-head with The Velveteen Dream.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Ricochet, The War Raiders & Cruiserweight Champion Ali</b></div></p><p>

It has boiled down to this, after weeks of chaos, all eight men competed in one match. The Undisputed ERA went head-to-head with their enemies as Ricochet, Ali and The War Raiders united as one, hoping to vanquish the dominant force that The Undisputed ERA presents. The strange combination of talented athletes took the black and yellow quartet to the limit, but when it came to experience as a unit, Adam Cole's group had an upper hand. After O'Reilly and Fish took out The War Raiders on the outside, the two high-flyers, Ricochet and Ali went head-to-head with Cole and Strong. But The One and Only would crash and burn when Cole dragged Strong out of the way of a 630 Senton attempt. This left the Cruiserweight Champion to take the fall, receiving a Last Shot from the United States Champion for the win. The Undisputed ERA stood tall to end the match, having defeated their adversaries, despite a valiant effort. Tonight was not the night of good defeating evil, it was simply the night of Undisputed.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The Master of the 619 resurfaced on a night full of returns to the ring, and went up against Dolph Ziggler in singles action. The former World Champions clashed with pride on the line, hoping to make their next impact and impress the powers that be, but when it was all said and done, it was the legendary luchadore that walked away with the winning fall. After a Zig Zag attempt was unsuccessful, Mysterio tripped up The Show-off, landing him in the precarious position of the middle rope. Mysterio struck with his signature 619 and then delivered a Frog Splash from the top rope in homage to the late, great Eddie Guerrero. Three seconds later and Mysterio's hand was raised in victory. The Biggest Little Man stood tall as WCW Nitro continued, looking forward to his next move.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Refusing to give in until he is physically unable to continue, the Stinger made a promise that he would have one last run to the top, and claim the WCW World Championship one more time. However, this emotional moment was ruined when Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega crashed the party. The self-proclaimed "Pride of Mexico" rudely mocked the legend, howling as Sting would usually do himself. Vega stepped forward and spoke for her client, stating that Andrade had already proven himself more than a legend by defeating Rey Mysterio at WCW SuperBrawl. But now that another challenge raises its head, the former NXT Champion looked to add another legend to his list. Claiming that Andrade deserves a WCW World Championship opportunity before a "washed-up has-been" like Sting, Vega made it clear that The Icon would have to deal with El Idolo first. Sting responded in kind, inviting Almas to come to the ring and let him shove his baseball bat where the sun doesn't shine! However, Vega declined and explained that Andrade only competes on his own terms. The pair left to boos from the crowd as Sting shrugged his shoulders having laid out the challenge. Something tells us this isn't the last we have heard of this situation.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Elias</b></div></p><p>

All Elias may have gained from challenging Sting last week may be bad luck. The Living Truth returned to action this week, hoping to redeem himself after his loss to The Icon, only to suffer yet another defeat, this time at the hands of The King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura. Elias attempted to fight back and even came close to defeating The Rockstar by rolling him up with a handful of tights. However, Nakamura kicked out bad followed it up with a Kinshasa to secure the win. Whether it's a streak of poor luck or a "creative block" on the part of The Sinister Songsmith, he's going to have to go back to the drawing board.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Cedric Alexander</b></div></p><p>

The continued rise of EC3 has caught the attention of the entire WCW Universe, and it rolled right through this week's episode as he picked up yet another victory over Cedric Alexander. The Top 1% finished the high-flying superstar off with his signature One Percenter, sealing the deal. Moments after the final bell, EC3 grabbed a microphone and addressed the world, reminding everyone that he is indeed The Top 1%, and nobody can touch him. Bold words, but he currently has the record to back it up.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The Nature Boy may be back in charge, but it seems that Shane McMahon may have settled into the role a bit too much during his tenure as General Manager while Flair took time away to recover. The Prodigal Son approached Flair backstage to welcome him back to the explosive brand, but also informed the Hall of Famer that he intended to stick around on WCW Nitro as he "kind of enjoyed it". Looking confused, Flair explained that Shane McMahon was always welcome on WCW Nitro, to which Shane-O-Mac responded, "I know" before taking his leave. What are Shane McMahon's motives for staying on WCW Nitro? Does he even need any? After all, this is still very much the McMahon's world.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The Velveteen Dream via disqualification; Rollins and Styles take the fight to McIntyre and The Dream</b></div></p><p>

As announced by Ric Flair at the top of the show, this first time ever bout headlined this week's edition of WCW Nitro, and also acted as Seth Rollins' last chance to gain momentum heading into his WCW World Championship opportunity against Drew McIntyre next week. The two competitors went back-and-forth for the most part and both came close to securing the victory, but just as The Architect looked ready to "burn it down" with a Stomp, he was blindsided by The Scottish Psychopath who clubbed him over the back of the head with the World title belt. The official had no choice but to call for the ring bell, but this didn't stop McIntyre and The Velveteen Dream unleashing a post-match beatdown on the number one contender. Luckily for Rollins, a Phenomenal ally would emerge to make the save. AJ Styles rushed to the ring and evened the odds, making sure to get his hands on The Dream who attacked him during last week's main event, returning the favour in kind. Styles flew over the ropes to take the flamboyant superstar to the floor while The Kingslayer bounced back and delivered his signature Stomp to the WCW World Champion. He and AJ Styles stood side-by-side in union as The Dream and McIntyre reluctantly retreated. Next week, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre will clash with the WCW World Championship on the line. Who will walk out in possession of the big gold belt?</div></div></p>

The ECW World Championship will headline One Night Stand as Finn Bálor defends the prestigious title against Johnny Gargano. But Paul Heyman doesn't like to hang around before making his next move, and that's why whoever walks out of the Hammerstein Ballroom as Champion will already have their next challenger. The Father of Extreme made his way into the arena to reveal that this Sunday, there will be an Extreme Open Battle Royal to determine the next challenger for the ECW World Championship. Heyman made it extremely clear that this match would be open to absolutely anybody, anybody who feels that they are "extreme" enough to challenge for the World title. "I don't give a damn if you're from WWE Raw, if you're from WCW Nitro, or from right here on ECW" he declared, "Hell, I don't care if you don't even work here at all! If you think you can step between these ropes and get extreme, then bring it on". The opportunity had been laid out, and now it's just a matter of waiting to see who will rise to the occasion. Leave it to Paul Heyman to raise stakes.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Announced last week when Jeff Hardy accepted the challenge, he and Dean Ambrose will collide this Sunday for one last time, with the loser forced to leave The Land of Extreme. This heated rivalry has reached the point where one man must leave, and that is exactly what will happen at One Night Stand. Hardy and Ambrose sign the official contract tonight, but who will leave the Hammerstein Ballroom with their own contract still intact?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Just moments after Paul Heyman had announced the Extreme Open Battle Royal, it was confirmed that both Rob Van Dam and Rhyno would be participants in the bout, leading into this one-on-one contest. The two ECW originals collided just a week after they both came up short in the semi finals of the ECW Television Championship Tournament, and it was The Whole F'n Show that walked out with the victory, avoiding a Gore from the Man Beast and hitting his signature Five-Star Frog Splash. The former World Champion stood over his fallen foe and celebrated with the hardcore faithful. Could Rob Van Dam be the one to go all the way and earn his place as number one contender this Sunday?</div></p><p> </p><p>

The ECW Tag Team Champions made an emphatic statement last week when they defeated the tandem of Tye Dillinger and Zack Ryder, putting both men through tables as a direct message to their challengers, the Dudley Boyz. However, not discouraged by the display, the legendary tag team arrived on ECW tonight and issued an equally dominant beating to Primo and Epico Colón. The Hall of Famers planted Epico with a 3-D to pick up the victory and stood in celebration amidst the ECW faithful. Bubba Ray grabbed a microphone and declared that he and his brother were saving the tables for Harper and Rowan, and promised to show them how it feels to "get wood". "Testify!" shouted D-Von as the pair left ringside, ready for their title opportunity this Sunday.</div></p><p> </p><p>

We saw Becky Lynch get extreme last week, emerging on ECW and taking a steel chair to her challenger, Shayna Baszler. This week, The Queen of Spades came to the ring and addressed the Women's World Champion, promising to end her career this Sunday at ECW One Night Stand. She also had a few things to say about Ronda Rousey, who had been seemingly supporting The Man as she prepared to face Baszler, albeit in a confusing and suspicious manner. But no sooner had the number one contender stated that she guarantees victory, Becky Lynch made yet another appearance in The Land of Extreme, wasting no time in taking the fight to her challenger. A chaotic brawl ensued and officials were forced to separate the pair. Which one of these women will leave the Hammerstein Ballroom as the Women's World Champion?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Just days before he goes head-to-head with Finn Bálor for the ECW World Championship, Johnny Gargano will address his adversary directly. Pete Dunne</b></div></p><p>

The finals of the ECW Television Championship Tournament take place this Sunday at ECW One Night Stand, and one of those competitors involved is Pete Dunne. The other? Lars Sullivan. But tonight, it was Sullivan's "handler", Drew Gulak that went into battle against the Bruiserweight, and with The Freak watching on from ringside, it was never going to be simple. Dunne came within moments of defeating the self-proclaimed "anti-extremist", but it was then when Sullivan chose to strike. He ambushed his One Night Stand opponent and unleashed a hellish beating, laying Dunne out cold. Gulak capitalised and hooked the leg to secure an upset victory over the Bruiserweight and stood tall alongside his monster. Pete Dunne has his work cut out for him this Sunday if he wants to walk out as the first ECW Television Champion of the New Era.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The hardcore faithful are used to bitter and bloody feuds, but maybe not quite like this. These two former best friends aren't just trying to hurt each other, they're trying to kill each other. As Sami Zayn began an exclusive interview addressing his recent return and his revenge-fuelled attacks on Kevin Owens the last couple of weeks, he was blindsided by the very man in question. KO struck with a steel pipe to the back of Zayn's skull and proceeded to tear his jacket and shirt from his body, dragging him around the backstage area like a rag doll. "You want to do this, Sami?!" he repeatedly screamed as he threw The Underdog from the Underground into anything that they passed. Travelling into the parking lot, Owens slammed a car door into the shoulder of his former best friend, and then went on to continue beating him with shot after shot. Eventually, security arrived on the scene and apprehended Owens, dragging him away from the scene. He could be heard shouting "I'll see you Sunday!" as he was removed from the area, medical personal tending to Sami Zayn. This is more than just a rivalry, this is downright personal.</div></p><p> </p><p>

No Way Jose, Goldust & Mojo Rawley in a Four-Way Dance</b></div></p><p>

It seems the Extreme Open Battle Royal has motivated a lot of ECW's extremists, and everyone is out to prove why they deserve to win the opportunity. Four men did battle tonight in a match synonymous with The Land of Extreme, a Four-Way Dance. First to be eliminated was Mojo Rawley who fell victim to a ¡Toma! from No Way Jose. Goldust was the next person to leave the match, courtesy of Rusev's Machka Kick, and a little help from Aiden English who hung the legendary competitor up on the top rope to send him into The Bulgarian Brute. And finally, No Way Jose put on an incredible display against the former United States Champion, but was unable to see the job through as he was forced to submit to The Accolade, giving Rusev the victory. The Bulgarian Brute stood tall in celebration, Aiden English leading the chant of "Rusev Day!" as Lana declared that her husband would win the Extreme Open Battle Royal this Sunday. It's hard to argue after a display like that.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Next week, only one of these men will be an official member of the ECW roster, and the other will be left on the unemployment line. But it's the only way to make sure that this is indeed the final time they collide. The Charismatic Enigma ditched the facepaint for this occasion as he prepared to sign the contract that could potentially put an end to his own. Dean Ambrose on the other hand attended the scene looking ready for a fight as always. Paul Heyman returned to ringside to oversee the proceedings and ensured that both men signed the dotted line to make the match and stipulation official. After a war of words, both men did indeed sign the necessary paperwork and Heyman officially declared the match would take place, with one man's contract being terminated as a result of a loss. But when has a contract signing ever gone without a hitch? Dean Ambrose lunged across the tables and tackled Hardy to the ground, forcing the former World Champion to have to fight back. Ultimately, it ended with Ambrose driving his rival through the contract table with a vicious powerbomb, leaving Hardy laying. The Lunatic Fringe smirked as he looked down at his foe and mockingly gestured with his hand the very same gesture that Jeff Hardy uses. One way or another, one of these men will be forced to leave The Land of Extreme.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Killian Dain</b></div></p><p>

The match that was supposed to take place weeks ago as part of the ECW Television Championship Tournament, finally rescheduled for tonight. And mysteriously, Bray Wyatt had ordered the rest of The Family to stay away from ringside, declaring moments before the match he wanted to "observe Aleister Black" before their Steel Cage bout at One Night Stand this Sunday. The Dutch Destroyer pulled out all the stops and showed off a very focused offence after being absent for a few weeks, eventually finishing off The Beast of Belfast with the Black Mass. Aleister Black stood tall over Dain and looked up to the aisle where The Family had assembled before him. Wyatt simply spread his arms wide and began laughing maniacally. When these two collide inside the steel cage, it is sure to be a wild ride if anything.</div></p><p> </p><p>

No Tommaso Ciampa. No #DIY. Johnny Gargano came to the ring tonight alone, surprising many of the ECW faithful, but it was clear that the number one contender wanted this address to come directly from him. Firstly, he explained why he was alone, claiming that this isn't about anybody else but him. Johnny Wrestling declared that he had scratched and clawed his way to every opportunity he has ever got, and has always done good by everyone else. "But where has that got me?" he asked. He went on to say that while many have turned their back on him after what he did to get this opportunity, he didn't care because this was his chance to claim what he believes is rightfully his. "This Sunday, Finn Bálor loses the ECW World Championship. And I gain the respect I deserve" he bellowed. But before he could continue, the lights began to flicker, and the titantron jolted into action, showing a darkened corridor in the arena. Suddenly, the camera panned to show what can only be described as The Demon. The ECW faithful went crazy as he began to speak. "Johnny... this Sunday... you will be forced to atone for your sins... you won't just be facing Finn Bálor at ECW One Night Stand... you'll be standing face-to-face... with The Demon" he snarled as he spread his arms out wide. The titantron then shut off leaving Gargano looking flustered. The number one contender scanned around the arena with rage in his eyes as the show came to an end. We now know that Johnny Gargano will be going head-to-head with not just Finn Bálor... but The Demon King himself.</div></div></p><p> </p><p>

Paul Heyman has never been one to keep his emotions hidden, and he opened up tonight's huge pay-per-view event with an emotional address to the hardcore faithful, thanking them for their continued support. He declared that tonight marks another success for the ECW brand, promising that it will remain a worthy competitor to WWE and WCW. The extreme leader promised that tonight would make history, and it would not be for the weak of heart. He signed off with a clear statement - "This is E-C-****ing-W!".</div>

While ECW One Night Stand is just beginning, one man's career in The Land of Extreme is about to be over. The bitter rivalry between Dean Ambrose and Jeff Hardy has come down to this. One man must leave the ECW brand, because it just isn't big enough for the both of them. The two former World Champions entered the Hammerstein Ballroom knowing that one contract would be terminated tonight, but they were determined for it not to be theirs. They immediately began to brawl, tearing into each other as they have done over the last few months, from one-on-one battles to Asylum Matches, they've been through hell. Jeff Hardy was able to bust open Ambrose with a steel chair during the contest and then delivered his own Twist of Fate, coming close to securing the victory, but The Lunatic Fringe wasn't going to stay down just like that. He battled back and used any weapon he could get his hands on, hitting Hardy in the gut with a Singapore cane, following it up with Dirty Deeds, almost capturing the win for himself. But as the match began to slow from fatigue, it was Jeff Hardy who threw Ambrose from the top rope and delivered his signature Swanton Bomb that enabled him to get the three count, resulting in the ECW contract of Dean Ambrose to be officially terminated. The Charismatic Enigma celebrated to the delight of the ECW faithful as Ambrose looked on, wiping the blood from his eyes and realising that his time had come. Without even looking back, The Lunatic Fringe left ringside, his expression one of disbelief. What is next for Dean Ambrose?</div>

The Bludgeon Brothers in a Tables Match to become the new ECW Tag Team Champions; The Authors of Pain debut and destroy The Dudleyz</b></div>

Got wood? The Dudleyz sure have. The unstoppable force that is The Bludgeon Brothers had to defend their ECW Tag Team Championships against The Dudley Boyz in their own domain - a Tables Match. And boy, were Bubba Ray and D-Von ready for the challenge. The Hall of Fame duo wasted no time taking the fight to their rivals and even had the pair reeling as they settled right in to the familiar surroundings and began rallying an offence against the barbarians, Harper and Rowan. And despite the best efforts of the reigning title holders, they were unable to best the legendary team at their own game, suffering their very first defeat since joining ECW when Bubba Ray drove Harper through a table with a vicious powerbomb for the win. The Hammerstein Ballroom erupted as the ECW originals were declared the new ECW Tag Team Champions, and the brothers shared an emotional embrace as they were handed the gold. But unfortunately, this moment that was supposed to be remember in history was about to be turned completely on its head. The Dudleyz were taken by surprise as the lights began to flicker and a sinister theme began to play. Suddenly, Drake Maverick emerged through the curtain and was followed shortly after by Akam and Rezar... The Authors of Pain were here. The WWE Raw team began walking towards the ringside area, removing their entrance gear before Maverick pointed his fingers towards the ring, acting as the orchestrator in what can only be described as a tactical assault. The monstrous duo unleashed a hellish beating on the new ECW Tag Team Champions and left Bubba Ray laying after The Last Chapter. Akam, Rezar and Drake Maverick stood in the center of the ring to a chorus of boos from the ECW faithful. What business do they have here in ECW?!</div>

Shayna Baszler to retain the Women's World Championship</b></div>

The last few weeks have seen Becky Lynch get extreme as she prepared to step into the ring against Shayna Baszler. Tonight, she proved that she fits right in to The Land of Extreme and took The Queen of Spades to the limit. With the ECW faithful surprisingly behind her, The Man went into battle against her challenger, immediately trying to submit Baszler with a series of submissions. However, the aggressive extremist was able to battle out and unleashed a vicious assault on the Women's World Champion, throwing her around the ring with suplexes and applying her own set of holds, almost pulling Lynch's arm from her socket with an armbar over the ropes. The Man battled back, gaining some distance between herself and her adversary, delivering a suicide dive to Baszler. But no sooner had the pair hit the ground, had The Queen of Spades sprung back to her feet and thrown Lynch into the guard rail. Taking advantage of the situation, she returned the fight to the ring and was able to lock in her signature Kirifuda Clutch - the same move that had put away so many more before. But somehow, some way, Becky Lynch was able to slip out of the devastating submission, once again gaining some separation. As Baszler got to her feet in disbelief, she charged towards the Women's World Champion, only to find herself taken to the canvas with a crucifix, and shockingly pinned to the mat for a three count. The Man quickly rolled out of the ring having defeated her challenger and retaining her title, much to the anger of Shayna Baszler. Becky Lynch retreated up the aisle in celebration, the ECW faithful in full support of her as Baszler screamed at the official in a fit of rage. The Man had conquered The Queen of Spades at ECW One Night Stand, leaving with her title intact once more.</div>

Aleister Black has been the victim of physical and mental abuse at the hands of Bray Wyatt and his new Family over the last few weeks, and it led to The Dutch Destroyer challenging his rival to a match for tonight. But not just any match - a Steel Cage Match! The two bitter enemies clashed inside the confines of the steel, standing face-to-face before the hardcore faithful and engaging in an all-out war. The Eater of World was already in the head of his adversary, and took an early advantage, using the cage as a weapon early on to ground Black. The former NXT Champion battled back and turned the tables, using the cage to his own advantage instead. Back and forth they went until Wyatt saw an opening and delivered his signature Sister Abigail in the center of the ring, hooking the leg and hoping to end it. But Black was able to kick out at two, refusing to stay down. Infuriated, Wyatt attempted a second Sister Abigail, only for The Dutch Destroyer to find a second wind and unleash a flurry of attacks on The Reaper. After dropping Wyatt with a well-timed kick, Black began to scale the cage wall, perhaps looking for a victory via escape. However, Wyatt sprung back into action and joined him, both men battling it out above the ring, clinging onto the steel for dear life. The Eater of Worlds raked the eyes of his opponent and slammed him head-first into the steel, opening Black up and sending him crashing to the mat. He then went on to capitalise, delivering a second Sister Abigail which grounded his adversary once and for all, allowing him to pick up the victory. Bray Wyatt stood tall over his fallen foe as the cage was raised, releasing the competitors. He dropped to his knees and laughed maniacally as he knelt over Black's motionless body. Even without The Family, Bray Wyatt stands tall as a force to be reckoned with, and Aleister Black found that out first-hand.</div>

Lars Sullivan to become the first ECW Television Champion</b></div>

It began with sixteen men. Now it's down to just two. Pete Dunne and Lars Sullivan went head-to-head in the finals of the ECW Television Championship Tournament to crown the inaugural Champion of the New Era. The ECW faithful were solidly behind The Bruiserweight, but it was hard to go against the monstrous Lars Sullivan looking at the sheer size difference. As soon as the opening bell sounded, The Freak exploded from his corner and went on to brutally dismantle his adversary, giving Dunne little to no room to even breathe. Shot after shot, move after move, Sullivan ran through his opponent like a bulldozer and it seemed all but clear who was going to be leaving the Hammerstein Ballroom with the gold. However, when Sullivan opened Dunne up with a series of right hands during the bout, it seemed to wake up a monster within The Bruiserweight that we hadn't seen before. Dunne screamed in the face of his adversary, blood pouring from the wound, appearing to gain a second win at the sight of his own blood. Then it began, the comeback. The British up and comer went ballistic, unloading on Sullivan and battling back against the big man. Drew Gulak tried to step in to regain some control for his monstrous ally, but Dunne dealt with that with a steel chair shot to the skull. Keeping hold of the chair, Dunne returned to the ring and used it on The Freak, repeatedly beating him with the steel until he had worn down his opponent to the point that he could not get back up. With a scream, Dunne lifted Sullivan up into the air and somehow planted him onto the steel chair with a Bitter End and hooked the leg, picking up an unbelievable victory. The Bruiserweight shouted with joy as the ECW faithful erupted in the Hammerstein Ballroom. The official handed him the ECW Television Championship as he was officially declared the first holder of the title in the New Era. Pete Dunne did the unthinkable and conquered The Freak. The future is bright for this young man, and it all begins now.</div>

Yeah, that's right. Saying "anything can happen in wrestling" is an understatement, and tonight is proof. Superstars and extremists from across all three brands made their way into the Hammerstein Ballroom to take part in Paul Heyman's Extreme Open Battle Royal, created to find a new challenger for the ECW World Championship after tonight is over. The message was received far and wide as several superstars from both WWE Raw and WCW Nitro arrived to participate. One in particular was Elias, who made his way to the ring while performing a derogatory song about ECW's faithful fans. His disrespect didn't go unnoticed though, as he found himself the first person eliminated from the match as he was sent crashing over the ropes and through a table shortly after the opening bell, courtesy of the entire ring of talent. Not only did superstars from other brands show, but some familiar faces from the past - Sabu and The Sandman! The ECW originals joined the fray to the delight of the hardcore faithful, doing battle with today's competitors. As the body count began to decrease, things became more and more tense. The Family's Killian Dain gave an impressive showing, eliminating both Sandman and Sabu, among others, before being eliminated himself by Kassius Ohno. The final two came down to Rob Van Dam and Tommaso Ciampa, battling it out to determine the next contender. However, what happened next was certainly unexpected. Moments before RVD dumped Ciampa over the ropes, Dean Ambrose emerged. The Lunatic Fringe hopped the guard rail and stood stalking his prey, the ECW crowd in a frenzy. He slid into the ring just seconds before Ciampa's feet hit the arena floor, and while The Whole F'n Show celebrated what he thought was a victory, he was spun around and planted into the canvas with a Dirty Deeds! Ambrose capitalised and sent the former World Champion over and out, apparently claiming the victory for himself. Less than two hours removed from his ECW contract being terminated after losing to Jeff Hardy in a Loser Leaves ECW Match, The Lunatic Fringe takes advantage of Paul Heyman's open invitation and finds an opportunistic loophole, stealing the victory from Rob Van Dam. What does this mean for Dean Ambrose? How will Rob Van Dam react to being robbed of his win? And more importantly, can Ambrose really be the number one contender to the ECW World Championship?</div>

Best friends. Bitter enemies. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been through thick and thin, whether they were side-by-side or face-to-face, but this may be the end of days for their on/off relationship. After Kevin Owens turned his back on his best friend weeks ago, blaming him for the loss of his ECW World Championship and crippling him in the center of the ring in a heinous assault, Zayn has sought revenge, and tonight he gets it. The Underdog from the Underground made his way to the ring and didn't take his eyes off KO, even giving a little smirk, knowing that he was about to get his hands on the man who tried to end his career. Right out of the starting gates, the pair engaged in an all-out brawl that tumbled to the outside and went all around the ringside area. Back-and-forth they battled, up the aisle to the entrance way, tearing into each other like savage animals. Owens must have pre-planned for this, however, as he quickly reached behind the guard rail in the front row and uncovered a Singapore cane! The Prizefighter began beating his former friend repeatedly, bringing up welts almost immediately and gaining complete control of the match. The fight eventually returned to ringside where Owens utilised a steel chair to crack open the skull of his adversary, and continued to target the wound. Zayn was able to fight back eventually, wielding the chair for himself and returning the favour, splitting open Owens and beating him senseless with the steel. Things had become somewhat uncomfortable to watch as Zayn planted Owens head-first into the arena floor with an incredible tornado DDT, diving through the turnbuckles to connect. But it only got worse from there. Those with a weak disposition should have turned away now as Sami Zayn pulled out a table from beneath the ring, and proceeded to set it alight. As chants of "ECW!" filled the Hammerstein Ballroom, Zayn dragged his rival back into the ring where he intended to throw Owens into his barbaric setup. KO had other ideas. Owens must have realised his predicament and quickly fought out of it, instead turning the metaphorical tables and driving his former best friend from the ring apron, through the flaming table with a powerbomb. The impact sounded like an explosion as the ECW faithful chanted "Holy shit!", Zayn writhing in pain as officials rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames. Not allowing medical personnel to tend to Zayn, Owens hopped down and picked up his adversary, rolling him into the ring with the intention of finishing this match. And as if enough damage hadn't already been done, he dropped Sami Zayn onto his head with a sickening Package Piledriver, finally hooking the leg for the three count. Battered and bruised, Kevin Owens had walked out with the victory, despite not looking like a winner at all. But looking even worse for wear was Sami Zayn who had been quickly propped up in the corner by officials who were desperate to tend to his injuries. The match came to a close with Owens looking out into the ECW faithful, eyes wide, crimson mask, blank expression. This man is as sadistic as they come.</div>

Johnny Gargano to retain the ECW World Championship; Dean Ambrose strikes and lays out The Demon</b></div>

One way or another, Johnny Gargano had earned himself a shot at the ECW World Championship, an opportunity he felt he deserved more than anyone else. Manipulating his way into the title picture, Johnny Wrestling had his chance, but not without a fight. Finn Bálor decided that now was the perfect time to dig down deep and summon The Demon, bringing the mythical creature to ECW One Night Stand for a battle for the ages. Bálor unleashed his offence early on and showed Gargano exactly what The Demon is capable of, planting him with a brainbuster out of the gate. The challenger was able to regain his composure and fight back against his intimidating foe, hitting some high-impact moves to keep Bálor at bay. But nothing could have stopped the ECW World Champion from soaring through the air, taking the number one contender down with an incredible plancha, to which the hardcore faithful chanted "ECW!". The Demon maintained control of the match for the next few minutes, but Gargano seemed to pull some energy from deep down, springing over the ropes himself and delivering a devastating apron DDT, planting Bálor on the top of his head. With the match now in his favour, Johnny continues to stay in control and took his adversary up to the top rope, clearly planning something high-risk. And he didn't disappoint, as both men came crashing to the arena floor with an unbelievable superplex, right from the top down to the thin matting below. "Holy shit!" chanted the crowd as both men lay motionless on the floor. Eventually, Gargano was able to capitalise on the situation, rolling Bálor back into the ring and hooking the leg, but The Demon would not stay down. Frustrated, Gargano lifted Bálor back to his feet, only to be on the receiving end of a surge of momentum, getting taken down by a Slingblade and then all in one fell swoop, Bálor sprung to the top rope for a Coup de Grace. Somehow, Gargano was able to avoid the stomp and instead dragged his opponent to the canvas, applying the Gargano Escape! At first, it seemed like Bálor had nowhere to go and it was looking more and more like we were going to see a new ECW World Champion. But we should know by now - never count The Demon out. He broke the hold and regained his strength, appearing to go through an inhuman resurrection, battling back and even pulling out the 1916, planting Gargano on the back of his head. And just moments later, he returned to the skies, this time connecting with the signature Coup de Grace and hooking the leg for the decisive victory. An incredible showing from both men, and proof that Johnny Gargano does indeed deserve to be in the main event conversation, but when it's all said and done, The Demon reigns supreme and is still the ECW World Champion. But the night wasn't over just yet... in a shocking turn of events, Dean Ambrose emerged for the third time tonight and ambushed Finn Bálor from behind! The new number one contender who had already defied the odds earlier in the night, arrived to send a message to the ECW World Champion, planting The Demon on his skull with a Dirty Deeds. The Lunatic Fringe snatched the ECW World Championship from the hands of the official and put it over his own shoulder as the ECW faithful filled the arena with boos. Ambrose stood over the fallen Bálor, making a very clear statement - Dean Ambrose is coming for the gold, and nobody can stop him.</div></div>

There has been plenty of controversy surrounding WWE Raw these last few weeks, partly due to the ongoing power struggle between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H. Well, it hasn't gone unnoticed. The WWE Universe were shocked when tonight's episode opened with the familiar sound of Mr. McMahon's entrance theme. The Chairman of the Board made his way out into the arena with a scowl on his face, clearly here for serious business. Mr. McMahon demanded that his music be cut, and immediately began addressing the entire WWE Universe, declaring that the last few weeks have led to the WWE brand becoming an embarrassment. "Lack of control, bias decisions, a complete disregard for the brand's well-being" he bellowed, furious at what has been going on these last few weeks. The Chairman declared that things are going to change and it starts tonight! He revealed that while he would not be overturning decisions already made, he would be overseeing everything else going forward, and ensuring that the build up to WWE No Mercy is the best that it can be. Referencing the No Mercy main event, McMahon stated that it would indeed be a Triple Threat bout between Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns for the WWE World Championship, and that tonight we would see Brock Lesnar in action for the first time on WWE Raw in the main event. Mr. McMahon has arrived and made a clear statement - he is not about to let WWE Raw descend into chaos. What will Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin have to say about the Chairman's unexpected arrival?</div>

Intercontinental Champion The Miz & Baron Corbin</b></div>

Announced last week, this tag team bout opened up tonight's blockbuster episode of WWE Raw, courtesy of Mr. McMahon. And what a way it was to kick things off. The two teams collided as two rivalries crossed paths and while The Miz did his best to avoid getting into contact with Tyler Bate, John Cena and Baron Corbin had no issues getting it on. The two hard-hitters brawled during the contest until Cena was able to send The Lone Wolf over the ropes and out of the picture as The Miz found himself alone with his recent rival. Bate attempted to deliver his Tyler Driver, only for Miz to slip out and attempt his own signature move, the Skull-Crushing Finale. The young British superstar had the wherewithal to escape and rolled The A-Lister into a sunset flip predicament, securing a shock three count and picking up the victory. John Cena and Tyler Bate left up the aisle in celebration as The Miz looked on in disbelief. Baron Corbin wasn't too happy about the loss either, totally blanking the Intercontinental Champion as he stormed away from ringside.</div>

After Mr. McMahon shocking arrival at the start of the night, Triple H sought out the Chairman to get some answers. Barging into McMahon's office, The Game questioned his father-in-law, asking what was going on. Of course, family or not, nobody barges in on the boss, and he made sure that Triple H knew that. He then went on to explain that he created WWE Raw, and he won't see it run into the ground because of a "conflict of interest" between him and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Chairman made it clear that he was here to call the shots and get the brand back on track, without the input of The Game. This didn't sit well with Triple H, who reminded Mr. McMahon that he too had plenty of pull within the company, but Vince simply responded by reminding Triple H of one small detail - "I'm the boss, damnit".</div>

This wasn't quite as "glorious" as Robert Roode had probably hoped. Despite weeks of success previously, The Glorious One hit a bump in the road, and that bump had a name - Apollo Crews. The high-flying competitor went up against the new-and-improved competitor as WWE Raw continued, and once again, Roode looked to utilise underhanded tactics to gain an unfair advantage. However, this time it didn't quite go to plan. The former Intercontinental Champion removed one of the turnbuckle pads while the official was distracted, and attempted to use it against his opponent, but when Crews was able to avoid a snake eyes and instead shove Roode sternum-first into the steel, he then connected with an impressive Frog Splash to pick up the victory and hand Roode his first loss in weeks. The impressive athlete celebrated as The Glorious One gripped his chest in pain, demanding that the referee call for a disqualification, but there was no debate, Crews had won this one.</div>

Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax & Paige in a Fatal 5-Way Match to become the number one contender for the Women's World Championship</b></div>

The Man refuses to let go of the Women's World Championship, having defended it across all three brands successfully over the last few months. Her next challenge will come from home as her contender was to be determined in a huge Fatal 5-Way bout featuring five of WWE Raw's top female superstars - all of which are former Women's Champions. With the opportunity on the line, none of these women wanted to let it pass them, and they each put everything they had into walking out with the victory. Nia Jax dominated a large amount of the match, but when her four adversaries put their heads together and united against The Irresistible Force, they were able to remove her from the equation. After Paige took a tumble to the outside courtesy of a Bayley-to-Belly, and Sasha Banks showed it was indeed every woman for themselves when she sent Bayley crashing through the ropes with a dropkick, it was left to Ronda Rousey to pick up the pieces. The Rowdy One isolated The Boss and locked her into her signature armbar, forcing her into submission and securing her place as number one contender. The former UFC Champion had been showing her "support" for The Man in recent weeks as she prepared to go up against ECW's Shayna Baszler, but now she finds herself in the challenger's position, and something tells us that she won't be quite as supportive.</div>

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past two decades, you'll know all about the history between Mr. McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin. And another moment in their story came tonight as the two came face-to-face backstage. After a moment of spine-chilling silence, McMahon decided to cut the tension and ask what Austin wanted. The Texas Rattlesnake explained that he had heard what McMahon had to say earlier in the night, and he understood, but what he didn't appreciate was being put in the back seat without any warning. As the Chairman began to explain his actions, Austin interrupted him and told him that he knew how this could be settled, and he knows that McMahon knows the same. The Hall of Famer touched noses with his long-time rival and simply told him "You gotta do, what you gotta do. But you better do it right". The General Manager of WWE Raw then left as McMahon took a large gulp and readjusted his tie. What does Austin mean by that?</div>

The Monster Among Men did exactly the same this week, destroying his adversaries and putting them away, throwing Gallagher and Slater to the outside before driving Hawkins into the canvas with a running powerslam for the victory. Just as he had previously, he grabbed a microphone and demanded further competition, claiming that it doesn't matter whether he has one, two, three or ten different opponents, if they aren't worth his time, he isn't interested. Suddenly, a fiery explosion sent shockwaves through the arena as the lights went out. The WWE Universe erupted and the lights returned to see a returning Kane standing face-to-face with the big man. The Monster Among Men stood his ground and the two giants glared at each other. It seems that Kane has answered Strowman's demands for competition, and there's no bigger competition than The Big Red Monster. Braun slowly walked around The Devil's Favourite Demon and left the ring, not taking his eyes off Kane at any point. Will these two behemoths collide in the near future?</div>

The Revival might have just gone one step too far for Mr. McMahon's liking. The WWE Tag Team Champions once again caused chaos on Raw as they assaulted Tyler Breeze and Fandango before their scheduled tag team bout, rendering the match invalid. But rather than being allowed to enjoy the moment as they had in previous weeks, Dash and Dawson found themselves on the receiving end of a McMahon-sized tirade. The Chairman emerged on the stage to the horror of The Revival, and explained that while Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin had been too busy with each other to notice what had been going on in the tag team division, he has not. McMahon declared that The Revival's actions would have consequences, and as a result, they will defend their titles at WWE No Mercy against five other teams in a Tag Team Turmoil Match! Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson were left speechless as Mr. McMahon laid down the law, revealing that Breezango would get their shot, along with Heavy Machinery, The Street Profits, The Usos and The New Day. "Good luck, fellas" remarked the Chairman before leaving as the WWE Universe roared. You know what they say about karma, boys?</div>

The All Mighty has been very vocal as of late about being better than the Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle. And after The Olympic Hero took Chad Gable under his wing, he too became embroiled in this ongoing feud. Bobby Lashley took to the ring this week, looking to outdo Angle and his new protege, defeating Titus O'Neil with a thunderous Spear. Moments after the match, Lashley stood alongside his adviser, Lio Rush and the self-proclaimed "Man of the Hour" spoke on behalf of his client, laying out an official challenge to The Olympic Hero, for a one-on-one match at WWE No Mercy. Rush claimed that Bobby Lashley would prove to the world that he is more of an athlete than Kurt Angle ever has been, and vows to make the legacy of Kurt Angle pale in comparison to his own. "All hail The All Mighty, Bobby Lashley!" he bellowed to boos from the WWE Universe. Will Angle accept the challenge?</div>

Just 24 hours after her brutal title defence against Shayna Baszler at ECW One Night Stand, The Man brushed herself off and arrived on WWE Raw to continue to be the fighting Champion she promised to be. Lynch went into action against Alexa Bliss in singles action, with the thought of her next title defence against Ronda Rousey at WWE No Mercy on her mind after Rousey picked up a huge win earlier in the night. The Women's World Champion was able to defeat Little Miss Bliss with her signature Dis-Arm-Her, forcing her opponent to submit. Moments after the closing bell, the number one contender came to the ring and at first began to congratulate Becky Lynch, raising her hand and seemingly continuing her support of The Man that she had shown in recent weeks. But when Becky least expected it, Rousey struck, beating her down to the mat and wrenching away at her arm in a vicious attack. The Rowdy One refused to let go until another official arrived on the scene to break the hold. It seems that Ronda Rousey's support for Becky Lynch may have been just a tad exaggerated. Who knew?</div>

The whole night has been rocked by Mr. McMahon's presence, leaving no stone unturned. The Chairman has changed the entire landscape of WWE Raw in a single night, but perhaps nothing will top what happened here tonight as he entered the arena for the final time and stood before the WWE Universe, surprisingly requesting the presence of both Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H. The Game and The Texas Rattlesnake made their way to the ring and in a scene that almost looked like it had been plucked straight out of the Attitude Era, all three men stood in the ring together. Mr. McMahon explained that having seen the true chaos that had been allowed to spread across WWE Raw, he sees that the only way order can be restored is if one single individual is in control of the brand. Would he choose his long-time arch-nemesis Stone Cold Steve Austin? Or would he pick his son-in-law, Triple H? The answer - neither. Instead, the boss laid out an earth-shattering announcement that the true figurehead of WWE Raw would be decided the only way that we know how - in the ring. At WWE No Mercy, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H will lace up their boots one last time to fight for control of the red brand. The WWE Universe exploded with the announcement as Austin and Triple H came face-to-face, realising that they must do battle for the last time in the name of power. The former Power Trip collide at WWE No Mercy for the first time in over a decade. Which of these iconic competitors will reign supreme and take charge of WWE Raw?</div>

Shelton Benjamin; Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan get a piece of The Beast</b></div>

Since emerging on WWE Raw, Brock Lesnar has not competed in an official match until tonight. Thanks to Mr. McMahon and his whirlwind appearance on tonight's episode, The Beast was forced to compete in the main event just two weeks before he competes for the WWE World Championship along with Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. Stepping up to the challenge, Brock Lesnar's old college buddy, Shelton Benjamin went head-to-head with the destructive competitor, looking to capitalise on Lesnar's success to revive his own. However, he proved to be no match for an extremely focused Lesnar who dismantled the former Intercontinental Champion and after a series of German suplexes that had the crowd chanting "Suplex City!", he finished off his adversary with an F-5. But as he stood tall over his fallen foe, he was struck out of nowhere by two men who have a bone to pick with The Beast. A thunderous Spear by The Big Dog took Lesnar down to the canvas, the WWE Universe erupting into cheers. But Lesnar's plight wasn't over yet as the WWE World Champion emerged and flew from the top rope with a diving headbutt, followed by the LeBelle Lock! After giving Lesnar some pain, Bryan released the hold allowing him to retreat up the aisle. In an unlikely scenario, Reigns and Bryan stood side-by-side as The Beast quickly scurried up the ramp in a fit of rage. Now he had been taken down a peg and it seemed that the playing field had been levelled. Each man on equal terms. But who will leave No Mercy in two weeks as the WWE World Champion?</div></div>

The Nature Boy emerged to kick things off on tonight's edition of WCW Nitro, looking to address the WCW Universe regarding a big announcement. The Hall of Famer explained that WCW Nitro had set the tradition of brand exclusive pay-per-view events in the New Era, stemming from the highly successful WCW SuperBrawl. With that said, he went on to reveal that it was time for yet another spectacular to hit the screens, exclusively announcing that in four weeks time, we would see yet another pay-per-view event from the explosive brand - WCW Spring Stampede. The returning event would be the second instalment of WCW exclusives, and Flair promised it would be even bigger than the last. But moving onto more present matters, The Nature Boy addressed tonight's huge main event between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins in a WCW World Championship contest, calling it a must-see collision and wished luck to both competitors. But that isn't the only huge bout scheduled for the show, as Flair declared that we will see AJ Styles collide with The Velveteen Dream one-on-one, as well as a Champion versus Champion match between the WCW United States Champion, Adam Cole and the WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Ali - and that match is right now! Ric Flair was wasting no time making tonight's episode a memorable one.</div>

<img src="https://i.imgur.com/QU7lhR4.png"><div style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>United States Champion Adam Cole def. Cruiserweight Champion Ali</b></div>

It isn't often you see two Champions cross paths, but in recent weeks, an ongoing "turf war" of sorts has been taking over WCW Nitro, as Adam Cole's Undisputed ERA engaged in conflict with Ricochet, The War Raiders and of course, Ali. The two title holders did battle to kick off tonight's action, and surprisingly, Cole came to ringside alone, apparently refusing the support of his allies in favour of proving himself against the Cruiserweight Champion, vowing to be superior to Ali. But it was too good to be true when Roderick Strong appeared out of nowhere and drilled Ali with his own Cruiserweight Championship while Cole distracted the official. Cole was able to drill Ali with the Last Shot to secure the victory, standing tall on this night as the superior Champion. The Undisputed ERA have once again stolen the win, but Adam Cole needs to remember that he still owes The One and Only, Ricochet a fair rematch for that United States Championship, and that won't be forgotten anytime soon.</div>

After a slight war of words over Twitter between Elias and R-Truth over who's music was better, this match was sanctioned by General Manager, Ric Flair. Unluckily for Elias, it just happened to be a flop, as he suffered yet another loss, this time at the hands of the former United States Champion as Truth hit him with the Lil' Jimmy to secure the win. Celebrating with the crowd, R-Truth laid out a few bars poking fun at The Living Truth to the delight of the WCW Universe. Except, for some reason, Truth ended the rap by thanking the crowd for their participation on this live edition of "WCW Thunder". Can somebody tell Truth where he actually is?</div>

The War Raiders might have come up short in last week's eight-man bout with The Undisputed ERA, but in regular tag team action they have been unstoppable, their sights firmly set on the WCW Tag Team Championships. This week, the duo of Hanson and Rowe continued their dominance with a victory over former Tag Team Champions, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Despite the valiant efforts of The Good Brothers, they proved to be no match for these viking warriors who picked up the victory with their signature Fallout. As they celebrated their victory, The Undisputed ERA were shown watching from backstage on a monitor, realising that when the times comes, they will be forced to defend their titles against this up and coming team. Will Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish be able to hold onto their gold when they come face-to-face with The War Raiders?</div>

<img src="https://i.imgur.com/HmydVqA.png"><div style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Asuka def. Charlotte Flair</b></div>

Despite returning to WCW Nitro on fantastic form last week in tag team action, Charlotte Flair was taken back down a peg when she went head-to-head with Asuka on tonight's episode. The Empress of Tomorrow looked to avenge the loss that herself and Kairi Sane suffered, and did just that by forcing The Queen to submit to the Asuka Lock as Lacey Evans watched from ringside in disgust. Evans regrouped with Flair on the outside as Kairi Sane entered to stand beside Asuka and the four women engaged in an intense staredown. With the Women's World Championship currently being contested for over on WWE Raw, it makes you wonder if these WCW Nitro women deserve their own gold to fight for?</div>

The path of destruction continues as Samoa Joe strikes again. Just weeks after he dismantled the entire Lucha House Party for no apparent reason, Joe struck again by assaulting Shinsuke Nakamura just moments before their scheduled match. The Destroyer ambushed Nakamura from behind and applied the Coquina Clutch, putting The King of Strong Style to sleep in mere moments. The blindside attack left Nakamura laying as the official in the ring rushed out to try and prevent any further damage to the Japanese superstar. Joe wiped his mouth as he backed away, a sinister scowl on his face, almost like an animal who had killed his prey. What is the meaning of this behaviour, and when will it end?</div>

<img src="https://i.imgur.com/KKk3LUz.png"><div style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>AJ Styles def. The Velveteen Dream via disqualification</b></div>

It seems that The Velveteen Dream simply can't complete a match without some sort of controversy. Much like last week, the flamboyant superstar got himself disqualified in this contest that was supposed to settle the score between him and AJ Styles. He opted to strike his adversary with a low blow rather than see out the rest of the match, dropping The Phenomenal One to his knees with a smile on his face. The Dream didn't stop there, continuing to stomp down on his rival to make the message clear, that he wasn't going to let Styles get the better of him at any point, and this was a warning that he will always be one step ahead. Of course, this isn't over between these two men, and Styles has always been a man to follow through everything to the end, and this rivalry will be no different. The Dream better watch himself, because when AJ Styles has a target, he doesn't stop until he hits it.</div>

<img src="https://i.imgur.com/FHGhMt3.png"><div style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Ricochet def. Roderick Strong</b></div>

The Undisputed ERA seem to have it in for The One and Only ever since he came within moments of defeating Adam Cole for the United States Championship a few weeks ago, and that resulted in him being the target of many assaults on behalf of the black and yellow quartet. Tonight, Ricochet had the opportunity to get one-up on his rivals as he was granted a one-on-one battle with Roderick Strong and as per Ric Flair, the other members of Undisputed would be barred from ringside. With the outside interference squashed after Adam Cole's match earlier in the night with Ali was ruined by it (by Roderick Strong himself nonetheless), The One and Only was able to score an impressive victory with his unbelievable 630 Senton, putting the Messiah of the Backbreaker away and all but solidifying his position as number one contender to the United States Championship. No doubt Adam Cole was watching on in fury, knowing that his battle with Ricochet is inevitable.</div>

What began as an interim General Manager position while Ric Flair recuperated, has now turned into much more. Shane McMahon informed Ric Flair last week that he would be sticking around on the explosive brand, despite The Nature Boy having returned to full health, and while the Hall of Famer was originally open to the idea, he may not be too happy that The Prodigal Son took to the ring tonight to create a position solely for his own use - Commissioner. Shane-O-Mac declared that he would oversee the events of WCW Nitro on a weekly basis to ensure the show runs smoothly and to the best of its ability, claiming that his father was getting stuck in on WWE Raw, so he is here to do the same for Nitro. The WCW Universe were not quite sure what to make of this news, unsure what Shane's intentions are, but McMahon continued by explaining that he has already made some changes to come to he feels will benefit the brand. What could they be? And what does Ric Flair think of this new management structure?</div>

Andrade "Cien" Almas; Sting emerged from the shadows</b></div>

Andrade talks a big game, but he should know better than to disrespect an Icon like Sting. The self-proclaimed "Pride of Mexico" took on his old rival, Rey Mysterio in singles action for the first time since their encounter at WCW SuperBrawl, and looked to be heading towards another victory over the former World Champion. But the tide quickly turned when the lights went out mid-match and a spotlight shone on the entrance stage, showing The Stinger standing there, a solid stare directly into the soul of Andrade Almas. Shaken, Andrade stumbled back as the lights came back on and Mysterio rolled him up into a cradle to claim the victory. Sting had taught Almas a lesson, that you can never turn your back when The Icon is around and the man comes calling. Zelina Vega tended to her client as he looked up the aisle in horror, still staring into the beady eyes of Sting. Andrade will no doubt rue the day that he crossed The Stinger.</div>

Seth Rollins to retain the WCW World Championship; Dolph Ziggler viciously assaults Rollins, and then McIntyre after the match</b></div>

The long-awaited collision had finally arrived and Drew McIntyre was set to defend his WCW World Championship against The Kingslayer, Seth Rollins. But it wasn't all that simple. The match began as the hard-hitting contest we expected, but surprisingly McIntyre hit a high-impact move right out of the gate, planting Rollins with a Future Shock DDT and almost securing an upset. However, The Architect battled on and even claimed control of the match with a series of moves of his own, hitting a huge suicide dive. But as the fight returned to the ring, the official was caught up in the action and ended up being sent crashing out of the ring thanks to a clothesline from The Sinister Scot. But this didn't stop Rollins trying to put the nail in the coffin, battling back and hitting his signature Stomp on the WCW World Champion. But with the official down, nobody was there to count the three. And this was the moment that took everyone by surprise. Dolph Ziggler emerged and unleashed a vicious assault on the number one contender! The Showoff had arrived out of nowhere and taken out Rollins with a heinous attack, culminating in a Zig Zag. As Ziggler hopped back out of the ring, the official came to, and so did McIntyre as he delivered a thunderous Claymore to his adversary, picking up the victory to retain the gold. The Scottish Psychopath stood tall as he was handed his WCW World Championship by Ziggler himself, seemingly reuniting the pair from their dominant days as a team. But the twists and turns just kept on coming... Ziggler delivered a Superkick to McIntyre! He laid out the Champion with one swift kick and stood over his former tag team partner before picking up the WCW World Championship himself. Dolph Ziggler stood tall amongst the fallen bodies of Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, making a statement of his own and shocking the world. Show... off.</div></div>

Dean Ambrose may have lost his Loser Leaves ECW Match to Jeff Hardy at One Night Stand, but somehow he found himself landing the number one contendership position on the same night. Taking advantage of Paul Heyman's criteria for the Extreme Open Battle Royal, The Lunatic Fringe entered the match as a free agent and went on to win. Ambrose opened up tonight's episode of ECW with a smile on his face, realising he had outsmarted the system and got exactly what he wanted. Addressing the ECW faithful, he explained that he was always going to reach the top, and no contract could ever stop him. He reminded everyone what he did to Finn Bálor as the One Night Stand event came to an end, and promised that the same would happen when he takes the ECW World Championship from him. But Ambrose's speech was interrupted by the arrival of Paul Heyman, who confronted the free agent regarding his status. The Father of ECW claimed that Dean Ambrose had been wise to capitalise on a minor detail, and respected that, but requested that he re-signed his ECW contract to make the title match official. However, it wasn't to be that simple, as Ambrose refused to sign a new deal and instead opted to remain a free agent with his title opportunity intact, and revealed his intentions to walk out of ECW with the World Championship, leaving The Land of Extreme without one. Heyman became enraged at the thought and informed Dean Ambrose that while he may not be contract, he is standing inside his ring, and that gives him grounds to make him compete, revealing that tonight's main event would see Dean Ambrose take on the man he screwed out of the Extreme Open Battle Royal - Rob Van Dam! Suddenly, The Whole F'n Show appeared and dropped The Lunatic Fringe with a diving kick, sending him through the ropes and out of the ring. Dean Ambrose will regret the day he crossed Paul Heyman.</div></p><p> </p><p>

At ECW One Night Stand, David conquered Goliath. The impressive extremist now has the task of holding onto that gold and taking on all comers, and Oney Lorcan was the first man to rise to occasion. Agreeing to defend his title against anyone at any time, Dunne gladly went head-to-head with the tough talent of Lorcan, and was able to cement his place as ECW Television Champion with a victory, planting him with a Bitter End to seal the deal. After the match, The Bruiserweight celebrated with the ECW faithful behind him, looking forward to his undoubtedly bright future.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The Dudley Boyz may have captured the ECW Tag Team Championships, but their night was far from celebratory. Mere moments after they defeated The Bludgeon Brothers in a gruelling Tables Match, the uninvited trio of Akam, Rezar and Drake Maverick - collectively known as The Authors of Pain - arrived and destroyed the Hall of Fame duo. Tonight, the destructive pair made their extreme debut, defeating The Ascension with relative ease, crushing Viktor with The Last Chapter for the victory. If anyone has a reason to be furious after ECW One Night Stand, it's Shayna Baszler. The Queen of Spades found herself on the losing end of a roll-up, courtesy of Becky Lynch who retained the Women's World Championship in the process, handing Baszler her first defeat. She emerged on tonight's episode as part of an Eight-Woman Tag Team Match, set up by Paul Heyman to showcase the female talent of ECW, and she all but dismantled her set of adversaries all by herself. Baszler was in no mood for pleasantries as she tore through the opposing team, leaving The Riott Squad somewhat stunned. But moments after she had forced Dana Brooke into submission with the Kirifuda Clutch, she turned her attention to her allies, attacking Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan, throwing them from the ring before applying another Kirifuda Clutch to Liv Morgan. He may have wanted to TakeOver at ECW One Night Stand, but it didn't quite happen as he came up short against Finn Bálor in an incredible ECW World Championship contest. He made his way to the ring and picked up a microphone, addressing the ECW faithful to a mixed reaction. He started by explaining that he knew full well that he had crossed the line, but it was a necessary move to get where he needed to be. Although now he claims that he has let the desire to be at the top turn him into something he hates, and that is why he must go back to the drawing board and start again. Seemingly turning over a new leaf, Gargano promised to be a better version of himself from here on out, and earn the right to be called "Johnny Wrestling" again. He dropped the microphone and left ringside, his emotional address appearing to hit hard for the ECW crowd. He seems genuinely remorseful, and who doesn't want to see Johnny Wrestling back at his best?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Kassius Ohno</b></div></p><p>

Talk about a foul mood. Lars Sullivan was enraged after losing to Pete Dunne in the finals of the ECW Television Championship Tournament, and it showed tonight as he took out his frustrations on an unfortunate Kassius Ohno. The Knockout Artist held his own as expected, battling punch for punch with The Freak, but when Sullivan kicked it into the next gear after being directed by his adviser, Drew Gulak at ringside, the monstrous competitor bulldozed his way through Ohno and planted him with a Freak Accident for the victory. Clearly, the loss at ECW One Night Stand has not sat well with the big man or his companion, and as Gulak shouted "Justice will be served!" over the boos of the ECW faithful, you have to wonder who is going to stop him.</div></p><p> </p><p>

No Way Jose; Bray Wyatt invites everyone to join The Family and "let him in"</b></div></p><p>

It was a successful night for The Family after Bray Wyatt was able to defeat Aleister Black inside a steel cage. Not only that, but Killian Dain put on an impressive showing in the Extreme Open Battle Royal, eliminating multiple participants including two ECW legends, Sabu and the Sandman. The Beast of Belfast continued his dominance tonight with a decisive victory over No Way Jose with the Ulster Plantation. The leader of The Family, Bray Wyatt stepped into the ring to congratulate the monstrous combatant before addressing the world with a cryptic message. The Eater of Worlds invited everyone watching to join The Family, and all they had to do was simple - "Let me in".</div></p><p> </p><p>

Jeff Hardy</b></div></p><p>

Jeff Hardy was victorious at ECW One Night Stand, successfully defeating Dean Ambrose in a Loser Leaves ECW Match. While it may not have had the desired effect (see Dean Ambrose's Extreme Open Battle Royal victory), he was the winner nonetheless, and looked ahead to his future in The Land of Extreme. But almost immediately, The Charismatic Enigma hit a roadblock in the form of Tommaso Ciampa. With his partner in crime, Johnny Gargano seemingly out of action while he "returns to the drawing board", it's time for Ciampa to find his own footing in ECW, and he did just that with a surprising victory over the former World Champion. Hardy looked to continue his momentum heading into this one, but The Psycho Killer seemed intent on making a name for himself as a singles competitor. Utilising anything he could get his hands on, the psychotic competitor threw it all at Hardy from steel chairs to Singapore canes, and ultimately put Jeff Hardy away with the Project Ciampa. The Psycho Killer stood tall, shouting that he was the new face of ECW, and who can argue with him after a performance like that?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Perhaps there is no man more sadistic and twisted than Kevin Owens. A man who not only turned his back on his best friend, but attempted to end his career in the process. At ECW One Night Stand, it was Kevin Owens that walked away from the carnage that was his match with Sami Zayn, leaving his former friend in a pool of his own blood, suffering from second degree burns and in a heap on the canvas. The words "Holy shit" still resonate with the ECW faithful after what they witnessed. Kevin Owens made his way to the ring tonight to address the horrifying bout that undoubtedly left both men scarred for life. But The Prizefighter showed no remorse at all, going as far as to say that he enjoyed every second of it. He even turned everyone's attention to the titantron where he showed still shots of him brutalising his former ally, including the moment he sent Zayn crashing through a flaming table. His parting words were crystal clear - "I am the better man, Sami. Remember it". And with that, Owens took his leave to chants of "**** you, Owens" from the emotional crowd. But he didn't care, his duty had been served as far as he is concerned.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Rob Van Dam; Finn Bálor gets some revenge on The Lunatic Fringe</b></div></p><p>

He may have found a loophole in the system, but Dean Ambrose's actions may have come back to haunt him. First off, his main event match with Rob Van Dam saw The Whole F'n Show unleash a furious attack on The Lunatic Fringe, getting some payback for being screwed out of the Extreme Open Battle Royal at ECW One Night Stand. But despite Van Dam's best efforts, Ambrose was able to hang on long enough to see an opening and drop RVD on his head with a Dirty Deeds for the victory. And just as Ambrose thought he could finish his night and go home, a certain somebody wanted to return the favour from One Night Stand - the ECW World Champion, Finn Bálor. The Extraordinary Man arrived and took Ambrose by surprise, laying into him with a flurry of shots to the head before sending him over the ropes and out with a huge dropkick. And it didn't end there. The Lunatic Fringe got to his feet and looked to scarper while he could, but Bálor wasn't about to let him get away yet, and threw himself over the ropes with an unbelievable plancha, taking down the number one contender to the delight of the ECW faithful. The ECW World Champion stood tall as Ambrose quickly scurried away, holding his head and midsection in pain. His actions at ECW One Night Stand have definitely had repercussions, and just a few days removed from that successful night, Ambrose is left suffering the consequences as he is sent packing not once, but twice in one night.</div></div></p><p> </p><p>

The dust is still settling from last week's earth-shaking return by the Chairman, Mr. McMahon, And many superstars felt the power of his monumental return. The WWE World Champion, Daniel Bryan emerged to kick off WWE Raw tonight and addressed McMahon's arrival, claiming that he should have spent less time focusing on things that don't matter, and instead focus on the things that do, namely the "injustice" of Daniel Bryan being forced to defend his title against two men at WWE No Mercy. The Planet's Champion demanded that Mr. McMahon come out to the ring and fix the situation, while he still has the chance. But instead of the Chairman, he was greeted by one of his challengers, Roman Reigns. The Big Dog walked to the ring with a smirk, chuckling at Bryan's demands before telling him that this Sunday, it doesn't matter if it's two guys, three guys or ten guys, he is walking out as the new WWE World Champion. But just as the pair were seemingly about to come to blows, Mr. McMahon did indeed show his face. The WWE World Champion expressed his relief and granted him the time to fix his "problem", only that wasn't what he was here for, and he made sure Bryan knew it by telling him to "shut the hell up" to the delight of the WWE Universe. The boss explained that he wasn't here to make any changed to No Mercy's main event, but he was here to address tonight's. The Chairman revealed that to make things interesting, he would require both Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns to co-exist in tag team action. The Planet's Champion erupted with rage while Reigns didn't look too keen on the idea either. But Mr. McMahon's word is final, and he wished the pair luck, but failed to reveal who their opponents would be. Who will meet Reigns and Bryan in tonight's weird and wonderful main event?</div>

The Usos & The Street Profits</b></div>

Four out of five teams participating in the huge Tag Team Turmoil Match at WWE No Mercy for the WWE Tag Team Championships went into battle tonight in an Eight-Man Tag Team bout. As revealed via WWE.com, the remaining challenging team, Breezango would receive a rematch with The Revival tonight after last week's match was ruined by the reigning Champions themselves. But the opening contest here was a perfect preview of things to come with bodies flying everywhere towards the close of the match. Kofi Kingston launched himself into a see of superstars with an impressive plancha, as well as The Usos unloading a superkick rally on everyone in sight. But the end came when Heavy Machinery isolated Angelo Dawkins in the ring and delivered the Trash Compactor for the victory. Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic stood tall in celebration before being confronted by their tag team partners, soon to become opponents this Sunday - The New Day. The two teams shared a respectful handshake and also gave a nod of respect to the two teams on the outside, The Usos and The Street Profits. These four units have a great deal of respect for each other, which is more than can be said for the WWE Tag Team Champions who will take on Breezango in a rematch tonight.</div>

Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush laid out the challenge last week, finally agreeing to face Kurt Angle at the WWE-exclusive event. And The Olympic Gold Medalist came to Raw tonight with one answer in mind - "I accept". But before that, the companions would do battle as Lashley's adviser, Lio Rush went head-to-head with Angle's protege, Chad Gable. The two incredible athletes did battle as their allies watched on from ringside, but as Gable looked to be gaining the advantage, The All Mighty got involved, pulling at his legs. Before the official could step in, Angle had already made a beeline for his rival, engaging in a brawl with Lashley. But the distraction was enough to allow Rush to rake the eyes of his adversary and plant him with a Rolling Unprettier and score the victory. Rush and Lashley quickly fled from ringside as Angle slid into the ring to tend to his fallen friend. The battle will be on this Sunday at WWE No Mercy, that's for sure.</div>

As the 16-time World Champion prepares to do battle with The Lone Wolf at No Mercy this Sunday, he was given the opportunity to have one more warm-up, this time against a formidable foe in Mike Kanellis. With his wife, Maria at ringside, Kanellis looked to pick up the biggest victory in his entire career with an upset over John Cena, but you should never count out the iconic superstar no matter what. He bounced back and planted Kanellis with an Attitude Adjustment, just moments away from securing the win, but it was at that moment that Baron Corbin chose to strike, blindsiding his rival and ending the match via disqualification. Corbin went on to continue his assault and planted Cena with an End of Days in the center of the ring, standing tall over his No Mercy adversary. The Lone Wolf has gained the upper hand heading into this Sunday's clash, but will he be able to pull it off on the night?</div>

Who flipped the switch on the time machine? Mr. McMahon did. And that's because he revealed that Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H will reignite their age old rivalry for one more match at WWE No Mercy with the control of WWE Raw on the line. The Game made his way to the ring tonight to address the blockbuster match and his opponent this Sunday, immediately declaring his superiority over the Hall of Famer. Triple H explained that Mr. McMahon must have lost his mind if he thinks that there's any chance of Stone Cold even walking out of No Mercy in one piece, promising to put an end to The Texas Rattlesnake's career once and for all. He went on to remind everyone who held the WWE on his shoulders after Austin hung up his boots, reigning as World Champion on multiple occasions throughout the following decade. But as he went on to continue his tirade, he was interrupted by Austin himself to the delight of the WWE Universe. He confronted his No Mercy opponent and told him that his retirement was the hardest decision he has ever had to make, feeling like he had let everybody down, but coming out of retirement for this match with Triple H was a pretty easy decision. Austin got in The Game's face and told him that he have been out of action for over 15 years, but he can still open a can of whoop-ass when he needs to. These words angered Triple H who went to deliver a kick to the gut of Austin, hoping for a Pedigree, but the Hall of Famer caught the foot and instead flipped the bird before delivering a Stone Cold Stunner! Stone Cold stood tall over Triple H as the crowd went wild, perhaps showing us what is to come this Sunday. Will Stone Cold Steve Austin maintain his position as General Manager of WWE Raw, or will The Game reign supreme and put Austin back into retirement for good?</div>

Bayley; Becky Lynch gets her hands on The Rowdy One</b></div>

So much for supportive Ronda Rousey. The former cage fighter showed her true colours last week after earning the right to become number one contender for the Women's World Championship at No Mercy, attacking Becky Lynch later in the night after her match with Alexa Bliss. The Rowdy One continued to demonstrate her new attitude tonight, showing no remorse for what she did, and taking out more of her frustrations on Lynch's good friend, Bayley. The number one contender picked up the win by forcing The Huggable One to submit to the sickening armbar. But when Rousey appeared to be continuing her assault as a message to Lynch, The Man emerged and came to the aid of her friend, trading blows with her No Mercy challenger, and even sending her crashing to the outside with a clothesline. Rousey retreated as Becky checked on Bayley, but the damage had already been done. The smirk on Ronda Rousey's face told the full story as she motioned around her waist. These two women collide this Sunday with the Women's World Championship on the line.</div>

Their days as WWE Tag Team Champions may be numbered as The Revival suffered another loss to Breezango tonight on WWE Raw. Albeit, the contest also featured the other four teams involved in this Sunday's Tag Team Turmoil Match as they arrived at ringside acting as a distraction for Dash and Dawson. The New Day, The Usos, The Street Profits and Heavy Machinery all made their presence felt during the bout, which allowed Tyler Breeze and Fandango to gain an advantage and secure the victory thanks to a Beauty Shot from Prince Pretty. The five challenging teams stood in union as The Revival quickly scurried up the aisle with their titles clutched to their chests. It will be every team for themselves this Sunday, and the last remaining team standing will capture the gold, but for now, we all stand together against The Revival.</div>

Extreme Championship Wrestling, eat your heart out! The Chairman once again made his way out to the ring for the second time tonight, this time holding a very familiar item in his right hand - the WWE Hardcore Championship. The title that has been defunct since 2002 had finally made its return to WWE Raw, and Mr. McMahon was proud to announce that a new Champion would be found this Sunday. Revealing a 15-Minute Open Challenge Match for WWE No Mercy, Mr. McMahon declared that we would have ourselves a Hardcore Champion one way or another once the 15 minutes are up. No disqualifications, no countouts, falls count anywhere and everyone is eligible. The chaos of the Hardcore Championship has returned to our screens, and it's time to get hardcore!</div>

This competitive one-on-one encounter quickly turned ugly when Braun Strowman stormed to the ring and began decimating both men, forcing the official to throw out the match. The Monster Among Men laid waste to both Jordan and Benjamin, until a familiar face from last week once again emerged - The Big Red Monster, Kane. The former World Champion arrived amidst the fire and flames, confronting Strowman for the second week in a row. But instead of coming to blows, the pair turned their attention to the other competitors in the ring with Kane delivering a Chokeslam to Jason Jordan, and Strowman planting Shelton Benjamin with a running powerslam moments later. In what appeared to be a one-upsmanship situation, these two monsters stood face-to-face, and just moments after this titanic confrontation, it was announced via WWE.com that the pair will collide this Sunday at WWE No Mercy. Hold on to your seats, this one's going to be monstrous.</div>

It was clear that The Miz inviting his challenger for the Intercontinental Championship, Tyler Bate onto MizTV tonight was never going to end well. And you could say, that was pretty accurate as it ended in pure chaos. The A-Lister presented yet another edition of his infamous MizTV segment and introduced his special guest, Tyler Bate who he will defend the title against this Sunday at WWE No Mercy. Initially, the segment went off without a hitch, albeit filled with The Miz's jibes towards his No Mercy adversary. But when the young British superstar began to retaliate with some verbal barbs of his own, the Intercontinental Champion became agitated and got aggressive, shoving around his smaller challenger. Tyler Bate wasn't going to stand there and take that, and so slapped The Miz across the face to the delight of the WWE Universe. However, he paid the prixe for his actions when Miz delivered a boot between the legs, dropping Bate down with a low blow and proceeding to unleash a furious assault on Bate. The A-Lister finished off the segment with a Skull-Crushing Finale, leaving the number one contender laying and standing tall heading into No Mercy this Sunday. Will he be able to reign supreme on the night?</div>

The Hardy Boyz</b></div>

Mr. McMahon kept his cards very close to his chest when it came to Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns' opponents tonight, and it was well worth the wait as the shock reunion of The Hardy Boyz had the arena in a frenzy. Pulling some strings with his universal power over the company, the Chairman had sworn in ECW's Jeff Hardy to reunite with his brother Matt to reform one of the greatest tag teams in history, all to test the mettle of the WWE World Champion and one of his challengers. After the initial shock factor had died down, a competitive match ensued and back and forth the two teams went with The Hardyz displaying some classic offence, but surprisingly, The Big Dog and The Planet's Champion were co-existing quite well, even working together in tandem on occasions. But when the opening arose for Reigns to deliver a thunderous Spear to Matt Hardy for the win, Daniel Bryan swooped in an struck with a running knee to his tag team partner! The WWE World Champion laid out his challenger just moments before the end of the match and stole the victory for himself. It was always going to be too good to be true, and Daniel Bryan had once again got the upper hand over one of his two No Mercy adversaries. And speaking of the other challenger, Brock Lesnar, we were shown the backstage area where The Beast himself was stood, observing the events that had just unfolded before walking out of view. The Triple Threat main event is sure to be one you won't want to miss.</div></div>

When Dolph Ziggler emerged during the main event last week, it was safe to assume that he would be helping out his old partner, Drew McIntyre in retaining his WCW World Championship against Seth Rollins. And yes, he did do just that. But moments after assisting McIntyre with his victory, The Show-off struck The Scottish Psychopath as well, becoming the last man standing on last week's edition of Nitro. Dolph Ziggler made his way to the ring to address his action, much to the chagrin of the WCW Universe who were not delighted to see The Show-off at all. He began to explain that last week was a long time coming, claiming to have been overlooked by senior management for far too long. Becoming increasingly aggressive, Ziggler declared that it should have been him who won the Men's Royal Rumble Match. It should have been him who beat AJ Styles to become the WCW World Champion. According to Ziggler, the agreement between him and Drew McIntyre was that they would take each other to the top and take over WCW Nitro as one, but instead he was left in the dust and forgotten as always. "But now, all that changed" he declared, "because I'm going to stop at nothing until I get what I deserve, and that's the WCW World Championship". The Show-off glared into the camera with a somewhat deranged expression, making a clear statement that he was going to make WCW Nitro hell for anyone who would get in his way. And tonight, he vowed to take down Seth Rollins in the main event, and prove to the world why it should have been him.</div></p><p> </p><p>

It seems that Joe's path of destruction had encountered a roadblock, and that roadblock goes by the name Shinsuke Nakamura. Last week, The Destroyer took it upon himself to ambush The King of Strong Style moments before their scheduled match, resulting in the bout being discarded. This week, the match had been reset and the pair of old rivals went head-to-head on WCW Nitro. Joe displayed his aggression as always, but Nakamura was just as feisty, holding his own against the merciless competitor. But when The Samoan Submission Machine went to apply his signature Coquina Clutch, The Rockstar transformed the hold into a small package and picked up a shock victory over his adversary. Nakamura retreated with the WCW Universe's support behind him, Joe looking on in a fit of rage. The Destroyer grabbed the official by the scruff of the neck and demanded he rethink the decision, but it was final, and Nakamura gave a smirk to his opponent before gesturing towards him and screaming "Come onnnnnn!". The King of Strong Style had got one-up on Samoa Joe, for sure.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The women's division has continued to grow week in, week out, and with the Women's World Championship most recently focused within WWE Raw, the women of WCW Nitro have been showcasing their ability all the more. Another example of this was an impressive victory for Peyton Royce over former Women's Champion, Carmella as her best friend, Billie Kay cheered her on from ringside. The Australian Sensation was able to put The Princess of Staten Island away with a Venus Fly-Trap and pick up the victory, gaining The IIconics some much-needed momentum. Last week, we saw The War Raiders demonstrate their dominance in tag team action as they defeated The Good Brothers. The WCW Tag Team Champions were watching on from backstage, and were clearly concerned about the impending threat, but tonight, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish took to the ring, flanked by Roderick Strong and the WCW United States Champion, Adam Cole. The Undisputed ERA picked up an equally dominant victory over Lucha House Party, specifically Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik. The masked luchadores could not answer the offence of the former reDragon and The Golden Lynx fell victim to Total Elimination, handing the champs a victory. After the match, The Undisputed ERA stood united in celebration, showing any of their challengers that they are not to be intimidated. Can Adam Cole replicate his allies' success later tonight when he goes one-on-one with the legendary Rey Mysterio?</div></p><p> </p><p>

When Shane McMahon revealed his self-made position of "Commissioner" last week, it was clear that something was going on, and it seems that The Prodigal Son might have let his brief stint as Interim General Manager go to his head. Using his McMahon name to assign himself the role, Shane called the current General Manager of WCW Nitro, Ric Flair into his office to discuss some "concerns" he had regarding the brand. Shane explained that he was worried that Ric Flair's personal emotions getting in the way of his judgement, such as his history with The Velveteen Dream. While The Nature Boy denied any issues and asked Shane what this was really about, the "Commissioner" stated that he was going to be overseeing Flair's performance over the next few weeks running up to WCW Spring Stampede and would give him feedback at the pay-per-view event. The 16-time World Champion looked on in confusion and anger as Shane McMahon left the office. What is Shane McMahon's problem?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Eight of WCW's greatest high-flyers went into battle tonight to find out who would receive the opportunity to challenge Ali for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship next week. Bodies quickly began to fly everywhere with eliminations all over. Ariya Daivari and TJP were the first to be eliminated, followed shortly after by Akira Tozawa. A surprising elimination for Noam Dar saw him dump Tony Nese over the ropes leaving four men remaining. The former number one contender, Hideo Itami unleashed his aggression on his remaining opponents, only to find himself sent over the ropes with his own momentum, courtesy of Kalisto. The luchadore was then sent over and out himself by Noam Dar, but ultimately it was Cedric Alexander with an impressive roundhouse kick that eliminated Noam Dar, landing him the victory. ALexander celebrated with the WCW Universe and was surprised to see the WCW Cruiserweight Champion himself, Ali make an appearance and confront his new challenger. The pair shared a handshake with their title bout looming next week, one that is sure to be a must-see encounter.</div></p><p> </p><p>

You can't knock Andrade's guts, that's for sure. The self-proclaimed "Pride of Mexico" came to the ring with Zelina Vega this week to address his recent encounters with the legendary Sting. The brash superstar began ranting in his native language before explaining in broken English that he would give Sting the "privelege" of facing him at WCW Spring Stampede, only so that he can put The Icon down and prove to everyone that he is the only "icon" on WCW Nitro. Vega stepped in to officially invite the Hall of Famer to next week's WCW Nitro, face-to-face, man-to-man, away from the shadows. Will The Stinger show up to accept this bold challenge and once again step through the ropes for a match with El Idolo?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Kairi Sane</b></div></p><p>

It seems that The Queen had merely hit a bump in the road with her loss to Asuka last week, redeeming herself with a victory over The Empress of Tomorrow's ally, Kairi Sane. As Asuka looked on from ringside, she could do nothing but observe as the second generation superstar forced The Pirate Princess into submission with the Figure-Eight Leglock. Not to mention the added element of Lacey Evans at ringside, continuing to support her newfound best friend, Charlotte Flair during her matches. The Lady assisted Flair in her celebration as the pair of Japanese superstars retreated in disappointment, but the WCW Universe were not too happy at the result. Regardless, The Queen and The Lady stand tall tonight, with rumours of a new Women's Championship looming.</div></p><p> </p><p>

WCW United States Champion Adam Cole via disqualification</b></div></p><p>

Wherever Adam Cole goes, the rest of The Undisputed ERA surely follows, and that was true with Cole's non-title bout with Rey Mysterio tonight on WCW Nitro. The leader of Undisputed ERA went head-to-head with the legendary competitor, hoping to pick up a huge victory, but when he realised that he may have underestimated the ability of the former World Champion, he decided to call in some backup - enter Roderick Strong. The black and yellow ally of the United States Champion rushed the ring and attack Mysterio, forcing the official to call for a disqualification finish, but it didn't end there as Cole and Strong continued to beat down on Mysterio. That was until the arrival of some backup of his own in the form of Ricochet. The man who has felt the wrath of Undisputed ERA more than once in the past few weeks, came to the aid of one of his icons and stood side-by-side with Rey Mysterio as the quartet squared off. With The One and Only hunting Cole's United States Championship, this could have been a sign of things to come in the very near future.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The ongoing rivalry between AJ Styles nad The Velveteen Dream that stemmed from the number one contendership Fatal 4-Way bout a few weeks ago has been boiling over fast. After The Dream cost Styles his rematch with Drew McIntyre, and then ended their one-on-one contest with a low blow last week, tensions were higher than ever and The Phenomenal One hit the ring ready for some retribution. The former World Champion issued a direct message to the flamboyant superstar and invited him out to the ring to settle this man-to-man, and at first it seemed as though they were going to do exactly that. The Velveteen Dream emerged and strolled his way to the ring, within inches of climbing through the ropes, but before he set foot on the canvas, he shook his head and raised a microphone to his lips, simply declaring "No deal". He extended his arms with a smug smirk and hopped back off the ring apron before leaving up the aisle, AJ Styles infuriated by his disrespect. The Dream shrugged off the negativity from the WCW Universe and patronisingly blew a kiss and waved to The Phenomenal One as he stared a hole right back at him. The Dream is walking a fine line, and AJ Styles is not the man to cross when he is focused and angry.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Seth Rollins; Drew McIntyre attacked The Show-off after the match</b></div></p><p>

Friends? Enemies? Frienemies? It doesn't matter anymore, because the only thing that's for sure is that Dolph Ziggler is in it for himself, and he established that last week when he not only attacked Seth Rollins, costing him his opportunity at the WCW World Championship, but also attacked his former ally, Drew McIntyre post-match. As he stated at the top of the show, The Show-off refuses to be overlooked any longer, and is taking his spots for himself. His actions led to this stunning main event between Ziggler and Seth Rollins with The Kingslayer looking for some retribution. However, Ziggler's all-new attitude and aggression meant that he was extremely focused, and was able to defeat Rollins with a superkick, albeit after a few underhanded tactics throughout the contest. With the former World Champion now stood victorious over the former number one contender, he felt on top of the world with the WCW World Championship within his reach. Well it just so happened that the title was a lot closer than he thought... Drew McIntyre emerged and returned the favour on his former friend, blindsiding Ziggler and planting him in the center of the ring with a Future Shock DDT. The WCW World Champion raised the title above his head, bellowing "I am the Champion!" with his foot on Ziggler's chest, while Seth Rollins struggled to recover on the outside.</div></div></p><p> </p><p>

The Father of ECW was still very much frustrated with the current situation that landed Dean Ambrose with a shot at the ECW World Championship, despite being uncontracted thanks to his loss at One Night Stand to Jeff Hardy. Adding further fuel to the fire, The Lunatic Fringe revealed last week that he intends to win the ECW World Championship and walk out, leaving The Land of Extreme without its prestigious gold. Paul Heyman made his way to the ring tonight to address this chaotic situation and began by apologising to the ECW faithful for the disrespect shown by Ambrose. And it all seemed that Heyman was about to reveal that he had no choice but to revoke Ambrose's opportunity and suffer the legal consequences for his decision. However, before Heyman could make the call official, he was interrupted by the ECW World Champion himself, Finn Bálor who came to the ring to stop Heyman from putting himself at legal risk. The Extraordinary Man disagreed with the decision to strip Ambrose of his opportunity, and instead suggested that the match go ahead, allowing him the opportunity to prove himself as ECW World Champion. While Heyman initially looked reluctant, clearly realising that the ECW World Championship would be in danger, Bálor explained that he needed to beat Ambrose if he is to fly the flag for ECW going forward, and vowed to do his damnedest to make sure The Lunatic Fringe doesn't leave with the gold. After some though, Paul Heyman agreed to retract his decision and instead made it official that Finn Bálor will indeed defend the ECW World Championship against Dean Ambrose at the next One Night Stand event. Not only that, but Heyman revealed that tonight, Bálor would team up with Rob Van Dam to take on Dean Ambrose and a partner of his choosing tonight, assuming that The Lunatic Fringe has any friends left.</div>

Rusev to retain the ECW Television Championship</b></div>

Continuing his reign as a fighting Champion, The Bruiserweight once again stepped into a title defence, this time against The Bulgarian Brute, Rusev. The former United States Champion was looking to add some more gold to his resume as he went toe-to-toe with Pete Dunne, all the while Aiden English and his wife, Lana were watching on at ringside. The big man came close to capturing the title when he applied The Accolade to his opponent, but Dunne's determination allowed him to escape the hold and transform it into a Bitter End to put Rusev away. The Bruiserweight once again retains his ECW Television Championship and stands tall on ECW to the delight of the ECW faithful. Who will be next to step up to the plate and challenge Dunne for his championship gold?</div>

We're fairly certain that Tye Dillinger wouldn't give this match a "Perfect 10". The Man Beast was not playing around when he entered the arena tonight to go head-to-head with Dillinger, showing no mercy as he ran right through his adversary, showing his aggression and just how dangerous Rhyno can be. The former ECW World Champion not only pulled out a devastating piledriver on Dillinger, but finished him off with a sternum-splitting Gore to seal the deal. The Man Beast secured himself an impressive victory in swift fashion, showing everyone that he still has what it takes to run roughshod through The Land of Extreme.</div>

The arrival of The Authors of Pain was a highly discussed topic coming out of ECW One Night Stand, and last week they demonstrated just how dominant they are in competition as they dismantled The Ascension. This week, the pair along with their manager, Drake Maverick headed to the ring and issued a statement to the entire ECW locker room, with Maverick declaring a takeover of the ECW tag team division. He showed off a replay of what took place at One Night Stand when Akam and Rezar brutally attacked The Dudley Boyz following their ECW Tag Team Championship victory, and explained that it was just a small preview of things to come. But before Maverick could run his mouth any longer, Team 3-D arrived ready to get some revenge on their attackers. Maverick quickly scarpered out of harms way as Bubba Ray and D-Von entered through the ropes and engaged in an all-out brawl with The Authors of Pain. Security and officials rushed to ringside to separate the two teams with great struggle, leaving it only to the imagination over who would have come out on top. Will we see these two teams collide in the near future?</div>

As Bray Wyatt watched on like a proud father with the rest of The Family, Eric Young was able to score a huge victory over Kassius Ohno tonight on ECW. The Merchant of Mayhem put on an impressive display before the members of his Family and was able to avoid a KO Elbow from The Knockout Artist, delivering his own killing blow in the form of a wheelbarrow neckbreaker. As Eric Young stood victorious in the ring, The Eater of Worlds joined him and grabbed his head with both hands, kissing him on the forehead before embracing him. The uncomfortable display concluded with Bray Wyatt dropping to his knees as Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe stood behind him and he bellowed "My brothers... let me in!", followed by a terrifying display of lights flickering and screams heard through the arena, all alongside the sadistic chuckle of Wyatt himself. Our advice for the rest of ECW? Run.</div>

Ruby Riott; Bianca Belair steps up to confront The Queen of Spades</b></div>

After turning on her tag team partners after last week's Eight-Woman Tag Team bout, Shayna had made yet another enemy in The Riott Squad. Ruby Riott took to the ring to try and get some payback on The Queen of Spades for her assault, but she ultimately fell victim to the same as her ally, Liv Morgan - the Kirifuda Clutch. Baszler applied the hold and forced Riott into submission, claiming yet another win in The Land of Extreme. But as Baszler stood tall seemingly untouchable, she was surprisingly interrupted by the sound of a familiar theme, that of Bianca Belair. The EST of ECW made her way to the ring and stood face-to-face with Shayna Baszler, showing no signs of intimidation. Having been absent for many weeks while Baszler had been on her rampage, could we now see Belair step up to the plate and be the one to put The Queen of Spades in her place? Only time will tell, but Bianca Belair certainly is not backing down to anyone.</div>

No Way Jose after No Way interrupted Owens' disrespectful tirade</b></div>

It seems that Kevin Owens has never been prouder than when he brutally beat his former best friend into a bloody mess at ECW One Night Stand. Last week, The Prizefighter made it clear that he had no regrets about what he did to Sami Zayn, even going as far as to say he enjoyed every second of it (even including the powerbomb through a flaming table). And apparently, Owens isn't going to let us forget his heinous actions anytime soon, once again heading to the ring to declare himself "the better man" and gloat about potentially ending Zayn's career. But one extremist in particular had heard enough, and that man was No Way Jose. The Dominican Dancing Machine wasn't quite as jovial tonight, emerging in camo pants and with a serious expression, directly addressing KO. No Way advised Owens to stop running his mouth and fight, explaining that his actions at One Night Stand were despicable, and someone needed to stand up for Sami Zayn and teach Owens a lesson. Initially, Owens couldn't contain his laughter, bursting into hysterics before challenging No Way to a one-on-one contest. But he may have regretted his decision when No Way stepped through the ropes and took Owens to the very limit, coming close to defeating the former World Champion on more than one occasion. Ultimately, KO was able to drop his opponent with a Package Piledriver to secure the victory, but it wasn't without struggle. Owens quickly left ringside, clutching his head and realising he may have underestimated No Way Jose's ability. Tonight, No Way Jose proved his worth as an extremist, and some may even say that Owens got lucky.</div>

First it was WWE Raw, and now it's ECW. The Hardy Boyz made a shock arrival in The Land of Extreme, working as a unit once again just days after competing in the main event of WWE Raw as per order of Mr. McMahon. The iconic team entered the arena to a deafening reaction, ready to take on The Colóns under the ECW banner. Much like their WWE Raw appearance, the pair showed no signs of ring rust as a tag team and worked their magic enough to defeat Primo and Epico with the classic Twist of Fate and Swantomn Bomb combination. The former Tag Team Champions stood tall in celebration and embraced as they basked in the reaction from the ECW faithful. But where will they end up next? Are they here in ECW to stay? Will we see them on WWE Raw again? Are the pair headed for WCW Nitro next? Who knows?!</div>

<img src="https://i.imgur.com/HztNMQp.png"><div style="margin:auto; width:650px; background-color:#212121; padding:25px; color:#ffffff; text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;"><div style="text-align:justify; font:22px Roboto;"><b>Lars Sullivan def. Goldust</b></div>

The Freak strikes again. The monstrous Lars Sullivan took to the ring after a dominating display against Kassius Ohno last week, clearly still furious at his loss to Pete Dunne at ECW One Night Stand. The big man once again showed off his power against the ring veteran, throwing him around like a rag doll for the majority of the match. The former Intercontinental Champion struggled to fight back, proving that even his experience advantage wasn't enough to combat the brute strength of Sullivan. The Freak put an end to the contest with the Freak Accident, defeating the legend fair and square. After the match, Sullivan's adviser, Drew Gulak spoke on the microphone and once again warned the entire ECW locker room that The Freak had been let loose, and nobody is safe. He then sent a direct message to Paul Heyman, claiming that Lars Sullivan will not stop until he gets what is rightfully his.</div>

ECW World Champion Finn Bálor & Rob Van Dam</b></div>

Dean Ambrose is a man without many friends, perhaps none at all, but he did manage to find himself a tag team partner for tonight's main event, and it was someone just as deranged as he is - Tommaso Ciampa. The Psycho Killer joined forces with The Lunatic Fringe in order to get his hands on the man who eliminated him from the Extreme Open Battle Royal at One Night Stand, Rob Van Dam. This nightmarish union seemed to work well as they held their own against the ECW World Champion and RVD. Bálor and Van Dam did battle back though, and almost scored the victory after RVD hit a Coup de Grace on Ciampa, only for Ambrose to break up the count. Dragging Bálor to the outside, Ambrose planted him on the arena floor with a sickening Dirty Deeds, laying him out cold. Meanwhile, as RVD attempted to capitalise on Ciampa's condition, he was taken by surprise with a low blow from The Psycho Killer, who then drove his opponent into his knees with the Project Ciampa and hooked the leg for the win. The Lunatic Fringe slid back into the ring and celebrated together with Ciampa, forming what appears to be an unholy alliance if anything else. Having dismantled both Rob Van Dam and the ECW World Champion, Finn Bálor, this pair could be unstoppable.</div></div>
