This type of crap annoys me and makes you look scummy as hell. You have a theory put it out so the rest of us can review and give it merit, or not. Stating you have a theory then coming back 2 hours later to say you'll discuss it later just looks like an attempt to both stall and appear to be contributing.

It's ok to be wrong in your accusations and reads. It happens to everyone.

That goes for you too TSS. You've been good about asking questions but you haven't been putting your reads out there (unless in some list) and actually pushing anyone. You said at the start of this phase that there are 2 or 3 you are going back and forth on. Great, push them and see where the chips lie.

Well sorry for the wait, I just recently arrived after a 6 hr bus ride and that wasn't pleasant, but I did promise I will get back and here I am, so here it is.

Night Three

A gruff, older man talks with other members of the crew. As they talk, a woman passes by. She attempts to drop something in his pocket, but gets bumped by a stranger and her item falls to the floor, swiftly crushed under a boot.

"So sorry, that was an accident. I didn't mean to break it."

His focus broken from the conversation, the gruff man turns to the woman, who apologizes quietly and walks off. A young man approaches the group, hesitates, and then keeps walking. A passenger, dressed to the nines, stands at a corner, observing the scene.

Basically, I am here, observing, I got a result that night, but as you can see it is a bit of a jumbled mess on who targeted who. So I was unsure how to make out of it, and which is which, but.

Night Four

A young man walks down the hall finds an officer talking with a well dressed passenger.

"I'm sorry, officer, may I have a moment of your time?"

I suppose. Sir, if you could excuse me?"

The well dressed passenger nods and makes his exit, ducking around a corner. The young man proceeds, with a smirk on his face.

"I understand you're running the ship now, after the tragic loss of our captain?"

"Yes I am. How can I help you?"

"Actually, I'd like to help you. Can we talk more privately?"

With a curious look on his face, the two men walk off down the hall, chatting about various things. Down the hall, the well dressed passenger watches with a concerned look.

and here I was again, I got another result, and the person who targeted my target in N3, targeted N4, the difference is there are clearly two people here, so I am pretty sure, I got who the young man and his recruit was. Ain't I right Bak42 and Michgcs?

As for the other thing on my mind, Can you point yourself here Rev? I am quite curious which one are you, since you are highly likely here. Bumping ladies now are we?

Anyways, aside from those, I still think lukess is scum, he is fairly quiet and his refusal to answer questions makes him highly suspicious in my eyes, but now I am also starting to get wary a bit about Rev, the longer he lives, the scummier he gets.

Wow, that's an interesting development. It would make sense for the cult to look to recruit michgcs, for sure.

Yeah, sucks if you get recruited to the same group that you were trying to dismantle, but his heads up about his flight, seems a very timely excuse to me. I would have liked to know if he got anything else last night, other than drinking the kool-aid.

What's got you bewildered?

Something just occurred to me, I wonder if anyone else has had the thought I just had.

My bewilderment, Mich pretty much outed himself as a power role and was left alone from what I see in the write-up with a GDS newbie taken out. But Leion's theory seems plausible.

Yeah, the scum group are avoiding the usual suspects it seems. they probably were wary that he could be protected. I almost considered not picking Mich, for the same logic. Seeing as Eliphas seems to have been guarding the doc, I wonder who the doctor's target was. Also, any other thoughts Emark? Who seems more scummy to you?

Also, @Two. Please answer my previous question. Was your previous post to me on day 2 a hint or not?

Truthfully, I don't remember. I've been guarding my role this game and only making the subtlest of hints. You may have caught what I'm doing, I don't know. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful right now.

After the reference to the guy observing in the writeup, I was hoping we'd get a good result from that. Bak was on my shortlist for discussion today, so I'm happy with this.

Vote: Bak42

You're right, I need to give up on the pity party and get back to pushing people. I wanted to play more aggressive this game, now is the time to do just that.

When I mentioned going back and forth on people, the 2-3 I was talking about were Destiny, MLT, and DJ. I'm pretty comfortable saying there's at least 1 scum in that group.

Here's my overall logic and then individual logic.

Overall logic: This game is reminding me a lot like the last few games in terms of town not being aggressive enough. No lynches on day one and day two were bad for us and it made us not really even get started until day 3. Now we're suddenly looking at a mid-game with only 2 successful lynches; one townie and one cult scum.

The biggest glaring difference between this game and Sunset for me is scum play. In Sunset, they all hid. So after Jaded was flipped, it naturally led to looking at MLT, Gonvick (and eventually Showtime). This game I'm not seeing any obvious connections between players. Which makes me think the scum team have experience on their side to each play effectively on their own, or at the very least, someone experienced calling the shots.

Individual logic:

Destiny - Destiny would fit the bill as a player that plays well as town or scum. He's definitely been active and involved but I can't think of any actual moments that have his fingerprint on it. No particular discussion or push or anything that I can tie to him. Which makes me feel like he is just hiding.

And this:

Rev made some decent points yesterday, think it may be a good cult after all. We'll see what tonight brings.

This post has been bugging the heck out of me but not for the reason already brought up. Good cult is an oxymoron in my eyes.

But I've been trying to think, what's the point of this post? What does it get across and why?

For me, I read it as Destiny hinting that he's a part of the cult. I feel like cult would be the ones trying to insinuate they're actually good for town.

Knowing now, Bak and Mich are cult, I think Destiny is scum. I think he tried to come off as part of the cult, knowing that cult aren't our greatest priority at the moment so that nobody would be looking at his direction. And I feel like Leion just blew up that play completely.

MLT -

I've personally had more of a town read on MLT than most but that feeling is starting to shift. My initial reasoning was that she's playing this game very differently than the last few and I took that to mean she's evolving/growing as a player. She definitely is. But now my concern is that I shouldn't have town-leaned her just for playing better, she might be evolving as scum that:

A) learned from Sunset's strategic mistakes and Derek B's advice for town/scum.

B) has an experienced team that's making her more confident/bold enough to be participating in thread more

C) Both A & B

In terms of posts, she keeps focusing on wanting to hear what Opulent is thinking. At first I thought she might have saw something at night. But as this has happened for a few day phases in a row now, I think she was reaching out to him as low hanging fruit since he was super inactive for a few days and now is continuing that because it'd be awkward to just stop asking for someone's reads.

I'm not as confident on her as some others here I think, but I could definitely still see her being scum.

DJ -

This is a controversial feeling, I recognize that. And he's the main person I keep flip-flopping on. So first off, I'll definitely say that it is possible for someone to have an off game. But this game, DJ just feels very different to me than some of the previous ones we've played together.

If he is town then I feel like the pushback from Archer and Eliphas has thrown off his reads. And if he is, I hope this post wakes him up and helps get him back to usual form. Because we definitely could use it.

But I'm growing more concerned that he may be scum and that's the reasoning behind having such an "off game". It gives him an excuse for having some wrong early pushes and a chance to hide in the back if he needs to.

He made a post on D2 that got lost in the shuffle. But it really irked me when re-reading it on D3 but I couldn't really understand why at the time. This one:

And why TBP?

Low post count and being unproductive so probably no one watching him, probably no one protecting him, etc. Smart really... Hoping someone was watching him, but odds are no one cares about non-posters.

I think it's something about calling the scum-play smart. Ironic because I just gave my overall logic that i think the scum team are smart/experienced but the difference is that it is day 5 rather than day 2. I feel like giving scum kudos that early isn't usual for DJ. And it makes me wonder if it was a self-compliment.

And I didn't like the self-vote the day after. It felt like a stronger response than what was needed and a way to get people to state that they feel he is town. Which could be thrown back against us and off his partners if he flipped scum.

Right now, ask me to rank my confidence in each:

Most confident: Destiny

Somewhat confident: DJ

Somewhat confident: MLT

I'm not saying they're all scum and truthfully, finding out which 1 would make me have to re-think the others, but I think there's scum there. I hope to see some responses from these three.

If you're town, we'd need you to be vocal to prevent another mislynch. Today is not the day to be coy or look scummy to avoid being night killed, today we need you giving your all to help us make the right decision. All your reads/thoughts/conspiracies out on the table and let's get this right. Do not let us lynch you.

If you aren't, this is your last phase in the game. We're going to lynch you and we are going to turn this game around. We're going to ISO every post you made, we're going to find the slip up, and we're going to make the connection. Scum isn't winning this one.

Now I'm going back to ISO the dead. And in particular, I'm looking for notable things they said about these 3 players. If another lead comes up worth following, we can go that route too. But for now, I'm placing my vote this day phase on one of these three.

Before I do that, I see we got some posts for Bak.

I don't know how I feel about that. Cult is a problem, sure. But mafia are the greater concern, lynching a cult member this day phase is another day phase where we still haven't flipped red and truthfully, we can't go many more days without at least 1.

Cult is mafia's problem more than ours at this second. Because that's two more people who we know aren't a part of their group.

lukes, bak, MLT, and Destiny have been my targets (in order), if that helps putting together anything. This is something I would want to know if I were the one putting things together.

So you go out at night then? I'm sure I remember very early into the game you saying you didn't, but maybe it wasn't you.

Here is my theory on why I brought up the Archer lynch.

To me he looked scummy. I mean he looked really scummy to me, I can't emphasize that enough. SO scummy to me that it's hard to fathom anyone NOT thinking he is scummy unless they seen him be that scummy as town before (and the only thing anyone said he acted like that was as an SK or individual, If I'm not mistaken).

So here is my theory.... for only the Red Scum. Look at those that didn't vote on the last day, moreso then anyone that did. Cult wouldn't have known if he was scum or not, so they might be in the votes.

You're the blocker, not Rev? Can you answer my question before I even think of answering yours?

If you’re being truthful DJ, I feel like you might be withholding some information. That list is full of relevant targets
My role doesn't give me information unfortunately. But it will be a blast if I am more correct then not, as tonight's the night, do or die.

Why do you think I've been pushing town so hard to give me some reads?

IF I don't die tonight, I believe that will be my record, but I'm not chancing it. So laying it out to be understood.

The Archer misslynch threw me off, and I was very unsure of my targets, all my reads at that point. At night I asked and got a 1 out of 3 answer. I don't want to mess up and bring our numbers lower, but If I got more scum then town, I want to do it (sorry for anyone that is town that I targeted ahead of time).

This question bugs me more than I'm letting on here. Why act so surprised? My whole thing as to why I wouldn't have believed Archer after seeing his role, was his actual ROLE reveal was vanilla "Crew Aligned Crewman". The example role wasn't even vanilla, so I just figured we didn't have any vanilla townies.
