It’s been one hell of a year… and I can’t imagine any other way to bring 2015 to an end…

 

The roar of the masses signifies a raw, if not primal sense of energy. Individual voices form into one; a bloodthirsty mob once heard in the rows of the Coliseum. Eerily enough, the “Supreme Nation”, much like those living through the final days of the Roman Empire, had no idea what destruction leered from the shadowy horizon.

 

Duane Fry:

Jack Bruce… Angry Gilmore… and Valiant… Three of the BIGGEST NAMES in pro wrestling today; and they’re ALL in our main event here tonight! Our LAST main event of 2015 and, quite possibly, our BIGGEST at that! THIS… is going to be a barnstormer, no doubt!

 

 

Sweat and saliva projects from these very men; finding a resting place among the already stained canvas below. Between these ropes is hallowed ground. Decades of violence. Countless broken bones. Unmeasurable heartache. Unstoppable success. It all originated here; birthed by the very LEGENDS we hold so dear.

 

For some though, that legacy is incomplete…

JACK BRUCE!! JACK BRUCE!! “NEW YORK MINUTE!!” COULD THIS BE IT?!

 

…. until now.

 

A legacy, once thought charred out of existence, is re-birthed like an uncontrollable Phoenix -- never a flicker… only an erratic inferno.

The Fallen Angel spreads his clipped, wounded wings; unfurling them with visible scars of years gone by.

What… the hell… is going on right now?

The exiled man standing before the shocked masses is broken, scarred, war-torn. The thin lines of grey forming within his wild, unwashed hair tell of his reclusive nature. The thick bags under his eyes… further sign that he’s simply unwell at best.

 

The LEGEND standing before the same shocked masses is quite different. Once heralded as the violent, cyclonic disrupter of all things mainstream, this mythological figure still carries an anarchic-sense of strength. While the man is weathered and drained of life, the spirit of his LEGEND is still very much so in tact; if not heightened by defiantly entering the “Land of Supreme” -- a shining city on the hill he was once cast out of.

The tension in the arena raises the collective hairs of the Supreme Nation on end; much like towering Sequoia trees extending closer to the heavens above.

 

Here… right now… is the very event that NO ONE ever thought would EVER happen.

As Nemesis watches from the otherside of the guardrail, stoic yet eerily intense at the same time, Khoklov now sets his sights on the ringside area itself. The commentary tables are tossed aside like they’re toothpicks; snapping much the same as they hit the ground. The ringside apron, one dawning the SWF logo, is pulled and literally ripped apart at every corner. The steel steps; thrown into the crowd -- almost striking several members of said crowd in the process. Even the ring ropes don’t last very long, as Khoklov, in a shocking display of immense strength, pulls them out of the turnbuckles in a matter of a minute. </em></span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em> </em></span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em>

There, we see another familiar face come strutting through the crowd. This person? Security members try to run out of the back now; however, they are all backed away by the smirking DuBois. With a vile grin upon his face, he swings the bat back-and-forth; threatening them to “not come any closer.” They do, as he wishes, and start to back away. You can actually see the worried face of Jerry Eisen peek his head out from behind the “Supreme Gate”; calling the security members back in fear for their safety. </em></span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em> </em></span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em>

While they reluctantly stand back, DuBois turns his attention toward all of the electronic masterpieces that is the SWF entrance way. Swinging a bat like he’s taking part in a home-run contest, the rebellious youngster seems to receive a cathartic joy by violently smashing everything in sight. Small video trons on the side, glowing SWF symbols, and even the “Supreme Gate” itself all take the brunt of his attack; sparks flying, metal bending, and glass shattering. </em></span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em> </em></span></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em>

It made the Nexus seem like a threat a level above the standard top heels. It'll be interesting to see if this group adds more members from within SWF, or recruits extra 'bad guys' from outside. Thank you for the support thus far! I'm really excited about this story and can't wait to continue moving forward. I only have a week left of school; so, my planning time is much shorter. Knowing this, I can start getting into writing shows in the next few days.

 

The plan is to be a little more concise with my writing this time around; not going too immensely in-depth. Also, I'm going to focus 100% on shows; so, I can make sure I can move through the storyline (and make that my focus). That doesn't mean there won't be a story or two from SWF.com or something but, overall, my focus will be the shows & character development.

I 100% agree with your view of the opening sequence here. My hope was to create a raw scenario that feels entirely unscripted. In this vein, in my mind, it's a fusion between what the Nexus did upon their arrival AND the slow build of the nWo (what's coming next). More or less, it is supposed to feel like "they aren't supposed to be here" -- and that's going to be how the story progresses from here (the writing and booking is being developed to further this narrative).

 

In this case, the 'bad guys', as we will come to find, have a unified vision that binds them all together. It's the reason why they are here. I can't wait to flesh that out further.
