TCW: The Revival of DAVE

Guide vs Bart Biggins

Neither man is a veteran of the main event stage. It's a huge opportunity for both not just to prove they belong closing shows but also inside the demonic structure that is The Elimination Chamber!

'The Last True Cowboy' Ricky Dale Johnson & 'The Speedball' Marc Speed vs BUFF and Titan

Floyd has helped create this match to give Titan a feel of what it's like to be on Team Goldworthy Talent. But the two men already have history fighting each other so it's not clear whether they will gladly join forces. Their opponents have a similar problem though, with both men looking to go in the Chamber with the most momentum it's not clear whether they can trust each other either.

'Dr Love' Danny Fonzarelli vs Jeremie Courtney

The head of The Lovely People looks to train himself before his qualifying match next week. Jeremie always puts his all in but surely the muscular heavyweight is too much for him to handle?

Guide vs Bart Biggins

I really still stand by what I said last prediction about the tag title match, and this well may be the first match I get wrong, but first you have aluded to the possibility of on member of the New Wave having to have double duty, and that angle seems pretty interesting, secondly Bart Biggins for me always will be a tag team guy, and an awesome one at that but as a single he seems to bland for me he seems to be a glorified midcard jobber, not even a regular jobber, but who knows maybe phil can find something to do with him with this reduced roster, but not even phil vibert can turn this guy into a main eventer, if he even can make it a credible singles midcarder, my best bet for him is to get him back into the tag team scene, even if you cant get hsi brother give him a new tag partner, his experience in tag wrestling, his name has pull in the tag ranks, and his accomplishments combine well into a veteran tag team wrestler with a future still in front, in no way is he still in his prime but he isnt gone enough to be in his last run he is only 35, some would say thats old but I have seen wrestlers worse than him go deep into their forties, he still has time to bring his career into the sportlight without his brother but always in a tag team, if I had to present candidates I would think of someone like Benny Benson, as he also was a member of a succesful tag team and his tag expereince could make him fit well with Bart in this Mashup of a team, but a pretty good team, but because I dont know if Benny is in Total Wrestling roster, I would go with the more realistic possibility of Elliot Thomas, that could be an inicial role for him to advance in his career after he stops paying his dues so he stops jobbing, this would be a logical first step that isnt that severe for him and lets him win experience from a veteran, gives him something to do and his momentum can rise naturally.

'The Last True Cowboy' Ricky Dale Johnson & 'The Speedball' Marc Speed vs BUFF and Titan

I think BUFF and Titan are going to lose but they arent going to be beaten, they dont care about wins or losses, right now they care about a message, and that is that Floyd believes BUFF was screwed out of the chamber even if that isnt truth and that Titan hasnt been given a chance to enter, so they just beat up their opponent illegally probably with weapons and the match gets thrown out or they get DQed sending the message that the Board of Directors must give them a chance or they will continur beating up people until theres no one else fit in the roster.

'Dr Love' Danny Fonzarelli vs Jeremie Courtney

Jeremie Courtney is a rookie paying his dues, so that means jobber, so an easy win for an established upper midcarder, now about Danny, I have to be honest you have achieved something I never thought could be done, you have made me give a damn about Danny Fonzarelli, I usually despise the character because he simply is a goody two shoes usually wronged, with an annoying character two me of love guru mixed with austin powers or similarly I have seen him used, and it make me more upset because he is usually my favorite with his old gimmick of the darkness warriors, so seeing this version of him that is overly happy going into crazy with some subtle touches of his old gimmick and that he maybe isnt as pure as he would like us to assume, its a character I can invest in and care for him, this is a better diary than I expected.

There is also an extra prize that is mentioned near the end of this post. In the meanwhile here January in game. This has the ratings for all the TCW and DAVE shows, some of my reasoning for booking decisions and updates on what's going on around world including ELITE.

January

I like this idea of us not being shown what is happening in TCW but it still happening, probably because in story TCW isnt being booked by Phil Vibert, and it is by Kyle Rhodes and his bookers Joel Bryant and Brent Hill, it also leaves little clues, like for example the TCW board of directors see Killer Shark as a future star as they prefered to break the tag team up instead of letting him go to the DAVE, I think that before the brand split TCW alrady had a very little tag division, and now with the tag divisions separated, both brands either form new tag teams or look into the independents to get a few units to feel the void in both tag divisions for dave I would think that you could bring Teddy Powell back to team with Bach, but they arent in the best of terms, and Bach is to big of a star so I dont see it likely, but one I think is pretty realistical is to steal Al Coleman from CZCW and get him back with Marc Speed as the Shoot Club, I think that could be something to keep Speed relevant if he doesnt win the DAVE Title, but keeps him relevant and gains momentum until he becomes a real main eventer, I could also think about Texas Pete to team back with BUFF, but I think he has something with Titan already and even if doesnt I can see you pushing BUFF more as a single, and if titan aligns with him more like a lackey than a partner, you know who I might suggest for Danny Fonzarelli but I wont say anything I want to keep your secret even if I might still be wrong, maybe we could see the return of Doug Peak to be also a partner/lackey to his brother; and for TCW, I like the elite a lot, I thing that if you give them a chance they could impress you I have seen Eddie Chandler rise to TCW World Heavyweight Champion, this feud with Devine Fortune might be because they were the only teams left but I think is a pretty good feud, maybe you could have the Elite back as a stable and bring Dan Dalay and Bobby Thomas which are respectivaly the old partners of Chandler and Johnson, and together they have been the elite but there was a lot of turnover of the members, and maybe you could bring Stevie Grayson and Regular Joe to team with Tornado and Hocking if you need established bodies for the tag division, and there is a lot of other tag teams in the independents, but hey this are just ideas Im not trying to tell you what to do, the Andrews Dilemma is something a lot of us suffer given he just won the title, but with TCW, it isnt about kindness, they are in a pretty difficult position and they are in no position to fail, they are cutthroat right now and if Aaron Andrews isnt pulling for You Rocky is your safer bet, keep the Figurehead Happy and he might just not leave when his contract is negotiated, I think Mighty Mo is a perfect candidate to take over the international title, usually this is something I would think of, because usually theres no reason to take the title away from speed as he is a pretty good champion and a good future star, but if he has to drop it I think Mo gains the most of it as he is the Wonderkid, the one being groomed to take the place from golden when needed, but he is pretty green still, a good run with the international title serves to build popularity, momentum, steam and is a good indicator if he is really going to live up to his potential, the only problem now it that you have the exact opposite problem from TCW, as it begins with only heel champions, but because some left for DAVE and Andrews wasnt cutting it now all champions are faces, none of the extremes are good, it should be a variety of dispositions for the champions, and even more if you take the DAVE Titles into account The New Wave are faces and are the tag team champions, and that makes it 4 out of 4 faces as champions, as a DAVE Unified Champion hasnt been crowned, what else I think also Jay Chord and Matt Hocking are awesome characters, Troy Tornado might need to be rebuilt or put into a tag team or/and turned face, as he right now at the beggining of the game isnt really a world title challenger and he just put over the rising International champion that means he isnt on the inside grouo right now, he needs something to do I still believe he can be a good star even if he is made of glass, I like your hirings Kirk Jameson seems like a no brainer, a perfect youg heel to build, maybe team him up with Jay Chord, and Buddy Garner and Roger Smooth (Roger Cage), is it weird I wish he was actually called Smooth Cage, sounds awesome I assume they are faces but I could be wrong, a good use for garner as he is awesome but he isnt really over enough for a singles run and maybe his body wouldnt keep up that long so putting him into a tag team to protect him is perfect, and a good way to introduce an independents darling in Cage, is weird he wasnt picked off sooner in his career but right now is in his prime so you might have to move quickly to get him over and garner can help with that. Lastly, this is just a little idea, insignificant even as we dont see the ingame titles just the ones you make in 2k19, but with the backing of TCW and in national television, I think that Phil Vibert could bring back the Unified Title but theres also the possibility to build in this new rising of status and bring a new title a WORLD title, as in the DAVE World Championship that is in images in game, as that would mean TCW would be the only promotion with 2 World Title status Championship and could be diferentiated with The TCW one being the World Heavyweight with a weight restriction and DAVE only being a world title as with its rebelious nature to ditch the old school weight limited championships as old school wrestling separated the roster in weight divisions, but in DAVE those things arent taken into account, you have to show you are strong enough against anyone (This doesnt mean the TCW one should have weight division, but the name is that for tradition even if lighter wrestler could hold it, but DAVE breaks proudly and public with that stereotype)

As for my prediction on who attacked Scout, as we dont have clues of if its a hiring or someone already in the roster, my prediction is : Ricky DeColt

P.S. it may be obvious but you might notice I like CGC a lot

This Tuesday on The POP! Network, Danger and Violence Extreme presents the most unmissable 90 minutes of action.

Tonight we get answers to the questions. Who will be the 4th man in The Elimination Chamber? Will Titan join Goldworthy Talent? How will Dr Love. respond to his beatdown at the hands of The Canadian Animals? Will Sammy Bach even be able to respond to his attacker Eddie Peak after the brutal car door attack? As well as these answers we see a new character debut and two stars already in the Chamber will be forced to work together...

Welcome to the Dangerzone!

Main Event

Guide
vs Bart Biggins

I think Guide gets in here. He can probably still go in the ring enough to get a good single grade and I think the other tag teams in the division need more prepping before they challenge for a title shot.

'
The Last True Cowboy' Ricky Dale Johnson & 'The Speedball' Marc Speed v
s BUFF and Titan

I think this match helps lead into a BUFF/Titan feud

Dr Love' Danny Fonzarelli
vs Jeremie Courtney

Courtney always gets good destiny rolls in my games but he's not ready for prime time yet.

As for the masked attacker I think Xavi Ferrera, could set up a feud down the line with the New Wave turning on each other.

I gotta say this is one of my favorite diaries on the board right now. I am really enjoying these episodes! It’s not like what you typically see in diaries and that unique aspect just really helps to draw you in while reading. Great stuff! As both a DAVE fan and a TCW fan I am greatly anticipating each new episode

I can't imagine reforming the tag team with Bach as yes they hate each other, it would even be tricky to have them on the same brand. But I do like the idea of having 1 on TCW, 1 on DAVE and that way they can have a low-key long term rivalry without actually tanking my backstage ratings.

Al Coleman is on my shortlist at the moment I have solo plans for Marc and didn't want to over complicate/shadow that but it's certainly a possibility for the future.

Texas Pete/Jay Darkness/Doug Peak are all not currently on my shortlist, they all make sense storyline-wise but I'm simply not sure if they are talented enough to make the roster anymore. All 3 are pretty old too. Although never say never! I can especially see one or two of them having a one off appearance.

You are right about The Elite, I do think they have potential even despite their age. I've got Bobby and Dan on my shortlist.

Grayson and Joe are a bit similar to Pete/Jay/Doug is that I'm not sure if they are good enough individually. But I have considered them. My issue is I don't want to bring in a tag partner just to complete a team, if I like the individual and they happen to have been in a team then great. But with it the tag ranks being so depleted perhaps I can't be so picky!

the Andrews Dilemma is something a lot of us suffer given he just won the title, but with TCW, it isnt about kindness, they are in a pretty difficult position and they are in no position to fail, they are cutthroat right now and if Aaron Andrews isnt pulling for You Rocky is your safer bet, keep the Figurehead Happy and he might just not leave when his contract is negotiated,

Yeah it was a shame for Andrews to drop the belt but TCW is going a lot more sports orientated. I didn't want Andrews to have a cheap/cheaty run with the belt as that goes against that. Hopefully in time he's ready to have a legitimate run as champ.

I think Mighty Mo is a perfect candidate to take over the international title, usually this is something I would think of, because usually theres no reason to take the title away from speed as he is a pretty good champion and a good future star, but if he has to drop it I think Mo gains the most of it as he is the Wonderkid, the one being groomed to take the place from golden when needed, but he is pretty green still, a good run with the international title serves to build popularity, momentum, steam and is a good indicator if he is really going to live up to his potential,

Mo is one of my 2 'next big things' on my creative screen, so I definitely have high hopes.

the only problem now it that you have the exact opposite problem from TCW, as it begins with only heel champions, but because some left for DAVE and Andrews wasnt cutting it now all champions are faces, none of the extremes are good, it should be a variety of dispositions for the champions, and even more if you take the DAVE Titles into account The New Wave are faces and are the tag team champions, and that makes it 4 out of 4 faces as champions, as a DAVE Unified Champion hasnt been crowned,

That's a good point I hadn't even properly noticed. With the face/heel divide gone it's perhaps less of a problem. I'm sure it won't be long until some titles change hands.

what else I think also Jay Chord and Matt Hocking are awesome characters, Troy Tornado might need to be rebuilt or put into a tag team or/and turned face, as he right now at the beggining of the game isnt really a world title challenger and he just put over the rising International champion that means he isnt on the inside grouo right now, he needs something to do I still believe he can be a good star even if he is made of glass,

I'm not gonna lie, Troy is normally in the Danny Fonzarelli category of popular people I use to pass on pop to others, but Dr Love has proved to me I should be open to giving others a chance, so perhaps Troy has one last good run in him!

I like your hirings Kirk Jameson seems like a no brainer, a perfect youg heel to build, maybe team him up with Jay Chord, and Buddy Garner and Roger Smooth (Roger Cage), is it weird I wish he was actually called Smooth Cage, sounds awesome I assume they are faces but I could be wrong, a good use for garner as he is awesome but he isnt really over enough for a singles run and maybe his body wouldnt keep up that long so putting him into a tag team to protect him is perfect, and a good way to introduce an independents darling in Cage, is weird he wasnt picked off sooner in his career but right now is in his prime so you might have to move quickly to get him over and garner can help with that.

Smooth Cage does sound like a video game character (in a cool way), there is plenty of time in his career to rethink the name! So yes with the divide off obviously they are neither technically face or heel, but I do see them more as good guys in that Buddy is trying to train Roger and it's a sort of wholesome pairing with Roger sometimes playing a comedic unruly pupil role.

I have thought about what the future holds for DAVE titles. The Unified Title is being hyped as prestigious (and in terms of DAVE it fully is) but historically it is just the east coast small promotions bundled into one. Perhaps there is room down the line for a proper world title.

As for my prediction on who attacked Scout, as we dont have clues of if its a hiring or someone already in the roster, my prediction is : Ricky DeColt

P.S. it may be obvious but you might notice I like CGC a lot

As for the masked attacker I think Xavi Ferrera, could set up a feud down the line with the New Wave turning on each other.

Ok so neither of these are correct so everyone can have a fresh guess (one each game week).

Clue time... (they will get more helpful as time goes on)

So now it's a game to guess BOTH masked men and the clue this week is that they are both white Americans.

Thanks for the comments, Episode 4 is above. 2 more before The Elimination Chamber! Obligatory thanks 20LEgend for the DoTM nomination! I believe this is actually my first ever one, maybe one of my WWE diaries was nominated years ago I'm not certain. Either way there's plenty of good stuff on here at the moment so it's great to get the nod.

SPOILERS FOR SHOW ABOVE

At first I picked the PDF format just because it was quick for me to make shows, but then I added in the WWE2k19 pictures which completely got rid of that positive! But the act of creating all of them in the game/making entrances/finishers/title belts etc has really fleshed DAVE out in my mind, so hopefully that will slowly come across in the shows.

At the moment it still feels a little like each shows aim is simply to introduce new characters, which is fun, but I'm exciting to get more into some storylines I've got planned which will hopefully keep this going well!

This Tuesday on The POP! Network, Danger and Violence Extreme presents the most unmissable 90 minutes of action.

Two huge matches tonight. The 5th spot in The Elimination Chamber will be determined when Dr Love and Freddy Huggins finally meet one on one in the ring. A second heated rivalry will also come to a head when Sammy Bach and Eddie Peak meet inside a steel cage. Just two weeks before his Unified Title match, it's a brave move from Sammy, will he be able to move on from Peak after tonight or will the match seriously hurt his chances at the PPV?

Welcome to the Dangerzone!

Steel Cage Match

Sammy Bach vs Eddie Peak

Even though Sammy defeated Eddie to claim the first spot in the Elimination Chamber, it was a count-out victory and this didn't sit well with the victor. However his attempt to challenge Eddie in the ring was met with a brutal backstage assault. Tonight the two clash for a second time with Bach looking to prove he's the better man, deserving of the Unified Title and Peak simply looking to inflict pain.

Freddy Huggins vs Danny Fonzarelli

Ever since the very first segment of the DAVE revival Freddy has been looking for revenge. Dr Love lured his sister away to 'The Lovely People' with Freddy is convinced this is a bad influence on her. Tonight the two meet one on one for the first time, with not just pride on the line but the 5th spot in the Elimination Chamber.

Dazzling Dave Diamond vs Edd Stone

With Edd banned from ringside for Freddy's important match, he's been given a match of his own to keep him occupied. Neither of these two men have picked up a singles victory in DAVE and will be looking to right that wrong.

There is just this week, one more DAVE and then The Elimination Chamber left in the prediction contest. A bonus prize is also up for grabs for the first person to guess who the mystery masked men are. (So far only clue is they are both white Americans)

Sammy Bach vs Eddie Peak

This is mostly a toss up, and I think there are reasons for Bach to win the match, but I think this match can be used as an excuse to get Peak inside the chamber either repalacing Bach or as the 6th member, also in story Bach is not 100% and is a good thing to even them up, they are the two biggest stars in the company, and probably will be in a on and off feud, so not letting anyone take an early lead seems like the most sensible move.

I think the way I predict will change now that we know that you arent using the face/heel divide, and that makes it easier to build an ambiguous character like Danny Fonzarelli that still looks at first glance like a good guy but is showing other parts of his personality, and I think he will make it to the chamber to cement his growth as a character, meanwhile I dont think Huggins will make it to the chamber, not only he is a tag team guy, he isnt even the most important member on that tag team, he isnt ready to enter the chamber and there is no logical way to put him into that story.

I love canadian wrestling in the cverse, and I love both families the Decolts and The Stones, is an incondicional admiration, so Edd gets ahead for me simply for his last name, as I have always seen him as the one that hasnt bloomed yet, right now he is on a tag team but Im sure he can actually rise to be a main eventer on his own with no problem, so I do like DDD but Edd is on another level, and this is mostly a toss up, I can predict agaisnt stone if the story requires it but in a singles match with no story I hope he can pull off some momentum gains.

Updated Roster, Title and Schedule page

Will be posting the show in a couple of hours so last chance for predictions. I think this might be my favourite show yet actually.

In the meanwhile above is the updated page on everything. Only a few people added from the last update but I've also put on a schedule. As you can see at the moment it's pretty barren. I'm struggling to decide how many PPVs a year to go with. I like the idea of just doing them Bi-monthly.

Pros

Means I would naturally have bigger matches and storyline moments on the weekly show. Would actually make them exciting and unpredictable.

I could probably then spend more time on the PPVs, with them being rarer and more unique.

Cons

In game wise it means less money and likely less popularity gains both for the company and individuals

8 weeks of TV could seem like a stretch in between PPVs, unless I make the weekly show exciting people could zone out until the next PPV perhaps.

Interested to get any thoughts as well as any ideas for the PPVs themselves. Although in WWE I don't particularly like gimmicky PPVs (Elimination Chamber, Hell in a Cell, TLC etc) I don't really mind them for a product like DAVE. I've got some names from the Cverse 97 mod I might use. I'm not sure if there is a cannon 'wrestlemania' for DAVE? I know in that mod they use 'The Alternate Showcase' as the most prestigious monthly event.

'The Last True Cowboy' Ricky Dale Johnson & 'Dr Love' Danny Fonzarelli vs 'The Speedball' Marc Speed & Noughty Boy

4 men begin The Elimination Chamber match in pods around the ring. 2 have the misfortune of beginning the match, therefore having to survive longer, and go through more men in order to win the gold. The losers of this tag match will determine which 2 start the match.- I think speed has big things ahead of him in DAVE. He has that Eric Tyler school of tradition vibe given his skill set.

Dazzling Dave Diamond vs DAVE Alumni

Following his win last week against Edd Stone, DDD has another singles match this week against a mystery opponent. All we know is that his opponent will be a DAVE alumni, perhaps trying to prove they still deserve a spot on the roster after all these years.- I can't help but feel DDD is being built to ultimately put someone over legitimately but I don't think it's the mystery opponent.

I think the men are big bruiser findlay and bulldozer brandon smith. Decent hardcore, brawling and mic skills from the start.

Eddie Peak vs BUFF vs Scout vs Guide vs Freddy Huggins

Reallistically there are only two possibilities to win, Eddie Peak or BUFF, honestly Im actually surprised one of them isnt in the chamber but hey I get it you cant always put everyone in one match you also need some other matches for the PPV, and I think the other 3 dont have actual chances because The New Wave has already a match on PPV defending their tag team championships against the unknown team and I doubt they will pull double duty in the end, the other is freddy huggins and I dont see him entering the match since the canadian animals very clearly are being depushed mostly with the new wrestlers coming in, they obviously arent jobbers mostly because you are short on tag teams but I dont think they will stay on the spotlight, they are only here as bodies to use as needed to further the feuds, so we are left with BUFF and Peak, and I predict Peak will enter the chamber for two reasons first his rival is in there and it would make sense for Peak and Bach to be on the Cell given their feud and they are two of your top 3 guys, and the second reason is because i predict BUFF will have an important match on the PPV agaisnt Titan, in a feud of their own to have more interesting matches, so it seems logical because everything fits.

'The Last True Cowboy' Ricky Dale Johnson & 'Dr Love' Danny Fonzarelli vs 'The Speedball' Marc Speed & Noughty Boy

This one its more difficult mostly because I dont see it making a difference on the result of the chamber so Im simply going with the most popular and pushable guys, while making the midcarders lose.

Dazzling Dave Diamond vs DAVE Alumni

I think DDD should be winning this one, first because it seems he is getting pushed very early on as someone who could be a big deal and this could be a way for Phil Vibert to send a message, that the fans of TCW shouldn fear DAVE, that now DAVE is an ally of them and that is a place where workers can go to go with their careers in a different approach and be succesful as the fear could be that Vibert would bring the DAVE originals in with his new money and job the former tcw workers to them and just be again the show it was in 2007, Vibert needs to show this new version of DAVE has a way and an objective and that it isnt just a nostalgia show, Hardcore has changed in 9 years and Vibert wants to show something unique his own new version of DAVE than can evolve and last where the old version could not.

I know is American Demolition as my research has led me to them with the parameters makes them the most sensible choice, but someone else already predicted that before me so it makes no sense for me to pick the same as if they have it right only they have the prices and if they are wrong I also predicted wrong, so my only choice is pick another team hoping the other comment is wrong, so the only other team that fills the parameters is: Painful Procedure (Randall Hopkirk and Ronnie V. Yeah I see what you mean there, in a way he doesn't fit in at DAVE but that's half his appeal. Hopefully he can live up to your big things expectations!

An interest reason, makes a lot of sense. If I were to do more Viberts Vlog (which I hopefully am at some point) this dynamic about TCW guys vs Former/New DAVE guys makes sense for something to create drama backstage.

It's a shame you just weren't quick enough! If it's any consolation you have definitely won the monthly prediction contest so you'll be getting that prize soon!

Congratulations to Neslo!

For guessing correct you can pick both of their finishers. If it isn't a move that is in WWE2k19 I'll have to just pick something close to it (as I sort of need it to be in the game for pictures).

Also they aren't supposed to be called simply 'The Masked Men' for long. So if you like you can also name them. Feel free to PM or just respond on here as it's not exactly a spoiler you'd be giving away.

Other people feel free to suggest finishers/names, perhaps some inspirations and options might help Neslo decide.

So that was the last show before the PPV. Card will be posted soon for predictions but the show itself might be a good week away, perhaps a little more. Mostly because I'm not away until Monday, and also because I want to make sure it's done well and I don't rush it.

Just caught up with this again, and I love how it's going. Noughty Boy is a really great use of Biggins, he was the one guy I was a bit skeptical of being in DAVE, but his introduction under the new gimmick has been great. I think I've said it before, but using the WWE game is such a good addition. All the character are being fleshed out really well, and the game helps with that greatly.

Also this line "But it’s the last straw for his partner when NB tries to get the crowd to join him doing the Cha Cha Slide" made me laugh out loud.

I find the first PPV card can be really difficult with a new company, and just 6 weeks of TV, but there's definitely multiple matches that are have my interest, with the title matches standing out, obviously. Looking forward to the PPV, Sammy helping Peak was a nice touch, and along with the finish to the Steel Cage match, the build to the main event has been great.

I loved the TCW roster in TEW 2013 and in 2016 Biggins and Speed were two people (actually along with DDD) that I never really used just because I guess I 'knew' and felt loyal to people on the 2013 roster like The Machines, Benson, New Wave etc. So it's a little ironic that these people, along with Fonz who I also never cared for have ended up being fairly big characters in this. I suppose that's the beauty of running a promotion like this. (Much like your ECW one I'd say).

I don't like to post in between shows too much to bump the thread but just an update, back from holiday. Actually a day early because who knew camping in a hot field with a bunch of 16 year olds isn't as fun as it was when you were actually 16! (no offense to any 16 year olds reading). Was at Leeds festival and although it in general it was a fun weekend shit REALLY hit the fan on the Sunday night so we all noped out of there and came home early. Anyway this means I'll be getting the show posted in the next few days so predictions will be up tomorrow.

Reason I'm posting now though is Neslo has come up with some good choices for The Masked Men's new finishers, but has given the choice of name over to you all. At the moment their characters are essentially two big men with weird masks who like to cause problems for The New Wave, I'd love to give you more info on their backstory to help influence the names but I'd prefer to avoid spoilers. And by names I mean both/either their individual names and/or their tag team names.

If I get no suggestions I'll just make a poll with whatever awful stuff I can think up.

Tag team Name:

C.O.N.T.R.A. Ever since DAVE's revival, every man on every show has had one clear focus... winning a spot in this historic match that will crown the first DAVE Unified Champion of the new era. Essentially every fight and rivalry has been centered around this one single match. 6 men enter, but which one will leave the champion?

The Masked Men effectively answered the champions challenge by attacking them both during the last DAVE main event. We now have a name for these intimidating men, but no words, no motives. They seem to hope their actions will do the talking but do they realise they are stepping into the ring with who many now believe to be the most dominant tag team on the globe?

Pure disaster for Floyd Goldworthy, his two clients are being pitted against one another and both will be more than happy with this development. The men fight for pride and surely the spot as the poster boy for Goldworthy Talent.

We also expect to hear from the two men who attacked Dave Diamond plus Freddy Huggins has asked to address the crowd.
