Bret must have been out of earshot when Vince said that Hulk didn't run things when he was in the WWF. Of course, he might have been mad that a throwaway match between 2 untalented brawlers was a few points away from his match. So, HA! And I'll push Disco if that means you push Duke. At least Disco is on my NBT or the top prospect list. I can make him an Earl or Baron if I want to dump the Disco gimmick.

And for the love of all pro wrestling, just chuck Russo off the freaking plane. Yeah, there'd probably be no WWF/E, but pro wrestling would be better.

The doctors say he's got a mild concussion? He's out for a MONTH!!!!!! Rick, your Wargames match is in 8 days. Well, just wrap yourself in bubble wrap then so we don't lose both of you. Tell him to focus on regaining his health. We'll see you on Monday with a plan."

"Dusty, we've got one of those emergencies you warned me about. No, I haven't called Ric yet since it's 6 in the freaking morning. Plus, I have no idea which woman he took home last night. I'm freaking out a little Dusty. My first PPV and the 2nd biggest match on the card is in serious trouble. You have one of your brilliant ideas?"

And that's what happens when you share workers with a touring fed. They injured him in his last match. I just thought the airplane turbulence would be funnier, and he's not at war with anyone so it was likely him not moving out of the way of a punch. That's also the problem with running 2 4 vs 4 War Games matches because that's a lot of faces you need. No, I don't regret not having Luger face.

I tracked Flair down later that afternoon. He was a little bummed about Scott not being involved since you want all the knowns you can get in a match that can be as chaotic as War Games matches can be, but once I suggested that it would give Pillman a chance to shine since he and Liger work well together, he was more accepting of it. We're going to have to adjust the ordering of the entrants which will take some serious work. Jody had already been told and been given all the other matches off as Paul and Lanny would cover the rest as the road agents.

Dusty had told me he had a great idea for Nitro since this had kind of blown things up. It was called the Simple Southern Booking Plan. Once he explained it to me, I chuckled. It was simple, and judging by the cheers it would get the next night, it worked perfectly.

Sting introduced Rick and Missy Hyatt who is managing the brothers, explained Scott's absence, but sold that their new 4th member was someone who could pull moves out of nowhere and the Horsemen couldn't prepare for him.

The 4 semi-finalists in the Cruiserweight title tournament fought in a great match that ended when Chavo botched the interference as he tried to hit Jericho as revenge from the QF match but hit Alex instead.

More Col. Parker & Sherri arguing leading into the 8-man tag

This was just here to build the tag team 3-way title match and give Rick a match in front of the WCW faithful. DDP interfered dragging Renegade away from the match, but as always, the arguing Parker and Sherri distracted both heel teams leaving Buck open for Steiner to get the pin.

Mean Gene helmed the Fall Brawl Control Center playing interviews by The 4 Horsemen, DDP, and others.

The main event was a southern brawl that ended with both teams coming down to ringside which started a brawl outside the ring too. The ending of the show was amazing with The Giant marching down to the ring after both sides had squared off getting right in Hogan's face while Heenan is screaming that we should stay here and watch this carnage as this Giant breaks Hulkamania. You'll have to watch it this Sunday on PPV, Tony says right as we end the show.

<div style="text-align:center;">Saturday Night Recap

The 2 important matches on the show were the Semi-Finals of the Cruiserweight Tournament.

The first saw Eddie Guerrero defeat Dean Malenko in an exceptional match. Dean couldn't keep Eddie grounded quite enough to win.

The second saw Chris Jericho score a mild upset over Alex Wright when his long-time tag partner Lance Storm made a surprise appearance at ringside interfering in the match. This sets up Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Jericho in the finals at Fall Brawl on Sunday.

The two other things of note were the debuting Dr. Death Steve Williams teaming with VK Wallstreet as Death & Taxes. They cut a promo warning all 3 teams that they were coming for the tag titles very soon, and you can't avoid Death & Taxes.

The other was we sent Steve McMichael out to the Dungeon of Doom compound showing them getting ready for War Games. It was intentionally goofy, made more so by Steve being a little drunk. Usual crazy feats of strength as Taskmaster and Master barked commands.

The 4 guys for the Dungeon are The Giant, Zodiac, Meng, and The Shark. Not going with the original lineup. Yeah, I could swap Giant and Kamala, but once I get a development fed, he's going down there for a few months to get better so best to do that Hogan vs Giant match sooner rather than later.

Diesel: What big boy? You want to go?

Hart & Cornette pull Yokozuna back as they exit the ring with Diesel and HBK ready for a fight, as McMahon sends Superstars to a commercial break.

Boy, you can tell I don't run predictions much. It matters which wrestler gets the victory in the 2 War Games matches. More so in the Sting vs 4 Horsemen match. That's why I listed everyone. So, adjust your picks slightly.

And if Lex was the guy you're building your entire fed around, you might have wanted to sign him to a contract instead of just paying him show-to-show. Silly Vince. And please put Shane on every single show. Before we start the show properly, we’re taken to what happened 2 hours ago. Mean Gene takes it away. “Hello everyone. We’re here in the parking lot at the Liberty Bowl for a special reason. The fine folks at Harley Davidson have sent you a present, Hulk Hogan. A brand-new, top-of-the-line motorcycle. Because they’re all huge Hulkamaniacs, and they all know that the Hulkster here is a huge fan of Harleys.” “Well, you know something Mean Gene. I’ve owned the best bikes for over a decade, and all of them have been Harleys. When you’re the All American, you buy all American. So, I want to get right on that bike right now to start her up.” Hulk carefully hops on and we cue the audio of a Harley starting. “That thing sounds amazing, Hulk. Wait, what the hell is that?”

A huge monster truck comes from around the corner heading straight for the bike! The camera catches The Giant behind the wheel. Hulk and Gene leg it out to a safe distance as the monster truck obliterates the gimmicked bike. Hulk puts on his best shocked and sad face as Gene sells the destruction as one of the worst things in the history of the world. WCW World Cruiserweight Title Match

Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Jericho

After the pyro and opening commentary from Tony, Brain, and Dusty, we have a quick video recap of the tournament so far featuring Eddie’s talent and Jericho’s constant cheating to advance. Bobby took offense to that saying that going for the gold by any means necessary is his life’s work. Dusty said that he’s fought Eddie’s family over the years, and they’re all tough and skilled wrestlers as Eddie has shown getting here.

They were given 12 minutes and told to go all out. I didn’t want to stress them out by telling them to try and steal the show because that’s a lot to ask for their first PPV match. The story of the match was that while Jericho could go with Eddie for stretches, he was always the loser in the exchange. After the 2nd failure, he opened his bag of dirty tricks slowing the match down a little. He started working on Eddie’s legs as commentary pointed out that Malenko had used the Texas Cloverleaf on him just last night in the semis, and he couldn’t possibly be 100%.

When it started to look bleak, we started the big face run. Jericho waved to the back and out came someone no one knew unless they were Canadian or an SMW fan. While Jericho distracted Randy Anderson, Lance Storm nailed Eddie from behind and really worked over his knees. He couldn’t stay long as Chavo came running down to the ring. 10-Man Battle Royal to determine #1 Contender for the Cruiserweight Title

Alex Wright, Bobby Fulton, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Dean Malenko, Disco Inferno, Frankie Lancaster, Lance Storm, Mr. JL, Rey Mysterio Jr., Tommy Rogers

This featured every non-jobber cruiserweight on the roster except for Sabu who was too tired to be used. There were 3 stories we pushed for this. First, The Fantastics are back. Second, Rey Misterio Jr. made his debut and hit some nice moves. Third, Chavo and Storm went at it the entire time. Chavo was a man possessed and threw 2 guys out who dared to get in his way getting the most eliminations. Malenko got some revenge from his loss to Eddie and chucked him out. They worked together to toss Rey out before Lance snuck up behind him and tossed Dean too. Lance Storm is the new #1 Contender. <img src=http://tew.levinuxgaming.com/WWF/Ratings/66.jpg>

Sherri Martel is with Mean Gene before the 3-way tag title match. Parker! You and I are done, and so are your fossils holding those titles that soon will be ours. These 2 men are the greatest tag team in wrestling today, and when we get our hands on those titles, no one is ever going to take them away again. Nasty Boys, you are in a fight among men. World Tag Team Championship Match

This was going to be a paint-by-numbers match. Go out and Wild Brawl for 12 minutes with the ref basically giving up trying to maintain order pretty quickly. Lots and lots of double-teaming, managerial interference, and very little wrestling since that suits everyone involved. Everyone broke up pin attempts as Dusty announced: “This could go all night, baby.” Eventually, a couple of guys had hit ring posts, and the numbers dwindled. Sherri went from trying to get Booker T back to his feet and entered the ring to try and break up The Nasty Boys’ momentum, but they’re Nasty so Knobbs headbutted her while Sags tossed Slater onto Parker. That left a 2-on-1 (Stevie went to check on Sherri) with the Boys and Buck which proved to be the difference. The new champs don’t even get to have their arms raised before The Blue Bloods have hit the ring and put their royal boots to the champs. With both being pretty exhausted already, they were little match for anyone, much less royalty. They rip the titles from ref Nick Patrick and hold them up to a huge chorus of boos before dropping them on The Nasty Boys calling them trash and unworthy of such glorious titles. <img src=http://tew.levinuxgaming.com/WWF/Ratings/78.jpg>

10-Man Battle Royal to determine #1 Contender for the Television Title

Brian Adams, Cobra, Hugh Morris, Jacques Rougeau, Jim Duggan, Joey Maggs, Johnny B Badd, Kamala, Sgt. Craig Pittman, and The Equalizer

Unlike the previous battle royal, this one had no real story or reason for being given the dearth of talent in the match. Basically, just any midcarder or upper mid I have absolutely nothing for right now. The only exception is Johnny B. Badd who everyone correctly pegged as the winner of the match, and only because he’s got the slimmest of upside. And he’s friends with DDP. Kamala did get to do the “huge guy in battle royal moves”. Johnny B Badd is the #1 Contender for the TV title <img src=http://tew.levinuxgaming.com/WWF/Ratings/63.jpg> So many bad gimmicks

We go backstage for the coin flip in the Stingers vs 4 Horsemen match. Larry lets Flair call it. He calls tails like a fool. It’s heads. Sting’s team will have the advantage (INOKI!!!!!!). Flair says that’s fine because the Horsemen don’t need any help. WOOOOOOO!!! The Stingers vs The 4 Horsemen

Sting, Road Warrior Hawk, Rick Steiner, & Liger w/Missy Hyatt vs Flair, Arn, Pillman, and Bryant Anderson w/Dawn Marie

#6: Flair (sold as Flair being shocked by Sting entering)

Obviously, we had to re-order 5-8 because of the whole NJPW fiasco. This would let Liger and Pillman have a few minutes of fun before taking a breather to let Steiner and Pillman go at it. Bryant was always going to go on late just to protect him. Having him become the closer wasn’t ideal, but it was the best option we had. We had the announcers sell the shuffling as Sting not being able to stand being outside any longer and that’s what real leaders do. Flair followed because he didn’t want to let the match get out of hand with Sting in there. Hawk became the brute assigned clean-up duty with the announcers pointing out that maybe Flair & Arn didn’t quite trust Bryant yet in a big match while Brain said that was silly since he’s Ole’s son, an original Horseman. They just wanted him to see what a War Games match looks like before he got involved.

Clearly, there are only a few real spots to a match like this, and there was one advantage to having Liger. We could use him for a few of those. He ate a beautiful missile dropkick from Pillman to bring the initial action to a close before Brian got blindsided by an entering Steiner. They fought for the remaining time before Arn entered to fight with Rick while the initial 2 took a breather. Those 2 had some nice action since they’ve been wrestling each other a ton. Liger finally got back involved when Sting entered for the 3-on-2 advantage. Sting knows all of Scott’s tag moves so they pulled one of those off on Pillman. Flair came in like his hair was on fire much to the crowd’s rejoicing, and he and Sting squared off for the rest of the match while everyone else traded partners. Steiner got to play Animal’s role as Pillman ate a doomsday device. Bryant finally got in and got to rumble with Steiner, and the end could finally come.

And the end was something to behold as Ric, Jody, and Arn had crafted a beauty. With Flair and Sting basically by themselves in the one ring not paying any attention and Pillman down, Bryant sent Steiner into the ropes and dropped down revealing Arn who hit a beautiful spinebuster. Hawk got Bryant driving him into a corner to stop him from breaking up the submission attempt. Somehow, Steiner managed to drag himself over to the rope. Before Arn could capitalize, the crowd roared as Liger was on the top rope again. He went for a double axe handle that Arn managed to catch and deliver a spinebuster that actually shook the ring (okay Randy Anderson sold it like it was a nuclear explosion). Arn quickly picked him up and locked in a sleeper hold for the victory as Liger was out on his feet. The 4 Horsemen win the War Games match. <img src=http://tew.levinuxgaming.com/WWF/Ratings/81.jpg> That counted as a Stunt Bump so of course, Liger suffered a cracked sternum. Take that Inoki!!!

This was a balancing act of not having some of the heavy guys blow up. We also kept the rookie for next to last so he wasn’t asked to carry a whole lot. He was there to have that huge chokeslam spot when he entered to sell the Dungeon maybe winning the match before Hogan’s rescue.

We obviously started off stiff with 2 of the stiffest workers outside of Japan going at each other. Then, the double-teaming started when Zodiac entered. He ended up pairing off with Savage so we could have some actual wrestling in the match, and they did a pretty good job. It wasn’t the previous match’s skill level, but we just amped up the brutality with The Shark and then Windham. Then, The Giant made his entrance as we wanted him to look as impressive as possible as he cleared the faces. All 4 men turned to the door as Hogan sold being a little scared but he psyched himself up ripping his shirt off and flinging his doo-rag into the crowd with Hart yelling into the mic “Go get’em Hulk!”

He made a beeline for Zodiac sending him flying with a couple of rights, elbowed Meng and started alternating shots between him and Shark as the crowd was on their feet. After a few each, he’d sent both of them away when The Giant came up behind him as Hogan visibly gulped. Taskmaster is yelling “Finish Him!!!” He starts pushing him down, and despite Hogan giving it his all, he’s down to one knee. You can tell he’s starting to fade. Heenan is ecstatic on the call. The fingers start tingling, then the arms start shaking, and then Savage comes flying off the top rope with the double axe-handle which staggers The Giant enough to break the hold. Hogan recovers and goes after The Giant while the faces square off with the other 3 heels. Savage eventually nails Zodiac with the flying elbow and locks on a sleeper for the win. The Hulkamaniacs win.<img src=http://tew.levinuxgaming.com/WWF/Ratings/90.jpg> Savage did all that with a broken nose too btw.

I praised Savage, Liger, and Arn since they were all amazing in the matches.

Thanks to everyone who made predictions. Evidently, I should've gone with Harlem Heat since everyone thought that's the proper call. You probably should have checked my Face/Heel tag team list. Once Scott is cleared from his concussion and Animal is back, things will be a bit more balanced, but right now, I have way more heel teams than faces. I am strongly considering bringing back the US tag titles because I love tag team wrestling and have a ton of tag teams, not including the Horsemen and Mega Powers and the remnants of the Dungeon of Doom.
