Couple of quick hitters before we get started

1. I am surprised to now that some people actually enjoy my senseless power-gaming tactics. I am glad, because I too enjoy them, and also the sheer patience needed for some of these runs for me, is always something funner observed, especially if its done with a sense of detail, then performed. Its actually pretty masochistic, especially in this version of the game, but since we have a whole 6 or so months before 2020 is out, I figured I'd get as many of these done as possible before the next version, which of course, I will be starting that game and finding out how how break it will all the new changes included as soon as possible, which is extremely fun especially since it seems like you might actually be able to bankrupt people in that game.

2. I am unsure if this should be in the Dynasties thread, that is probably better answered by Derek B or someone. I really dont want to clutter the dynasty forum with my low quality work. Because then I'll feel obligated to roleplay and post pictures and make nice graphics and logs and all that jazz I'm not nearly patient or smart enough to do.

The major difference between this and my last thread is that I will basically be updating this thread like a journal, going through the entire Challenge post at a time, updating with progress logs, pictures, all included with smarmy commentary and my vocalized strategic plans for actaully completing my goals. It will get math-y, it will be very metagame-y, its also likely the only thread I will ever follow up on and be consistent because as much as I've tried diary writing it just never works out.

So the PSW game stopped at Cult, mainly because I actually played TEW while doing it, and thus I lost my luster for it, I threw away about 200+ shows of progress, only to, if all goes to plan end up doing it over again.

The challenge is simple enough, get to Global and spend 1 month as the number 1 company in the world at Global. I'd like to do every promotion in the game, but I'm not insane and I don't believe that will be possible by Summer of 2020 unless I develop a meth habit. Although to be fair some will be much shorter than others(I'd imagine a company like Burning Hammer could be done in like.. 2 years literally)

Now, for the HOUSE RULEZ

1. The editor will never be used, for any reason ever. ANY reason. If the editor is ever used or anything is not exactly like you get in a default TEW game as its purchased this challenge is invalid.

2. No custom match types will be used unless they are real matches and coherent. For example, no making a deathmatch a regular match just so you don't need hardcore guys to work it. Any match I make for narrative or legitimate gameplay purposes will be screenshotted before use. For QAW, I likely won't be making any matches at all, but for some promotions, mainly companies that have more risqué or hardcore focuses I will occasionally make a real world match not in the game using realistic, coherent settings. For example, the Naked match. Or I might do a Punjabi Prison Match in a Sports Entertainment fed because why not.

3. Any Freestyle angle used must either have no winner, or at least one loser. Honestly I would prefer not to use Freestyle Angles at all but the default angle pack is way too small and doesn't cover enough genuine situations. Basically I'm not going to run a beatdown angle and have all parties win by Major Success. That's stupid. and clearly against the spirit of the feature which was only introduced so that we wouldn't have to scroll through a billion angles for stuff like quantities.

4. I will occasionally use handicap matches and battle royales, but try to keep them at a minimum or for actual gameplay/booking purposes. Basically the whole idea is the company should still be booked in a realistic manner, if you go through my save file and look at my match history there should be some rhyme or reason to it. That being said, I'm far more likely to use random battle royales or handicap matches with jobbers and rookies who basically have no function in terms of the main storylines or main matches. Its basically just to give them something to do which I think is fairly realistic.

Plus I try to use every worker on every show to keep them all happy.

5. Debating whether or not to stop using Specials as Live events, because they are a bit overpowered, but I don't like the alternative of using Weekly either, so I'm kind of stuck here. Hopefully 2020 fixes this.

6. Preference will be to sign Unemployed workers, the amount of workers I share will be limited to less than a handful per save, in QAW due to the DRAMATICALLY reduced talent pool, I will probably share more workers in the womens promotions than I will in men or both gender promotions. This isn't for any real reason other than I don't like sharing workers for logistical purposes. It ends up happening every game just because I'm not going to release a main eventer just because a neighboring regional wants to use him as well. But it's often annoying, and the first time your guy gets injured working for someone else, or isn't available for your big blow off show because he/shes working for a bigger company that night and you run the same schedule every week is enough that you'll never want to do it again.

7. Now if you notice, there is a poll at the top of this thread, its something I'm going back and forth on. I think when I do these challenges, I really prefer to stay as close to the companies original product as possible. If im playing a more mainstream version of PSW, it should still have the occasional PPV deathmatches and general hardcore matches scattered about, same with risqué evening gown matches. If I'm playing Black Canvas Grappling, it doesn't make sense to have full blown Hulk Hogan style angles in what is mostly supposed to be a pure wrestling company. QAW however has some big problems getting past National. Being a womens only company, there aren't enough workers with high enough star quality to consistently win National Battles in a traditional way, so it will take some major jerryrigging and finessing to make this possible. The easiest solution is to simply integrate and rebrand the company as Kings and Queens of Wrestling, but I'm curious to what most think about this.

Now onto the company!

The first thing we are going to do in our playthrough is select our avatar. Now me being a cheeseball I only select avatars in relation to the best asset to my company, since I always know beforehand who I will be playing as.

I play as the owner, but you can play as the Head Booker if you want to, just note the Head Booker version of this challenge is probably worth double or something. The TEW equivalent of hard mode with the owners ridiculous hiring demands/blocks and most importantly contract blocks which basically lets all the other companies steal your talent even when it makes zero sense financially to allow that.

In this case, the best active female wrestler would probably be Alicia Strong

but given I have literally never seen a game where she doesn't get released, I forgo this massive waste of opportunity cost and use the LEGENDARY

Sensational Ogiwara !!!!!

In hindsight this was a mistake and I probably should've used Raven Nightfall or something but close enough!

Anyway, Ogiwara wasn't a terrible choice, she has crazy high top row stats to feed to my workers as well as basics and psychology, but she also has two protegees I'll inevitability sign and get all those sweet broken mentor bonuses backstage that turn your protegees into mutant super workers.

Now the famed member of the Magic 3, Ogiwara isn't standing for these cupcakes, she thinks they need to grow a spine like she did bumping in Japan all her life, so the first she dos when taking over the company is veto the ban on spinal based moves. If the Queens didn't have a spine before they will now.. hahahahaha….ah.

Roster

Darkness Cat, Teresa Perez, Millie the Minx and Houston Handley were all fired immediately, as they suck and have no upside. I confirmed this by looking at their destiny roll seeds after some jerryrigging and comparing it to their starting skills and popularity.

The problem here is that QAW needs 16 workers and only starts with 19. I just fired 4 people.

Connie Morris, Emma Bitch (rebranded as Emma B.) and Kate Avatar were signed in their place.

Connie Morris will be extensively trained on promos almost every show until she is a charismatic not so little hoss of death, because I think she starts in the 20s which is ridiculously bad. On the other hand she has really good performance skills all around, and has aa pre-made tag team I may or may not be lucky enough to abuse(spoilers, I do).

Emma B. gets her named chopped off, because QAW is a family friendly wrestling program and what kind of mainstream name has a non TV friendly swear word in it? Anyway she's completely and utterly decent in every facet, she can be used in a lot of ways, none of them being main eventer or worker of any sort of upper card relevance.

Kate Avatar will eventually get a new gimmick because having the last name Avatar is ridiculous, eventually I'll figure out something to do with her while she develops.

Now onto my destiny rolls, Charity Sweet didn't roll good overness, but she rolled everything else including 76+ Psychology. I don't really need a huge overness cap on her anyway as she'll never be a main star anyway due to her middling star quality and unspectacular top row.

Kate Avatar rolled top NBT in the company, good overness cap(A) and the 3rd best performance stat cap(Functionally 2nd best as phenomenal I've only seen like twice ever, its every bit of a unicorn as the A+ star quality new/regen with charisma. Seriously even Tommy Jr sometimes doesn't get it)

Eve Runcord also rolled it, but I probably won't pay attention to her for like a year because her starting stats make her one of the worst workers in the company. She'll be held onto simply due to her significant potential.

The rest are unimportant.

Schedule

In the masochistic wasteland that is TEW 2016 we will run as many shows as humanly possible so that we can make a 16 million dollar broadcaster to reach Cult in a stable way. If you notice, diary writers will do it the "proper way" then edit in broadcasters to make the climb to National, or even just sustaining Cult much more feasible and less painful. I COULD do this, but as I said, I am playing the original Default database untouched in any way, and my massive masochism will make me go this extreme roundabout way which should theoretically take years. (It will take about a year and a half because I don'thave time for that)

In the first month you can't run that many shows because you are still negative, but after about 15-16 successful shows you'll hit regional, get a massive attendance bump and then can run 15 shows a month or whatever. At most I run about 16 or so shows a month, any more and your workers, especially the poor older ones get broken down, and I'm in this for the long haul, not to abuse my workers so they retire early. This is particularly true for saves like PSW or some Japanese companies where your intensity is high and half your roster will cry to their moms if you run back to back shows. It isn't a good idea, physical deterioration reduces ring performance eventually and again, forces them into earlier retirement if they are old. Plus it can sometimes take several days of not competing for guys to overcome the affects of stamina, and then there are injury issues on top of that which are way more prominent in TEW 2016, especially early on when your entire roster doesn't have insanely high Safety stats.

As far as my Avatar goes, I already run her about one less show than I do the rest of my roster, just because she's already quite broken down and mind you QAW has a relatively meager 20 percent match intensity, albeit a slightly higher than average 40 percent match danger.

Early Game Strategy

So we have Jillian Jarvis, and Foxxy Larue, Danielle Sweetheart. All 3 of these workers are easily capable of carrying a Small promotion, in fact, the early game for this company is pretty much a joke. Workers gain a lot of pop organically on pop = performance companies and your starting roster, barring the obvious prospects is way too good to be down so low.

Now the one thing is you aren't in the COTT and will have regional battles, but again, your starting workers are so strong this shouldn't be a long term issue.

This for example is the first show I ever run

nJ2CdOR.png

Old woman Ogiwara should've retired years ago! Burying new talent with her cloggers! *shakes fist*

Turns out Anderson and Snyder have excellent chemistry. Combined with existing tag chemistry and decent destiny rolls and they should basically be a permanent fixture in our tag division even all the way up to Global.

They are both also very young in their 20s. Also both Tag chemistry, tag experience and tag teams in general are broken in this game. Abuse it.

Speaking of abusing it, I spent most of my early shows spamming all sorts of insane tag matches fishing for more tag chemistry for my lower carders.

My first sell out! 3 shows in!

A3g2dcB.png

So Emma May and Emma B have tag chemistry together. After discovering this, I spent a good 10 minutes trying to find some sort of pun using the name of Emma, and failed miserably. Emma in fact just isn't very punny. So I went with Emmanators so that everyone who reads this cringes.

Two permanent tag teams down! By the way we also have The Anti-Establishment of Pamela Rojo and Hellcat Hernandez who are both good and experienced enough with each other to be kept on as a tag team despite the lack of chemistry.

And Crackdown is here for as long as I can keep up with Toni Parissi's BS, and this is on a build with 10 Diplomacy! Speaking of Crackdown, the pre-established Ronin 3 has Jillian Jarvis who is awesome two non-descript workers who happen to team together, and probably the worst manager in the game. Seriously, if Vinnie Cruz wasn't dating Jillian Jarvis I would fire him immediately in every game ever. I think this is why Adam added the relationship to force people to use this abomination as some sort of cruel April Fools joke. VINNIE YOU ARE AWFUL. He also literally rolled negative chemistry with EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF RONIN 3. I put him on some random jobber I forgot and left him to never be used again until his contract expires.

Anyway, I closed the month out figuring out that Kate Avatar and Charity Sweet, two of the top prospects in the whole company have tag chemistry, so I renamed Kate Avatar to Kate Sour and named the tag team Sweet and Sour.

Now you may think this is the worst thing you've ever heard, but I don't intend to have a large Avatar family in my Cverse game, so Kate Sour she is permanently unless I decide to give her a masked luchadora gimmick or dress her up as a giant chicken.

Final card of the month

2FWyDq5.png

So we did an old school naughties WWE move, the feuds were Tamara McFly who I for some reason bring in to every single promotion I do. I think in this case mostly because I needed someone for Jillian to feud with and shes a nice gal in the back for locker room morale. Anyway she was feuding with Jarvis and Foxxy was feuding with Morris so we did that thing where they all come out for no reason at all and argue until Teddy Long books a tag team match happening tonight here in Texas playa! This is also an excuse to use Connie in angles to get her entertainment skills up, we are basically going to be doing this almost every show it makes sense, and mostly by constantly having her involved with feuds rather than just have her cut a senseless promo(these get graded worse by far anyway, which she can't really afford as her entertainment skills are actual poop). Generally speaking, in TEW,2016, its a good idea to have all of your major, best grading workers involved n feuds, as storyline heat is very easy to build in this game legitimately, and the more hot your storylines are, the easier it is to get good grades. It's like a vicious circle all revolving around abusing storylines.

Featured Attraction is the team of Danielle Sweetheart and Alexis Lee Littlefeather, who also turned out to have tag chemistry. This was a good thing as I had already exhausted the maximum amount of Jarvis vs Sweetheart singles matches in the first month, and I needed something for Sweetheart to do and still be relevant. Turns out feuding for the Tag Titles which are listed as Floating in this company was really good, and graded superbly while boosting the hell out of the Tag Title prestige.

To close out January....

We are uh

4jL7kdm.png

Clearly on the road to bankruptcy. So I had to stop running shows in like Week 3 because this is clearly not going to work. I took my sponsorship money for the month and called it a month. Next month we should be on the road to financial prosperity!

The thing about Ava and Lily's chemistry is that that's in the default database. Any playthrough will see them have that, so any general QAW strategy should take that into account.

Interesting, looking at it now there are exactly 4 teams that have pre-set chemistry. I’m not sure if I agree with this but hey we are just working with the game we are given.

January At a Glance

Overall January was a disastrous month financially, but a good one popularity wise. We managed 8 shows, and increased our popularity in the Mid South from 24 to 28.

The main storylines in QAW towards the end of the month were Featured Attraction(Littlefeather and Sweetheart) defeating Crackdown for the Tag Titles.

Speaking of Crackdown, as we mentioned before, Ronin 3 isn't going to work for me. Parissi is annoying backstage and isn't talented enough to justify it, and neither have exceptional ceilings either. I ran an angle where Jillian Jarvis basically bullies them, turning into the Alpha Emma in Charge and humiliates them by challenging and defeating them in a Handicap match just to show them whos boss.

Raquel Alvarado was fired for being a disruptive malcontent and Tamara McFly and Farrah Hesketh protégé Maria Guest were brought in to close out January's transaction report.

McFly is a solid veteran midcarder who adds to the locker room harmony, and Guest is mostly brought in for the positive relationship, she offers little to nothing to QAW and will be on perpetual job duties until she gets much better. She's super young, so she has plenty of time to tread her way up the card.

Now onto February!

Toni Parissi had two more locker room incidents with other workers this month, bringing it to 3 total. Needless to say, I'm counting down the days Crackdown is to be phased out, as there is no way I'm going to keep putting up with this at the pace she's going. She's almost singlehandedly tanking the locker room down to the 80s when it should be in the high 90s.

Geena the Warrior Princess and Mary Beth Chase were signed to long term deals.

Geena was mostly brought in as a longer term project, but she went into time decline shortly after signing her, so I will soon be giving up on her.

Mary Beth is awful and will be losing every match.

exq4YM9.png

The first card of February, looking back I'm really not sure why I had Foxxy taunt Coonie AFTER the match, but I'm pretty sure that was an accident and caused by the dyslexic way I put my shows together(also being addressed in 2020!

Now that I know my tag teams I'm going to run with and have a full blown division, I'm basically just spamming tag matches to build my teams experience up, so almost every show will feature these teams. The higher their experience the higher the grades in the future, slowly building up that Spirit Bomb.

sVqmPxi.png

See this? There are two notable things here, number 1 is this is the first show in my new venue, I've finally upgraded! Prior to this you may have noticed I was using a generic venue, that is because it is simply more efficient to do so than sell out at 1k. It's just a small trick to make some extra money and could be the difference between hitting a breakpoint where you are profitable or not.

The second thing is you may notice a particular very important main champion is missing on this card, Jillian Jarvis got signed by 5SSW and decided to fly to Japan to not even get on the card, rather than help us raise 16 million dollars so women can take over the wrestling industry. I resisted the urge to fire her for such treason and instead relied on my overpowered tag division to get me through with similar grades. Herein lies the real beauty of QAW< not only is my top worker absentee, I had midcarders in my Main Event and still managed a similar grade and show rating of C-.

S0ZgIKj.png

It's a celebration people! We have completed step one, The extreme early game phase is now complete, and we are now Regional, and profitable on each show henceforth.

16 lucky shows is all it took this time around to hit that magical profitable threshold, and we completed this in mid February.

qBqEOGa.png

Monster jump in attendance here, again at a generic venue to be more cost efficient. Also from a gameplay standpoint we see some interesting things here. One I'm still spamming the midcard tag matches, two at this point I'm still believing that Geena the Warrior Princess is a thing and still trying to push her, in fairness to me, my plans were mostly foiled by bad RNG, but I also think that this was way too much development work for a wrestler this old. Contrast to Connie Morris who already had elite performance stats sans Psychology and was also younger to boot. I paired them together as some sort of Amazon tag team, mostly so they could run angles together and boost their entertainment stats at the same time, Geena actually has decent charisma so it seemed worthwhile.

On the other hand, Jillian Jarvis gets fed up with Crackdown losing to Featured Attraction and decides to face them herself, she takes Toni over Juana and Toni ends up getting pinned, causing Jillian to be irate and attack both members of Crackdown with a chair after the match. Notice the forced usage of the Freestyle Angle here, that's because TEWs default angle pack doesn't believe in 1 person beating up 2 unless its some sort of monster character, and not just a pissed of dominant champion with a weapon. Anyway, this was just a standard Success/Defeat/Defeat angle.

This did not turn Crackdown, as the very next show starts with a 3 wo(man) angle where Crackdown basically submits to Jillian and tries to appease her, basically the entire angle is running on an extreme submission motif, where Crackdown is codependent on the dominant in ring and out Jillian Jarvis, but reaches their snapping point and turns face, thus breaking the association and allowing me to use Crackdown as proper gatekeepers rather than company headliners.

This included several events where Jillian Jarvis would win handicap matches, including a handicap match win over Featured Attraction and then the Anti-Establishment. Basically booked to be super dominant.

sfvLbXx.png

This is the event that concludes February, note this featured my best match ever, Jillian Jarvis beating both of Featured Attraction but with the caveat that it was a Triangle match with the title on the line rather than a genuine handicap match, which promotes all sorts of interesting psychology.

Foxxy and Morris' endless feud continues, and Morris still holds the Shockwave title.

At the end of the month I ended up signing Mac Smith to make a third on commentary, as I plan on upgrading my commentators as soon as possible.

February at a Glance

fzYNgJE.png

Financially it was still a bit rough, but at the end of the month we were making money on shows, which means from here on we should only be profiting every month. 16 million never seemed so far away.

Very little turnover happened this month, although Toni Parissi is slowly working her way to the Unemployment line if she keeps up with her Melina esque antics in the back. Overall a lot of workers grew in both skill and popularity, which led a balanced effort, but Jillian Jarvis really carried the way so far. We basically are killing everyone else in the indies in terms of show grades, and it's only going up from here.

We gained yet another 4 popularity, going from 28 to 32. Slowly but surely we are going to be making a lot of money and boosting our way up the global rankings.

Authors Side Note on Momentum

You may notice how I develop my tag division and also my lower card as a whole is by making them lose a lot to workers up the card, this basically is a simple strategy regarding the harmony of the momentum ecosystem. Basically any workers of real consequence, meaning those high enough to get grades enough to boost your show rating, whether it be angles or matches should always be kept in good momentum, in TEW2016, contrast to a game like 2013 where the momentum ecosystem had to be maximized in a completely different and much more convoluted manner (generally abusing debuting workers as well as creating momentum farm storylines) the momentum ecosystem is extremely simple, have the workers succeed in angles or matches to boost their momentum.

The simple way to do this is simply feed your lower carders. to your uppercarders, which will then cause your uppercards to have positive momentum and the lower carders to have lower momentum.

However the ecosystem reaches full efficiency by utilizing turns to reset all negative momentum to neutral.

This essentially creates a system of infinite positive momentum, inevitably. The trick is that a worker will not receive a momentum reset if they have less than 70 in either the babyface or heel rating they are attempting to switch to, that doesn’t mean to NOT switch them. As one they will eventually be able to turn back this getting them the reset, but they should also spend time at their weaker disposition, particularly if young, so they can train it while they are still fairly irrelevant in terms of grading out, because uppercarders working the wrong disposition is actually quite a noticeable penalty.

QAW among their many other benefits of their starting roster, largely has a roster full of versatile workers that can work either babyface or heel, one of the few min exceptions ironically is Jillian Jarvis, who really should never need to turn given her skills and starting position on the roster. Even the young prospects, Sweet, Runcord, Anderson and Snyder and Emma May can play both parts.

For me, particularly when hiring and particularly when hiring newgens, I won’t even hire someone unless they have.a feasible path to 70+ in both(being young enough and not so far off to be able to train it) or they are so gifted otherwise I’d be satisfied running them one disposition their entire careers because they were that talented.

I have two questions at this point. Which region is your target as you grow through regional? And why is 16 million your £$ target?

I’m running shows in the Mid South until I reach my monetary goal.

I’ll likely be in the high 70s to low 80s in the Mid South when I hit the goal, at that point I will create a Small sized Free to Air broadcaster costing roughly 16 million dollars and then run all of my shows on this broadcast until I hit Cult.

Once I hit Cult I’ll continue to run on the free broadcaster until I get into the low 50s Nationally, then I’ll abandon my free broadcast and run exclusively on PPV.

Couple of other things of note.

8VakIHH.png

This Is the build I'm using specifically catered to QAW, the reason is that pretty much all women promotions run through Fuyiko Higa and knowing in advanced Id essentially be forced into hiring her due to her being one of the only TEW database workers capable of producing a strong enough National Battle score.

This is also something I should've mentioned a little more in depth, as you've noticed I've already taken many additional steps to ensure the lockerroom harmony, including hiring locker room joy Tamara McFly and loading up on relationships with Maria Guest.

And this isn't something that will be slowing down. Higa will likely have her fair share of incidents, but the max diplomacy score gives me the highest chance of improving her behavior in the long run, and unlike Toni Parissi types I will basically put up with Iga no mater what she does outside of starting a drug addiction randomly.

Negotiating is a useless stat, especially as the owner, and should never have points invested in it. Worker salary amounts simply don't matter in this game and never have, you win negotiations by outbidding your opponents, simple as that. As the Head Booker, owner blocks make the negotiating stat slightly more useful, as you can win a close race with a rival company without giving up the farm, but again, the more prudent owner decides who wins, and it's very rare and unlikely a few extra points will make the difference. As a head booker I might put 2 points into it, as the owner I always leave it empty.

Motivating is an all around useful stat I put more into it for companies that are heavy performance based or have a lot of young workers. But I never have less than 5 points in this.

Creativity Not that important but always nice to have if your company uses gimmicks. Obviously, if your company doesn't use gimmicks, don't even bother with this.

Leadership and Diplomacy Putting these together as they essentially do the same thing. You should favor Leadership when you are looking to better control a more chaotic lockeroom, In the C-Verse, its fairly uncommon to have TOO many bad apples, although later in saves where the more talented re/newgens tend to have very bad attitudes, this can be the case. Diplomacy is favored when you have only a few super talented bad apples you are trying to make less douchy. It takes a while, but generally is worth it. In a an older PSW save, I even had Big Smack Scott organizing video game tournaments and generally being a nice person to people after a while, although he later relapsed back into being a bit of a jackass, he was still very manageable.

Integrate man. It's THE opportunity to do something of a "Royal pair" title. Would make for some lovely segments.

Women-only promotions aren't cheesy games anymore because of the poaching going around, but I'd like to see a take on the 50/50 gender split, maybe with intergender tag matches. It's also a great way to improve the female workers.

MARCH

Opened the month signing the world renowned, super famous, all time legend PETER MICHAELS!

One would wonder why he has fallen so far, but let me ask you this, you are a 50 year old man and someone offers you an announcing gig and all your co-workers are beautiful, fit and mostly single women. Thought so!

Anyway I fired Alfonso Garcia because he's terrible.

I finished the months signings with Natalie DeMarco and Golden Deliciious

Natalie DeMarco is a super young athletic prospect with really high potential, she'll eventually be world class. The main thing with Natalie is she cant really be pushed until her pitiful top row stats improve, so she's a multi year project at best.

Golden Delicious... I'm not really sure why I signed her to be honest. She has decent star quality and can play both roles well, she's just sort of a solid all around veteran and I wanted a stable midcarder other than McFly. Also she has this erotic stripper name that appeals to me subconsciously, but nevermind that.

Unsurprisingly, I fired Mary Beth Chase after jobbing her for momentum 10 times in a row, she is terrible and will never work here again. :)

To the shows

D7eJQPK.png

Super Jillian is at it again! Cena, I mean Jillian buries an up and coming tag team by looking strong by winning a tag match. And no she didn't cheat, think back when Cena dominated the Wyatt Family in a handicap match and made them all look like bums, that's the booking we are going for.

Tag matches continue to be OP, with now Featured Attraction gaining a ton of experience at this point together, and they are almost outgrading Jillian at times.

Tamara McFly got very over from her lengthy feud with Jillian Jarvis, and her natural solid all around stats combined with her well above average physicals makes her a solid matchup with even jobbers in terms of grades.

Ml6JanD.png

Connie Morris finally loses the Shockwave title to Alina America, who is due for a mini-push. Sweet and Sour continue to improve at tremendous rates, and had the match of the night against Featured Attraction. And there is the initial setup of a Jarvis/Foxxy feud finally with Foxxy going through Crackdown first to get to Jarvis, you know, typical heel lackey stuff.

i8sd3az.png

Despite their 50/50 midcard booking The Anti-Establishment has gotten over pretty heavy, I take the moment to have Pamela Rojo have a mini feud with Jarvis, only to be shock turned on by Hellcat Hernandez during the Main Event. Hernandez resents the fact that Rojo is considered the better of the two because of her size and turns heel in a shock turn.

QAW is welcomed into Irvine Hall! We are still moving on up, to the East side, to a deluxe apar-.... we are moving up the local scene in Texas.

I did a Strange Bedfellows match here, I'm not really sure why, I think this was more to do with where I ended up in the booking process. I had already essentially exhausted this feud, with Jarvis beating Foxxy each time, but I didn't have anyone for Jarvis to feud with, which put me in limbo booking where I essentially had random matchups involving over workers. From here I basically pivoted to an Alina America feud since this was the only thing Jarvis had left among actual babyfaces.

Pamela Roja was slightly more over than Hellcat at this time and went over in the grudge match.

wgPAnBV.png

And the last March event with the mentioned Alina America feud start. DiMarco, Golden Delicious and last months Maria Guest are all just getting their feet wet here, basically doing noting of note but working in multi-(wo) man matches or jobbing to stars.

March in a Nutshell

Yet another 4 overness in the Mid South gained, we are now at a solid 36, a whopping 12 points higher than gem start.

March was also a great month financially (Finally!) as we turned a profit on every show.

NPcijbs.png

Amazing huh, we still haven't even broke even from where we started, but now at a profit rate of 80k per month, were are only .. let's see, drop the 1 carry the 2 …

200 months away from our goal! Or 16 and a half years!

Ok but not really. It won't take nearly that long as long as we continue to grow in pop, especially at our current rate of 4 per month.

Would be kinda cool. Did have some ideas for it on the creative side,. The penalty for integration is about 3 months worth of pop, but given it may take way longer than 3 months to produce enough women that can score 800 or greater in National Battles it might be worth doing.

Especially given you know, Alicia Strong, a GOAT tier worker produces some meager 780 something.

At this point, most seem firmly against it, so I think I will play all 3 womens promotions (assuming I get there) straight up and leave the integrated company to a custom company.

<p><span style="font-size:24px;">April</span></p><p> </p><p>

April saw the signings of the game's first new gen <strong>Vivian "Cousin Viv" Howard, </strong></p><p><strong>

Gorgon and Persephone. </strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

"Cousin Viv" was given that name because I thought of Aunt Vivian from the Fresh Prince but she's only 19 and is too young to be an Aunt. She's a decent brawler with marginal upside.</p><p> </p><p>

Gorgon is a true game changer, already over, she is a borderline elite talent who can do just about everything other than sell, and she brings a rare powerhouse to the QAW rankings outside of her now tag team partner Connie Morris. She will be a big threat in singles, but her partnership with Connie Morris as the <strong>Missouri Bruisers</strong> should see them as one of QAWs most dominant tag teams.</p><p> </p><p>

Gorgon has been on the radar for a while, and adds even further potential with the earlier signing of Morris.</p><p> </p><p>

Persephone was signed by default as an over female. She'll likely just sit there adding a small bonus to some worker she has good chemistry with, I rarely use managers as the main part of the show as most don't have the skill or overness to justify it.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="EtEEEak.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EtEEEak.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

First show of April, and Crackdown has finally turned on Jillian Jarvis after months of her abuse and bullying. Jarvis recruited Connie Morris as a tag partner and faced off against her former Ronin 3 allies, while the Anti-Establishment feud rages on.</p><p>

Featured Attraction are doing well with the Tag Belts, putting on ME quality matches with almost every tag team in the division.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="90No1VB.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/90No1VB.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

New Tag Champions! As you can see, I am about as original as Vince McMahon, and have yet another partner turn which costs Featured Attraction the Tag titles. The main reason for this was to push <strong>Danielle Sweetheart </strong>back into singles competition. The company was also getting heavy on heel uppercarders, especially with a lot of the talent organically getting over on that side and some new signings, so freeing up a babyface who also was a headliner would set up a lot of future feuds.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Crackdown</strong> to the babyface side also allowed me a tag team that would hopefully maintain the prestige of the title that Featured Attraction had set, at least until they were to drop it.</p><p> </p><p>

The Tamara McFly/Cousin Viv grade was strange, and not replicated before or after. I wanted Foxxy to lose in the handicap match as part of the feud between her and Alina America but she refused, so I had to have some sort of hokey booking where the 3 sabotage themselves and Foxxy steals a win in a handicap match. Unlike the booking of Jarvis who won her handicap matches clean.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="f6Cn7iA.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/f6Cn7iA.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Well this was embarrassing, you ever go to the booking screen for a show, book a title match, then get the message that the holder isn't in the match, then you go back and realize your last show you accidentally booked the wrong winner with a misclick in a title match and didn't notice it before you ended the show? Yeah, well Crackdown wasn't supposed to drop here. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Anyway, Anderson and Snyder have been doing well and get their first accidental title run. It's probably going to be brief.</p><p> </p><p>

Gorgon has her first singles match in the company in a feud with Tamara McFly, Tamara made a lot of sense as she is essentially in that gatekeeper spot who is a solid hand who will make Gorgon look good but isn't too important to have winning feuds. The show closes with 3 amazing matches, with the Sweetheart/America feud producing a B, the Sweetheart/Littlefeather feud producing a B, and a title match between Jillian Jarvis and Rojo getting a B.</p><p> </p><p>

I briefly stopped using a lot of my lowercarders to maximize show grades for a bit, I wouldn't recommend doing this that often though. They are just losing stats.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="fTCYMQB.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/fTCYMQB.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

April closes out with a filler event, almost nothing of note happens here, Gorgon has moved on to a feud with Foxxy LaRue and is continued to be booked as a dominant force. </p><p> </p><p>

Danielle Sweetheart is being groomed for a headlining role, and continues her forward momentum winning big matches post her feud with Alexis Lee Littlefeather, which she won.</p><p> </p><p>

Jillian Jarvis doesn't have a feud, and after title defenses against Crackdown in solo matches continues to have mini-skirmishes with them. This is obviously a setup for a second Jarvis/Sweetheart feud, but I need to stall for a few more weeks so the repetitive booking doesn't ruin big event.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Another month, another 4 pop! Overall another great month for QAW, with highly graded events, most of the roster developing into supremely skilled workers who are over big in the Mid South. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="6hAdRjs.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6hAdRjs.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Financially, another step in the right direction, but still a LONG LONG way to go before hitting our goals.</p><p>

Still you can see we are making quite a bit of money here, and will have no problems affording basically anyone we want to keep.</p>

<p>I like this format. But how are you seeing their destiny rolls?</p><p> </p><p>

One question I have though is, are you playing with restricted areas on? I typically turn it off (or use the passport code so the starting workers can move around but newgens can't) since it's not really realistic in modern days. From Awesome Kong to Sumie Sakai, the Aussie girls (Madison Eagles, Jessie McKay/Billie Kay, KC Cassidy/Peyton Royce, Tenille Dashwood, Shazza McKenzie, Kellie Skater, Evie/Dakota Kai, etc), Nikki Cross, and several Joshi who have made US and UK appearances without being crazy over. TEW doesn't open up new areas for workers quickly enough (if at all) and it seems relatively random. That'll give you access to some really good workers (Laura McKenna, Karen Bilous, Zofia Jankovic, Queen Amazon, Otsune Tsumura, etc) and at least one firmly established team (Electric Blue). I know you want to avoid sharing workers but some of them are excellent gatekeepers in-ring wise.</p><p> </p><p>

You always bring in Tamara McFly because she's awesome. She's that midcard lynchpin who can occasionally support a main event storyline and she's great backstage. She's kinda like The Miz in that way.</p><p> </p><p>

I envy you. In my last 8 QAW saves, I've never gotten a shot at Gorgon or Raven Nightfall before time decline set in (unless I change the decline age in the database and fix it to something like 40 or 45).</p><p> </p><p>

I commend you for using the default product since I never could. At a minimum, I always raise the Modern to Key Feature.</p><p> </p><p>

Oh and I voted against integration. That makes growing way too easy and puts a strain on suspension of disbelief.</p><p> </p><p>

<p><span style="font-size:24px;">MAY</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Signings: <strong>Concepcion Gomez</strong> and <strong>Ed Monton</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Workers Leaving : <strong>Geena The Warrior Princess </strong>(Fired)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Concepcion Gomez was brought on for no reason in particular other than she's decent and unemployed. Just wanted to give her a go because my lockeroom is stable and can handle another negative influence. Ed Monton was brought in because QAW's starting Road Agent is Miss Mexico who has lower psychology than you'd want from a primary road agent.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Geena The Warrior Princess was let go early in the month, ending the experiment of Geena as a major player in QAW, with her low starting overness and affliction of Time Decline, she was no longer worth the investment of building her up when there are plenty of talents that don't need so much work, and her ceiling is completely compromised by age related decline which affected her I believe the second month I had her on the roster. Pretty unlucky, but that's TEW BABY!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

In another note, Toni Parissi had about her 5th backstage incident, if she misbehaves ONE MORE TIME, I will personally put her in the Scorpion Deathlock! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="32t45ws.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/32t45ws.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

If you hadn't noticed, running this many shows in such a short period of time with minimal roster turnover puts a huge strain on booking, ergo, Im relying a lot on random multi (wo)man matches to fill out cards, I fluctuate between big storyline matches and events and random cards with random matches on it. I probably should name them differently but I honestly can't be bothered because nothing matters until we hit TV anyway.</p><p> </p><p>

Missouri Bruisers are feuding with Crackdown while the Main Event remains a jumbled mess.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="Yp0dHmM.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Yp0dHmM.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

And the new!</p><p> </p><p>

Pamela Rojo interferes in the Shockwave title match, and Golden Delicious captures her first title in QAW! Sweetheart and Leefeather continue to work out their differences by pummeling each other into submission.</p><p> </p><p>

Jarvis is missing again! 5SSW didn't even use her, she flew to Japan to not be on the show. Good job idiot. If there was a female equivalent of Hornswaggle or the Minor Annoyance in TEW I would've fed you to her because I'm petty. Unfortunately there isn't and nothing will come of this.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="RnDprLZ.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/RnDprLZ.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

As the great CM Punk once said, "My year was like 5 of your years!". This is true, the long reign of terror of Jillian Jarvis is finally over, but after a year in real time and the booking equivalent of probably close to a 3-4 year title run based on the number of defenses and events. Jillian Jarvis truly one of the GOATS of QAW.</p><p> </p><p>

Foxxy wisely takes out Connie Morris backstage before her match with Gorgon to ensure no interference, however Gorgon pummels her anyway. Unlucky.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="iQNwReu.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/iQNwReu.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

So through sheer worker improvement and organic overness gains, my midcard, upper midcard and tag division have become immensely useful, thus you see here one of the first but definitely not the last time the match of the night is not my main or co main event. Instead it's the <strong>Missouri Bruisers </strong>taking their first run as Tag Champions. Well deserved for their dominant performances and excellent showings.</p><p> </p><p>

We also have gone full WWE in our lack of creative storyline buildup, but again, empathizing a bit with WWE who run about this many shows if not more in real life, and the creative at this rate is difficult to sustain...anyway.</p><p>

America attacks Sweetheart after a match and wants a title shot, woohoo... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="1ou2QFo.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1ou2QFo.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

America and Sweetheart scheduled a match, however Jarvis complained about not getting a rematch she was owed, so a TRIANGLE match was made! This also conveniently got me out of the fact that Sweetheart vs Jarvis 4 was repetitive still. Convenient!</p><p> </p><p>

This is the first sellout at Irvine Hall, showing our tremendous growth through the regional circuit.</p><p> </p><p>

Also the main event triangle match between these 3 was the highest graded match ever done in QAW at this point. Bonus time! (not really)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="GeTRMKD.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GeTRMKD.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Jarvis wants a proper rematch in a singles competition so it opens the show impromptu, I probably should've ran an angle before this but I forgot. </p><p>

Then the scheduled match happens so Sweetheart pulls double duty.</p><p>

At the end of the show, the Missouri Saltlords attack Danielle mad because they lost their match, but Alexis Lee Littlefeather who misses her old tag partner makes the save after walking up the entrance ramp in dramatic fashion then running back to help. She turns babyface and <strong>Featured Attraction</strong> is back together! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />:D <span style="font-size:10px;"><span style="font-size:8px;">I don't have feuds for Danielle </span></span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="ufQMDj4.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ufQMDj4.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Only 3 overness.</p><p>

Wow what a bust. </p><p>

Playthrough over Im washed up. Goodnight everyone.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<p><span style="font-size:24px;">June</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Signings: <strong>Jana Marie Bowen</strong> ,<strong> Ellie May Walton, Kate Lilly, Dunton Hall</strong></p><p><strong>

Amber Allen, Joanne Rodriguez, April Appleseed , Alicia Strong</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

Firings: Toni Parissi</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

First things first, Toni Parissi got into another incident with Ava Anderson, I resisted the urge to put her in the Scorpion Deathlock and just fined her. She proceeded to have yet another incident <strong><em>24 HOURS LATER</em></strong> . I fined her again. A week later she had another incident, I fired her. Enough is enough woman, you are an absolute blight to society.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

With the booking getting more tight and a lot of releases recently decided to go on a big signing splurge, JMB and EMW were brought in as a tag team, but JMB is versatile and can be used in a lot of different spots if the tag team doesn't work out. Kate Lilly was unceremoniously canned and left collecting unemployment, so I gave a her job as a singles worker because she's pretty good.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dunton Hall</strong> I signed as a project to develop him into a killer authority figure type with is high charisma, then I realized he has no babyface or heel performance for some reason(this seems like a database error) and would receive penalties for every and also take insanely long to get over with his 0 star quality. So yeah this was kind of a wasted signing and thank the TEW gods I don't have access to writtens. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Amber Allen was also canned, but she's really, really good, some of these bookers are sillier than WCW under Kevin Nash.</p><p> </p><p>

Joanne Rodriguez I'm sharing with AA because I needed another Main Eventer. I may have mentioned I'm running out of feuds for Danielle Sweetheart because the Missouri Bruisers holding the tag belts severely compromises my heel main event scene. So here we are, making moves.</p><p> </p><p>

Note, Foxxy Larue, Alexis Lee Littlefeather, and Tamara McFly are all babyfaces at this point, so the only "QAW Original" heels I have left are Jarvis who is already a used feud. This is one of the few follies of QAWs starting roster, as they are completely loaded up on prospects who are extremely talented but pretty far off main eventing, and their drop off after their big 4 is pretty steep. Juana Hurracan and Toni Parissi for example aren't real main eventers, but the default database treats them as if they are company cornerstones when really they are both average.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Finally Alicia Strong got released for some reason, maybe hard feelings from Adam Pecker, releasing the former boss's daughter as a final F-U to the old regime. It certainly couldn't be for any business or practical reason. I signed her immediately.</p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="8eMqW2r.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/8eMqW2r.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Featured Attraction vs the Missouri Bruisers is the best feud I can make right now given my roster limitations, and it pays immediate dividends with a stellar match to open June.</p><p>

At this point, <strong>Anderson and Snyder</strong> who mostly were relegated to losing are actually getting a real push after the accidental title run. They got over big without winning very many matches and now are hitting big grades in the undercard.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="8eMqW2r.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/8eMqW2r.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Title change, you may notice Tamara McFly the standard boring, safe midcarder get the Shockwave title. That's because Golden Delicious is now rebranded as <strong>Ms Melanie Flyman</strong>, utilizing a High Society, aristocrat gimmick managed by Dunton Hall. She's a stereotypical pompous heel, and is feuding with Foxxy LaRue, who interfered in her match to take the title off her so she can work bigger programs.</p><p> </p><p>

The reason for this rebrand had nothing to do with any booking reasons, I just think a 36 year old woman with a stripper name like Golden Delicious is unbecoming.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Vanguard is the tag team of JMB and Ellie Marie Walton. They don't have chemistry and are totally otherwise unexciting in every way, they will mostly be losing to my other tag teams.</p><p> </p><p>

Creative has nothing for Jillian Jarvis unfortunately as she toils away in random lower card matches. Free Jillian.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="wlwOvor.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wlwOvor.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I fixed this eventually, J-Ro makes her debut and assists fellow veteran Tamara McFly in her feud with Alina America. Jillian Jarvis also gets involved for obvious reasons. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Ms. Melanie actually beats Foxxy, ending her feud in the upper card and although Featured Attraction was getting the better of the feud early, The Missouri Bruisers ended up retaining their tag titles in pretty good main event.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="ArSpHYO.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ArSpHYO.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Naturally, Sweetheart's feud with the Bruisers extended to singles, and she has a mini-feud with newly crowned champion Gorgon. She beats Gorgon at her own game, a brutal brawl Strap match, Sweetheart also being one of the best brawlers in the company. </p><p> </p><p>

It wasn't the barnburner that some other main events have been, but it's good enough to raise my popularity significantly.</p><p> </p><p>

The Ms Melanie Flyman push continues, and she is firmly, at least currently one of the top heels in the company outside of the main eventers.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="GMJIEfh.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GMJIEfh.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I don't think I could ever play the game like this, but I must say it's fascinating to read! :D

Thank you. It gets a bit less tedious in the mid game where you don't have to book as many shows.

Im thinking once that happens I can make it a bit more diary-ish. Not full blown show writeups, but post event cards and have magazine style recaps of events.

The issue is really that regional in the US works oddly, as you have to book almost 750 shows across the country to reach a TV deal on a Cult company without using any shortcuts and adding broadcasters.

This is assuming you don't utilize this more efficient method of money farming until you get a TV deal in this hilariously unrealistic way.

Anyway, I enjoy writing and doing "climb" diaries because I think they are fun and also fun to follow. Historians Climb Diary is my favorite on the website, but it's much more narrative driven and as a result, features a bit of things which really aren't true to TEW as someone who would just pick it up and play, mostly in that it uses custom broadcasters as well as liberal usage of the editor to create narratives for new workers(something I do when I am playing purely for fun as well). Again, not a knock, this isn't unreasonable, Id argue the unreasonable thing is being so masochistic to not add them in, but essentially, these are done for the sake of the most authentic Default playing experience.

<p><span style="font-size:24px;">July</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Additions: <strong>Debbie Rose, Lora Washington</strong></p><p>

Releases : <strong> Alina America (Leaving for USPW in Early August)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Debbie Rose was singed in on a shared deal with AAA, one of the few I will do this save, simply because I wanted the tag team with Kate Lilly. Lilly was released outright and unemployed so I brought her in as a standalone, but really there is no reason for me not to sign Debbie Rose any longer, <strong>since I've surpassed AAA in popularity </strong> and now get show prioritization for shared workers. The possibility of injury is still annoying, but these companies typically run one show a month so it's really not much of a threat, compared to say, sharing with PGHW or something.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Lora Washington was similarly canned, and left to collect Unemployment as an "independent contractor" probably. Either way I rescue her from this inconvenience and sign her. Shes not very good in comparison to almost all of my non rookie workers but she's reasonably over.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

No one got fired or ragequit the company this month. However, at the very end of the month Alina America accepted a contract for USPW and put in her 7 days notice. Alina is an atrocious worker with limited charisma, she somehow had the worlds worst destiny roll and has insanely low caps in almost everything, but man does she LOOK good. Either way, I kinda need her back after a while, so I'll be monitoring her contract status and usurping her back from Peckerhead once I rise through the ranks.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="18uV3xg.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/18uV3xg.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Very little going on here and for good reason, <strong>CROWNING THE QUEEN is this month!</strong> . Holding off on storylines because of this and just running a bunch of generic matches. I don't want to builds storylines when most top workers will be featured in a giant tournament for the big show this month.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="hunJKkK.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hunJKkK.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Crowning the Queen was the best show QAW has ever done, and the hype behind it and prestige of the event moved up into the next building up. </p><p> </p><p>

Here we also used a cheap little power gaming tactic, since we are running all our Live shows as one time specials, the prestige of the event rapidly increases to the max, something we'll be using much later on to basically guarantee max attendance for every event, with the downside being we HAVE to use every single worker in EVERY show or they will become furious at being left off of a Legendary event. Anyway, the trick is to simply switch the Special to your Annual event you want to be super duper important and it maintains the prestige. This is a lot more feasible than waiting for your company WrestleMania equivalent to be run 20 something times over as many years.</p><p> </p><p>

After this I simply just made a new Live event with Normal Importance, after all of my "cornerstone annual events" are pumped-up in prestige, I won't bother resetting the Live event prestige until I hit Cult, then I'll switch to a less aggressive schedule in general.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway there are two cut off matches, one is Alicia Strong beating Ms Melanie in a 79 rated match and Danielle Sweetheart defeating Lora Washington in a 75 rated match. Now what I want to do next year is create a special match type so the 2nd round 4 v 4s are an elimination match, but what I'll like to is simply swap my Live event at Legendary Prestige into the second part of this event and make it a 2 day show so I can do all singles matches. This is also why I'm stripping this event of Season Finale and giving it to another 1 day event.</p><p> </p><p>

Alicia Strong ends up winning the whole damn thing, not too surprising as she is both the companies best worker by far and also the most over, and she's also been getting artificially boosted to hell by Sensational Ogiwara backstage being her mentor.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="uXCNYl3.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uXCNYl3.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

The new girl on the block gets her first QAW title, the ever passed around Shockwave title. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

So pairing Cousin Viv and Foxxy LaRue isn't one of my proudest moments, I feel like I'm devolving into very stereotypical like for like booking here, but actually it's bit more layered than that. Cousin Viv despite being a very young rookie is actually a top tier brawler, and Foxxy needs more points into her brawling stat, plus there was no one else available that made sense to team with Foxxy, and because of the nature of the person she's feuding with she needed a tag partner as I'm not ready to separate Featured Attraction booking wise.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, remember how creative had nothing for Jarvis? Apparently she has tag chemistry with Joanne Rodriguez, who by the way turned heel already(shortly after I realized Alicia Strong was available). So I decided to reform <strong>Ronin 3</strong> without the awful manager, and instead with another elite worker with Juana filling out as a solid hand, Juana has gotten quite good in the ring at minimum, so she wont be dead weight with the more dynamic duo.</p><p> </p><p>

Ogiwara is now more involved in wrestling, because Alicia Strong is there so she's been tagging with her protegee to decent success.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="Lu0KXHs.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Lu0KXHs.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The Anti-Establishment are yet another off and on tag team, but they are back together now after a brief tiff and feuding with Sweet and Sour.</p><p> </p><p>

I'll give 10 dollars to anyone who can figure out who <strong>Flower Power</strong> is.</p><p>

Just kidding I don't like giving away free money, It's obviously Debbie Rose and Kate Lilly.</p><p> </p><p>

Alicia "Looks: Strong saves her mentor from a beatdown from the now extremely prominently featured Ronin 3. While Featured Attraction finish up their feud with Foxxy and Viv in separate singles matches. At this point I'm hitting As with almost all of my big main event angles, and getting close to that also with my big main event matches as well, with J-Ro and Strong being one of the best matches in company history to date.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="wh6XCQs.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wh6XCQs.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

The extra point may have been from Crowning the Queen, but this is the most overness gained in one month in company history. At this point we are getting bonuses for truly exceptional shows, and are probably in contention for Company of the Year despite not even hitting Cult yet. Go figure.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="WGCrzbk.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WGCrzbk.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Of course, unfortunately we made very little ground financial, making even less than last month. This was mostly because we have yet to change buildings, being stuck in Irvine Hall caps out your ability to make money, and I need enough overness to either get consistently above 6000 in a generic venue or move to the Friedman building like Crowning the Queen did.</p><p> </p><p>

On the Brightside, we are officially millionaires! Who would've thought it?</p>

<p><span style="font-size:24px;">August</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Signings : None!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Releases: April Appleseed </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Yes, we are basically in full gear here, with zero signings in the month of August, nearly on full auto-pilot. April Appleseed was released purely because she retired and had no active roles, she also developed a Strong Dislike for me despite being released for not being a wrestler anymore. Oh well, I'd never hire her back anyway.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="ttHKOEH.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ttHKOEH.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Out of Irvine Hall and into a generic venue for more of that sweet coin. I also managed to run my brawl angle at the wrong position, but when you crank out about a dozen shows a session these things tend to happen.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="LnnNK8X.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LnnNK8X.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Something I've actually spent the time to test is the effect on company momentum and event prestige on expected attendance vs actual attendance. <strong>At this point we are getting about 2000 more fans than expected, allowing us to get slightly more play out of The Friedman Building than a generic venue, later on this will be even more dramatic, with huge 5000+ fan disparities, essentially the difference between venues and passive difference in pay per show. Maximizing this is important, as it saves us a lot of time on this run.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Also note, April Appleseed is doing pretty well here, her abrupt retirement was actually a bit of a downer as she was over enough and skilled enough to have good matches with the big stars.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The new Queen feuds with the new upgraded Ronin 3 and looks Strong while doing it. Ha, get it, its a pun.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="vbTNY2Q.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vbTNY2Q.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Amazing show here, Alicia Strong vs Joanne Rodriguez the two destined rivals, produced the best match in company history to this point by some decimal fraction, as it stands at the top of the top 100 company matches list over similarly rated matches. </p><p> </p><p>

Also I gave the mostly unskilled Lora Washington a fun Queen of Strip matches gimmick to give her something to do, she basically wins a bunch o Bra and Panties matches against the more attractive babyfaces on the roster until someone eventually as part of the storyline gives her, her comeuppance and beats her at her own game. Just a fun little booking minigame to keep myself busy.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="mf1J1ww.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mf1J1ww.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The GOAT and her prodigy and future and current GOAT take the Tag Titles off the Bruisers in a fairly spectacular match. Old woman Ogiwara still has it after all, even though people thought she was done when she retired years ago.</p><p> </p><p>

Ronins try to crash the celebration but are parried away and forced out of the ring by the NEW champions.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="iyxBgYU.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/iyxBgYU.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Last show of the month, you may notice that Alexis Lee Littlefeather is booked quite oddly here. The reason for this, quite humorously is I had just discovered her alternate picture and used it and because I thought it looked much more savage than her original I decided to morph her character into a more violent type that eventually turned heel but I quickly abandoned it. </p><p> </p><p>

She was put into a feud with Foxxy LaRue briefly however, as the Tag Scene dominates the main event scene currently.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="IcJ6i8m.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IcJ6i8m.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="jVGAEmb.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jVGAEmb.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

We're pretty popular now, popular enough to sell out a 10k seater on a good day. Also we are making over 500k a month which is stellar, although we need to figure out who the hell is embezzling the company for 300k dollars in 'miscellaneous expenses" whatever that means.</p>

<p>Wow, that progress! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Is there an actual known reason for the miscellaneous expense increase? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
