eayragt
Extreme Rules 2009. Face CM Punk had been trying to cash in Money in the Bank on Champion Edge, but kept getting foiled by Umaga. He defeats Umaga in a strap match, that was... really not good by the night's standards.

Edge vs Jeff Hardy, on the other hand, was a fantastic ladder match. The roar when Jeff Hardy won, finally winning the belt was a real moment - the support this man had gained made it a fan favourite moment. A fitting end to the night's wrestling.

But that was not the end of the night. CM Punk's music hit, and the fans were shocked - why would a face Punk come out? But he was no longer a face, and a cash in and two GTS's later and Jeff Hardy was no longer champion. His moment had been stolen from him. The emotional rollercoaster of wrestling went up and down in just a few minutes, igniting a fantastic feud between the two men.

That moment meant so much due to the lead up, and the path it set upon, it just beats out Eddie / Benoit for me.

To keep the thread interesting lets just say you have to post what your favourite wrestling moment of all time is. The only restriction I'm going to place is that accounts must be at least 2 weeks old and should have a minimum of, lets say, 10 posts. Just to make sure people don't enter with a bunch of alts. I'll announce the winner the day the game comes out. Good luck!

My first post after years just lurking and it's to enter your giveaway. BDC212
Man there's so many... Mine would be watching the match that got me started on wrestling, my favorite match of all time. Bret Hart vs Mr. Perfect at Summerslam 1991. That one takes the cake. Plus, I enjoy a lot of Daniel Bryan's run during the height of the yes movement from 13-14 or so. Damn shame he got hurt. markish
HHH vs Cactus Jack Street Fight MSG I remember em and my friends being SO hyped for this match and it absolutely living up to the hype!

BDC212
Sports Entertainment Xtreme was my favorite group of the 00’s When I used to watch TNA, that was my most enjoyable period. I watched from 2002-2008 or so.
JoshGallie
My favorite wrestling moment of all time is Daniel Bryan winning the WM30 main event. A truly momentous and emotional moment, and it impacted the industry until this very day.
Vayman
My favorite is easily the day I attended WrestleMania IV live and my all-time favorite wrestler - Randy Savage wrestled four times and won the WWF title!

djthefunkchris
@ Boneyard, it was very loud, it kept building louder each time the match seemed about to end. Talk about working the crowd into a frenzy, lol. My favorite moment is the CM Punk pipebomb. My favorite wrestling moment was Rey Mysterio coming in the Royal Rumble coming in at number two, and going the whole way to win it (60 minutes+). I was really into that match, even with the whole storyline being so cringy.

Black Dog
Sexy Kurt is definitely up there but I'll go with the night ECW entered the Invasion. That main event where the ex-ECW stars turned on their WWF teammates to form the Alliance.
TheCed
Thank you for doing this. My moment would be the time Jeff Hardy won the WWE Championship against Triple H. I wanted to see him win it so bad and was so happy when it happened. I got so many other great moments but this one's one that brought me a lot of emotion. tryker2710
TNA Lockdown 2007 when they teased a turn between with Jarrett using the guitar on Sting but then used it to hit one of the heels for the win. (I haven't watched that march in easily 10 years but that image has always stuck with me for whatever reason)
JMPunk
The time that a army of fake Sting's flooded the ring when the nWo in it, only for the real Sting to finally appear and take out the nWo. You had DDP and Piper, a conversational finish to a title match. It was one of the rare times that complete chaos was cash, and often Nitro ended with moments like these and it kept you tuning in every week. TEW - MCM
The Authority vs The Rhodes Dynasty All of this revolves mainly around the Randy Orton vs Goldust bout where Cody's job was on the line. The many aspects of this storyline all jumbled together w/ the SHIELD's involvement. The "YES! Movement" wave at the point it were and the WWE Rhode's story really got me good. That was a damn good match. That whole run Goldust had teaming with Cody, is some classic stuff. The match they had against the Shield with Dusty in the corner (I think it was Battlegrounds of that year) was such a great story.
BDC212
Just to add on to mine, I gotta mention Kofimania, culminating with Kofi winning the title at WM. They applied the same formula with Daniel Bryan to Kofi and it worked like a charm. Such a deserving moment for a deserving worker.
neslo024
When Hogan was revealed as the third man was so great. The pure hate he got. People felt legitimately betrayed. Then just all the heat the nWo generated was amazing. They would just eat full cups of beer and keep cutting the promo. Imagine being hated so much people were willing to throw full cups of beer they just overpaid for at you.

Colts/Texans(it was a bloody preseason game too) was my favorite.
