<p>I appreciate all the predictions and comments. It’s always interesting to see where people’s heads were at going into a show. With hindsight being 20/20, I wish I would have put the title on Ali in November— but I was hesitant because he had only had one match for me and i didn’t want Conner to drop two straight singles matches. </p><p> </p><p>

I have booked the next couple shows and I think we are headed in an interesting direction. There will be some roster changes coming. </p><p> </p><p>

The Rock City Stars are gone — but that’s mostly because Ryan is off to tour with his band so i felt like I could let them both go and bring them back later without taking a morale hit from Stan. Hardcore Inheritance are both gone because they signed with PSW who has a Tv show on WrestleWorld and I foresee their popularity driving their price to a range i am unwilling to pay. </p><p> </p><p>

Foxxy getting hurt really made me scrap my women’s plans and right now it feels like the division is treading water — but hopefully that changes in the next few shows.</p>

Losing Foxxy was a major blow as I’m sure she’d be the face of women’s division. That said I’m sure you will find the future who can take up the mantle and give the DDT Mistress a real test.

I thought Ali was getting the win back at the Thanksgiving show but getting it here should spark so new challenges at the top of the card.

Looking forward to see where you take it in 2021.

Have to think The Player's Club will eventually get the straps. Figure American Gold will get a few defenses in because it happens.

Good decision to get Threepwood to drop the main title here -- he has unfinished business with Acid, and maybe a series or two with former partner Crockett Tubbs. There's always Acid II for him to face off against as well.

With the Rock City Stars out and Acid a heel, will be interesting to see who ends up challenging Sayeed Ali. There don't seem to be many faces on the roster with momentum -- Nate Demarcus maybe?

Faysal Ali Newman, professionally known as Sayeed Ali, sat in the cold metal folding chair. His durag was off his bald head and the beads of sweat that it kept contained were freely falling from his face. The locker room was a bundle of energy right now. Guys were packing up their bags to head out and Sayeed was just now undoing the tape at his wrist that went up his hands. Tonight had been a good night. He had come to Indianapolis over the summer because Marvin Earnest had a spot for a top heel. He had needed a main event heel to work with Conner and help establish the company. Marv had remembered Sayeed from the time he had come to MAW to work the Invitational. He was happy to come in. He wasn't happy in Pittsburgh -- he didn't much care for Mitch Naess and shortly after he and Marv agreed to terms, Sayeed left Naess.

He let the tape drop to his feet and started working on the other hand. He was hungry. He wanted a salad and an ice cold water. Sayeed Ali was a crazy, blood-thirsty thug from the streets of New York who talked wild and crazy and was a good-ole-boy's nightmare. Faysal Ali Newman wasn't, though. He was quiet and mild-mannered. He was a devout Muslim and a pescetarian. He didn't drink, smoke or do any sort of drugs. He had a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and fluently spoke English, Farsi, Arabic, and Swahili. His paternal grandparents had immigrated to the United States from Tanzania. His maternal side of the family had been in the United States for much longer. Neither of his parents had been pleased with his decision to go into pro wrestling. It wasn't a respectable business for him to be associated with. His portrayal of Sayeed Ali was something that they had been against and it had been years since they had spoken. He regretted that. He missed speaking to his father and his mother. He still talked to his sister though.

He shook his head and popped his jaw. Tonight, he had won the COTT Mid American Championship. It was the third company who had seen fit to put their top title on him. The third company to see him as a top guy. He was proud of the career he had had so far. He had managed to wrestle full time. He had managed to turn it into how he paid his bills and he was good at it. Very good at it. Tonight was another step in proving that.

He let the second hand's tape drop to the floor and he rolled his head around, letting his neck crack several satisfying times.

"You coming with us?"

YtDH66g.jpg

The big cowboy from Texas was standing a few feet in front of Ali. He hadn't even noticed him.

"Coming where?" Ali asked.

"Me and Zip and the Blonds were going to head over to the Waffle House to get something to eat. You want to come?"

Ali thought about the sight that would be. Big six-foot-six inch Samson Sharpe with his big blonde mustache and that motor-mouth Zippy Deverell and Philippe with his thick French-Canadian accent and Ozzie, who was refined and Flash who was quiet and easy to miss. That was quite the fivesome. Ali nodded. "Sure. I'll come. Let me go rinse off."

Sharpe nodded. "I'll tell the rest of the gang." His Texas-drawl was pronounced and Ali couldn't help but smile. Tonight was a great night. He was ready to take Championship Wrestling from Indianapolis to a whole new level.

The Confederation of the Territories has crowned a new World Heavyweight Champion. Mario de Silva, on his last night in the COTT, lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Scout. Mario de Silva is headed to Total Championship Wrestling as their newest signing. Scout, the former TCW Tag Team Champion, is currently working for CZCW, FCW, and L-Ring and is said to be the new standard-bearer for the COTT.

Championship Wrestling from Indianapolis was in Bloomington, Indiana for a fundraiser for the Monroe County Fire Department. The show was very well received.

The opening contest saw Pepper Pelton defeat Sione Tokoeka by submission with the Spice Rack -- a move that is fastly proving to be almost inescapable.

The second contest of the night saw the debut of Mr. Grappling -- a masked grappler from the Indianapolis area, defeat The Masked Mauler VII with a DDT.

The semi-main event saw War Maidens, represented by Black Diamond, Talia Neema, and Urena Frost team up to defeat Joy Ryder and the San Diego Girls. Urena Frost was said to be the stand out performer not just of the match, but of the whole show.

In the main event, Zippy Deverell successfully defended the Indiana Heavyweight Championship against Jason Patterson. This was Deverell's fifth successful defence of the championship that he won in July at the first God, America and Pro Wrestling Event.

Technically for most places he's still working as Doc Hammond, but I would think on the Indy scene he would have his most notoriety as Scout so that's what I'm going to head out.</p><p> </p><p> and I forget you're across the pond -- Waffle House is this wonderful short-order restaurant that serves waffles, yes, but it also serves a wide variety of food. I think they're actually most known for their hashbrowns (which, the correct way to get them is smothered, covered, chunked, diced, peppered, capped, and topped (though I will accept country instead of topped). This is not up for debate, either! It is an absolute dream of a place. Just expect any meat to be well-done regardless of how you order it.</p>

Championship Wrestling from Indianapolis was back in action for a live event -- this time in Shelbyville, Indiana for the Shelbyville Middle School. The show was well-received for those in attendance and all of the proceeds went to the middle school to help buy new band uniforms.

The opening match saw the in-ring debut of Danny DeColt as he beat newcomer and cousin to Roger Monteiro -- Walter Blackhawk -- in his own debut match. Blackhawk is a member of the Arapaho Tribe and grew up on the Wind River Reservation.

That was followed up by "California Cool" Charlie Corner defeating "The Oklahoma Thunderbolt" Jason Patterson with the Corner Cutter.

Pepper Pelton continued his impressive run, this time by making The Masked Mauler VII submit in the Spice Rack.

The semi main event saw the San Diego Girls pick up a victory over Yvonne Ericks and Joy Ryder in a fast paced tag team match.

The main event saw CWI newcomer, Mr. Grappling, pick up a huge win over Acid when he rolled Acid up following a missed springboard moonsault. The crowd was said to be especially hot for this match and Mr. Grappling definitely won some new fans.

In addition to the live event, Championship Wrestling from Indianapolis returns to prime time action with the second annual Hoosier Hysteria. This show is a special show as it will feature the first-ever defense of the Confederation of the Territories World Heavyweight Championship when current champion "The Scout" Doc Hammond comes to CWI to defend against newly minted Mid American Champion Sayeed Ali.

That's not the only big match on the show, though. The Confederation of the Territories have announced a brand new championship, the World Six-Man Championships and the first champions will be decided at Hoosier Hysteria when American Ambition takes on the Canadian Blonds. These two trios have built quite a rivalry -- and last month American Gold took the CWI Tag Team Titles from the Blonds and now all six of them will tangle for World titles.

"The Mistress of the DDT" Steph Blake looks to continue her unstoppable run as the shot-caller in the Women's division as she puts the title on the line against Izzy Quick -- who beat Talia Neema in December.

Zippy Deverell puts the Indiana Heavyweight Championship on the line against "American Eagle" Roger Monteiro and so much more. You do not want to miss this show!

Before I predict, may I ask, is the COTT world title or the Indiana World Title more important?

DRAW! Sayeed Ali declared WAR on COTT. A draw as a way to "screw" him, in his mind, of the World Title? Him going on a undefeated streak and keeping the Mid-America Title? Then, Nate winning the World Title? Or Connor? That is a money printing feud. And it starts with a draw

Nate beat 2 of the 3 Blonds in singles, they lost the CWI Tag Titles to American Gold. So heels take this one. And with an interference in the Monteiro match , bam! you have a feud.

Your champion has a cool nickname, a feared finisher and a slow burn feud with a certain miss Luck. So yeah, Slinsghot DDT for the win. By the way, is this DDT a Randy Orton hanging one or the slingshot DDT Gargano uses? I am getting Randy vibes. And that is not slingshot, that is hanging DDT.

A blue collar heel. Coming from a miner's family. Now that is an original gimmick. While Monteiro was hot recently, there is mileage in a feud with the Blonds. So maybe an interference here?
