====================

* ECCW are set as closed due to lack of info for members of their roster.

* NWA Florida Tag Team title lineages not done

* NWA Georgia Tag Team title lineages not done

* Scott Steiner picture. I know he still had dark hair and a dark goatee in January 1998 but if you can find a good picture of him with that look I will change his picture (this is why he has the bleached look he was sporting in February 1998).

* Need a younger picture for Anthony Kingdom James

* I forgot to finish APW... they will be done for next time.

Should probably have Age is Just a Number for Glenn Jacobs as well. He performed full time longer than both Undertaker and Triple H.

Not sure about the 98 mod, but in the 92 mod ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC are set as Cable Commercial broadcasters when they should be Terrestrial Commercial

FOX is strangely set up to have huge coverage in Canada, but Big in US. It's a US based network so should have more coverage in the States than Canada.

Also, Paramount Network is showing opening March 83, which is accurate, but at the time it was The Nashville Network. It didn't become Paramount Network until 2018. Nashville Network is also in the data.

Syfy should be the Sci-Fi Channel with a change to Sci-Fi in 99 and a change to SyFy in 2009.

Ongoing storylines:

WWF

- Between a Rock & A Stone Cold Place (this story includes The Nation and Cactus Jack as support)

- The Sibling Rivalry of Destruction

- D-Generation X - Same old s@!#

- Property of a Jealous Marc Mero

- Gang Warz... the end. (DOA & Los Boricuas)

WCW

- Goldbergs Streak

- Hall and The Living Legend

- Hart vs. Flair - Who is really the best?

- nWo Dissension - The War with WCW continues!

ECW

- A Franchise, A Suplex Machine & A Beast

- Best of Enemies - Tag Team Title Storm

- Incredible? Whipwreck thinks Otherwise

- Beer Drinking, Cane Swinging, Death Defying Story

- The Dudleys vs. The Gangstanators

- The FBI (no not that one) versus The Freaks

In Goldbergs Streak story, I had to put a second person so I put Tony Schiavone as he calls the matches (not really sure what else to do - suggestions that don't involve putting him in the nWo vs. WCW story welcome).

Honestly, might be the best solution. IRL he just beats Brad Armstrong at Superbrawl and then beats Raven for the US Title on Nitro the next night, so even his title win isn't really the result of a storyline.

Actually, speaking of which, you should probably add Benoit vs. The Flock to the storylines. That story won't end until Souled Out when Benoit finally beats Raven.

Please, keep doing these, is kind of fun adding attributes to the wrestlers, you feel you're giving them more personality as more attributes you put them.

Also, Hulk Hogan should have the Egomaniac attribute.

I've got about 130 workers left to edit that I've found things wrong with. I will then go through the thread again and pick up anything I missed. It might not be out on 16th but will be that weekend. There was a lot more wrong than anticipated.

Not sure if it's by design, but WCW as a medium size promotion in 1998 seems awfully small?

Also, I don't think Turner should be used at all. Eric Bischoff should be owner(CEO) with Kevin Sullivan as booker.

The CEO designation was put in the game to reflect WCW in particular

With popularity, what would you suggest I give them in each country/continent? I thought I'd given them pretty good popularity but willing to listen to any suggested changes. Same if anyone thinks any of the companies need boosting.

At what point would you say wrestling was at it's most popular?

To me, if this is the time period when it was at it's most popular (98-99), and WCW is on top, then WCW should be in the high 80's or low 90's for popularity in the US. Then in a year or so, WWF would be in the mid to high 90's.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I always view it on a scale of 100 is perfection.

If you argue there's no better technical wrestler of all time than say Bret Hart, then at his peak in a date he should be in the high 90's.

No better guy on the microphone than a Paul Heyman, high 90's for microphone.

In this case, one of the most popular wrestling promotions of all time, in a time when wrestling is at it's most popular... WCW should be around 88ish in popularity in the US.

Just my take.

I'd say mid to high 80s personally in the US. This was in the midst of WCW at the top of the industry

Hi Fleisch, keep up the great work, I’m really looking forward to playing this mod as it’ll be the closest one to the time period I most associate with (mid to late 98 to 2001).

For the popularity size thing, I’d be a bit cautious about pumping up the WWF and WCW unnecessarily. IMO they both should be about Large at this point in time, neither truly gets to Titanic during this period, and the WWE probably doesn’t hit that point until mid to late 2000s when they have three brands, the WWE Network and then eventually their own child company with its own show (NXT).

I get what people are saying here about high 80s and low 90s, but to me that’s too high. Some of the most over workers (your Hogans and Austins) should be up around that level, but not the companies themselves. Otherwise you’ll end up with a company way too popular in comparison to its workers, and that just shouldn’t be a thing.

Just my take on it after playing this game for more than a decade, I’m sure others will disagree.

Question

What User Characters would people like in the game? I've added Tyson as a user character but beyond that, I've no idea who to add really. I was going to use a similar style that the C-Verse has with "Avatars" I created in DAZ3d but really unsure.

Does anyone have a blank picture template they would be willing to share for making pictures?

I just use this:

Amazing Heel (I know he has been a babyface but is really an all out heel so maybe 100%?)

Shoots From The Lip (I mean, it's basically his gimmick.)

Then add the negative relationships with The Kliq and Ric Flair which are well documented.

James Maritato
