It's that time of the week again! (a day late though)

From my Daz Studio and probably into your Free Pics folder, here are some renders I've done this past week!

NOTE: You do not have to ask permission to use a majority of my renders in diaries or modwork, nor do you have to credit me. I would appreciate it though!

I like the red-black one, but the hair is shiny. Unless it was somehow intentional (like going for the 'wet' look), I'd recommend changing the surface to perhaps "matte", or decreasing the glossiness of it if you're using iRay (it looks like it :p).

I like this type of surface for the gear, as you're basically making it look like latex.

I think it may have been set to look like plastic, which it kinda does. The following is intended to be constructive criticism and is just an opinion, nothing more.

r1w9ti7.jpg

A lot of personality here, the hair over one eye generating an aura of quiet confidence

5/5

The only tweak I'd make is to make the lighting/saturation on her hair just a bit warmer, like so:

1041%20-%20Artist%3ACreeperGav.jpg

fRfO056.jpg

Not really into this one, the pose to me is all that well suited for the camera position, with the chin tucked in and all. Her skin also seems too textureless/too much of one tone. Her hair is good but not great; it doesn't fall as naturally as the next number of renders do.

3/5

HiUrgUE.jpg

The thing about this one is I think it's really good, the one thing bothering about it is the amount of shine in her hair, which is so intense in some area it goes from blonde to sheer white. I don't know if that's caused by intense lighting or not. If it was possible to tone that down a little so that effect isn't as powerful, I think that would improve this one an inch.

4.5/5

rrha7sJ.jpg

No complaints about this one, reminds me Victoria in her old WWE "All the things she said" titantron, where the background is purple and they tint Victoria's skin green. Hair looks realistically soft and falls into place well.

5/5

ts126RA.jpg

Another really good one. Very realistic, believable render. The hair looks especially good in this one, each strand really standing out and falling in a plausible way.

5/5

pG3KVi2.jpg

Always good to experiment with different poses as I know straight ahead headshots over and over can get boring. That said I think one isn't as strong because the new angle means we can't see much of her face.

4/5

itDTHr0.jpg

This, for me, is the best of the lot. For the full render, I'll be honest, I didn't think the hair looked right, to me it appeared as if her hair was covered in a goo like substance. However, here for this headshot there isn't that problem, it just appears slightly wet. Good facial expression, skin texture looks good, nice shadows. Really good angle, the photo really fills out the space without needing to be so zoomed in we're up the characters' nose. Firing on all cyliders here.

6/5

3Ul0Gwe.jpg

These two renders I have a bone to pick with. When creating headshots, the main component is the head/face. What works for a full render sometimes doesn't work for a headshot and vice versa. So you have to tweak for each.

In this case, and this is a common issue for people making headshots, is that in this case it feels like his head slightly is too small in comparison to his body. Not insane so, but just enough to be "off".

I would imagine the solution here is either making his head larger to compensate or to get a closer shot.

3.5/5

mP8MS3E.jpg

As before, head comes off as slightly small. One other thing here is he feels a bit pale/unsaturated.

3.5/5

ad1EtQ7.jpg

Very good render, very realistic. 70s vibes. The only I might have thrown in is maybe some kind of blemish such as maybe a freckle, because his skin seems very smooth despite the aura of the character looking like an older, rougher type of person.

5/5

l5sNlJ1.jpg

The hair here doesn't work as well as it does for the other character with the same cut. On the other character, it flops down in a realistic-feeling way. It might just be the angle but here it doesn't look quite right. The skin tone of the character also feels off to me for whatever reason.

3/5

So here we go. Way back in April of last year I posted a link to the default TEW 2016 picture folder that I had put together on the eve of the release of TEW 2020. Well now I've finally finished updating that for TEW 2020. This is my attempt to go through and completely update the default worker picture folder for TEW 2020. I will probably continue working on this and may eventually update the photos for the generated workers but for now it just covers the active workers in the database.

I would like to thank all the renderers for this game that gave me so much to work with to put this together, the work you guys do is really amazing. I have used stuff from just about everyone who has ever contributed to these threads. Some workers have a number of great renders available so it was hard to choose just one but in many cases I may have used another for a worker who it fit for that wasn't well represented in the render department. I tried my best to go through all the bios and make sure the photos matched up as best as possible to the workers.

I've included text files in an attempt to credit every artist used for these, please let me know if you find any that are incorrectly credited. I'd also appreciate if anyone notices a picture used more than once let me know and I'll correct it.

I have also added a folder that includes over 600 of my own alts, mostly created to help fill in gaps from the default worker picture folder.

The default worker folder is in the file marked People and just my alts are the Ironfist Alts file. Not all of the alts are in the final folder as many of them were replaced when better renders came along.

Here is the link to the folders:

Here are some examples of Alts I've created using some of the more recent renders in this thread.

Yes, thank you. I've definitely missed a couple of gems there. I think some people have shared theirs in the past before, but yours is... quite complete. :p

Very consistent too in style. Only thing I noticed that might be off is Erin Gray, whose render is the same as Alicia Strong's.

first off, awesome work ironfist. i imagine that mustve been a pretty arduous process. i just wanted to mention that your Bullet Babu Menon, Gazz Vedmore, and Drew Danson were all actually rendered by Undertaker666, and your Yozo Ishigami was rendered by Debosco.

also great work shipshirt. again.

Thanks CoolDude, I'll get them updated and swap out that Erin Grey's render Blackman. Plus I think I realized another credit mistake myself that I need to check.

Those changes have been made, well I just added the new Erin Grey by herself to not update the entire folder but the credits are all updated.

Apologies to BestfortheBusiness. I had a bunch of your Japanese workers accidentally credited to Parker Stiles due to mixing them up from downloading them at the same time but that should be fixed now.

Have been playing a RIPW game recently so decided to re-render some more of the key workers. Worth noting I really like some of the renders I already had for many of these workers but as with other re-renders this was more about me gradually re-rendering everyone I come across rather than for any other reason.
