Historian
The Spanish UEW is still going strong and looks to be gaining some ground towards expansion. Talk about them!
vladjarca
They seem to be the worst doing European comany, but make a fun challange. With the actual stars not being really great and no prospect looking to steal the spotlight, I hope Joey Beauchamp has one more title run in him, he should since the company only runs 1 show per month. Since Stig & Tim Reed are some of the best talkers on the roster, I've made Stig Armand Hardwicke's manager and Tim Don Henderson's manager. I've got hopes of turning Armand Hardwicke and Gordon Leve into stars and Konrad into a major star. The tag division seems pretty lackluster. Objectionne
I've been playing a game with UEW and I've just reached Small size in August 2020. Here are some things I've found: - There are plenty of good options to sign. Have a look at unemployed workers at the start of the game because there are some people with potential there (I won't name any specific workers who have worked for me so as not to 'spoil' it). Keep an eye on the news feed to see when workers are expected to not renew their contract with other companies - add them to your shortlist when you see the news and then you'll get a notification once they're free. My 'Silver Tongue' skill is set to 7 and 9 times out of 10 if I ask a worker to make themselves available in Europe while they're unemployed then they agree and you would be surprised at who's willing to come and work for a crummy fed like UEW. Usually when looking for workers I look for good stats in Basics, Psychology, Stamina, and Technical (because you need at least one Technical Mastercall on each show) but of course the more good stats the better. - They have some good workers who start with good momentum and so can grow in popularity quite quickly if you put them in good main event matches. Konrad Makinen, my current UEW World champion, has grown from 28 popularity in January to 54 in September. Marcello Ricci - 27 to 55. Menace - 30 to 52. Kalu Owusu - 30 to 52. There's plenty of potential in the workers that are already in the company so use them well! - The Respectful Wrestling product of the company demands long matches but not everybody on the roster has the stamina to handle it, especially since you need at least one Steal the Show match every show as well. Along with multi-man matches, you can also make good use of the 'Slow Build' instruction to help manage this as many of the stars in the company have decent to good psychology. - It's fairly easy to make money. From the very start of the game I was making more than $2k profit per show and that's now risen to about $5k as we've gotten more popular. Set ticket prices to 'cheap' - I've been making more money with these prices as the attendance increases a lot and this also helps to increase your popularity more. You could go for 'very cheap' also if you really want to grow quickly, but I've found that the attendance increase for this doesn't offset the reduced prices and you end up not making as much (but still turning a profit). - Once you reach Small size, it's difficult/very expensive to maintain the right production values. I've upgraded Production Values, Live Event Experience and Broadcast Quality to the right levels but now I think I'll barely make any profit/take a small loss with each show. This is ok for me for now as I have a good stockpile of cash and can afford to not make much money while I continue to grow but it feels a bit risky. Music I have no hope of upgrading yet because the $10k a month fee will kill me. Will post more if I discover more as the company continues to grow!
