Amazing episode, and I'm glad the curse is finally getting some focus. It is so weird how many 4-time Champs there have been!! Loved the Stag doo (Buck Night), and really, really loved how all the stories continued. Loxley and the pirate could be amazing!! Thank you, yeah I don't know what it is about it but I think she might bring more out of Loxley, there's a few ways it might still go but either way should make Loxley a more interesting character. I do sort of like Joe, but I'm definitely not doing great by him, he's lost I think every match, although when I think about it he is still being featured. To have a mini storyline and matches in 'The Main Event Hour' is a pretty decent spot even if it's not actually going well for him. Definitely interested to hear any thoughts on the Wedding Episode. Parts of it were decided and written right at the beginning of the diary so it's one I've personally looked forward to posting for quite a while! P.S Thanks to anyone who nominated/voted for this in DOTM. I'm confident this diary has some legs to it, so it's definitely fitting that it's got me my first win, hopefully I can keep improving it though, there's definitely some big changes coming soon anyway. Everything about that event was so good, but the turn by Will is amazing. Gladiator vs Echo It should be Echo, but he is steadily moving down the card while Glad is a new man, with a new woman. Nathan McKenzie vs Blake Belushi Probably by DQ after Heartbreak gets involved in the match. This is a nice little feud for McKenzie to move onto and it is nice to see him stick up for the Cluesome Twosome. What will the status of the RAW TV Title be at the end of the show? a) Rahmel Goode will still be the champion b) There will be a new champion c) The title will be vacant It could start vacated but with the bad blood between Swoop & Captain it would be nice to see them get a title reign out of this. Because that's naturally what I went with Really happy to get some good feedback for the wedding and the song. In my mind the song has become a mini viral success, at least in Australia, so it's fitting for it to get a reaction. I've always tended to * out any swearing, but I'm thinking RAW is on late night on a channel that's targeting young males. It just didn't seem right. So I didn't want to suddenly start swearing for the sake of it and having super risque angles, but I definitely intend on slowly making it just a little more edgy. I don't know what the forum rules are, tbh I've got a feeling on these actual messages we aren't supposed to swear? But hey I'm linking to somewhere else and even had a warning so... surely it's fine. Ahh the prestigious Television title, decided in a paintball fight. Im so excited. As someone who tends to play as performance heavy promotions, something like this does feel odd to me, in general the quest title (at least whilst Lynx holds it) is where you'll get most the wacky stuff, and the TV title is supposed to be a bit more traditional, it's hard to comment more on my reasoning without spoilers but in general things like this will be rare for the top title. All I'll say is... I like the idea that RAW allows me turn some wrestling logic on it's head. Like you say he'd just won the title, was the leader of a big stable which were doing well, but could perhaps do with a dominant championship reign, all signs point to him keeping the title. So the reign ending like this is hopefully much more shocking. I definitely want to cultivate the feeling that anything can happen. That said, I'd like to think I'm not just making decisions for the sole reason of being shocking, I think the storyline both for the TV Title, and Rahmel going forward would be more interesting than the title reign he's been robbed of. So yeah he's alive, but whether you'll see him wrestle again is perhaps a different story. However I do have an instance of the game throwing me a curve ball that I can share. In his match with Brodie Lachlan that has just been posted, he suffered a major concussion and is out for 13 months. I'm not paying him to sit around when he was already very much on the chopping line. So George LiberTeen is not just fired from the band, but in fact from RAW. Because that's naturally what I went with Forgot to answer to this before, Backstreet Boys are definitely an inspiration to LiberTeen but in my mind Will is a bit cooler. It's weird in my mind I know the beat and a little melody for Motherlover but I'm bad at describing it. Maybe one day if I have too much time I'll use some online keyboard to record it. Goode is 41, now when you consider my second older wrestler is 36 (a few people) it shows that his age does stand out. That said he isn't in decline, on the contrary his stats have actually improved over the past few months. So if he ever makes it back to in ring competition, he's got the ability and the story to go after the title. He would though have a long list of younger stars to compete with. And I agree about plans being forced to change, granted if it was a more important plan with someone I love I may be less positive! But in general it's great to be reminded that no matter what plans I have for the diary, it's all rooted in game and that can change everything. Yeah it's been a little too rare that the focus has truly been on the TV title, so it's nice to change that. That is Big Mac's first loss. The game says RAW have pushed him hard since he signed in late 2018, so I've always said that he's never been pinned clean. My thinking being if he had literally beaten everyone for over a year, you'd think he'd be close to the title contention when you start the game. So I've gone with the story that he's been hugely dominant but has been screwed over a few times. So I suppose you could say this was his first proper loss, obviously there was a mini-distraction but still, it's definitely an important moment for him. Luke Steele is 100% the easiest person to write for. It's never clever, or anything particularly special, but it's also never hard to think of what he would say in any situation! He's also been gaining a lot of popularity in game to say I've not really put any effort into that, so he's fast become one of my favourites. And definitely, a lot of diaries, like your own and Lloyd's make good use of dirtsheet style posts every so often. I've been working on changing all the worker images. It's been quite the undertaking but I'm currently through 90% of the roster. I just want to explain my thinking throughout it all, I had 3 guiding rules in an order of importance when I was making them. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>1)</strong> Most importantly they <strong>had to reflect in game stats</strong>. I've worked out a height and weight for all members of the roster and these new looks will hopefully reflect these well. Especially whether a character is flabby/toned/muscular/ripped should translate to the new look. Ideally I want the reader to know who is in the best shape, who is the most menacing etc without me having to actually state it. This also works because if somebody transforms in game, this allows me to change it in the actual diary too, so I love the flexibility. Another way in game has affected me is star quality and sex appeal it's been hard to try and translate that into the new looks, but I've tried. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>2)</strong> <strong>What the default c-verse renders look like</strong>. For example nothing in the actual game text says Frogue has an afro... or Will Beaumont has blonde hair... But I obviously wanted to reflect the default renders so that hopefully you all know who these pictures below are, or at least you'd be able to pick 80% or so out on the roster. But this hasn't been the most important factor as I've always put the actual game data as the top priority. An example off the top of my head is Kal Wayne in the render I've been using looks like a pretty huge dude. Whereas he's only a middleweight in game (albeit muscular). Most the renders did a great job in portraying how the game describes the worker, but in any instances where I thought something was off, I always picked to go with the game data.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>3) </strong><strong>How I see them/have been portraying them</strong>.
