christmas_ape Posted July 5, 2020 Author Share Posted July 5, 2020 SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 20! Now this will work as a sort of low key season finale. The swap to the new renders goes ahead now. But the story is that the paintball game has destroyed the ASN Studios and it's going to take them some time to clean it and get it ready go back live. So the next episode is just going to be a recap episode of what has happened so far (doing this more for new readers), then there will be an episode with all the new renders being revealed in a sort of roster rundown. In game these weeks of Attitude! have been glorified house shows ran from alternative locations. Then things will get back to normal with the new pictures and some other changes. I'll probably try get these episodes out quick though then settle down once I'm back to normal shows. 'Hot' Rod does it, everyone's clear choice for champion. For anyone who doesn't isn't on board with Rod needs to blame The Lloyd for picking him to win a title! Well I obviously want to see all your new renders!! You're not getting all just yet, but here are a second 5 featuring people from episode 20. Again there will be some changes, and these aren't the exact renders I'll use, for example I think I can get them a little higher quality/clearer but it gives you an idea. Banks was a weird one because his bio talks about him being the 'Perth Playboy' and you sort of imagine him to be yeah handsome. Thing is, there's over 20 people on the roster with higher sex appeal than him (and even more with higher star quality). So it's tricky because I agree his render isn't too handsome, but then if I change that, I run the risk of not making the actually handsome people stand out, if that makes sense. There's very few people under 70 sex appeal on the whole roster. I think Captain Wrestling is one, so he's not the prettiest render. The Cluesome Twosome are in their 70's but they've got the short end of the stick and look a bit weird, but like I say it doesn't bother me too much because then the people who are in the 90's sex appeal and star quality should actually stand out. The one problem I have is Bret Heartbreak is 87 sex appeal but currently looks like his felt is melting. So he's one who I definitely still need to tweak! I never said have him win the TV Title... In a paintball fight!! I say this pretty much every time I read one of your shows, but that's my new favourite episode!! Just so good!! Are you sure? I thought that was exactly what you quite forcefully demanded? But yes Rod Sullivan is the actual RAW TV Champion in game. Sooner or later people will learn that we don't concern ourselves with silly little wrestling ideas like 'title prestige'. Saying that, the paintball game will act as a sort of watershed moment for the title, it's a bit of wake up call to RAW saying hey, this carnage it what happens when you don't have a strong champion. So going forward you will notice a change. For Rod though this means he's in a unique position in that he only needs the Quest Title to complete the triple crown. A few others are close to it though, but the only person to do it is Kerry Wayne. His tag win with Will Beaumont actually got him it, but it was sort of overshadowed by everything else going on with that storyline. Prediction Results The last set of predictions were certainly hard. It was only really once Lloyd pointed it out that I realised quite how hard picking the relation was without any hints! Regardless HiPlus was able to win by picking up a point after correctly prediction Tombstone to be the man returning. Speaking of returns, Isaac Taylor was definitely sad to see La Estrella pick him, considering he's been on TV plenty. Granted 'The World's Most Dangerous Yellow Belt' hasn't accomplished anything special, or had any lines. At least now he has the aim to be more memorable going forward! Points Tally HiPlus: 1 (As a reminder, you can cash in these points at any time for a cosmetic change for any superstar. I go into more detail in an earlier post but basically 1=minor change 2=medium change 3=big change.) It had love, it had lust, it had drama, it had a wedding, it had MOTHERLOVER! Which is the biggest Dick move. Best Scene? How is there no Matty Wills and Manhunter in the field! Travesty. Tag-Team Speed Dating had a lot of hype and lived up to it. Most heroic moment, Big Mac standing up for the little man. Just perfect. Best hair, Loxley Robbins comfortably. Favourite wrestler? Well there is no Matty Wills, no Will Beaumont and there is no Lynx (Who between you and Lloyd have actually made me care about as a wrestler, someone I hated.) It has to be Swoop, but got Big Mac was so close. Can I vote for three? The movie night, game of titles and Paintball fight were all on another level. I went back and read each of them and while I popped so hard (and hated) SubUrban Legend. I think the Game of Titles wins for me. Just something so amazing about it. If I'm honest part of the reason Wills didn't is because in I'm genuinely not even sure if he will return so I didn't want any spotlight on him. He's still technically employed but I've been trying to slim down the roster and his skills definitely make him a prime candidate to be let go (same with Manhunter). That said, even though I viewed his storyline as only a vehicle to get Brodie Lachlan over I think people could enjoy him eventually returning and so at some point I have to put what the fans want over in game stats/skills. I'm glad to see Swoop get some love, it might be that people are voting for him just in recognition that he's the main star but I think it's easy to have someone like Swoop be unlikeable or at least for the fans to be drawn towards more of an underdog, but he's doing well in the polls which I'm happy to see. Will Beaumont wasn't nominated because in kayfabe I think it only makes sense for the fan's favourite wrestler to be a face. That said you've reminded me about Lloyd and La Estrella's prediction prize for the contest that's finished. There's 4 things you can chose from, I'm just gonna call it first come first served, pick 1 of the A options and 1 of the B options and if you could PM me your answers that would be great. When somebody does I'll edit this post to tell the 2nd person what they have left. A1: The ASN Network have their own category in the RAWards 'ASN's Favourite Wrestler' however the network enjoys it's heels so please pick any bad guy to win this. Examples of the top heels are Blake Belushi, Maurice Jackson, Luke Steele, Captain Wrestling II, Will Beaumont, Brodie Lachlan, but pick any you'd like. A2: In the last couple of shows (before paintball fight! and the RAWards) we saw Gladiator's girlfriend from the US debut. In game this is the worker known as Black Diamond. I do however like changing names most the time for new characters, it feels like something RAW would do. So you can name this person. This might give you some inspiration, her character hasn't been fleshed out much yet but she's a tough woman from Chicago who is positive and cheerful. The TV Title is going to be decided in a good old fashioned traditional tournament! The second part of your prediction prize is to pick somebody to reach the final. B1: Pick a face to reach the final B2: Pick a heel to reach the final So to confirm, The_Lloyd and La Estrella can pick 1 of the A prizes AND 1 of the B prizes. I'm doing it this way so no one person knows exactly how the tournament is going to go as that would be a shame. I want to add to the list of things you can cash a point in for 'Request Merch' this is basically you can pick a worker and I'll make them up a t-shirt or any other piece of clothing. This episode is essentially just a fancy way of posting the results but also a way of introducing a new character. For anyone interested he's played by Curt Merrit. The 21 year old came to RAW with no popularity but he's too perfect for what I'm trying to build here to pass on. Essentially I want as many roster members to be versatile. I want all my managers to be able to wrestle, my wrestlers to perform other jobs whether that be manager/commentating/road agent etc. I want a strong core cast (and then can have 'extras' or temporary workers rotating around them). So Curt is perfect, he has the potential to be an excellent entertainer, he can wrestle and also colour commentate but right now he's actually going to be a sort of authority figure... but that will become clearer as we continue. So I appreciate that these posts are aren't the proper episode of RAW Attitude! that you've come to expect, as I mentioned previously these are supposed to be sort of filler/maintenance episodes whilst The ASN Studios are sorted after the Paintball Fight. I've not spent much time on them and so it's also allowed me to spend time on the new renders/future planning and a whole new look for the shows that will debut soon! There is one more of these off season style episodes. 'The Corporate Reshuffle and Official Roster Stock Take' but then we return to the 'proper' RAW Attitude! Will provides for me just as much, if not more, than he ever did for Miss Wayne. Saying that, his stats aren't yet A-tier, or even B. But his star quality is higher than Swoop and he's 21 so he definitely has a bright future. Although I quite like that I've developed a sense of fear that any character can end up disappearing, there's definitely a few getting cut soon! Edit: Dizzy G actually wasn't at all on my radar, probably because his wrestling psychology is higher than his acting which is essentially blasphemy in these parts.
