January 2004 Ruthless Aggression TEW 2020 Mod

Looking good!

Just letting you know that there are a lot of workers with 0 experience. It's a shame you can't search skill numbers in the editor, but you can do it in-game (just set the filter of max experience to 0).

Notable ones include Bam Bam Bigelow, Barry Windham, Bobby Eaton, Brad Armstrong, Jerry Jarrett, Jim Cornette, Jim Duggan, Lex Luger, Marc Mero, Raymond Rougeau, Rick Steiner and The Great Sasuke.

<p>Opinion: was going through this thread, making some edits for the Mod and got to the point of Sid having 0 experience that someone had pointed out. I'd also request a psychology bump up from 43. He was awesome and menacing for his size, and usually always put on some damn good/entertaining outings during his time (even with Goldberg in late '99, he carried Bill to a couple fairly decent matches). Sid was a GREAT promo guy too, outside the half-brain blunder lol</p><p> </p><p>

Not sure how it works exactly for this game yet, but if Dutch Mantell's psychology is a 74, I'd recommend putting Sid's around a 63 at least -- judging strictly off Dutch.</p>

<p>Also, don't know if anyone said this, but Randy Savage has both 'Plays offbeat/unstable well' and 'Can't play offbeat/unstable' in his attributes.</p><p> </p><p>

I'd remove the 'Can't play bad ass' for him. In his latter WCW days, with the slicked back hair, he did so masterfully! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Think you might need to edit the skills of a few workers. For example, Stacy Keibler being better in the ring than Molly Holly shouldn't be a thing. Also, WWE may need a new product. Tried to book a street fight only to be told that violent matches will offend the fans. WWE in 2004 was still regularly using violent, risky matches in its feuds.

That aside, loving the mod so far. Really impressed with it and really enjoying myself. There's just something about booking Eddie to win the Rumble because he has a groundswell of public support.

Few notes about the newest data:

- I'd just suggest putting start data variance at none. Just let the player decide if they want any variance.

- Classic Sports Entertainment is the best product for WWE for this time period. Hopefully the devs will tweak it or add some more products because obviously there are issues that make this product give some unrealistic penalties (and some of them are really harsh), but something like No Style Style doesn't fit at all because it's only 25% angles and I don't think storylines even matter for that product. It's also leading to some really high segment ratings due to the popularity/performance ratio favoring whatever is higher.

- Some issues with TV ratings:

Last update, first WWE Raw finished with just over 2 million total viewers, including 1.5 million from Spike TV (which is realistic because most of their viewers would come from them). This update, first Raw finished with 1.6 million, but only 200k was from Spike. J Sports 4 in Japan almost had as many viewers, finishing with 170k. Good news is that The Sports Network is now getting some viewers, probably has something to do with changing their coverage levels, but it looks like it nerfed Spike TV.

As for Smackdown, the new update finished with 2.8 million total viewers, the old data finished with nearly 2.4 million. Things aren't too different there, but all the broadcasters seemed to jump up a bit in viewers, whereas with Raw, everything seemed to drop. Not sure if there's any other factors causing this.

- Someone already mentioned, but there are some vets that have 0 experience. I think it might only be important for road agents (although it is weird to see someone like Earl Hebner with 0 experience, but I don't think it matters for any non-wrestlers except agents), so I'd suggest filtering to easily find all the agents with 0 experience. There's not many, so it shouldn't take long to go through and give them some experience.

I meant to say yesterday so maybe this has already been updated in the latest version, but Erick Rowan has 60 overness throughout the US, I assume because he’s been imported. He only started in wrestling in ‘03 according to Wikipedia so should probably be 0 everywhere except his home region (depending on where he was working at the time).

A couple things. One would you be cool if I sorted out all the pictures and make sure everyone that has a picture is assigned one? Secondly I'd like to again suggest you upload the data zipped or in a folder to make sure the issue with the file type changing when using Firefox doesn't keep happening. (I Have to open the link in Edge and download it that way.)

Also, I did a few tests earlier and not getting the results for ratings for WWE tv shows. It is hard to apply a product for WWE right now since if you do the classic sports entertainment, you get penalized for risky matches</p>

<p>Enjoyed the mod playing with Chikara. But i think every one got too much money. I also noticed that Apple Miyuki is in the database 2 times, the other is under the name of Hibicus Mii. </p><p>

Thank you for creating this and for your time. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Send me a PM with how much money you think companies should have?
