Mark my words.” Rating: 52 </div></blockquote> Rip Chord Invitational Qualifying Match 5 Singles Match 15-Minute Time Limit <img alt="SJXC8qP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SJXC8qP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs<img alt="rcWK6Uh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rcWK6Uh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> <div style="text-align:left;">• As a relative unknown to the MAW crowd, PsychoMike was a fairly poor foil for the weaselly Cheetah Boy. • The match was much more back-and-forth than many expected going in, and the veteran gave a lot up to the up-and-comer. • This was emphasised in Cheetah Boy taking a cannonball senton outside the ring from the 340lbs behemoth. • Once the two got back in the ring however the result was never in doubt as Cheetah Boy outpaced and outthought his adversary and finished things with his Flying Cheetah Pounce. • In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Cheetah Boy defeated PsychoMike in 8:21 by pinfall with a Flying Cheetah Pounce.</div> Rating: 31 Rip Chord Invitational Qualifying Match 6 Singles Match 15-Minute Time Limit <img alt="hsHwEGd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hsHwEGd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs<img alt="un5wyqT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/un5wyqT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> <div style="text-align:left;">• In a match where the two competitors had a combined weight of 637lbs, Ho Tinh faced off against the tournament wildcard Dreadnought. • Ho Tinh tried to end things quickly with his lightning fast Dam Lao backfist but Dreadnought took the move and only dropped to a knee, firing back with a left hook of his own which rocked “The Nine-Tailed Fox.” • The two battled back and forth, and visible welts appeared on the skin of each man as the stiffness of the match took its toll on each of their bodies. • Dreadnought managed to down Ho Tinh - the first time anybody had seen the big man leave his feet that wasn’t for the Strong Blockbuster – and hit him with the Dread Splash that he inherited from his father, but to the amazement of the crowd Ho Tinh kicked out at 1. • The two traded bombs back and forth for the duration of the match, the crowds reaction making up for the sloppy moments which proved that each man needed some polishing before they became the finished article. • However after another Dam Lao backfist, in a moment of desperation Dreadnought fired up and hit a Dread Bomb after no-selling the strike, but then immediately fell to the mat. As the referee began to count the two out, the bell went as the 15-minute timer had been reached and a draw was announced. Halfway up the ramp Dreadnought caught him and turned him around, Ho Tinh spun and raised his fists but Dreadnought moved back a step with his hands raised as if he meant no harm. However just as Ho Tinh lowered his guard, Sandman Winks and The Historian came from behind him and cracked “The Nine-Tailed Fox” in the back of the head with a steel chair. Dreadnought looked down at his falled opponent and walked to the back without acknowledging The Past Masters. The two pummelled Ho Tinh until a group of security staff came and pulled them off. As the son of the original Phoenix, Phoenix IV is seen by many as a man who has never had to struggle in the industry or in life. While Guillotine joined the industry in an attempt to stay off the streets and have a more by-the-book life than that of his brothers. • The two worked a classic David vs Goliath formula as the large man worked over his opponent with a series of big strikes and throws. The tide turned when Guillotine missed a Sideswipe Knee and Phoenix IV capitalised with a series of high impact moves. • Things came to an end however when Guillotine caught Phoenix IV in mid-air with the Sideswipe Knee and the son of Phoenix dropped like a sack of potatoes. • In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Guillotine defeated Phoenix IV in 8:05 by pinfall with a Sideswipe Knee.</div> Rating: 31 Main Event Rip Chord Invitational Qualifying Match 8 Singles Match 15-Minute Time Limit <img alt="EhDllvy.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EhDllvy.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs<img alt="fiRDrc8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/fiRDrc8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> <div style="text-align:left;">• “The Coastal Ace” Frankie Perez came to the ring for his match with Duke Freeman with his usual cocky grin, seemingly unperturbed by the idea of interference from Seth Whitehead’s Alphaville group. The three attacked Frankie Perez, both for beating Duke Freeman but also to soften him up as Guillotine’s next opponent in the tournament. The crowd chanted for Bradley Blaze to make the save, but he did not come, and while the security team from earlier in the night came to break things up, all six men were laid out one-by-one by Guillotine. The assault continued until Frankie Perez was left in a pool of his own blood in the middle of the ring. I look at the show lineup and think that you could be trying to get your next babyface contender for the MAW Championship lined up and established strong. Fforde winning the tournament would give you a fresh face to the championship scene -- he's been champion before but he's spent over a year out of the title hunt but still being booked strong. If he wins here in the way I've laid out, he's beaten OLLIE icon and former COTT World Champion Nicolas Lopez, he's beaten a veteran with a big national name in Jungle Lord, he'll have beaten former champion Bradley Blaze, and then he'll defeat indy-darling and workhorse Frankie Perez in the finals. It will help get Fforde even more established and have him ready to tackle Seth Whitehead and his band of vicious men.

Tournaments are tough to predict, but I feel okay about most of this. Fforde & Blaze are the 2 most likely winners for me, especially now the champ is a heel. Could maybe see Perez winning if you've signed him up full time, but my gut says he's too old to be a MAW guy

“New Haven, Connecticut. Why?”

“Well, it’s just you wrote down here, on this form where it says “region of residence” that you live in the Tri-state area. But it also says on the reference sheet for this form that the Tri-state area is New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.”

Greg sighed and slouched in his chair, filing papers and submitting forms to the government was not how he wanted to spend his Saturday afternoon, especially knowing he had a match the next night, but it wasn’t like he planned to go to the gym. But there was a pint of ice-cream in the freezer calling his name.

“Because,” he began, “That form Is wrong. Where exactly would you say Connecticut is again?”

Christopher McGrath, the unfortunate soul that offered to help his friend a place to stay between the Friday and Sunday shows, and the only person in the world dumb enough to have offered to help fill out the forms didn’t have an answer.

“Exactly! ‘New England’ who do they think they are calling Connecticut a part of New England. You know what they call the Tri-state area? The greater New York area. Do you think Pennsylvania makes up the greater New York area Chris?”

“I guess not,” Chris sighed. “You know I really wish you left Deuce Deadline

in the ring sometimes, dude”

“And I wish you brought Copperhead home! And where’s Brad? I thought he spent time here for shows?”

“He’s locked himself up in an AirBNB somewhere. He said he didn’t want to be seen staying in a house with a ‘a coupla heels’.”

Greg threw a pile of papers down no Christopher’s coffee table, stood up and walked to the fridge. “You got any of that Texas sweet tea in here?” he asked, head already in the fridge.

“Second shelf, near the back. But really Greg you’ve gotta stop drinking that stuff and start hitting the gym, didn’t Jay ask you to shape up a little? You’re not the biggest guy on the roster anymore, and they look better than you. Have you seen the physique on Nate? Now that’s a man.”

“Yeah, and I said no.” Greg’s voice came from the back of the fridge. “I’m 28 years old. I’ve been doing this for literally a quarter of my life, I think I’m beyond the stage where I should be ‘shaping up’. Packer isn’t going to come calling, the Eisen’s aren’t coming calling. Solid in the ring, that’s my thing. You want larger than life, call Ho Tinh.”

“Okay well, stop stealing my sweet tea and come fill out this paperwork.”

“That’s a no-go on the tea little buddy.”

• Both men receive big ovations from a Baltimore Crowd who seem very happy to have two fan favourites go one-on-one for the first and possibly last time in their careers.

• Miller Fforde gets the better of the early exchanges between the two with his superior speed and technical ability, but soon found himself on the receiving end of suplexes and hard strikes from the former SWF legend.

• Jungle Lord went for an early Jungle Jack-Hammer but Fforde had it well scouted and countered with a small package for a close two-count. The two squared off in the middle of the ring and shook hands as a sign of respect before laying into each other again.

• Jungle Lord whipped Miller Fforde into the ropes but found himself on the receiving end of a springboard moonsault, which allowed Fforde to hit the Fforde Flip Face Crusher and pick up possibly the biggest win of his career.

• In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling, Miller Fforde defeated Jungle Lord in 11:41 by pinfall with a Fforde Flip Face Crusher.

Josh Jacobs came out to meet DeAnna Desire who was expecting to conduct an interview with Miller Fforde, Josh seemed uninterested in her protests and took the microphone from her hands. “Listen up everybody, I have something to say. As the Protector of Baltimore, I want to make it clear to all you non-Baltimoreans that you better watch your back. Josh Jacobs is here to protect this great city and the wrestling that happens therein.”
With that, Joey Fili’s entrance music played and the big Samoan came out with a microphone in his hand and strolled down to the staging area adjacent to the ramp. “Listen Josh, maybe Ho Tinh hit you too hard last year and knocked you loopy, but if you’re forgetting, you’re not from here either, and I don’t take kindly to you trying to gatekeep this company, and where I come from, when somebody tries to keep you out, you fight your way back in.”
Josh smiled and said “Yeah, well you won’t beat me, Mr. Samoan.”

• Jacobs and Blaze know each other very well, having shared a ring many times over the past six years, and it showed in how fluidly the two wrestled and their ability to counter one another.

• Jacobs went for an early Baltimore Backdrop, but Blaze managed to land on his feet and turn Jacobs inside-out with a clothesline.

• Blaze then went straight for the Dallas Drop but Jacobs countered into a destroyer which hit with enough force, Blaze’s momentum carried him out of the ring.

• Jacobs dragged Blaze back into the ring and then lined him up for a running knee strike, but Blaze dodged at the last second, sending Jacobs crashing knee-first into the turnbuckle.

• Jacobs in pain, turned straight into the waiting Blaze who hit the Dallas Drop to advance to the next round to take on Miller Fforde.

• In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Bradley Blaze defeated Josh Jacobs in 7:47 by pinfall with a Dallas Drop.

• Frankie Perez came out for this match heavily taped, with a large bandage covering his head where he was busted open the night before.

• Guillotine started the match fast, hitting a big running boot as soon as the bell rang.

• The result was a foregone conclusion from there, as Perez valiantly mounted brief flurries of offence but was overwhelmed by the power of his opponent.

• In a bout that had fantastic heat and good wrestling, Guillotine defeated Frankie Perez in 8:22 by pinfall with a Sideswipe Knee.

Singles Match

15-Minute Time Limit

• Ho Tinh appeared in the ring after the lights went out, avoiding walking down the entrance ramp.

• Deuce Deadline mounted more offence in this encounter than many would have expected due to his opponents weakened condition, and “The Nine-Tailed Fox” was on the backfoot for the opening few minutes.

• Ho Tinh landed the Dam Lao backfist to turn things around, then peppered Deadline with a series of strikes before hitting the Strong Blockbuster for the win.

• In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Ho Tinh defeated Deuce Deadline in 6:03 by pinfall with a Strong Blockbuster.

After his match, Ho Tinh took a microphone and brought it over to Marvin Earnest and handed it to him. He also handed the announcer a piece of paper and stood beside him while he read it. Afterwards Earnest announced that Ho Tinh was demanding that both members of The Past Masters take him on in a handicap match at next month’s Brawltimore event.

• The two rivals shook hands before the bell rang and engaged in a traditional collar and elbow tie-up, which allowed Bradley Blaze to take an early advantage thanks to his superior strength.

• Fforde fought back into the match with the help of a crowd who were invested in the underdog story of Fforde battling back against the overwhelming offence of Blaze.

• Fforde and Blaze kept things clean for the most part, however on the 10-minute mark Blaze caught Fforde with a closed fist and the underdog dropped to the ground clutching his face. After referee intervention it became clear that a gash had opened up above the eye of Fforde.

• When the referee had determined Fforde was fit to continue, Blaze went after the head of Fforde, smashing him into the turnbuckles and nailing him with a vicious DDT.

• Blaze lifted Fforde onto his shoulders to deliver the Dallas Drop, things appeared to be all over, but Fforde wriggled free from Blaze’s grasp, rolled through and caught Blaze with the rollup for the pinfall and to move to the tournament final.

• In a bout that had great heat and good wrestling, Miller Fforde defeated Bradley Blaze in 14:04 by pinfall with a quick cradle.

• Cheetah Boy came out fresh for this match having gotten a bye into this round of the tournament, but Guillotine had a handy time with Frankie Perez after the beating delivered by Alphaville on Friday night.

• Cheetah Boy tried to weasel his way out of facing Guillotine one-on-one, sliding out of the ring at numerous points and making frequent use of rope breaks.

• Once Guillotine got his hands on the veteran, things were very one-sided. Guillotine battered Cheetah Boy around the ring, finishing him off with the Sideswipe Knee.

• In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, Guillotine defeated Cheetah Boy in 8:08 by pinfall with a Sideswipe Knee.

• Two Man Riot and Devil May Care stood across from each other as two counterculture pairings looking to become champions in an industry that typically doesn’t revere men like them.

• Two Man Riot attacked before the bell and took control for the early portions of the match, working down Acid II with hard strikes and fluid double-team moves.

• Acid II managed to fight out of the corner, hitting a big shotgun dropkick on Copperhead and tagged Simon Ice in.

• Simon Ice came in and ran riot on their opponents, hitting massive springboard attack on both members of Two Man Riot, then finished things off with the Body Breaker on Trix Triumph.

• In a decent match, Devil May Care defeated Two Man Riot in 10:01 when Simon Ice pinned Trix Triumph with a Body Breaker.

• Fforde stood across the ring from Guillotine, a man who barely broke a sweat in his first two matches of the night, while Fforde battled hard against one of the biggest names to ever walk into MAW, and the former Mid Atlantic Champion. Fforde’s head was bandaged, and he looked diminutive standing across the ring from Guillotine, but he showed now fear when the bell rang.

• Guillotine ran straight through Fforde with a big boot, and ripped the bandage off his head and laid into him with forearm shots to the top of Fforde’s head, and even threw in a closed fist punch to the disdain of the record-breaking 721 people in attendance.

• The referee threatened to disqualify Guillotine if he continued with his rule bending so the rest of the match was low on cheating, but the damage done to Fforde left him defenceless for much of the early portions of the match.

• Fforde did fight back in, feeding off the crowd he hit his springboard moonsault on the standing Guillotine and then dropped an elbow on the chest of the big man but only got a two-count.

• Fforde lifted Guillotine to his feet and went for another springboard moonsault, but Guillotine caught him and hit a powerslam on the smaller man.

• Guillotine worked down Fforde with suplexes and boots, even dragging him out of the ring and slamming him into the guard rail, while Fforde’s blood ran down his face, into his eyes, and onto his chest.

• Guillotine hit the Sideswipe Knee and things looked to be over, but Fforde had a foot under the rope, showing inexperience from Guillotine, but the nearfall only angered him and made his assault more vicious.

• Fforde managed to escape Guillotine’s clutches and drilled him into the mat with a DDT, and then managed to hit the Fforde Flip Face Crusher to win the match and the tournament.

• In a bout that had fantastic heat and decent wrestling, Miller Fforde defeated Guillotine in 21:35 by pinfall with a Fforde Flip Face Crusher. Miller Fforde wins the Rip Chord Invitational Challenge.

• Guillotine was visibly tiring towards the end.

Rating: 46

Bradley Blaze came down to the ring and helped Fforde to his feet and hugged the man who knocked him out of the tournament as Sam Keith presented the trophy to Fforde. Confetti and streamers were thrown into the ring.

But before the celebrations could come to an end, the members of Alphaville, came down without Seth Whitehead. The show closed as Fforde and Blaze battled the three men who came to attack them, with viewers at home unsure as to how the calamity concluded.

A/N: The first two-show month was a success as far as I'm concerned, with two good shows, although as per usual the first match of the night was well, match of the night.

For the month Kjarvs was our winner with a 12/16 score! Followed by Historian with 11/16, lieon02 with 8/16 and then Hitman74 and EpicCorey with 5/16 scores, but tournaments are always difficult to predict.

I'm behind where I want to be a little bit, been in a bit of a rut the last few days so writing either narratives or shows has been a struggle and coupled with the fact I'm going back to work next week means things may slow down a bit but I'll be trying to keep things very consistent, thanks for reading!

The to-do list of DeAnna Smith was an ever-increasing amalgamation of unconnected events. She moved like a drunken giraffe from one happening to the next with no clear idea of where she was really going. It wasn’t that she was unhappy with her life. She liked working for Sam Keith, she enjoyed the freelance writing when she could get a gig, her boyfriend was sweet, she was nearing graduation and a degree in Communications and her family were supportive of her flying out to Baltimore once a month, although they didn’t seem to care much once DeAnna revealed that the travel and accommodation was on Sam Keith’s dime.

She sat in her bedroom, a week out from the next show, two from the next deadline, working on something unrelated to either. Was it a novel? It was a little bit avant garde for a novel. Was it a poem? It didn’t come from the heart and soul like good poetry did. She wasn’t sure what it was, but it was hers and it had been since she was ten years old. It was writing. One long, extended piece of writing stretching over hundreds of thousands of words that existed to serve no purpose other than to exist. She liked that about it. DeAnna had to constantly be doing things. Assignments or jobs or travel. She never really, truly had the opportunity to just exist. To just be for what she was.

She had a text from Jay. “Here’s what you’re doing at the next show,” she knew it would say. Followed by a 500-word analysis of a segment that would undoubtedly take four minutes to get through. DeAnna leaned back and closed her eyes and hoped when she opened them and look at the text, she would have more to do come the next time she flew to Baltimore.

• Ho Tinh appeared in the ring after the lights went out, likely to avoid an attack from The Past Masters before the match began.

• The match began with a two on one attack by Sandman Winks and The Historian who charged straight for “The Nine-Tailed Fox” and hit him with hard strikes in the corner.

• The referee managed to take control of the match, and once The Past Masters were split up Ho Tinh took control with his martial arts inspired offence.

• The Past Masters struggled to take the big man off his feet, however while Sandman Winks distracted the referee, Dreadnought ran into the ring and clobbered Ho Tinh from behind, then nailed him with a Dread Bomb.

• By the time the referee turned back around he witnessed The Historian the Blast From The Past on Ho Tinh and cover him for the three count.

• In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, The Past Masters defeated Ho Tinh in a Handicap match in 11:40 when The Historian pinned Ho Tinh with a Blast From The Past following interference from Dreadnought.

Rating: 40

DeAnna Desire met Kyle Diamond on the stage and asked him who his partner was for the upcoming match with The Wolf Pack.
“Well DeAnna, I haven’t had the best time since I’ve come to Mid Atlantic Wrestling. But, as you know I’ll never give up. I’m going to keep getting up and slamming my head against the wall because one of these days I’m going to break through. I’ve got the heart of a lion DeAnna, and the only man who could be my partner is somebody with the same fighting spirit as me. So say hello to my partner, one half of Lionhearts, and a future tag team champion. Gordon Shearer!”

Shearer came out to the stage and he looked small compared to the ripped Diamond. He looked about 80lbs lighter, but similarities can be drawn between Lionhearts and DeMarcus & Gray.

• The new team of Lionhearts showed themselves to be a good pairing with the strength of Kyle Diamond meshing well with the high-flying offence of Gordon Shearer.

• The two got to shine for the opening portion of the match, but they were quickly shut down by the Mid Atlantic Tag Team champions.

• The two teams went through a standard formula which resulted in Sean Noggin hitting Searer with the Hangman’s Neckbreaker.

• In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, The Wolf Pack defeated Lionhearts in 7:40 when Sean Noggin pinned Gordon Shearer with a Hangman's Neckbreaker.

Rating: 30

After the final bell Acid II and Simon Ice came out to the top of the ramp and had a stare down with The Wolf Pack, motioning that they want a title shot before disappearing backstage.

• Two veterans of MAW went head-to-head in a match that would provide good momentum at this early stage of the year.

• Needham was accompanied to the ring by Lisa Bowen who didn’t show any particular interest in the action going on in the ring, instead spending much of its eight-minute run time filing her nails.

• Needham and Deadline went back and forth in a relatively even affair that ended when Needham found himself on the receiving end of the Deadliner.

• In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Deuce Deadline defeated Johnny Needham in 7:54 by pinfall with a Deadliner.

• The masked rookie War Piece was making his debut here against the young Samoan who has struggled for form since last year.

• War Piece got some heat in early, catching Fili off guard.

• This wouldn’t last long as Fili hit a big Samoan drop and took control of the match.

• He then dropped War Piece with a Spinning Back Fist to pick up the win.

• In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Joey Fili defeated War Piece in 4:27 by pinfall with a Spinning Back Fist.

After his match Joey Fili grabbed a microphone and stood in the ring to address Josh Jacobs, who was given the show off. “Josh if you want to call yourself the protector of this city that’s fine. If you want to do some community work to make this city a better place I can’t fault you. But Josh you’ve gone too far. You want to say this place isn’t for outsiders? That’s where I’m going to take an issue, and Josh once I get my hands on you I’m going to make you wish you never zipped up that stupid jacket, and I’m going to run your skinny ass back to Canada!”

• The veteran tag team representing OLLIE were making a rare appearance this far north in the United States to take on the former Mid Atlantic Tag Team champions.

• Evil Intent lived up to their name, showing no hesitation to bend the rules to take the lead in the match.

• The two teams went hell for leather, laying into each other hard, with Nate DeMarcus made to look especially good as he threw Hellspawn and Slayyer around the ring.

• DeMarcus & Gray hit the Rocket Launcher on Hellspawn 666 and things looked all over until what originally appeared to be a fan jumped over the ringside barricade and pulled the referee out of the ring.

• Another supposed fan threw white powder into the face of Nate DeMarcus who turned directly into The Pit of Hell from Evil Intent, after the two attackers, who removed Evil Intent masks to reveal themselves to be Two Man Riot threw Tyron Gray into the ring steps.

• In a decent match, Evil Intent defeated DeMarcus & Gray in 10:22 when Hellspawn 666 pinned Nate DeMarcus with The Pit Of Hell following interference from Trix Triumph. Evil Intent make defence number ten of the COTT World Tag Team titles.

• The Greatness came out alone for this match, without the rest of Alphaville, although Fforde and Blaze made it clear to their opponents that they were ready to take on the whole group.

• The Greatness were clearly the more cohesive team, putting together good strings of double team moves and cutting the ring off, allowing them to wear down Miller Fforde while Blaze was stuck on the ring apron.

• At one point Harvey Robbinfield hit Fforde with what looked like a version of Blaze’s Dallas Drop which drew the former Mid Atlantic Champion into the ring, however the referee stepped in to stop him and the distraction allowed Robbinfield and Whitehead to choke Fforde in their corner.

• Fforde hit a springboard moonsault on Seth Whitehead and made the tag to Bradley Blaze who came into the ring and cleaned house, hitting big punches and clotheslines on both members of The Greatness.

• He tagged in Fforde and the two seemed to be setting up for some kind of double team finishing move on Seth Whitehead, however he ducked out of the way and Bradley Blaze levelled Miller Fforde with a big clothesline that turned him inside-out.

• Harvey Robbinfield then took Blaze out of the ring, which allowed Whitehead to lock Fforde in the Minnesota Stretch, and forced the man he will be facing one-on-one at the next show to tap out.

• In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, The Greatness defeated Bradley Blaze and Miller Fforde in 22:05 when Seth Whitehead submitted Miller Fforde with a Minnesota Stretch after Bradley Blaze accidentally struck Miller Fforde.

• Harvey Robbinfield was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

After their match Fforde and Blaze were left alone in the ring, Fforde tried to talk things out with Blaze and shake his hand, but Blaze refused. He got up in Fforde’s face and the twi butted heads and jawed back and forth until Blaze shoved Fforde over and stormed out of the ring and up the ramp.

A/N: Predictions for this show were all very close, with no perfect scores but nothing less than 4/6! Historian tops the board so far this month with a 5/6 score, while Kjarvs, lieon02 and Herrbear took good 4/6 scores!

For the half-year, with at least two predictions in the bank there is a draw for first with both Historian and Kjarvs sitting on 72.73% so far. The we have lieon02 on 54.55% and EpicCorey with 31.25% although there is a lot of shows left to go and more than enough time for a big shake up on the scoreboard!

Yeah, I'll be looking to expand on that partnership going forward, but one thing I like in wrestling is groups of people who are aligned without necessarily being a stable. I mean are we supposed to believe these people aren't friends unless they're tag team partners?

I think now that I'm beyond the first year I can really start fleshing out personalities with what's established, and on the topic of Blaze and Fforde, that is one born out of necessity I think, I wasn't loving the prospect of two milquetoast goody goodies in the main event scene together.

That's how I'm feeling in my dynasty. It takes some time to get going, but it's a ton of fun making your own unique characters! It really adds to the immersion and makes writing a lot more fun. The MAW roster has some great personalities and I'm definitely intrigued by where you'll take them.

The card for this year's Wrestling Classic has been posted to the MAW website and Twitter and features a strong lineup with two titles on the line! Bradley Blaze is also in action, continuing his one-man war against Alphaville in an attempt to reclaim the Mid Atlantic Championship. It has been advertised that The Past Masters have an announcement to make prior to Sandman Winks match with the incoming New York Doll.
