Why is the database maker's whiteboard so big?

<p>Let me preface this by saying that the database makers are the lifeblood of this game, and i respect and love their work. </p><p> </p><p>

However i have a question</p><p> </p><p>

Why is the whiteboard in the editor so big? </p><p> </p><p>

I mean, it takes up over half the editor screen, so much space for a feature only a few will use, space that could have been used better or for better organization of the editor itself. This of course integrates into the discussion about the UI but it has been discussed at length in other threads and i'm sure Adam will listen to the criticisms and will make us all happy, however the whiteboard choice is still one i cant wrap my head around.</p><p> </p><p>

Maybe I'm the only one, but I will absolutely use all that space to write myself notes. Especially now that it's gotten harder to fit Notepad on the screen.

Yea, I really do use the space, and find it very useful.

I’m probably not gonna use that much space but I did fill out the old one a few times so I appreciate the upgrade in size, and I think it taking up space on screen is kinda a non issue in this case, if anything I just wanna be able to quickly access it on the booking screen if possible

The bigger question is why is not accessible on the booking screen aka 1 of the only 2 screens I ever used it? I mainly used it to track who couldn't go All Out. That and not having the roster available to view on the tournament screen are 2 of the most HUH??? things about the new layout I have.

 

The tournament screen is a great add, but when you have to draw it out on paper first like in 2016, it's kinda pointless.

I've been saying this for a week now!

 

I just don't like it being so big. If it was a very small section, or even better, just make it so we can open a sub-screen in any window, add the text we want, then be able to click over on the original window we opened without needing to close our sub-window. That would be so much better than having a big awkward whitevoid that takes up half of the editor screen.
