<strong>WORLD LEVEL WRESTLING</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

To my surprise, nobody has gone and made a thread for World Level Wrestling yet! Probably my favourite japanese company to play as I don't follow much strong style in real life and WLW most closely resembles a Northern American independent promotion with it's emphasis on lucha high flying as well it's the traditional puro. I am definitely thinking about taking on WLW in my first game and trying to keep them afloat after the year off with a diary to go with. What are some ideas that you might use to revamp WLW? Any little known prospects in the area that won't get snatched from me in the first few months of play?</p>

Haven't gotten around to trying to start a save for WLW but Yuta Isono is a great prospect that I've seen when looking at unemployed junior heavyweight Japanese workers that I'll probably sign for any company with juniors, with his 87 SQ he's a future star for sure that I'll sign 100% when I start a save for WLW or EX2010. Also, based on the description of the move in his bio he seems to have innovated what we know as the Codebreaker in the CVerse with his "Isono Face Melter"

<p>First, Koji Kojima was framed. FRAMED!</p><p> </p><p>

Second, and this kind of ties in to the first, I'm disappointed that Def-Realm isn't still around in some fashion.</p><p> </p><p>

Third, with Reaver gone (and Laura Flame tied up with CWA even if he wasn't), I'm less likely to try and start a "joshidora" division.</p><p> </p><p>

On the upside, I'm glad the new owner hasn't decided to drastically change the product. It's still a bit goofy, and not as taxing on the workers as other Japanese companies.</p>

I didn't know anything was up until I saw that the Incredible Koyama (sp?) had signed with the company. "Wait, he and Kojima hate each other, how is that- OH. MY. GOD."</p>

First time playing the C-Verse and chose this company to get my bearings. Man I didn’t know how rough shape they are in but love some of the workers. Masa is a God send and the only guy BHOTWG’s doesn’t try and steal (done 3/4 play throughs). Every game Eagle Kawasawa, at least one of if not both of Black House, Americana, and Panda Mask get scooped up. This most recent play through I have Eagle has head booker so he doesn’t get stolen.

Still, Great young talent like Masa, Tiger Prince, Nichiren Amagawa, Naoji Azumi, and Shogun Watoga have caused me to fall in love with this company. Can’t wait till the full game comes out, and take these guys to the top

Japan as a whole for me was Adam booking himself into a corner when he made the Tsunami narrative appear, he couldn't just remove it because we had gone past the date, so instead one way or another he's completely destroyed much of Japan.

He's took out WEXVV, which honestly is just barmy, because a Hardcore company in a country with no competition to that style of wrestling, even if it released its biggest stars and dropped in size further would realistically have still ran as there was always going to be a market.

Honestly it was a country I could spend days and weeks playing in, because of tours and stuff always giving me something to do, but over the course of two games and especially with this one, he's ruined GCG, WEXVV, WLW, overpowered much of the roster for Burning Hammer talent wise in the Juniors but added nothing to really make them a global power long term.

I was so positive about the stuff you could do with 21CW in their thread, but in this one, I just tend to agree that a lot of this hasn't made any sense.

The DDT idea makes a little sense, considering the likes of Panda Mask II and The Tic but even that when I remember playing WLW before just makes more sense to have just started a new breakaway company. If this was realistic, if your bosses have just been linked to financial dealings with The Yakuza, why on earth would you want to stay associated to the company name?

Because loyalty is the most important trait a man/panda can have and without loyalty they'd be better off dead or jumping ship to the true culprits Exodus.

Or even worse, going to the Burning Hammer.

I meant less the half man half panda and more the company as a whole.

I get that renaming three companies (if you count the Canada hybrid as an entity) in one game would probably be overkill but WLW really needed to move away from the problems it had under a new name.

Man it seems like WLW is a bit tough this year! I liked them last game but never liked the idea of the MJM so I never used em. I’ve restarted with WLW 5 or 6 times now and BHOTWG raids every time, it’s like giving me GCG flashbacks from BCG play throughs in 2016 lol. You can basically expect to lose Americana, Panda, Eagle and Black House every game which means you have to pretty much completely revamp your Stars and above.

Luckily Masa, Nichiren and Tic aren’t going anywhere. I’ve also been hiring Arthur Dexter Bradley and Samoan Machine so I can bring back the 505 faction with them alongside Akima and Toma. Additionally I like to bring on Shingen(sp?) and Washi Heat for a little popularity back.

Is there anyone other WLW players recommend hiring to replace all of the early talent losses?

I'm not playing WLW, but in all my saves so far, Masa Kurata always gets hired by Exodus 2010, and very weirdly, he always prioritizes their shows over WLW's, which wouldn't be a big deal if not for the fact that they seemingly have half a dozen conflicting shows every month.

Exodus 2020 is the same size, has half the audience and attendance, is many ranks lower and isn't where Masa Kurata made it big. Do they pay him much more or something?
