[HYPE] CVerse Women's Revolution

Recommended Posts

Um.. is it just me, or do some of these workers not have moves in their moves set? I was just looking over a few of them and I noticed that Ashley Keith's 'Proton Lock' isn't in her moveset, neither is Tameka Sky's chokeslam and I had to assign the Hooligan Sisters' moves to them because they weren't there.

Did you import everything in the proper order?

Just a quick heads up, for the Dallas-Fort Worth belt you called it NTTW, not NTWW.

And the company is set to open in January 2010

Great stuff as always though, a great addition to the CVerse!

I'll change that in the DB but probably won't release a new link for such a minor tweak but thanks for pointing that out.

You probably didn't import the data in the correct order. Jaysin was nice enough to post the proper order for importing on the last page. See below and try this order and it should work:

1) MOVES

2) MOVE SETS

3) WORKERS

4) WORKER RELATIONSHIPS

5) CHEMISTRY

6) TAG TEAMS

7) GRADUATES

8) EXCURSIONS

9) ALTER EGOS

10) NARRATIVES

Yeah, I saw that and that's the way I imported it originally, so I tried it again and downloaded the mod into a separate database, but some workers still don't have moves in their movesets. I only checked a few, but the Hooligan Sisters have their moves in their moveset in the database, but it didn't automatically import into my save game. Ashley Keith has a moveset but no moves, but that was pretty simple to fix. Tameka Sky is the one that I checked that had a moveset but nothing in her moveset, so I looked in the moves section for the 'Sky High Chokeslam', but it wasn't there.

Yeah! I redownloaded the mod, but there were just some moves that were missing. I haven't checked all the movesets, so I don't know who has moves in their movesets and who doesn't, but from what I've seen so far, Ashley Keith doesn't have the Proton Lock assigned, and Tameka Sky doesn't have her chokeslam.

Cross posting this from the 2018 alt thread because I figured well worth showing appreciation to both of you

Yeah Willr0ck nailed that mod to be fair, I'm a Warrior Queen guy myself (as odd as that reads!)

You’ve both done fantastic work. Right now I am running an AAA, Eve and Neotokyo save with Eve on a touring schedule that allows for easy integration with Neotokyo. My long term twenty year or so aim is to have AAA enter the big three with a weekly product while not having a dead catering crowd because of an alliance that lets most of my roster among the three have something going on. Right now my short to medium term aim is to have a stable around Harpy, Banshee and the Weird Sisters tearing it up across America and Japan against stables headed by Ashley Keith and Spider Isako.

Can confirm with my own game. Looking in a freshly downloaded copy of the database, none of the above is set.

I just checked every move set and it looks like all the moves have been assigned. Perhaps I posted an old link or something. Try this one:

Quick comment on Warrior Queen 2020, having done a run I rushed too soon to make into a diary:

Their pre-set popularity has them start at Small, requiring 20 wrestlers. Most likely after the first show they'll drop to Tiny, but still, roster size is an issue when combined with the preset Deathmatch product. According to that product's setting, shows are 90% matches and at least half the matches need to be deathmatches. That means you need women with the Deathmatch Wrestler tag. Unless you're willing to fly in people from around the world and raise your expenses by a lot, your starting options are: Dr. Yumaniac, Fujiko Musashibo, Mirai Kajahara, Monster Ishimura, Naoko Maijima, Onryo and Unstoppable Tai. There's a good chance one of those is your UC too. ;)

I think regardless of size, it's clear that 7 wrestlers are not enough for a promotion with such a product, even assuming you don't get plagued by injuries. And unless you've deactivated repetitive booking (which you most likely haven't) that'll come up as well.

So I went into the editor and switched their product from Deathmatch to Gory Hardcore (also renamed it from "Women's Deathmatch" into "Joshi Deathmatch"). Both products are very similar and still require you book every match as a Deathmatch, Hardcore, Wild Brawl, Car Crash or Mayhem, but Gory Hardcore removes the "50% or more of the matches must be Deathmatch" requirement. It's a minor tweak, but one I believe makes the promotion more playable and viable without changing it too much. Also, spinal moves aren't allowed by default, so while you're at it, remove the tick in that box as well.

Just putting it out for anyone interested in playing as WQ2020 or seeing them survive in their save. Or, you know, for willr0ck's consideration in a future version of the mod

Just to add to this, I too made them gory hardcore. Sadly there just aren't enough deathmatch women

While waiting for more updates, I've decided to play as NTWW, doing it as a Start Your Own Company. I went with Hokey Southern Rasslin' as the Core & Current Product, and set the company to Rock Hard difficulty. Storm won the Heart Of Texas and eponymous tournament title at the debut Queen Of The Rodeo, Frost & Neema defeated Skuld & Verdana at Dallas Double Trouble to become the first NTWW tag team champs, and The Ice Queen won in a 6-way elimination match at Fort Worth Fury to become the Dallas-Fort Worth Champion.

So I am loving having Chris Amerson in my fed - such a bad ass. But with legit MMA experience it feels weird getting her to lose. Not much of an issue at the moment as she at the top of my fed in popularity (either men or women). Thoughts on building to a loss?

(I have had someone else get pinned in a tag match in the pre-show but I don't even count that as anything).

- She goes all out from the start like it's an MMA fight, but her opponent endures. Amerson ends up gassing out early, thus she's slow and her moves cause way less damage, while her opponent gets to work against a weakened Amerson.

- She tries to get a submission (preferrably via armbar) and her opponent moves to the side. Amerson's shoulders are on the mat and the ref counts, but she never notices; she got too carried away chasing the tap and forgot about pinfalls

- Her opponent cheats. A lot.

- She finds herself in an unusual match type, like a hardcore weapons match or a ladder match, which isn't just about beating your opponent.

- Someone attacks her before or during the match.

- A particularly deadly move of hers (maybe her finisher) is forbidden. If she uses it, she'll lose the match.

I will keep these in mind. She's currently a heel, but some of these could work. I think by the time I've built someone up I will have enough story behind the character to reach that match organically. My *VERY* bare bones/basic outline is she's in a stable with other "fighters," but not really in need of help. (Best I can recall she doesn't need a mouthpiece, and my fed is tiny anyway so I haven't yet reached the point of needing X rating to not lose popularity - not much to lose currently anyway as a company). I'll have to look at the roster, but I think the other female in the group is Christy Higgins. Depending on how her popularity works I think there's a fun dynamic to explore there (thinking Batista/Triple H (Evolution) or Sting getting kicked out of the 4 Horsemen).

But I'm getting WAY ahead of myself on this as I go into my second month touring. There's plenty of time to build this, and maybe something else comes up in the course of telling the story.

I've been playing more and more, having re-downloaded the base mod and the expansion pack, but I have noticed a few things...

- The CLLFC Trios belt is set as a Singles title.

- The Hooligan Sisters are set as not being Blood Relatives.

- EVE starts with $0. Is that right?

- The text states that Faith Force is close friends with Tameka Sky, but there's no relationship set.

- The Product for 4L and CLLFC has it set as Faces/ Heels instead of Tecnico/ Rudo. Similarly, the AI booking style doesn't reflect that CLLFC doesn't do 1 on 1 matches.

Otherwise, loving the new stuff. Sinda Sarai might be my favorite.

Noticed both these and fixed them in the editor, my bad for not bringing it up on this thread too.

Not if you want to start a game with them set to active and you as their owner. Otherwise, if/when they open, whoever takes control as new owner will also pour some funds into the promotion.

Wait, is that how it works??? I have all my yet to debut companies with some finances as I thought they needed that to survive

From what I understand, every time a new owner takes over, they put in some funds to go with it. Doesn't mean that every company needs to have starting finances set to $0 though. If you do that, they'll only start with whatever the owner chips in. If not, it'll be the pre-set amount, plus the money added by the new owner.

That didn't happen with me. The owner, Tamara McFly (who admittedly never struck me as one to have oodles of extra cash) did offer to work for free until we had money.
