That plus small button reseting our all dismisess on that screen. I haven't tried it in TEW2020 yet, but I'm pretty sure in TEW2016 that's what adding a worker to the blacklist did. Not as quick and easy as your suggestion, admittedly, as you've got to open each worker's profile first but might be worth a try all the same.
