I wish doing the stats was a lot easier to calculate for having only 750 points to spend. I’m using the recommended template to set a generic skill set, I’m personally going for a brawler(making my CVerse Seven Brandt character from Thunderverse) but it’s tough trying to get everything to equal to 750.

Maybe set every skill that got randomized to full tens, ie. 50 or 60? Then count them, say you get 720. Now you know you can put 30 more in, then adjust them accordingly when you know you now have the full 750. I just went with the random and had it sort it out. There are two ways to go about it, either do full random and put in the 750 yourself.

So if we do the random thing we still have to abide by the 750 point total? I'm pretty sure at first glance mine are higher than 750.

yes. what would be the point of a limit at all then?

75 points in a few key stats with 50s and 25s sprinkled around has always worked best for me anyway. i may do the heidenreich challenge again this year mixed with the RTG.

Create a wrestler, and set the following stats to 100%:

Microphone

Charisma

Acting

Looks

Superstar Quality

Athleticism

Toughness

Stamina

Intensity

Stiffness

Resilience

Menace

Leave the rest at 0% (including all the Popularity stats. Leave his physical condition stats at 100%). Make him 18 (born in 1987 if you're using the default start date of December 2005. I'd suggest December 1987).

So now you have basically a super-entertaining athlete, with no wrestling training at all.

Now for the challenge: Using any promotion you like (I'd suggest SWF or TCW though, for reasons that are about to become obvious) the challenge is to get this sack of **** over. Get him so over, that your Ideal Roster feature tells you to put him in the main event (when you're a Global or International company. No using MAW ¬_¬), and legitimately make him your World Champion (or equivalent thereof).

There are two restrictions though:

- You must actually push him as a wrestler (no using him as a manager right until his title win!)

- No editing once the game starts, obviously. If he gets injured/stolen, tough. Wait until he comes back/you're able to re-steal him.

2. Use the Quick Skill Creation tool

Use the following settings:

Top Row Left - Set to 'trainee'

Top Row Middle - Pick from Brawler, Technician, High Flier, Spot Monkey or Hardcore Brawler

Top Row Right - Set to 'Whose skills are average'

Bottom Row Left - Set to 'of average athleticism'

Bottom Row Middle - Set to 'Somewhat entertaining'

Bottom Row Right - Set to 'Who looks like a star'

Then click 'create'. Just should just click this once, if you are unhappy with your stats after the first click then you can create your character using method 1.

Then make the following changes:

- No skill should be higher than 75 (except resilience). If any stat is above 75 then change it to 75

- Set Resilience to 100

- Set Reputation to 50

- Set Respect to 0

- Experience should be 0

- Move points between Sex Appeal and Menace if you wish

That's taken directly off the first post. You do your random roll, adjust stats over 75 to at 75 and keep it moving. The point of the limit is when you can choose your stats, you can choose the stats that are best suited for an easier game. In doing a mystery roll, your generated stats are random as opposed to having a few 75s in key areas such as star quality, entertainment skills and technical ability.

I'm going to continue forth with the character I created up above following the template of option 2. If BC wants to inform that I misinterpreted the rules, then I guess I'll start over with self allocating my worker's stats.

This is always one of the first things I do with a new TEW but I've never been able to complete it. Is this the year? Using the CVerse 2005 mod. Did the random roll and then redistributed my 87 Sex Appeal. Feel like I got pretty lucky on the Entertainment skills but he's not much of a worker.

Started a new save in 1.03, running a Deathmatch promotion in Japan to make it even harder than Gory Hardcore. Getting 30 rated cards without an announcer. Owner is Koichi Kajiwara with very easy owner goals. My only concern is the unavoidable risk of getting a massive injury. :o This RTG save is the only save I'm running at the moment and I have no intention on switching the promotion either. It'll be Road to Glory with WEXX or no glory at all.

End of Year One

With Year One now in the books I feel like it wasn't too bad of a year for my first attempt at this challenge. Had a $45k debt in May and ended up turning that around after I had signed a deal with WrestleWorld and started doing monthly shows instead of weekly. I ended the year ranked 23rd in the world with a budget of $14k.

Remmy Skye is by far my companies figurehead,(even though not placed as figurehead) he still is the best star on my roster and held the companies championship from January all the way till November getting dethroned by Hammer Hadley.

Even though we didn't get most improved company I still felt its been a pretty solid year. Raised to a tiny company, worked our way out of debt and doing well for ourselves just hoping to soon produce a 50 card event and gain a few more popularity to rise to a small company. That being said we've only managed to tick off the following achievements:

Hello World - Work for a Tiny company

As for our Mystery Box Rolls? I've rolled the following:

21. “Nose To The Grindstone” You have devoted yourself to training in the ring +5 any Primary skill of your choice

Has been a lot of morale issues, due mainly to botched moves but that's something we will be needing to work on and trying to fix the morale in the locker room.

Year Two I'm trying to find some more veterans I can hire for a cheap price to help the roster a bit. Should be a interesting year...

One year in!

200k in the bank and knocking on the door of Medium. I've locked up Youngman, Acid II, McManus and the California Dreams as well as getting Marc Speed! We run 2 events a week on WrestleWorld right now but once we hit medium I plan on getting to a tv and major event schedule.

So far my best match is a 75 rated match with Ernest Youngman and Acid II.

Figure I'll give this a proper go.

"Austin London" is ready to become the #1 wrestler, ever. :D

D9cT1q6.png

Going to be going for a promotion based in Queensland.

M0CpVNr.png

Also, for the added challenge, I'm playing with 0s in all of my User Talents.

EDIT: Also, I'm only hiring active wrestlers who are based in Queensland until I either rise in size or move on to one of the bigger companies. Wish me luck!

EDITED EDIT: Managed to comprise a roster of people who are only based out of Queensland! (I'm lucky, in that regard, I guess!)

Magnus Ivansson, Glen Lee, Marvin McKenzie, Original Lone Rider & London Platten make up my non-wrestlers, while my wrestlers include my UC (Austin London), Mauler, Smasher, Bounce Buchanan, Flip Buchanan, Jesse Tasman, Ice Ice Davey, The Kipper, Pat Rigsby, Cody Cook, Dee Lucketti, Lance Lott, Craig Phoenix, Wes Schnorfestt, Toby Tough, Trey Tallman, Moonchild and Surfer Dude Lucas.

Its June Year 1 in my game. I have a deal with wretleworld but I'm still losing thousands of dollars from production costs despite doing only a show a month. What am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem with my second trial run, tiny company working my way towards becoming small yet I'm still about $45k in debt on WrestleWorld running monthly events.

How much are you losing per month?

What's the economy/industry like? How expensive are your workers? What are your production values? Do you have any of the backstage rules that have a cost associated with them? Are your shows still free or are you charging normal ticket prices?

The production costs are a killer when you're a tiny company. And to be honest at tiny what good is Wrestleworld actually doing you? Gaining you a bit of merch sales in the rest of the country? When your merch is probably ramshackle? It doesn't seem worth it. Additionally it will increase the national popularity of your workers which will;

a) mean they will want more money and

b) mean that they're more likely to be poached by bigger feds.

Obviously in the long term you need Wrestleworld to get to Medium but I wouldn't be in a rush to get a deal - it costs too much in the short-term. I have to say that I'm loving the dynamic Wrestleworld introduces into the world.

That being said I just got fined 50k for music right infringement, which is the first time that's ever happened to me. So I'm now 40k in the hole with only 4 months left until the new year. So I'm back on a touring schedule. Particularly as all my workers from QAW want loads of money because QAW has a weekly show and they're accruing popularity like you wouldn't believe. I've started actively trying to leech that pop onto my other workers.

My user-character has also ruined the career of Air Raid Syren with a botched move. Out for a year. So I've started having to use Keep it Simple notes for her.

It's the most fun I've had in the first half year of doing a RtG I have to say. :)
