Tale of the Tape: An enormous opportunity for Gauge and the first time these two have ever fought. If Gauge can submit Andrews with his signature Proton Lock he will surely insert himself into the World Title conversation.

Television Title

Jay Chord vs Matt Hocking©

Tale of the Tape: Title defences don't come much harder than this. Word from backstage is that Troy Tornado has been in management's ear about giving Hocking some "Proper" opposition, and this is the result.

Joshua Taylor vs Edd Stone

Tale of the Tape: These two have been at each other's throats for several weeks now. They have met before, but never with such animosity between them.

Tag Titles

American Ultra vs Mighty Meaty( C )

Tale of the Tape: A surprise title shot for new arrivals American Ultra - Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler - who have been making waves in pre-show and occasional main show matches. Mo and Tana will need to be weary of taking the newcomers lightly.

Fro Sure vs Wolf Hawkins

Tale of the Tape: On paper there is only one winner here, yet since his arrival in the company Fro Sure has consistently found himself facing opposition of the highest calibre, which speaks to how highly management think of him.

Aaron Andrews vs Greg Gauge

The AA/Wolf feud is obviously the biggest possible thing TCW can do, and you're building it up really well (loved their promo last week). So as much as Gauge climbing up the card makes sense, I can't imagine you doing anything to hurt AA's momentum (unless there's some interference)

Television Title

Jay Chord vs Matt Hocking©

This is tough because I assume Chord is a fair bit more popular... but I'd be surprised to see him win this.

Joshua Taylor vs Edd Stone

I always wanted to see Edd break out and hit the main event, but I'm not certain he'll ever do it now

Tag Titles

American Ultra vs Mighty Meaty( C )

I like MM

Fro Sure vs Wolf Hawkins

Same as the top response really. Can't see Wolf losing any momentum

I'm glad you're enjoying the Wolf vs Andrews feud! It's the natural first place for TCW's main event to go, I think. They're the best heel and face combo on the roster by some way. Though with that comes the limitation of trying not to rely on them to carry all of your shows.

Aaron Andrews vs Greg Gauge

Absolutely have to agree with christmas_ape here. The build-up to this inevitable feud is well done!

Television Title

Jay Chord vs Matt Hocking©

Since Jay's probably leaving you (I guess), this is a very good opportunity to give Matt an extremely valuable win against an extremely popular opponent. The other possible outcome would be that you've been playing us, Jay has extended his contract and you're making him a champion, but that would destroy a lot of the momentum you've built for Matt, so I find that highly unrealistic.

Joshua Taylor vs Edd Stone

I'd go for Joshua in this one, but the storyline between these two would actually largely benefit from an Edd Stone win. It would make Joshua furious and only intensify this rivalry.

Tag Titles

American Ultra vs Mighty Meaty( C )

Mo's got to make it to the main event at some point. Not now though.

Fro Sure vs Wolf Hawkins

The paper's not lying.

Total Championship Wrestling have headed south again for tonight's Total Wrestling and find themselves back in the Louisiana Auditorium for the second time in as many months. A swooping camera shot takes in the crowd as Five Finger Death Punch booms around the arena before the feed cuts to our faithful announce team: Shawn Doakes, Ernie Turner and Jasmine Saunders.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"><strong>SD:</strong> Good evening wrestling fans and welcome to what promises to be another action-packed night! We're back in the historic Louisiana Auditorium and TCW continues to be torn asunder by internal rivalries of such magnitude that the ring can barely contain them!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JS:</strong> We'll see Aaron Andrews and Wolf Hawkins in - and I can't believe I'm about to say this - a sit-down interview to discuss their upcoming match at The War To Settle The Score; the latest in a rivalry which extends back years. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ET:</strong> I'm pretty excited to see Jay Chord give the Television Title a bit of credibility by beating Matt Hocking tonight too...</div></p><p> </p><p>

As if on queue the announce team is interrupted by Jay Chord's theme music...</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="orQGI7Y.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/orQGI7Y.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p>

A confident Jay Chord swaggers down to the ring in his working gear - he has a match later tonight and looks like he's ready for it in his typical royal blue and gold half-tights. He hops over the top rope and pads around the ring on light feet for a moment or two before calling for a microphone and bringing his gaze to the hard cam. The crowd, sensing he is about to begin talking, showers him with boos. So much so that he lowers the microphone and stares around at them with a mixture of contempt and amusement on his face.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"><strong>JC:</strong> Why don't all you hicks settle down for a minute so I can say what I need to say and get out of here before the sight of you makes me physically sick?</div></p><p> </p><p>

More boos, chants of "You Suck", the works.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"><strong>JC:</strong> Some of you may have heard the rumours that my contract is up in a week's time. I'm here to address that, and address exactly what my contract situation means for TCW...</div></p><p> </p><p>

The fans settle down slightly. They hate Jay, but they also grudgingly recognise his importance to the company and his tone in this segment seems legitimate.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"><strong>JC:</strong> The reality of the situation is this: I'm too good for this place. Have been since day one. You all know it; you see it every week. I could go anywhere in the world and be a star.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The boos start up again. The crowd, sensing where this is going, are NOT happy.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"><strong>JC:</strong> But... I don't break promises. Jay Chord is a lot of things, but a liar isn't one of them. I agreed to a match with Sammy Bach at The War To Settle The Score and I'm not gonna let my employment situation cloud my responsibility to beat him within an inch of his life and leave him as a bloody little stain on the mat. Again.</p><p> </p><p>

So, here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna destroy the man you all love. Then I'm probably going to leave this company. And when I get to USPW, or SWF, or Burning Hammer, or wherever else I decide I want to go, I'm gonna cut a promo just like this one inviting all of my millions of new fans to laugh at what TCW considers to be a main event star. Because Sammy Bach is nothing but a sad imitation.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd are nuclear now, yelling all sorts of abuse at Jay. And the pop when a certain someone's music hits is deafening...</p><p> </p><p>

Sammy Bach emerges out onto the stage in his ring gear - a denim vest covered in marks and badges, tight leather pants and black boots - to a roar from the crowd but he doesn't stand on ceremony. He rushes the ring, slides under the bottom rope, ducks an attempt at a punch from Chord and begins beating the tar out of him with a flurry of right hands that Chord sells like Bach is swinging a tire iron at his head. Jay goes for a wild clothesline which Sammy counters effortlessly by ducking, and after a kick to the gut he plants Jay with his Adrenaline Shot DDT. The crowd goes nuts as Sammy poses with a raised fist over the prone form of Jay Chord, and before the feed cuts back to the announce team Sammy dips down to pick up the microphone:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ET:</strong> I don't much care for Sammy Bach interrupting me like he did...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Wolf Hawkins vs Fro Sure</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Fro Sure has found himself positioned against some of the top stars in the company since his arrival in early January and once again gets a chance to showcase his impressive athleticism as he starts things off fast after the initial lock up with a pair of arm drags and a nice looking missile drop kick that draws a pause from Wolf and applause from the crowd. After taking a step back and re-assessing, Wolf approaches his opponent more methodically and waits for an opening, which the younger man eventually gives him when he goes for a running cross body that Wolf expertly ducks.</p><p> </p><p>

Hawkins begins to expertly dismantle Fro, using his superior in-ring experience to cut off every opportunity the young man gets to rally which only serves to increase the desire the fans have to see him upset Wolf, whose cockiness begins to show. At one point Wolf is actually able to nail Fro with the Full Moon Rising but pulls up from the cover in order to exact more punishment, much to the displeasure of the fans. However, things take a turn a short while later when the match is suddenly interrupted by an unexpected event. The arena goes black, someone's music starts playing, a familiar message flashes up on the big screen...</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="YEimKCW.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YEimKCW.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p>

...and then, after thirty seconds or so the lights come back up to reveal a scarecrow in the centre of the ring, dressed up to look like Wolf Hawkins, who stares at it with mouth agape. Fro Sure recovers to go for a schoolboy and gets a close two count, reverses a brainbuster attempt into a rollup for another two count and then sunset flips over Hawkins for yet another roll up and yet another two, each time the crowd urging him on to victory. However, Wolf is finally able to recover and finally hits the desperation brainbuster to set up the Full Moon Rising which puts Fro away for the three, much to Hawkins' relief.</p><p> </p><p>

As Fro is escorted out of the ring the camera focuses on Wolf as he tosses the scarecrow aside, but his unsure expression betrays how concerned he is about whatever message this is sending.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>American Ultra vs Mighty Meaty ©</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The announcers draw attention to the fact that American Ultra have put together a really impressive run of results since their debut at Malice In Wonderland, yet this remains something of a surprise title challenge. The pair of Marv Statler and Dean Waldorf emerge in their matching burgundy trunks and boots - the only difference being that Statler wears white wrist tape and Waldorf wears kickpads - looking ready to inflict some damage. Conversely Mighty Meaty emerge to cheers from the crowd and engage in their typical amount of interaction, Tana high-fiving fans as he makes his way to the ring while Mo - in white trunks and boots - carries himself with a little more distance.</p><p> </p><p>

The two teams start things off following the script, with the Ultra technicians looking to wear down Tana with a series of stretches and holds while trying to limit the impact that both members of Mighty Meaty can have when they get momentum or the crowd behind them. At one point Tana nails a big superkick to Marv Statler but is cut off from the hot tag to Mo by Dean Waldorf who runs around the outside of the ring and pulls Mo off of the apron and running him into the ringpost, a move which Ernie Turner praises the ingenuity of. The pair then continue the punishment of Tana, hitting him with a sequence of double team moves while Mo is incapacitated.</p><p> </p><p>

Tana is eventually able to make a hot tag when he reverse an irish whip to the corner, nails Statler with a splash and Mo catches Dean Waldorf - who is attempting to interrupt the tag - in no mans land and begins to toss him around the ring like a ragdoll. The Ultra retreat to the outside to try and regroup but Mo displays surprising agility by hitting a diving plancha over the top rope. After a minute or so of brawling outside Mo rolls Statler back into the ring and hits a Hopes Fall spinebuster at the first time of asking for the victory.</p><p> </p><p>

However the interview is brought to a sudden end when someone emerges from out of sight and snatches Tana's title belt out of his hand, before setting off at a run...</p><p> </p><p>

The camera sets off at a shakey run after Mo and Tana the Mighty as they pursue the fleeing Nick Booth, following them through the backstage area, past catering tables, vending machines, crew members who are busy building something and finally into a locker room whose door is marked "Aaron Andrews". However, as the camera bursts through the door - about 10 seconds behind Mighty Meaty - the audience are greeted to a view of The Sinner Society putting the boots to the tag team champions in a well orchestrated trap.</p><p> </p><p>

Eddie Peak orchestrates the attack with a baseball hat in hand which he occasionally uses to execute a vicious looking jab into the side of the prostrate Mo while Shark, Titan and Nick Booth do the leg work. Meanwhile Floyd Goldworthy cackles with laughter and shouts encouragement from the sidelines. After a minute or so the Sinner Society push past the camera, which catches Eddie Peak removing the "Aaron Andrews" sign on the door to reveal that it was in fact the Sinner Society's locker room, before focusing on the forms of the Tag Team champions who are down and out.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Joshua Taylor vs Edd Stone</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Taylor and Stone have been trading barbs for weeks now and this match seems to be an opportunity for the two to blow off some steam, but it quickly becomes obvious that it is going to be a foul tempered affair. The two start with some chain wrestling, but after a sequence of hold reversals - which draw applause from the fans - Stone is the first to snap by striking Taylor across the face as he goes to lock up again. Taylor responds by faking out his own lock up and kicking Stone in the gut, and from there he begins to work on the abdomen.</p><p> </p><p>

Stone rallies back after a nice springboard splash onto a prone Taylor, following it up with a big Tornado DDT and a missile dropkick which sends Taylor sprawling to the outside. After he recovers, the Canadian makes the potentially unwise choice to mock his opponent by faking a dive to the outside, which visibly incenses his opponent.</p><p> </p><p>

After a brief exchange of blows in the ring Stone is able to floor Taylor with another missile dropkick and goes for his trademark shooting star press, but Taylor moves at the last second and Stone appears to badly injure his neck in the landing. Seizing on the opportunity Taylor begins to attack the injured body part, clearly in preparation for his signature Butterfly Lock. After several minutes of this the announcers draw attention to the fact that the midcard match is approaching the 20 minute time limit for matches of this type without a clear winner in sight. And as if on queue Taylor counters an irish whip into a swinging neckbreaker and cinches in his Butterfly Lock, however Stone is able to hold on until the ref calls the match as a time limit draw.</p><p> </p><p>

Following the bell Taylor looks on at the badly hurt Stone with a mixture of disappointing and what appears to be some new found respect, though he leaves the ring without a word, simply shaking his head.</p><p> </p><p>

We've convened here a few hours before the show is due to start to discuss, as calmly as possible, the prospect of these two men - Wolf Hawkins and Aaron Andrews - meeting in a singles match for the World Title at The War To Settled The Score.</p><p> </p><p>

Wolf... Ace... thank you both for joining me tonight. First things first, it has been almost seven months since we last saw you square off against one another in singles competition. Many called that match one of the greatest in TCW history. Aaron, what do you think it is about Wolf that makes him such a great foil for you?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AA:</strong> I can't sit here and say Wolf isn't a great wrestler. We all know he is. And the truth is that wrestling the best brings out the best in me.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JA:</strong> Wolf, the champion accuses you of being the best. Are you?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WH:</strong> I know how this goes. You want to keep painting me as the cocky kid who falls victim to his own over-confidence. Am I the best? Probably. But I'm not a show pony. Putting on the best matches every night only takes you so far, at some point you need gold around your waist to underline the point and the fact remains, as hard as it is for me to say, that I've never beaten Andrews when the title is on the line.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JA:</strong> You have a storied history. But a one-sided one. Three matches in the last three years, two shortly after one another, and the Ace has emerged victorious every single time. Wolf speaks of overconfidence on his part, but Andrews, I wonder, is there a risk of complacency from you here?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AA:</strong> I've never taken an opponent more seriously than I take Hawkins. I would never under-estimate him.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JA:</strong> Wolf, you've accused Andrews of slacking off, not being a fit champion. How does that response sit with you?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Hawkins laughs darkly before answering.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"><strong>WH:</strong> I don't doubt that Andrews thinks he's working hard. My only contention is that I've been at this, at the top of the card longer than he has. I know what it truly means to earn your spot up here. And while I don't doubt that he has it in him to match my commitment over short stretches - maybe a couple of months, that day-in-day-out-years-long grind is something not many can handle. I can. I don't think the same can be said for Andrews.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JA:</strong> You took a week off two weeks ago to rehab that knee injury you sustained against Joshua Taylor, Andrews. How do you respond to the accusation that you don't have it in you to deal with the grind of being champion?</div></p><p> </p><p>

Andrews snorts derisively before responding.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"><strong>AA:</strong> First off, I was <em>ordered</em> to stay home by Jack Bruce. He didn't want his champion and main money maker injured and unable to compete...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WH:</strong> Oh, "Ordered" were you?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JA:</strong> Gentlemen, please.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WH:</strong> Does a lion take orders from a sheep? You're supposed to be the goddamn champion, no one gets to tell you anything. You know how many weeks off I took on my last title reign? Zero. The one before that? Zero. If someone in a suit ordered me to stay home I would have flipped them off and showed up anyway. That's your problem, Andrews. You're too damn weak to be a true champion.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AA:</strong> You keep talking like that and you'll see how not-weak I can be, Wolf.</div></p><p> </p><p>

Both men remain seated but the air is thick with tension, with the promise that something could spark off at any moment.</p><p> </p><p>

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"><strong>JA:</strong> Ok, I think it may be time to wrap up here. Any final words from either of you?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AA:</strong> I've said all I need to say to him.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WH:</strong> I'm going to do you the courtesy of being blunt, Andrews. You deserve that. You're a hell of a wrestler. Maybe if I weren't in the company you'd be the best we have. But you don't have the drive I do. You don't know what it means to truly sacrifice for that belt. And at The War To Settle The Score I'm going to show you that there is absolutely nothing I'm not willing to do to get it back. I need that belt and it needs me, the company NEEDS me to have it, because you aren't getting the job done. Maybe in five years you will, but not now. And I'm not going to sit here and wait for you to figure out how a champion acts. In two weeks I'm going to show you, and if you're smart you'll try to learn something from the lesson I'm going to teach you.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The atmosphere chills as an icy silence stretches out between them.</p><p> </p><p>

Wolf, Andrews, thank you both for your time. And to you at home: we'll see you at The War To Settle The Score.</div></p><p> </p><p>

The camera cuts back to the wide shot of all three men sat in tense silence as the screen fades to black.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jay Chord vs Matt Hocking © </strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

As Matt Hocking and Jay Chord get set to square up one gets the sense that Chord isn't taking the bout all that seriously, meanwhile Hocking seems laser focused (by his own flamboyant standards at least). The end result being that in the early match Chord struggles to get to grips with Hocking's agile offense but plays it off as if he doesn't care, fooling no one.</p><p> </p><p>

Early on Hocking puts Chord on his back with a nice flying head scissors before following up with a snug running front dropkick, and Chord's only response is to roll out of the ring to chastise himself. This seems to be the wake-up call that Chord needed however, as he immediately shows his own teeth by flooring Hocking with a clothesline and then raking his face with his boot in a hold which referee Ray Johnson allows despite it clearly being illegal.</p><p> </p><p>

After suffering from a series of moves on the ground which flirt with breaking the rules when they aren't outright against them Hocking is able to rally back when he powers out of a facelock and sends Chord flying with a big back drop.Hocking appears to be gaining the upper hand when he hits his signature running bulldog but the momentum swings again when Chord pushes the referee in the way of a flying forearm attempt, taking him out of action.</p><p> </p><p>

Jay takes the opportunity to lay into Hocking with all manner of illegal strikes and holds, but his opponent is able to go toe-to-toe with Jay until Troy Tornado appears from the crowd in a tight white t-shirt and black skinny jeans to tip the scale. Hocking doesn't see him coming and succumbs to a brutal chair shot to the back as he bounces off of the ropes as a result. Chord takes full advantage by nailing a cradle piledriver on Hocking and a groggy Ray Johnson makes the three count.</p><p> </p><p>

However, as Jay celebrates in the centre of the ring (though, crucially, before he has been handed the title) a second referee - Charles Hapstander rushes down to the ring and engages in a heated conversation with Ray Johnson, appearing to point to the crowd and make the motion of swinging a chair with his hands. The conversation continues for over a minute before both men confer with the ring announcer and Matt Hocking's hand is raised in victory via disqualification due to Tornado's interference.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Aaron Andrews vs Greg Gauge</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Andrews and Gauge have never squared up in singles competition before this evening and it marks an enormous opportunity for Gauge, who has responded to the loss of his Television Title with strong form and a major push towards the main event scene. And that fact that he is a threat to be respected is clear in Andrews' early performance as the man in the right tights with "ACE" emblazoned on them approaches Gauge cautiously and without confidence. Gauge takes advantage, using Andrews' trepidation against him to manipulate the World Champion into disadvantageous scenarios. In one such instance Gauge tricks Andrews into a running move in the corner and responds with a Tarantula hold followed by a series of punishing strikes to his mid-section once he has released it.</p><p> </p><p>

It becomes clear that Andrews needs to amend his game plan to deal with the calculating, technical excellence of the Ice Man and it takes the crowd getting behind him for this to happen as once again the Ace turns to his fans to give him the fire he needs to overcome an opponent. Siphoning that energy from them he responds with a series of running strikes, a big belly to belly suplex and then a release German suplex which Gauge sells brilliantly by appearing to spike his own neck.</p><p> </p><p>

The pair go back and forth again with Gauge beginning to work the Ace's leg in preparation for the Proton Lock while his opponent continues to fire back with strikes and grapples, with the key moment of the match coming when Andrews is able to withstand the Proton Lock for over a minute before turning over and reversing the pressure onto Gauge - who is eventually able to escape the hold himself. However, the damage is done and Andrews is able to land a snap suplex and quickly mount the turnbuckle for the Into The Blue cross body which is enough to put Gauge away.</p><p> </p><p>

The show goes off the air, as it often has done in recent months, with the close up image of a battered Aaron Andrews holding his World Title aloft.</p><p> </p><p>

And of course, without further delay, it's time for our prediction score rundown!

christmas_ape: 4/5

Herrbear: 4/5

Xendarii: 4/5

So it's a three way tie with only the draw between Taylor and Stone fooling anyone (though the fans definitely weren't happy with a couple of the screwy finishes on this show). Gauge is great but he's not quite ready to be beating the Ace and while I have high hopes for Fro Sure I don't think Wolf would be very happy doing the job for him!

Good job to all three of you. A limited edition Eddie Peak teddy bear (with red food colouring sachets for when you want it to blade included!) will be with you all shortly.

Jay Chord Contract Stories Rumble On

orQGI7Y.png

February 21st 2020 - Eye On The Ring, Konrad Douglas

Another week, another story about Jay Chord's ongoing contract negotiations at TCW. At present both parties are keeping their cards very close to their chest as to what is being offered or where things stand, but reports out of SWF and USPW suggest that both companies have tabled lucrative offers for the 29 year old who is without a doubt one of the hottest free agents the industry has seen in several years, perhaps since Rocky Golden.

Jack Bruce appears willing to let the contract situation appear publically with Jay not only appearing on TCW TV but actively making his contract part of his ongoing feud with Sammy Bach. Bruce was not available for comment when we reached out to him, but he must either be very confident that Chord is going to re-sign or so narrative-focused that he doesn't mind hurting the business in the pursuit of a good storyline. Either way, Chord's heat will be at nuclear levels in 2 weeks time at The War To Settle The Score.

PPV Preview: The War To Settle The Score

pG6Rfpc.jpg

TCW's streak of excellent shows looks set to continue with The War To Settle The Score in two weeks time, with a number of hot storylines to look forward to. As is tradition, the show will feature nothing but singles matches which tends to produce some really interesting results.

Obviously the pick of the bunch is Wolf Hawkins and Aaron Andrews squaring off once again for the Ace's World Title. The two last met in Wolf Hawkins' title rematch the month after he lost the belt to Andrews at Summer Showdown and fans appear to be clamouring for the two to go at it again. Wolf cuts a more focused figure this time around with Andrews bringing his typical L.A. swagger to the match and the pair are expected to produce gold again.

Sammy Bach and Jay Chord's blood feud has shown no signs of slowing down. The pair can go from sitting down to sign contracts with GM Jack Bruce one week to jumping each other the next; they truly despise one another. And with matters complicated by Chord's ongoing contract dispute their First Blood match at the pay-per-view promises to be an ill-tempered affair.

We're expecting to see two midcard feuds come to a head at The War To Settle The Score too, with Edd Stone and Joshua Taylor surely squaring off to decide who is the better man (hopefully without a time limit this time) and Troy Tornado has involved himself in the matches of Television Champion Matt Hocking in recent weeks which is surely going to come back to haunt him. Expect to see all four in action at the pay-per-view.

The feud between Tag Team Champions Mighty Meaty and Eddie Peak's Sinner Society has quietly rumbled on for months now, producing several exciting undercard matches, and word coming out of TCW is that both Mo and Tana will be in singles action at the show, presumably against Eddie Peak and one other.

And finally, we've received news that both Fro Sure and Jackson Laine will have singles matches on the main show proper. Both of these young men have made promising starts to their TCW careers and this is an enormous opportunity for both of them.

TCW are back in their adopted home of Texas tonight with another show from the historic Ranch of San Antonio arena, and as a wide angle sweeping shot takes in the crowd we are greeted, as always, by the familiar voices of our announce team: Shawn Doakes, Ernie Turner and Jasmine Saunders.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">

SD: Ladies and gentlemen: we are less than one week out from The War To Settle The Score, where legends will be made and historic feuds will come to a head but here, tonight - deep in the heart of Texas - we have a show which promises to take us to a near boiling point. Our World Champion: Aaron Andrews, teams up with One Man Army and the exciting Fro Sure to face a selection of his old Syndicate rivals, Matt Hocking will defend his Television Title against Marc Speed and both Sammy Bach and Wolf Hawkins will be in singles action.

ET: All in all, one hell of a show. Wolf has been on a tear recently and he'll be glad to be in the main event once again, even if that means sharing the stage with someone as lacking in work ethic as Edd Stone.

JS: Stone's form this month has been impressive himself: a tag victory over Wolf and taking a man who last month was competing for the World Title to a time limit draw. Not bad at all.

ET: Stone needs to show a bit more of that attitude of old - that we saw some of last week - if he's ever truly going to be taken seriously.

SD: Tellingly, Jay Chord is absent from the run-sheet tonight. We don't even know if he's here.

ET: He won't be if he knows what's good for him. He's a marked man in TCW.

JS: His contract situation rumbles on with no sign of abating. The reality is that his First Blood match with Sammy Bach may be his final match in TCW.

SD: First up, the Ace will marshall One Man Army and Fro Sure in what promises to be an exciting opener against The Syndicate...</div>

Aaron Andrews, One Man Army & The Syndicate (Doc Hammond, Eddie Chandler & Nate Johnson)

The focus in the opener is on whether or not Fro Sure will be able to keep up with the veterans in the ring, and for their part both Andrews and OMA do a great job of really helping to hype the crowd about Fro Sure, who takes a leaf from Japanese wrestling by gently pushing his team mates into their corner and insisting that he start things off against Doc Hammond. The youngster isn't just there to make up the numbers though and he ensures that Doc Hammond realises that quickly with some high tempo roughneck offense to get things started. The Doc can only try to survive the storm of offense and is eventually forced to tag in Eddie Chandler, who discovers his own struggles against Fro before tagging in his Elite partner Nate Johnson, who experiences the same. Eventually the Syndicate members insist they want either OMA or Andrews in the ring and a smiling Fro obliges by tagging in The Ace.

Andrews slows things down a little, getting into a chain wrestling contest with the technicians of Doc and Eddie Chandler, where he demonstrates himself to be the better man, before the tag team wiles of The Elite begin to play a part - Andrews is repeatedly bludgeoned from behind in double teams that eventually sap him of his energy. The Syndicate's willingness to bend the rules frustrates the fans and the Ace's partners - who are reduced to sideline players - in equal measure., and on several occasions OMA actually allows their opponents to attack Andrews further by remonstrating with the referee, which causes Ray Johnson to turn his back on their indiscretions.

After several minutes of punishing technical and aerial offense from The Elite and Hammond Andrews is able to counter a running splash attempt from Johnson into a Gut Check which gangs the Elite member up on the ropes, floors the onrushing Eddie Chandler with a missile drop kick and then dives for the corner with his last bit of energy to get the hot tag to One Man Army, who charges in, steam-rolling opponents left and right. After flattening Chandler (again) he and Hammond get into a slug-fest in the centre of the ring, trading forearms and punches as the fans roar their approval of the two New Wave men getting to trade blows with one another. Andrews is recovered enough to nail an Into The Blue onto Nate Johnson while Fro hits his Sure Thing cutter on Eddie Chandler, and after OMA clotheslines Hammond over the top rope he charges back across the ring and nails the Guided Missile on Nate Johnson (who is well and truly out of it at this point) for the pinfall.

by Breaking Benjamin

The three men celebrate in the ring while Guide's theme music - "Blood" by Breaking Benjamin - booms around the ranch, Aaron Andrews calls for a microphone and waits a moment longer for the crowd to settle down. Fro and One Man Army climb out of the ring as the Ace begins addressing them.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">AA: It's five days until The War To Settle The Score. Five days until TCW puts on a showcase that will, once again, force the wrestling world to sit up and take notice of us. And whether it's me putting the Wolf down once again to retain my World Title, or Sammy showing Jay Chord what it means to be disloyal to this company, or any of the other amazing matches we're set to see one thing is for sure: TCW is the fastest rising promotion in wrestling at the moment. And I'd be doing all of you here a disservice if I didn't take a second to acknowledge that it's all because of you. You fill these seats, you chant our names, you give me the energy to stand back up and keep fighting when every muscle in my body is screaming at me to stay down. And for that, I have to thank you all.</div>

The crowd cheers their approval and chants Andrews' name. The ace grins and runs a taped hand through his sandy blonde hair.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">AA: But enough of that schmaltzy stuff. I can't think of a better way to say thank you to the fans for sticking with us, with me, through all of the ups and downs that TCW have had over the years than by beating Wolf's ass on Sunday. We're gonna trade blows, we're going to go toe to toe, and when it's all said and done I'm going to climb that top rope, I'm gonna nail him with the Into The Blue and when the smoke clears Aaron Andrews will be standing in front of you all. Still, your World Champion.

Wolf doubts my credentials. Thinks I take this too lightly, that I don't have the grit or fighting spirit to really be a long-term champion. But Sunday will mark six months since I won this, six months of digging out victories against some of the most accomplished wrestlers in this company. And I don't intend to stop there. I will face anyone for this belt, any time. If there's someone back there who thinks they have what it takes to take me on then they can name a time and a place and I'll be there. Wolf has forgotten what it feels like to lose to me, but on Sunday I'm going to beat him so badly that he wont have that luxury in future.</div>

More cheers from the crowd.

And to Wolf: the World will be watching you lose to me. And that's really gonna sting, man.</div>

Andrews drops the microphone and goes to join Fro and OMA on the outside of the ring, and the trio walk back up the rank as Andrews theme begins playing them off.

Marc Speed vs Matt Hocking ©

Matt Hocking appears - as he often does - confident as he strides to the ring in his white and gold long tights and cape. Marc Speed has been an intermittent figure on TCW TV in recent weeks which perhaps contributes to this, yet the former MMA fighter is still regarded as one of the most legitimately dangerous men in America and the fans seem to know that even if Hocking doesn't.

At points after the first bell it appears as though Hocking's over-confidence could finally get the better of him here as Speed is able to keep a cool head to ignore all of Hockings' typical taunts and feints while slowly breaking the Television champion down with a series of takedowns. However, Hocking has seemed determined to prove his doubters - least of all Troy Tornado - wrong in recent weeks and is eventually able to land a flying head scissors followed by a nice side kick to swing the momentum of the match. Speed rallies back against the champ's athletic offense with some nice-looking striking but ultimately it isn't enough. Hocking floors a Boston Crab attempt into a springboard, nails Speed with a flying forearm and then hits the Hock Shock elbow drop for the win.

At ringside, a sweaty but happy Matt Hocking is briefly questioned by Jasmine Saunders, who has temporarily left the announce table to interview him.

Hocking laughs and shifts the title on his shoulder.

He can interfere in as many of my matches as he likes; it won't make him one iota more relevant to the modern TCW.

JS: So your response to his attack on you last week is to not respond?

MH: Oh no, I'll respond. Troy will get his opportunity to get in the ring with me and learn a thing or two on Sunday. But it won't be for a belt. It won't be for anything, because he doesn't deserve that. If he can beat me at The War, well, maybe he can have a few scraps from my table. Maybe. But that's an awfully big "If".

JS: Thanks for your time, Matt. Enjoy your victory and see you on Sunday.</div>

Hocking nods, shifts the belt on his shoulder once again and then swaggers back up the ramp.

American Ultra (Marv Statler & Dean Waldorf) VS Human Arsenal & Flying Jimmy Foxx

In what is effectively a moderately competitive squash match, American Ultra prove that they deserved their title shot against Mighty Meaty last week with a domineering performance that proves they are one of the hottest new tag teams in TCW.

As a former member of both The Machines and The Syndicate, Human Arsenal is famous for his own technical expertise, yet he is dismantled by Marv Statler and Dean Waldorf in uncompromising fashion while his partner Jimmy Foxx is effectively neutralised from using any of his flying offense by the ring smarts of the Ultra. After several minutes of brutal submission holds of varying levels of legality Arsenal is eventually put out of his misery with the Wheelbarrow Bomb, and - while Statler disposes of Jimmy - Waldorf makes the cover for a deserved pinfall victory. The show goes to an ad break with American Ultra celebrating over the beaten forms of their opponents, much to the displeasure of the fans in attendance.

The show returns with the camera fixed on the ring, where someone is scheduled to speak...

by Vo Williams

With a big pop from the crowd, the Tag Champions Mighty Meaty - Mighty Mo and Tana the Mighty - appear to the thumping bass line of their theme song, Mo in a black tank top and dark jeans, Tana in a patterned silk shirt and white shorts. Both have a microphone in one hand and a tag title in the other, which makes their signature ring entrance - where they pause at ringside, nod to one another, then Tana slides under the bottom rope while Mo leaps up onto the apron and over the top rope before they pose together in the ring - all the more impressive.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">TM: Boy, there sure are a lot of you here...</div>

The fans cheer Tana's own personal brand of playing dumb.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">MM: Welcome, once again, to the hottest ticket in town. Let me ask you, TCW: are you ready?</div>

The crowd roars their approval, knowing what is coming.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">MM: Well then...

BOTH: LET'S. GET. MIGHTY.</div>

At each word both Tana and Mo make exaggerated muscle poses like Power Rangers, ending with Tana forming a kind of standing 'Y' shape behind Mo, who himself is doing a kind of squatting bicep flex. It's a weird image, and one the fans love. They hold it for several seconds before carrying on like nothing just happened.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">MM: We've had a bad time with the Sinner Society as of late...

TM: Real bad.

MM: They take our belts, attack us from behind, generally behave like asses.

TM: Generally.

MM: And all for what? Because they're sad that their Behemoth boys lost the tag titles?

TM: They're embarrassed, Mo.

MM: You think they're embarrassed, T?

TM: That I do.

MM: Well why don't we ask them? Peak, we know you and your little friends are back there, hopefully in a correctly labelled dressing room this time. Why don't you come on out so we can talk about this like grown ups?</div>

The crowd waits with baited breath for the best part of a minute before finally, inevitably, Eddie Peak and the Sinner Society - Titan, Killer Shark, Nick Booth and Floyd Goldworthy - make their appearance...

Peak is first out onto the stage in his usual stonewashed jeans and torn, stained white t-shirt. Behind him come the Behemoths- Titan and Killer Shark - in matching red and black trunks with their manager Floyd Goldworthy in tow, and finally the skulking figure of Nick Booth in attire which seems like it is designed to copy Peak. Peak raises a mic to his mouth, giggles and rakes a hand over his eyes.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">EP: You guys still talk so darn much. SO darn much. It's bad for you, I thought we'd established that? Do we need to teach you another lesson?

MM: You can certainly try. You might find it more of a challenge when you don't get to attack us from behind though.

EP: Oh, you think we can only teach lessons when we're being sneaky-sneaky? Hahaha. That's funny. So funny.

</div>

Peak is, notably, not actually laughing while he says this. Neither are either of Mighty Meaty whose stern faces mark a departure from their earlier attitude.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">EP: Listen, if that's what it's going to take to get you two noisy babies to settle down then you can pick any one of us and we can have a little fight. Do some settling in the ring. It'll be a gentlemanly, honourable affair, scout's honour.

TM: I'll believe that when I see it.</div>

Peak's face darkens and behind him The Behemoths growl and take a step forward.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">EP: Pick your poison...</div>

Neither of Mighty Meaty miss a beat.

MM: You, Eddie.</div>

Eddie Peak throws his head back and laughs maniacally.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">EP: Bold choices boys. Oooh how bold. Can't wait 'til Sunday. Just can't wait.</div>

Both sets of competitors seem like they're prepared for things to escalate. Tana the Mighty sits on the second rope and invites the Sinner Society into the ring while Mo cracks his knuckles, and on the stage Floyd Goldworthy struggles to hold back both Titan and Shark. In the end however Peak barks an order that the mics don't catch and the Sinner Society turn and depart as quickly as they came, leaving Mighty Meaty staring after them in the ring.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">Rating: 69</div>

<div style="font-size:0px; height:1px; width:900px; background-color:#000;"></div>

JS: About time if you ask me. Mo taking on Peak is a chance for someone to finally shut that over-grown child up,a long overdue opportunity.

ET: Or maybe Mo will be the one getting taken down a peg or two. You don't want to pick fights with the kid who pulls legs off of spiders for fun.

SD: And what do you both think Wolf's response to Aaron Andrews' promo will be later tonight? The gauntlet hasn't been thrown so much as it has been spiked into the ground in recent weeks, and this marks the latest in a long list of verbal barbs the two have traded.

JS: You have to imagine that Wolf will respond...

ET: I'm certain he will.

JS: ... and interesting that there's still been no sign of Jay Chord tonight.

ET: Can't say I miss him.

SD: Well, if he were to appear then it would be during our next match as his perennial rival Sammy Bach takes on Freddy Huggins in singles action. Let's get to it!</div>

Sammy Bach VS Freddy Huggins

The commentary team draw attention to the fact that Freddy Huggins is still yet to win a match in 2020, something the hot crowd is more than happy to remind him of as the match gets under-way. Huggins, in lilac trunks and boots, cuts a slightly ridiculous figure as he demands the referee control the crowd while delaying the start of the match. Eventually Sammy decides he has had enough and roughly whips Huggins into a corner where he starts putting the boots to him. Huggins flops around the ring like a fish out of water, selling like mad for Bach's attacks, until eventually he dives behind the referee Charles Hapstander and begins to loudly complain that Bach used a closed fist. The ref and Bach get into it and Huggins uses this as an opportunity to attack his opponent from behind, bludgeoning him to the floor and then bashing his head into an exposed turnbuckle after removing the padding. Bach, whose head is still taped up to prevent the cut he sustained at Malice In Wonderland from re-opening, begins to bleed slightly and Ernie Turner on the announce team sounds like he is going to have a heart attack as he points this out. If Bach bleeds on Sunday, TCW not only loses the turncoat Jay Chord but also any credibility it has as a company where stars come to succeed.

The bloodied Bach fights back with a nice sequence of suplexes and a beautiful poisoned frankensteiner - reminiscent of his younger days - and as the momentum, begins to swing the camera feeds cuts to backstage...

orQGI7Y.png

...where a seething Jay Chord stands with crossed arms watching the match on a monitor. At the sight of another move from Bach he turns as if to leave the room (and, presumably, head to the ring) when a voice calls him up short. The camera pans...

Chord looks over his shoulder, sneers and then returns to watching the monitor. The camera cuts back to the ring, where Bach has Huggins in a Mexican Surfboard stretch which the fans applaud. Huggins escapes, and catches a kick attempt but Bach turns it into a nice back-heeled enziguri, then after a short back-and-forth of blows counters a piledriver attempt by sweeping Huggins' legs and applying the Bach On Your Back for the submission win.

Edd Stone vs Wolf Hawkins

Edd Stone makes his way to the ring in his usual Adidas tracksuit bottoms and hi-tops but his face looks a little nervous and betrays his relaxed-looking attire. This is probably the biggest singles match in his career so far, and everyone in the arena knows it. Wolf, by comparison, looks calm and collected as he struts through fog streaked with green lasers in his black tights and white boots. If Aaron Andrews earlier words have had an effect on him then he is not making it apparent.

And as the pair lock up it becomes quickly clear that Stone's nerves are going to play a factor. He makes poor choices, going high-risk when he should be playing it safe, playing it safe when he should be going in to do some damage, and all the while Wolf continues to dismantle his opponent with a calculated mixture of holds, strikes and suplexes. Stone gets in burst of offense which give the fans hope that he may yet be able to rally, but each opportunity to mount a sustained offense is cut-off almost immediately by Wolf, who seems far more seasoned than his one extra year of experience would suggest.

Stone begins lashing out in frustration, shoving the referee away when he is admonished for refusing to break a hold until forced to do so, and although the fans enjoy watching the 24 Hour Party Animal show a little of his mean streak on Hawkins there is a pronounced air of anxiety as they realise that Stone may be turning to a darker path in order to succeed here. Why the sudden change in character? What has caused this? It's hard to say, but Stone begins to see more success as he becomes more and more willing to break the rules. Frustratingly for him, however, Wolf Hawkins didn't get to the summit of professional wrestling by being beaten by a few minor rule indiscretions and he is able to counter a neckbreaker attempt into his signature brainbuster out of almost nowhere, setting up the Full Moon Rising for the three count. Stone is clearly furious, with himself and perhaps also with the fans who are questioning him, as he walks to the back while Wolf celebrates in the ring...

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">Rating: 82

...but Hawkins celebrations are cut short as the arena goes dark, a familiar theme song starts playing and a familiar message flashes up on the screens...

YEimKCW.png

by Rob Zombie

However, this time the "Book of John" message cuts to an image of a scarecrow on the big screen; the same scarecrow which was appeared in the middle of Wolf's match with Fro Sure last week. The image lingers, then, after twenty seconds or so it becomes abundantly clear that this is not a still image, because the scarecrow raises its head and stares at the camera.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">??: The book compels me, Wolf, to ask you: what you have done with your power? And what will you do, I wonder, when I strip it from you? Behold the book, Wolf, and all who follow it, for my truth dwells within its pages and so too shall yours.</div>

The scarecrow emits a deep, croaky laugh and the feed cuts to black, and when the lights in the arena come back on the only thing anyone can focus on is the image of a stunned Wolf Hawkins in the middle of the ring, staring up at the now blank screen above the ramp.

Really enjoyed the go home show, the book of john angle continues to be interesting! I'm thinking perhaps something will happen in the main event regarding it, so I can't pick Wolf to win.

Jay I'm picking because I'm guessing the leaving angle is a swerve, but I might be wrong!

Noooooo, I missed the last predictions! Dangit! Anyway, two great shows! I'm really curious to see what this scarecrow story will lead to, and I like how you develop your major draws right now. The pay-per-view is going to be a great one!

TCW World Heavyweight Championship

Wolf Hawkins vs Aaron Andrews ©

Wolf's got a fresh storyline ahead of him that won't require him to have the title.

First Blood Match

Sammy Bach vs Jay Chord

Banking on Chord signing a new contract with you.

Maverick vs Jackson Laine

Killer Shark vs Tana The Mighty

Tana is the one you want to lose one of these two matches.

Fro Sure vs Chris Flynn

Joshua Taylor vs Edd Stone

Feels like you've got something in store for Edd, but if you really want to turn him heel, and that's how it feels like, and set up his frustration as the reason, he needs to lose this match as well.

Matt Hocking vs Troy Tornado

Hocking rocks!

Eddie Peak vs Mighty Mo

Give that guy a main event push!

As the opening video package fades to black the screen is filled with two full-screen animated characters clashing like a Mortal Kombat versus screen as the ticking clock of Atreyu's "The Time Is Now" blasts around the arena in downtown San Francisco. The TCW fans are out in force tonight, over forty thousand of them, packed into the venue to see a set of clashes that could have a seismic effect on the landscape of the company.

The camera sweeps across the fans before the feed cuts to our announce team for the evening - Jason Azaria, Ernie Turner and Jasmine Saunders - who are ready to talk us through tonight's action.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">JA: Hello and welcome to San Francisco, California, where the men who will compete in this ring will be leaving more than their hearts tonight.

ET: Oh brother.

JS: Quiet you.

JA: Titles will be won and lost tonight, careers will be made or - perhaps - shortened forever. Blood, sweat and tears will stain the mat. Tonight is the night for the superstars of TCW to settle the score. If this is your first time with us then allow me to issue you, and the thousands of people around the world like you, a warm welcome to the best wrestling in this hemisphere. If not, well, you know what you're in for. Welcome, one and all, to The War To Settle The Score.

ET: I have goosebumps.

JS: He's Ernie Turner, I'm Jasmine Saunders, flanking the legendary Jason Azaria. It's our pleasure to call tonight's action for you. First up will be a match several months in the making with Mighty Mo looking to finally get his hands on the devious leader of the Sinner Society: Eddie Peak.

ET: I can't imagine many people willingly getting into the ring with Peak. The man is dangerous.

JA: Right you are, ET. The man who refers to himself as "Subject Zero" is as unhinged now as he ever was.

JS: And later on tonight we will see a cavalcade of stars clashing in titanic contests of will. Matt Hocking will face Troy Tornado to try and put their war of egos to bed, Edd Stone will once again get the opportunity to frustrate Joshua Taylor - or perhaps the TCW veteran will finally get the better of the party animal. And of course we can't forget the blood feud between Sammy Bach and Jay Chord which will be settled tonight.

ET: And Wolf will be winning the World Title. Let's not ignore that little fact.

JA: Winning? Who can say? But one thing is for sure: we are in for a classic when Wolf Hawkins and Aaron Andrews clash in that ring tonight!</div>

The commentary team turn their attention to the entrance way as Mighty Mo's entrance music begins playing, signalling the start of tonight's action.

Eddie Peak VS Mighty Mo

Eddie Peak is one of the few people in the company that Mighty Mo has to actually look up at, and while he is no longer the absolute roughneck powerhouse he was ten years ago he has more than made up for his declining physical skills with a cunning mind and a mean streak a mile wide.

Peak is in his typical blue jeans and tattered white vest for this one, while Mo strikes the more professional figure in white trunks, boots and kneepads. The question on everyone's mind as the two approach each other in the centre of the ring is: what kind of match will this be? Is it going to be a drag-out brawl or will Peak be forced into a wrestling match with Mo. This is quickly answered when Peak offers a clearly sarcastic handshake, Mo slaps the hand away and Peak responds by trying a slap across the face. Mo is too fast, weaves back and then uses Peaks momentum to spin him around and plant him with an enormous release german suplex. Peak roars back to his feet and charges but is met with a drop toe hold, charges again, misses a clothesline and is hit with a nice pendulum backbreaker. Furious, he rolls out of the ring to collect himself while the fans chant their approval at Mo.

After exchanging some verbal barbs the match is resumed and it immediately becomes clear that Peak is not going to play fair - to the surprise of no one. He halts Mo's momentum with a series of dirty moves - an eye poke, a low blow, anything he can get away with to stop Mo from building up a head of steam. Matters are compounded when referee Charles Hapstander is wiped out by an 'accidental' running avalanche from Peak and a minute or so later Nick Booth swaggers to ring side in a black t-shirt with sunglasses on. The crowd greet his arrival with more boos.

Mo fights back against Peak but it appears the numbers game is going to be too much for him. Every time he is able to overcome Peak's cheating he is instead hamstrung by that of Booth, and vice versa. An opportunity to nail a running move is interrupted when Booth grabs his leg as he bounces off of the ropes, but Mo is able to turn the situation to his advantage as he ducks the blindside attempt from Peak, sending him stumbling over the top rope and directly into his stablemate. Hapstander, who has by this point begun to recover, has seen enough and gives Nick Booth the universal "You're OUTTA there" signal, much to the fans approval. Peak, unsurprisingly, is furious. But he doesn't have long to remonstrate with the ref before Mo has rolled under the bottom rope to meet him outside. The pair brawl towards the announce tables and then - in the highlight of the match - Mo displays superhuman strength by catching an attempt at a flying axe handle of the apron from Peak and turning it into a devastating Hopes Fall spinebuster that actually plants Peak through the barricade between the ringside and the fans.

Peak is clearly out of it as he is rolled back into the ring, swinging tamely and clumsily at Mo, who ducks and evades the blows expertly before nailing another Hopes Fall in the middle of the ring for the pinfall victory.

Mo's theme music booms through the PA system as a dazed Eddie Peak is helped to the back by Nick Booth, who has re-emerged from whatever dark corner he was skulking in. Not done, Mo breaks up his celebration to call for a microphone and goes to lean on the top rope as he watches his opponent limp up the ramp.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">MM: Nice try, Peak. Seems like you just aint about much anymore. But listen, me and Tana are nothing if not charitable. So listen up: you, your boy there and those two lumps in the back - if Shark can still wrestle once Tana is finished with him later - got yourselves an opponent for Battleground. But, if you lose, you lose control of the Sinner Society. It's done with.

You want another match to see if you can finally actually beat us in the ring? Well those are our terms.</div>

A camera man gets a close-up shot of Peak's face, spit dribbling through the sandy beard hair on his chin, as he roars "YOU'RE ON" back up at Mo, whose theme music starts up once again.

Matt Hocking VS Troy Tornado

After a short promo package for the upcoming matches tonight the next match is ready to get underway: Hocking debuts a royal purple and gold ring attire with a matching cape while Troy Tornado sticks to his typical navy short tights.

The match itself is largely a story of Troy selling Hocking's high-flying offense while trying to find a way to get his own shots in, but in reality much of Tornado's input in the match is psychological. Complaining to the referee, straightening his hair and taunting the fans after countering a Hocking backdrop attempt with a kick and a clothesline. Tornado isn't as fast as he once was, but he can still work a crowd like nobody's business.

The match swings Troy's way when he counters a top-rope move from Hocking into a jawbreaker and then begins targeting his neck in preparation for a Star Maker. However, Hocking has had Tornado's number for much of the last month and once again proves to be his match, reversing a superplex attempt by flipping out of it, nailing a huge super backdrop and then finishing the sequence with a Hock Shock from the top rope for the three count.

As Hocking celebrates his ring in typical cool fashion a dejected Troy staggers to the back, waved on by the "Shocking" superstar who leads the jeering.

Joshua Taylor VS Edd Stone

The quality matches are starting to come thick and fast now and the fans are eating it up. Taylor vs Stone may be a match they saw for free on TV a few weeks ago, but they have yet to see a conclusive winner for this one and there is a sense in the audience that these two men may be passing each other on their respective ways up and down the card. Stone feels like he is going somewhere, while Taylor feels like a million miles away from the man who had a World Title shot a little over a month ago. In fact, so pronounced is the feeling that Taylor is in dire straights at the moment that the fans find it hard to boo him as the match gets underway, a situation made only more complicated by a seeming reluctance on Taylor's part to resort to the underhanded tactics that he employed against Aaron Andrews.

Stone, for his part, is all too willing to do what it takes to win. The 24 Hour Party animal is laid back and casual on the exterior, but he still wants to win, and the match opens with several minutes of vicious striking and holds from the Canadian. Taylor is able to use his technical skill to escape most of these situations but it is obvious that he is wrestling more defensively than he should be and this opens up opportunities for Stone to attempt more high risk offense, a tactic which begins to pay off. Taylor is struck with a nice springboard front dropkick and then is caught on the turnbuckle where Stone plants him with a big super hurricanrana, which the fans pop for.

Taylor rallies behind a series of quick suplexes, including a great-looking northern lights to produce a near fall but is stalled when Vita - Edd Stone's valet gets caught between the two as they begin to brawl on the outside. Taylor checks on her, more out of frustration than compassion and is blindsided by a huge springboard splash from the ring by Stone. He is never able to recover from this; Stone gets a couple of near falls of his own before finally putting Taylor away with a poisoned frankensteiner followed by the Party's Over and the pin. As he celebrates in the ring Vita is checked by EMTs at ringisde, though Stone doesn't seem too concerned. Meanwhile, a clearly frustrated and disappointed Joshua Taylor slowly gets back to his feet...

...and, as Stone descends from his celebrations on the turnbuckle while his theme music blares, cautiously offers a hand. The fans applaud the gesture - a return to the no-nonsense Joshua Taylor of old who simply wrestled well and left the politics and scheming to others. Stone looks down at the outstretched gesture of respect with his usual unreadable expression, something between disinterest and disdain. What feels like minutes pass without a response before Stone laughs cruelly, shakes his head and pushes Taylor in the chest before turning to leave the ring.

Joshua Taylor puts his hands on his hips and exhales disappointedly as he watches Edd Stone walk back up the ramp.

Fro Sure VS Chris Flynn

After a short ad break the announcers welcome the fans back with the promise of seeing some talented youngsters in action in the next few matches; first up being the highly rated Fro Sure. In what is really a chance for Fro to showcase himself against low-level opposition, both men are still able to make this an entertaining affair with Flynn's penchant for muscle posing and power spots complimenting Fro's more dynamic offense fairly well.

After some classic back and forth wrestling which sees Fro work evasively to stay away from the stronger man, the match comes to life when he is able to hit a great looking rebound suplex on Flynn followed by a set of stiff punches which send his opponent reeling back to the corner. A stunned Flynn is subjected to the Sure Thing rolling cutter as he staggers back out from the turnbuckle and is unable to kick out of the subsequent pin attempt.

Killer Shark VS Tana The Mighty

Shark and Tana aren't famed for their quick-paced wrestling and, to the surprise of no one, this ends up being an affair of power moves and brawling set at a pace that both men can cope with. Tana - ever the entertainer - keeps the fans invested with his trademark combination of comedy spots and smack-talking and they respond positively, right up until the point where Killer Shark snaps and flattens Tana with a huge corner splash. It's rare to see someone as big as Tana engulfed by another opponent, but the 400+lbs of muscle that Shark brings to this match is able to do it.

After being subjected to several minutes of rest holds and punishing ground offense Tana is able to make his comeback when he hits his signature belly-to-belly suplex but is cut off when Titan sprints down the ramp...

6eKbZZR.png

...steps up onto the apron and clocks the Samoan across the back of the head as he bounces over the ropes. The distraction proves to be enough, as when Tana turns around he is met with a boot to the gut and hoisted up onto Shark's shoulders for the Big Bite and the win.

As The Behemoths celebrate together a frustrated and battered Tana appears to be complaining to referee Ray Johnson, who doesn't seem to understand what has happened.

Julian Watson VS Jackson Laine

After another short video package promoting the matches still to come tonight the action returns with another young prospect making an appearance on the show: the entertaining Jackson Laine is given a chance to showcase his abilities against the veteran grappler Julian Watson. Jackson, in orange and black tights and matching sunglasses as he heads down the ramp, looks ready to record a first pay-per-view victory of his TCW career.

It quickly becomes clear that Laine has more than enough about him to dominate Watson: he is stronger, faster and has the fans on his side. For his part, Watson is able to occasionally slow down Jackson's momentum with his usual arsenal of stretches and painful-looking holds, but ultimately it is nowhere near enough to contain the raw energy and surprising power of Laine. After powering out of a sleeper hold he sends Watson to the ropes and drops him with an enormous lunging clothesline before picking him up in the Death Spiral for the victory.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">Rating: 51

<div style="font-size:0px; height:1px; width:900px; background-color:#000;"></div>

As the ring is cleared of competitors we once again return to our announce team to run through what we have seen and what remains ahead of us at The War To Settle The Score. Ernie Turner in particular is so excited he can barely remain in his seat, leading Jasmine Saunders to stop writing and toss her pen to the side in frustration.

xI3YCey.jpgfzyOKYn.pngJagOiTz.png

JA: Well I, for one need to take a quick break from all of that action. I'm sure you do too.

ET: You're killing me, Jason. Let's get Wolf out here and get that World Title off of Aaron Andrews' undeserving waist!

JS: Not even the next match.

JA: It's been a night of definitive victories so far. Hocking, Mo, Fro Sure and Jackson Laine all recorded really impressive wins. And while both Edd Stone and Killer Shark might have required a bit of outside help to get the job done...

ET: Wait a minute, Stone didn't ask for any help. Vita was essentially attacked by Joshua Taylor.

JS: Stone didn't seem all that upset about it.

JA: Even so, a big win for Stone. He hasn't beaten Joshua Taylor since a run that culimnated in Stone's first and only International Title run back in 2017. Could Stone's impressive recent run of form herald a return to that level of singles success?

ET: If he keeps that killer instinct I don't see why not. The kid has always been one mentality change away from being a real player.

JS: Well the fans don't seem to care much for his change in attitude.</div>

Suddenly the arena is filled with the opening riff of "Crazy Horse" as Jay Chord's music interrupts the announcer segment.

Chord waits in the ring for several minutes before the lights in the arena drop to pulsing whites and blues to herald the entrance of the Dark Rock God - Sammy Bach, who steps between twin sprays of pyro and poses with his arms outstretched to either side and his head thrown back as the pyro fires out to either side of him in a sequence that reaches either edge of the stage. Bach has replaced the bandanna he wears around his right bicep with one emblazoned with the TCW logo and his denim vest appears to have a new badge, also featuring the same logo. He also appears to be carrying a bag of something in his right hand. The camera pans up from his vest to a close-up of his determined face staring down at the ring, meanwhile the announcers play up that this is for the future of TCW; Chord is threatening to leave and cannot be allowed to walk away having proven that he is better than one of TCW's best.

Bach raises a microphone to his lips.

<div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #C2C2C2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";">

The arena cheers in response, Bach drops the microphone and slowly, purposefully paces down to the ring.

Sammy Bach VS Jay Chord

In the ring, Ray Johnson goes through the rules with the competitors while Jason Azaria explains to the folks at home what qualifies as "First Blood". Both men respond to the ref with a nod and get set to square up as the fans reach a fever pitch. Both men go nose to nose in the ring, and while the mics can't pick up what they're saying it's pretty clear that it isn't friendly. Chord shoves Bach in the chest and something immediately snaps in the veteran who begins firing back with right hands that send Chord flying across the ring. Bach continues to unload on his opponent in the corner, sends him out of the ring with a clothesline and then slides under the bottom rope to carry on the assault at ringside.

The commentary team point out that Chord literally isn't getting a single move in and, as if on cue, Bach's hot start is curtailed by a well timed chair shot to the gut, followed by another to his back as he doubles over in pain, both totally, frustratingly legal. The chair assault continues, and it is all Bach can do to stagger away from Chord, who advances. Eventually he finds breathing room against a ringpost when he baits Chord into swinging for the fences and then ducks and hits a big rising side kick.

Eventually the match somehow finds its way back into the ring, where Bach sets up a table and - after an exchange of blows - rolls Chord onto it. It's been a long time since the fans have seen it, so when Bach signals for his Dark Moonsault and ascends the turnbuckle they go absolutely wild. Chord looks like he might be stirring, but not fast enough to avoid the flying Bach and both men go through the table and appear to be completely out of it in the centre of the ring.

As Ray Johnson begins clearing the wreckage he checks both men for signs of bleeding but signals that he cannot find any. Bach is - eventually - the first to his feet and groggily slides out of the ring to retrieve the canvas bag he brought down with him to ringside. It soon becomes clear why as he up-ends it on the relatively cleared canvas and thousands upon thousands of thumbtacks cascade out. The crowd collectively gasp in anticipation and Bach takes a moment to recuperate against the ropes before going to pick up Chord, who swings tamely at Bach's mid-section as he attempts to fight back (largely in vain). There follow a couple of spots where Bach goes for moves which would plant Chord in the tacks: a powerbomb he can't get Chord up for and a backdrop that is countered. However, when Chord goes for his Super DDT in the corner he exposes himself and Bach seizes on the opportunity, sending his opponent toppling back into the thumb tacks with a series of strikes to the head. The crowd roars in approval as Chord writhes in agony on the mat. However those cheers turn to frustration when Ray Johnson determines that Chord is not bleeding enough to qualify as having lost the match yet; at least not while the tacks remain in his back.

Bach begins to take risks and Chord is somehow able to stay on his feet long enough to take advantage. After the pair exchange stiff kicks in the centre of the ring for a minute Chord is able to utilise a chair by feigning a strike then tossing it to Bach and landing a spinning back kick which drives it into Bach's head. Although this isn't enough to bloody the Dark Rock God Chord is - after several reversed attempts - able to land a Cradle Piledriver onto the chair and as he rolls to the side and appears to pass out Ray Johnson checks Bach's head - now slick with blood - and calls the match in Jay Chord's favour.

Chord is barely able to stand as his hand is raised in victory, meanwhile a dejected Sammy Bach seems apologetic to the fans as he slowly makes his way to the back, his face still a crimson mask.

The camera cuts to the back where Wolf is walking, ready for his match. He barely acknowledges the camera, but eventually stops to look straight into it as his music starts in the background.

The synth of his intro rings out through the arena as he walks through a curtain, leaving the camera behind. The feed cuts to the front of house where the lights have gone down, the ramp has been coated in fog and green lasers shine out from the stage top the top of the arena for Wolf's entrance...

World Heavyweight Title

Wolf Hawkins VS Aaron Andrews ©

In comparison to Wolf's methodical, cool entrance the Ace is all high energy. Wearing his typical red and white tights with a black leather jacket and taped fists, he gesticulates to the crowd as he marches down the ramp, taking time to exchange high fives and generally hype everyone up. Wolf looks on with disdain from the ring.

The house lights dim for the first time in the night as Charles Hapstander runs through the rules of tonight's World Heavyweight Title contest, a single spotlight shone on the ring to ensure that all focus is on the two men about to compete. Wolf, in his black and white tights, looks calm and collected, despite the gravity of the occasion.

As the pair lock up the announcers briefly recall the clashes these two have had in recent years and the fact that Wolf has never beaten Andrews when the title is on the line, a trend Wolf is surely looking to buck tonight. And in the early runnings things are too close to call, with Andrews' high-velocity offense met with the calculating brilliance of Wolf. Wolf opens things up early with some stiff shin kicks to Andrews' mid-section in the corner and things appear to be going his way as he turns his momentum into a sequence of damaging suplexes and a beautiful missile dropkick. However Andrews powers back to his feet, refusing to stay down and begins brawling with Wolf in the centre of the ring; the pair exchanging forearms in an exhausting back and forth.

Wolf is the first to stagger and Andrews follows up with a running DDT and a series of dragon screws which leaves Hawkins limping, but he also refuses to stay down and rises onto one leg and telling Andrews to "Come on". Once again the pair clash in the centre of the ring and once again the swings in momentum are all incredibly fine margins, which really highlights how close they are to one another in ability. This time Wolf comes out on top, gaining wrist control over the Ace and nailing a transitional high knee to floor him. The crowd seems to sense that Andrews is in danger and begin roaring their support, but it amounts to nothing as Wolf plants the champion with a brainbuster and signals for the full moon rising. However, just as Wolf appears to have Andrews where he wants him the arena goes dark and a familiar message flashes up on the screen accompanied by theme music we have all heard before...

As the lights come back on there is, once again, a scarecrow in the centre of the ring, this time wearing a dark trenchcoat and cowboy hat. Wolf turns to the referee and begins yelling while gesturing at the bizarre scene while the announcers begin to question what it means. Andrews has propped himself up in the corner while Wolf's conversation with Hapstander has escalated to the point where he can take it no more and shoves the referee down, which the referee sells as if he has been shot. And unfortunately for Wolf this entire exchange means that he doesn't see the 'scarecrow' step down from its wooden platform and pull the mask from its head to reveal a young, bearded face with blotchy dark makeup around the eyes.

JS: Oh my word...

ET: The scarecrow is alive! That scarecrow is a dude and he's stopping Wolf from winning the damned World Title!

JA: That's John Blackfyre! What the hell is he doing interfering in this match? The TCW training school graduate has returned but... my God... what has he become?</div>

Blackfyre grins widely at Wolf as he turns around then catches him with a boot in the gut and plants him into the mat with a pedigree that the announcers refer to as the "Bat Wing". The fans, unsure of what to make of this, respond with confusion though they understand that this may have just won Aaron Andrews the match. Blackfyre slowly gazes around at the arena then presses his hand to his face which seems to cause the lights to go out again. When they come back on a second later, he has vanished.

Andrews seems incensed by the interference but is clearly willing to take advantage of it as he mounts the turnbuckle and hits the Into The Blue cross body on the prone form of Wolf, who he then covers for the pinfall which a groggy Charles Hapstander counts.

The show goes off the air with Aaron Andrews celebrating in the ring while Wolf stares back up at the wooden platform in the ring in disbelief.

Sorry that took a little longer to get out than usual, ended up being a bit of a monster of a show!

I'll get the preview post for next week's Total Wrestling up later this week, and then we can dive into just what all this means for the future of TCW!

<p>Couple of strong showings from you guys there, I don't think there was an obvious win in the bunch with neither of you going for either Wolf or Sammy, and you were both correct! Wolf has some unfinished business with Andrews which may well tie him up as we head into the 4 vs 4 Survivor Series - esque Battlegrounds PPV, but don't doubt for a moment that he'll be looking to even the score with John Blackfyre! And, as you both called, Jay Chord did in fact sign a VERY lucrative contract with TCW which will keep him here until his late 30s. For some reason there were actually zero bids for him from SWF or USPW (so I had to dress up the contract storyline a bit to make it seem as though he might leave). I have no idea why, those guys were asleep at the wheel clearly!</p><p> </p><p>

That makes you our winner for this week <strong>Xendarii</strong> and draws you level with <strong>christmas_ape</strong> on 3 wins a piece for the month. Well done to both of you, and hopefully you enjoyed the show. Onwards to bigger and better things!</p><p> </p><p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Month In Review: February 2020</span></span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Another strong performing month, both in terms of size and popularity, for TCW. With a rumoured 22+ million in the bank (a 10% increase on last month's reserves) they are now financially healthy, and the show ratings have continued to impress. It feels like it is only a matter of time until they are once again considered a National company.</p><p> </p><p>

Wolf Hawkins VS Aaron Andrews was the hot ticket feud this month - a tried and tested combination which once again proved to be worth it's weight in gold, while both the Bach / Chord and Mo / Peak storylines drew well beyond what was expected, with fans particularly into the idea that Chord may have been leaving the company.</p><p> </p><p>

It has been rumoured that TCW may have also made an incredibly high profile signing this month which they are keeping under wraps. Who could that be, I wonder?</p><p> </p><p>

Well, this is embarrassing. Not only did Jay Chord NOT leave TCW in the end, but it sounds like him leaving was never even a real possibility if word out of his camp is to believed. Normally I would tuck that into my drawer titled "Things people say once they have signed a contract" but it would certainly explain TCW's willingness to make Jay's contract situation a part of his ongoing storyline with Sammy Bach. And what an addition it was. It added heat and drama, and when Chord was carried to the back on Sunday night I'm sure a lot of people in that arena in San Francisco thought they were seeing him for the last time. Or maybe not. Feel free to call me a "smark" in the comments.</p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="Hlk4HIh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Hlk4HIh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Some signing news from TCW now, some definitive, some smoke and mirrors. First off: we know for a fact that they have acquired the technically brilliant Ernest Youngman who will go straight onto the main roster and will surely be appearing on TV before too long.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><p><img alt="t7i5qu5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/t7i5qu5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="eHaXZP4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/eHaXZP4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

More surprising, though, are a couple of names rumoured to be turning up in MAW - TCW's developmental territory - in the near future. The Australian Will Beaumont is annoyingly good looking and one of the most natural stars in the world today. He needs work in the ring, but that's why developmental exists. And whoever convinced "Brave Star" Yuta Isono to leave Japan deserves a raise; he was touted as the next big Ace out there and coming to TCW signals a faith on his part that they will use him correctly and is an indication of TCW's growing international influence.</p><p> </p><p>

Lastly, we've received word that TCW have signed a big-name free agent from one of the big-two US companies. We don't know who yet - they're playing their cards very close to their chests on this one - but we know it's a big deal. More on that as we get it.</p><p> </p><p>

<p><strong>Wolf Hawkins</strong> vs Matt Hocking</p><p>

Tale of the Tape: The ascendant Matt Hocking takes on his toughest challenge this year with the legendary Wolf Hawkins - who will be looking to bounce back from Sunday's defeat - in his way.</p><p> </p><p>

#1 Contendership 10 Man Battle Royale:</p><p>

Benny Benson vs Doc Hammond vs <strong>Edd Stone</strong> vs Freddy Huggins vs Fro Sure vs Greg Gauge vs Jay Chord vs One Man Army vs Roderick Remus</p><p>

Tale of the Tape: A huge opportunity for one of these men; the winner will be granted a shot at the TCW World Heavyweight Title next week on Total Wrestling!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dazzling Dave Diamond </strong>vs Human Arsenal vs T-Bone Bright vs Marc Speed</p><p>

Tale of the Tape: A clash of men looking to gain some momentum as we head into Spring. A victory here could position the winner for a shot at the Television Title.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>John Blackfyre</strong> vs Chris Flynn</p><p>

Tale of the Tape: The enigmatic and waifish John Blackfyre made his striking return to TCW on Sunday when he cost Wolf Hawkins his shot at the World Title. Perhaps tellingly, his first match back will see him go up against a member of Wolf's Syndicate stable.</p><p> </p><p>

Jackson Laine vs <strong>Joshua Taylor</strong></p><p>

Tale of the Tape: Taylor has looked more like his old self in recent weeks, in personality if not in form, by shunning the under-handed tactics and returning to what he does best - wrestling. Laine recorded a big singles win over Maverick at The War and will be looking to carry this momentum forward.</p><p> </p><p>

The PPV delivered, and there's definitely some interesting signings. The thought of Will Beaumont in a few years time after developing around good wrestlers is big.</p>
