Tomato Can
In 2016 we could send almost anyone to a developmental company and give them the "work down there" reason. Most of them would never complain about wanting to be called up. Is that possible in 2020?

If nobody complains about working for a particular company, why would that option still be needed? Have you noticed people complaining? jonnycosmic
No you don't. If nobody complains about working for a particular company, why would that option still be needed? Have you noticed people complaining? This is 100% needed in 2020. Think about real world scenarios and the workers that have been sent to NXT (Owens, Nakamura, KENTA, Adam Cole, Charlotte, Finn Balor). In TEW2020, these workers would be very unhappy to be in developmental. And when you recalled them, they would already be mega upset. Opinion is opinion, and my opinion is this option is very much needed.

The other issue is that people working in a company like NXT as trainers like HBK, Matt Bloom etc. wind up getting recalled to the main roster when they're in an ai controlled company. Definitely an immersion killer. I've fiddled with a way around this, but so far no luck.

Tomato Can
Without this option I greatly lose my immersion joy of the game. It is not realistic to not have seasoned vets in training territories. Not Shawn Michaels type of trainers but guys who ride the roads and actually work in the ring on shows with younger talent. If most veterans complain about being in developmental and want to leave, who is teaching the younger guys how to work. I play 80's mods. There were VERY few, if any, what you would call "developmental" companies in the 80's. Yes, there were bigger companies that guys strived to get to but they worked in smaller territories most of their lives and promoters brought in vets to work with younger talent. I like to buy up dying territories and keep them alive by stocking them with Vet and Young talent. The "Working down there" option allowed me to do that. Now, almost every veteran complains and wants to be "brought up". My view is there is no "up" to be brought to. I own six different promotions (takeovers of dying companies) and I want you to work for World Class or I want you to work for Pacific Northwest or I want you to work for Florida Championship Wrestling. It's not about getting to a "main roster" it's about getting over and bringing a dying company back to life, thus keeping the territories alive. Without being able to buy the dying companies and putting vets there to train the younger guys all the territories die.

Like many will complain that in a wwe immediately they call up the likes of michaels and Balor etc straight away. But the way NXT is run is so unique it’s extremely difficult for a game to really recreate that. So game just seems popular, skilled workers so obviously the parent company will call them up. Granted it’s an immersion killer, but it’s such a unique situation it’s so hard to try and keep it real. A while ago it would have been unbelievable that the likes of Charlotte and Finn would even be there.

If WWE was trying to send those stars to spend months in Deep South or FCW they would absolutely not be happy about it. Workers complain relative to the size of the dev company in TEW as well.
