[RELEASE] Future/Custom Promotions Pack

Recommended Posts

Want to create your own company, but lacking inspiration? Maybe you want to pad out your save with some future promotions and graphics?

Either way you've come to the right thread :D I've created 17 promotions with fully completed profiles and graphics for all 12 monthly PPVs. Just download the data and graphics (at the end of this post) and import them into your game. You should also import venues, and company relationships. NOTE: Although I've included graphics for dojos/developmental these are not added in the data. It's your choice whether or not to open these facilities.

Right, let's look at the promotions.

Atoning Men of an Evil Nature (AMEN)

Set to debut: Post 1980

Product: Respectful Wrestling

Budget: $1.5m

Size: Insignificant

Atoning Men of an Evil Nature (AMEN) is a wrestling promotion with some incredibly lofty goals. You see, whilst most promotions are simply interested in making as much money as possible, AMEN instead views wrestling as a medium for rehab and redemption. Indeed, their ultimate aim is to save as many wrestling lives as possible.

AMEN is considered the last hope for wrestlers with severe personal issues (heavy drug users, former criminals, and so on). The promotion believes that, through Christ, they can return these troubled souls to former glory.

PLAYER HIRING RULES: ONLY HEAVY DRUG USERS AND/OR THOSE WITH CRIMINAL BACKGROUNDS. GET READY FOR SOME MEGA REHAB FEES

SlaughterHouse Wrestling (SHW)

Set to debut: Post 1993

Product: Deathmatch

Budget: $75k

Size: Insignificant

Some would call SlaughterHouse Wrestling (SHW) the most disgusting promotion in existence today. Everyone involved, from the workers to the fans, meet most of the criteria in any modern psychopathy test. The promotion's matches often descend into complete and utter bloodbaths, and unsurprisingly, the police have been called to intervene on numerous occasions.

Unfortunately, their gruesome approach to pro wrestling shows no signs of slowing down, with some in the industry even suggesting that we may well witness a murder in the ring at some point.

WHAT'S MISSING

This expansion pack has pretty much everything covered, with the exception of title belts. I've made a couple but it isn't my forte so I personally prefer to use generic belts. With that said, I would love, love, love it if somebody could design some belts for the above companies!

So say I manually add a few of these promotions and start a world where WCW exists. Real people have real pictures and how I can get fictional wrestlers to use renders or free pictures? Where do I put the files for free pictures and renders at?

For future workers, add images to the people folder and add then add them in the "free pictures" setting in the editor. This expansion pack has no free worker pictures, although there are mods out there for that.

So i loaded it and am stoked. All companies are set to random, so they will appear completely out of the blue yeah? Also if they haven't debuted yet they wouldn't appear in my In Game Editor, correct?

They open whenever there's a need I believe. Low number of promotions in an area will lead to one or more opening I think. And yet to debut companies do in fact show up in the in game editor.

If you want to add these promotions to a running save you'll need to import them first.

Also, this is a great set of promotions!

Ok, so I imported the companies into my game but they didn't open right away. They were still set to |"random". So I set one company to open during the current month of gameplay and the month ended without the company opening. Am I doing something wrong?
