I just realised that I've forgot to add the pre-show matches to the quick picks! They won't count for the prediction contest, so there's no need for those who already posted to update their picks, but they're still "relevant" matches in that they will in fact affect the Pick Your Wrestler contest, so I wanted to let you know about them.

Hyped! This has been great so far and I’m already keen for the Feb PPV to see what sort of big matches you build towards, especially in the women’s division, since the CWA women are insanely talented.

And actually, there haven't been many points to distribute because episode 96 of Championship Wrestling was pretty midcard-heavy and featured a good amount of women's wrestling (something which I intend to keep going because the women's division is pretty awesome). Big win for the Griffins, always good to see. I enjoyed the match write-ups, particularly the clusterfun of a main event. I don't think they went on too long. Interested to see where that goes, the Elite are in total control right now. I don't imagine it'll last too long though with Mark Griffin in the same company .

<p class="cwa-p-nmt">Pay-per-views are a huge thing for this contest because they mean that most of your picks will make it on the card (and, unlike for TV shows, pre-show matches count). As a result, there are quite some points to be allocated this time.</p>

<p>There's also a potential problem with the rules that slowly comes to light now that a few shows have been held: Especially for TV shows, it's relatively unlikely for star-level workers to wrestle against opponents with a similar perception. This is also potentially true for pay-per-views though. At Total Elimination, we had Ricky and Jack DeColt winning a match against Bloodstone and his allies, who are all perceived as well-known, and even though the win feels pretty big, they both only get one point out of it due to the rules. At the same time, David Stone gets three points because he has a lower perception, but the system absolutely doesn't account for the fact that he's teamed up with two stars.</p>

<p class="cwa-p-nmb">To account for this issue, I've altered the rules so that if you're in a match where you have at least one partner by your side, the highest perception among all team members is counted for the whole team. This means potentially less points for wrestlers on the lower card, but at the same time teaming up with someone with a higher perception will also make them more likely to win, so I hope this change will add a bit of balance to the whole contest.</p>

The DeColt/Bloodstone is the first and, so far, only feud in this save that I've set up myself. Everything else is pre-set in the database. I've got a rough idea where to go with it, and I'm really excited for it. However, for this whole thing to work, Bloodstone had to take the loss at the pay-per-view. You'll soon see why!

Thanks for the feedback! And yes, that plan was immediately on my mind when I had my first look at the roster. Right now, after Mr. Impact has joined them, they hold ALL men's titles in the company, and that's exactly where I need them to be.
