The last few months have been a roller coaster ride for Joey Janela. After failing to win the IWTV Independent Championship, he signed off on a disastrous Japan tour failing to win even a single match. But the stars shined on him as he put in one of his best performances to win the Acid Cup for a second time and so ACH has to put his GCW World title on the line against him. This is the Last Resort.

With the recent announcement of Gage of his retirement, RSP has vowed to finish off the MoFos for good and the two group renew their hostilities.

 

 

Dynasty (Alex Hammerstone/Richard Holliday) vs IronBeast (KTB/Shane Mercer)

 

 

When Hammerstone arrived in GCW last month, it was a huge moment as Dynasty announced their intentions clearly. IronBeast has now challenged them to a tag match and if Dynasty wins, Hammerstone gets a shot at KTB.

IronBeast vs Dynasty

 

 

Dynasty showed why their arrival in GCW was a big moment as they just demolished the team of KTB and Mercer with Mercer absorbing most of the offenses. Hammerstone finally ended this after Holliday had low blowed KTB and sent him out of the ring. Alex capitalised on Mercer with his Nightmare Pendulum.

GCW World Championship Last Man Standing Match

This was the last chance for Janela to get himself the gold and he fought like a man possessed. He still stood strong after two Dragon Fly and beat the ten count on both the occasions.

 

As time went by, ACH grew more frustrated and he started becoming brash and Joey got the opening he wanted as he showered all his pent-up anger, peppering ACH with slashes and punches before hitting his famed Superkick and then followed up with two Swanton Bombs and finally ACH had been silenced.

Hammerstone had been in upwards trajectory for the last 2 months ever since he arrived and he capitalized on his momentum as he defeated KTB comprehensively bringing an end to his reign.

As with any match involving Bear Country, this was full of bloodshed as all four wrestlers caught light tubes on their face and bodies. In the end, Bear Country defended their title with a Demolition on JD Drake.

Two back to back deathmatches pumped up the crowd and Only and Warhorse wore the crimson mask. Manders hit his finisher twice on Warhorse but he kicked out every time and then he capitalized on Only and Manders fist fight with a quick roll up on Only to win.

Mr. Anderson came out to some big pops and ACH was surprised to see him. He was old but he has not lost a step. These two delivered a fantastic match which was physical and brilliant. In the end, ACH's stamina paid off as he hit his Dragon Fly to retain.
