I requested this on the OG mod way back in the day, but I'd love to see an Idolmaster/Love Live collab promotion, if not that, just an Idolmaster one(Producer-San is one of the Avatars in the game, makes no sense that there's no other IMAS chars).</p><p> </p><p>

I'd also love to see a Hololive promotion, I think that keeps in the spirit of the mod.</p><p> </p><p>

Also while I'm here, Black Lagoon really shouldn't be a "Classic Balanced" product promotion, it should either be "Bar Room Entertainment" or "Anti-Establishment Hardcore"</p>

Played this a lot in TEW 2013 and am so happy that i now can play it in 2020.

 

For new workers/Companies i would love to see.

 

1. Split off the One Piece workers from Toei and make their own company. There are so many characters that would be amazing to have in here that is impossible to corporate into TOEI. Company named Grand Line Wrestling (GLW) and maybe move them to India so that area can be filled.

 

2. A Disney/Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts based company. There are currently no Disney characters and also Final Fantasy is barely represented. Adding in Kingdom Hearts (My fave game series) and you should be able to make a nice company around it. Best location i think would be in Canada.

 

3. To help populate Australia i would add a company based around Digimon. Also i think i would change Pokemon to make it so that the humans are Managers and other staff and the pokemon are the wrestlers (Same for Digimon).

 

I further have some ideas for other "free" characters that could be added.

 

I can help with picking characters and basic powerscaling for these series.

Actually the idea I had is that since we have a new area you use it to set up a mecha focused area. I remember Crayon talking about such a thing back in the old threads. If you want some help with this I'd be willing to lend a hand as best as I could.

I've also been pondering on a revised 9000verse - I've actually done a decent bit of work adding and modifying a good chunk of the data for my own revision of it (using Bolt's "Remastered" data as a base, of course).

 

The main thing of what I did was add new characters, add attributes to at least most of the more known characters (+ some characters I personally recognize), set up more broadcasting deals, add a bit more to the locations and fine-tune some of the popularity of promotions and workers to balance out the world and make sure some companies don't have too many "Major Stars" or don't go on a big signing spree straight out of the gate.

 

One thing I did aside from that was bump the starting date up to 2010, so a couple promotions that would otherwise not be open at the original starting date of roughly around the end of 2008 are open; also made a couple changes based on narratives that would also end up skipped due to the changed starting date, and added some workers to companies based on dojo affiliation and just what is represented in some of those companies.

 

Also added a lot of pictures to the People folder; no completely new promotions have been set up yet, though, but I do have some ideas.

 

PROMOTION IDEAS:

• Something along the lines of an Adult Swim-inspired promotion - maybe have a brand-split with separate brands for the more comedic cartoons and the action-oriented block mainly consisting of anime and load it up with the anime characters in Canada that aren't hired anywhere
  
• Split off Nintendo from Console Faction Combat into its own promotion, maybe put that in Oceania alongside the Pokemon promotion.
  
• A Dynasty Warriors fed (one of my favorite game franchises) - don't know whether I'd put this in Japan alongside a Samurai Warriors sister company or in India just to give that area something.
  
• A proper King of Fighters promotion (another of my favorite franchises) - though, Pro Arcade Fighting already has something going with KoF as well as Tekken and a little bit of Street Fighter - alternatively, a rival promotion going against ArcFight that shares a similar theme of fighting-game franchises, also taking from the talent pool.
  
• A One Piece promotion just for the sake of giving them a home since a bunch of them will now be available from start due to pushing the date up to 2010 (probably in Japan, maybe in India or Oceania to populate).
  

 

I'm really just spitballing ideas based on what I've seen in there beyond the already-established companies.

I don't plan on releasing it just yet because I still got to do some more tweaking for beyond the Big 3 anime companies, and I feel like it may still be a long while off from being ready (also because I want to be sure vtechguy had no objections).

I would definitely be interested in a new 9000-verse. Also, I would say to put One Piece in Oceania, for populating and also the region name Oceania just demands to have a Pirate-themed promotion based there.

Weirdly enough, vtech's been active on the forum still, but he hasn't posted anywhere on here since March of last year, so I dunno if we're gonna get much of an update on this anytime soon.

U can always try and make the promotions on your own and put them in the data. In the disclaimer of the database it says its free for all to use so u are free to put your own stuff in it. Call it over 9000and1verce

 

maybe a extra idea. The orginal database also has a few workers named after the profiles off member off this forum so maybe continu this tradition with some workers named after new member who have down a lot these years?
