Mutant came down to the ring next, now as the HWA East Coast champion, and addressed the fans in a promo. This match was, to hardcore matches, what hardcore matches are to regular ones. Magwitch and Ali didn't hold back and absolute chaos ensued: weapons, blood, crazy spots, wild brawling, it was all there and turned to eleven, with Ali having to fight hard but coming out on top after a G.B.H. Driver that put Magwitch through a table.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Black Diamond's power and athleticism gave her opponents a run for their money, matching the strength of DeMarcus who arrogantly came into this match thinking it would be easy. Grey's high flying added excitement to the bout, even if once or twice Punnen met his moves with ultra stiff kicks, one of them catching him mid flight for a decent pop. All it took though was DeMarcus delivering Snap Tackles to both women as soon as he got the opportunity, knocking the wind out of Black Diamond long enough to get the three count over her partner.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Courier New';">

Xavier Reckless took DMW's bait and mere minutes after the start of the match, he was outside brawling with them. The audience parted to give the wrestlers some space to trade fists and the complexion of the match changed dramatically after Gravedigga swung a chair to the side of Antix's head. Whether that was improvised or Antix simply never saw the blow coming, apparently the impact messed with his balance and he struggled to even stand or walk afterwards, a legit injury that held him back and ultimately saw him fall to The Execution as Mobstar covered him for the three count.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Courier New';">

Not widely known outside Puerto Rico, Galindo still got a better reaction from the New York than the California audience of GSW where he debuted the night prior. Mutant, of course, is slowly turning into a unique folk hero of the HWA audience with his combination of in-ring force, crazy character and charisma, so the fans were behind him from start to finish. Galindo pulled off his reckless high flying moves to gain the advantage, but high risk doesn't always mean high reward and his own miscalculations took out a lot from himself before Mutant even hit him with the MuTNT and then the TMNTurner to score the pinfall.</span></p></div><p></p><p></div></p><p> </p><p>

Grimm was in the ring as the episode began and he kicked things off with a scathing promo, reminding everyone that he runs GSW, no matter how people seem to have forgotten, running around and throwing challenges left and right. Grimm reminded everyone how he set things in motion that ultimately cost Max Mayhem his job and promised to include more nasty surprises like these, starting from tonight's main event. Will the GSW fans ever stop booing Devyn and chanting "boring" at him? Probably not. Hector Galindo had a chance to do his thing and score an easy win in an otherwise forgettable match. (Rating: 31)

Foxxy LaRue and Miss Jones had another segment of arguing over who would be best suited to side with Black Diamond and Jo Baker, but this time the Baddest Bitch in this Business showed her savvy when she revealed she's already jumped on Brother Grimm's boat of crazy booking decisions by requesting a tag match, up next! Given the growing animosity between the two female competitors here, it's no surprise the match quickly devolved into a fistfight. Always happy to jump into a brawl, PE#1 even took the fight to the outside, leading to some rather dangerous spots. However, Motor City Made's experience shone through and they were able to gain control of the match while punishing the opposition until Deaf Touch ended it with a Crooked Moonsault on Public Enemy. G Force threw himself into this match and his opponent with reckless abandon, using everything to launch himself as a living weapon. This sudden rush of offence caught Capp by surprise, but he recovered and turned things around with a well measured chair shot, before finishing his rookie opponent with a Mafia Kick for the pin. The nasty surprise that Brother Grimm had mentioned at the start of the show was forcing Los Guerilleros to defend their Hottest Crew titles on a very short notice, while putting Raheem Stash with State of Destruction as the challengers. This did of course mean that the champions were outmatched in terms of sheer size and power, but it also meant that they had teamwork on their side, as Stash's ongoing issues with Boneyard and BB Colossus were rekindled, a stark reminder that they have not been resolved. This was also more or less the story of the match, with the challengers controlling the match but creating openings for their opposition every time they had to work together.

c0A4HO1.png

As if trusting his teammates wasn't enough of a challenge for the West Coast champion already, he also had to deal with the interference of Hustle Muvva, who showed up to smash his scheduled opponent with the title belt. Since all GSW matches are by default no DQ and no countount, Muvva didn't even have to be sneaky about it and while it did not knock Stash out cold, it certainly caused enough damage to hold him back and allow Los Guerilleros to set him up for a Hard Times chokeslam from Finest for the pin. The episode went straight into the opening match, where Shooting Star Perez tried to blitzkrieg his way to a quick win over E-Soteric. His opening salvo of big aerial moves was enough to put him in the driver's seat for a while, but E-Soteric managed to recover in time and pull himself together after a two count to turn things around and end up as the winner. Los Guerilleros were making their entrance for their match next when they got jumped from behind, courtesy of BB Colossus and Boneyard. State of Destruction delivered a beatdown, confirming their rivalry with the Latino group is far from over, then rolled their bodies inside the ring like lambs to a slaughter, clearly wanting to set Los Guerilleros up for an embarassing loss rather than completely destroy them. The pre-match attack meant that the underdog female team was actually fighting a much more even battle and they used that opportunity to bring the offense. Baker's scrappy brawling and Maivia's high flying made for an exciting offensive barrage, though they both made rookie mistakes that allowed Los Guerilleros to take control. This built up to Black Diamond getting the hot tag and cleaning house with some big power moves, much to the excitement of the live crowd.

wI7LhLH.png

When Diamond made the cover though, Mexico's Finest showed up from the crowd and grabbed her leg to yank her away from the pin just before the count of three. This once again bought Los Guerilleros some much needed time to get their head straight and although Finest did not get involved in the match again, the damage had been done and Galindo got the pin with a big Shooting Star Press on Sheila Maivia. Three different wrestling styles were thrown into this match, but instead of it being a spotlight of each man's forte, it quickly devolved into a chaotic crazy brawl. This of course favored Hustle Muvva, but it's not like his two opponents were strangers to hard hitting hardcore action either.

1zCxav3.png

When the numbers game turned against Muvva, Kandii was there to provide the assist but not long after, Raheem Stash showed up to simply pick her up, throw her onto his shoulder and carry her away, removing her from the match and distracting Muvva, who abandoned the bout in order to give chase. The other two competitors kept the action going and in a breathtaking moment, Top Dolla climbed up for his signature balcony dive...

EjNfVzF.png

...only for Magwitch to pop up from behind the balcony railing and shove him back to a deadly drop. Dolla's body still connected with Blake and it somewhat broke his fall, but it was an uncontrollable descent and the spot really had the audience gasping. From that point on, Blake only had to get back on his feet and hit the nigh-unconscious Dolla with the Black Plex for good measure, keeping the bridge for the three count. (Rating: 46)

Blake took a moment to celebrate his victory and cut a promo, but he was soon interrupted by Motor City Made. Fire on the mic as usual, the Baddest Bitch in the Business told TBJ he's good, but he's no Deaf Touch and after some back and forth, the challenge was laid for each man to find a partner, before meeting for a tag match in next week's main event. As arranged last week, Fro Sure wrestled Aces High in what was essentially a final test before facing Cali Slick for the American title. Even though Fro was expected to win here, Aces brought the heat and given his personality as well as all the hardcore stuff that happened, this was almost a deathmatch. Aces tried to put Fro out to pasture but the 2020 King of California was just too resilient and refused to stay down. Even though he ended the night as the winner, Fro was clearly spent from the match and although Aces couldn't stop him, he was certainly able to soften him up in light of the big title match. Cali Slick got in the ring after the match, mic in hand and American title resting on his shoulder. Slick praised Fro for his toughness, but assured him it won't win him the belt when they do get to wrestle, while Fro assured Slick, fans and viewers at home that if he could win the King of California tournament and win tonight, he can certainly win again and become the next GSW American champion. G Force brought his youthful energy, daredevil style, speed and athleticism against the veteran in Miss Jones to get the episode started. Most of it was G Force hitting his big spots to pump up the crowd with his opponent occasionally cutting him off for a bit, but in the end all it took was a rookie mistake to blow his momentum and allow Jones to hit a Candy Cane for the pin. After her victory, Miss Jones grabbed the mic to cut a promo and call herself the Baddest Bitch in the Building, paraphrasing Foxxy LaRue's catchphrase since, as she pointed out, LaRue was in Texas for the night, wrestling for QAW. Jones addressed Black Diamond and Jo Baker, telling them LaRue wants to replace her at the helm of BPLM but her priorities lay elsewhere, as opposed to Jones who'll always be around. (Rating: 25)

Los Guerilleros came out in full force next, with MexiCain cutting a promo to complain about State of Destruction's pre-match attack last week. This brought out Black Diamond and Jo Baker who called them out for being "whiny bitches" when all they do is attack others, but can't handle it when anyone else pays them back the same way. Unable to handle the criticism, Los Guerilleros chose to shut BPLM up by attacking them 4 on 2, but the appearance of BB Colossus and Boneyard evened the odds, forcing Los Guerilleros to a hasty retreat as the odd alliance of SoD and BPLM stood in the ring. This six man tag essentially intertwined three feuding pairs in one match, letting all six loose in a chaotic hardcore free for all brawl. Slick and Stash got the bulk of the offense thanks to their significant power advantage, even double chokeslamming Magwitch through a table at one point. Their opponents had to resort to wits or trickery (in the case of Muvva) to fight back, with Top Dolla adding the exclamation point by hitting his signature balcony dive onto everyone. The recovered Magwitch tried to pick the bones of that mess and finish the match, but he made the mistake of attacking Stash who was the first to show signs of life. The psycho clown put a kneeling Stash in place for a Stump Piledriver, but the West Coast champion countered into a back body drop, tossing the clown up an over before he hit him with a Standing Powerslam for the pin. Tavon Blake Jr came out next to introduce Busta Capp as his surprise partner for the night. With Foxxy LaRue however revealed earlier in the night to be missing, Blake and Capp couldn't help but wonder out loud who would be replacing her, as clearly they wouldn't be wrestling against Motor City Made. Cut back to Brother Grimm's office and the top dog in GSW had a few announcements to make in regards to the upcoming Gangsta's Paradise show. Grimm said that of course there's two title matches scheduled, Slick versus Fro and Stash versus Muvva, but he had a few more to reveal, especially after watching how things have been developing lately. Grimm confirmed that all four of Los Guerilleros will have a match against the team of BPLM and State of Destruction, while Top Dolla and Magwitch will go one on one in a Tables match. Last but not least, since Foxxy LaRue bailed on him and the GSW fans for the night, Grimm said he had decided to give Miss Jones a chance to put her out for good: at Gangsta's Paradise, Foxxy LaRue versus Miss Jones in an I Quit match, with the loser leaving the company! Back to the ring, DT's partner turned out to be E-Soteric, a man who's been drifting between mentor and rival to Blake for quite some time. This history added a lot of intensity to the match and it didn't take long for E-Soteric to clothesline Blake over the top rope to the outside. The situation served the rugged Capp all too well and not much longer, things devolved into an all out ringside brawl between all four competitors. E and Touch double teamed Blake until Capp charged in with a Mafia Kick that nearly decapitated E-Soteric. Blake saw his chance to bust a Black Plex and drive Deaf Touch onto the hard ground, turning the tide in favor of Capp and TBJ. By the time things got back between the ropes, Capp was firmly in control and he sought to put away E-Soteric with a piledriver, but E fought out of the predicament and hit his own double arm DDT out of nowhere for a surprise pinfall on the veteran. Just finished reading this from the beginning. You say this is your favorite company to book and it shows in both the representation of the style of GSW and characterizations of characters in the company. Will be following from now on.

After the two wrestlers went a little back and forth on the mic to hype up their upcoming title clash (and to berate Grimm for delaying it) the man in charge took over and confirmed that the match would be main eventing Gangsta's Paradise. He had one stipulation to add though: as he did not want such a big match to have a messy finish with lucky roll ups or outside interference, this was going to be a 2 out of 3 falls match to determine the real GSW American champion. A callback to the early "hood hardcore" stuff of GSW, this match had all the weapons, blood and crazy spots to get the audience going, as well as a ton of near falls since people kept coming from all angles and breaking up pins. This was also played up in regard to Dolla's balcony dive spot, which never came to pass as people kept pulling him down before he could deliver it. Dolla was obsessed with hitting that one and it held him back in the match, but it also made for an impressive spot where he fought back Magwitch mid-ascent and dropped him to a free fall onto the ground. The psycho clown must have landed weirdly and dislocated his shoulder or separated his AC, as his arm just hang there motionless after the spot and it's not like Magwitch is known for his stellar selling.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"> </span></span><img alt="1zCxav3.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1zCxav3.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"> This pretty much boiled the match down to Aces versus Muvva, with the former IPW star staying in control until Raheem Stash showed up to repay some favors and beat him up. What State of Destruction had on their side was being a consistent team though, and they used some double team moves to deliver the pain; those are devastating normally, but have two giants like Boneyard and BB hit them and they become destroyers of lives. Such was the case for Mexico's Finest, who wanted to do most of the fighting for his side and ended up taking most of the beating, with SoD focusing on turning his arm to paste in order to neutralize his Hard Times chokeslam finisher (assuming he could lift either opponent to deliver it, in the first place). Instead, he ended up taking a chokeslam from Boneyard while BB threw his full weight with an Avalanche onto Galindo, launching him off the apron to ensure there would be no interruptions during the pin. Brother Grimm opened the show, saying he had an announcement to top the appearance of Moses Makesh from last month. He wasn't lying either, as he announced the purchase of Puerto Rico's FREEDOM Caribbean Wrestling, something he called the next step towards GSW conquering the Nation all the way to the East coast and everything in between. Grimm said that things will be changing within the next couple of months and fans better stay tuned to keep up with all of it. (Rating: 60)

Who would have thought we'd ever be seeing Black Diamond and Jo Baker team up with the big brutes BB and Boneyard, yet here it was thanks to their shared issues against Los Guerilleros. BPLM started off the match for their team and got the ball rolling against the fast offence of Brown Pride and Galindo, until Boneyard got the tag to face off against Mexico's Finest. The two big men slugged it out for a while until they had to tag out, leading into a segment of Guerilleros isolating Baker for a beatdown and then the hot tag to BB who cleaned house. From there, the match dissolved into chaos and a free for all, serving to provide enough distraction for Galindo to pin the beaten Baker while everyone else was too caught up in the action to break it up. Foxxy LaRue cut a promo next on Miss Jones, saying she's failed at guiding BPLM and how the Baddest Bitch in the Business would do a much better job at that. LaRue also shot on Jones talking trash about her while she wasn't around, saying tonight she was going to shut her up for good, but not before she'd be forced to say "I Quit". (Rating: 61)

The story of this match was on display from the opening sequences already, with LaRue wanting to brawl while Jones tried to use her experience to keep the fight in the ring and slow down the pace. After some back and forth that let each woman hit her arsenal of moves, Jones lost control when she missed a big missile dropkick, a spot that showcased how age has caught up with the faster aerial style she would use throughout her tenure with AAA. Hitting such moves gradually became an obsession for Jones and she would try again and again, despite repeated failure, her pride overriding her experience and sense. This allowed LaRue to make comebacks and even hit her Flash Head Kick to catch her opponent mid-air, chipping away until she was finally able to slap on an abdominal stretch and shove the mic in her opponent's face to hear those two words: I Quit! Magwitch has been a thorn on Top Dolla's side since the latter defeated Max Mayhem the previous month to drive him out of GSW and after a month of clashes, run ins and harassment, they finally got to settle this the only way these two could, in a hardcore match. This was every bit the fight one would expect from these two, including a cringe-inducing spot where Magwitch landed right on his shoulder, clearly dislocated it and yet continued to wrestle. Of course, the injury took something away from his ability to move and bump, but seeing him push through only amplified the sense of violence in the match as well as his psychotic character, even if he ended up being the one who went through the table. Very much a character match, this one was all about Hustle Muvva's mouth writing checks his ass couldn't cash, then cowardly running away from Stash and trying to slow the match when he was in control. Muvva would cower away or cheat to turn things around, every time drawing heat from the crowd that wanted to see him get his comeuppance. Not exactly used to be on the selling side of a match, Stash still did some basic stumbling about after getting hit, but would quickly explode into a lariat or big boot to shut Muvva down and get back on the driver's seat chasing him. Every time Stash looked more angry and eager, something Muvva ended up exploiting when Kandii got on the apron to distract the big Jamaican and allow her client to attack from behind, setting up his Hustler's Headbutt for a pin. New GSW West Coast champion, Hustle Muvva! (Rating: 46)

TBJ being the non-hardcore, non-high flying type of wrestler makes him stand out in GSW, this was the match equivalent of it and Deaf Touch made full use of this singles match against him to showcase his own straight wrestling talent. If you take away the atmosphere of the Warehouse and the "hood" characters of the competitors, the action itself wouldn't be out of place inside a MAW ring, proof that GSW isn't just about gangsta gimmicks, blood, weapons and crazy spots. Blake tried to keep things on the mat and indeed most of the bout featured standing strikes or grappling on the ground, but Deaf Touch wouldn't be denied from taking to the skies and eventually also hitting his Crooked Moonsault for the victory. Despite the stipulation implying that this would be a longer than usual match, neither participant was willing to play it safe and conserve their strength. Instead, they flew into a wild fist fight straight out the gates looking for a quick advantage by scoring the first pin. It didn't take long for things to spill out of the ropes where Aces High had been hanging out in support of Slick and it was the assistance of Aces that set up Slick to score the first fall. Apparently it was never requested though, as Slick didn't seem happy with the assist and began to argue with Aces. The scene ended with Fro using the distraction to jump Slick and Aces throwing his hand in the air before retreating to the locker room in obvious disappointment. Pressing his advantage, Fro whacked the champion's head on the apron, ringpost, steps, barricade and any other place he could, a tactic that got him pinfall number two while also softening Slick up for the Sure Thing piledriver. Now with one fall each, the two competitors kicked things into an even higher gear as they brawled, Slick delivering a dominant Spinebuster for a near fall to break up the action. Fro responded with a comeback and the Sure Thing, but Slick kicked out at two, then attempted to hit his own finisher, the Slick-Back. Sensing the danger, Fro barely escaped and it took a second Sure Thing, this one onto a chair lying around from an earlier spot, to put Slick down for the final three count. (Rating: 61)

Author's Note: Now with FCW and HWA to take care of besides GSW, it's becoming a lot to write out. It takes a lot of effort and I feel like it's to the detriment of everything, so I'll only be writing out GSW stuff while also providing quick updates of FCW and HWA shows. Remember, the prediction contest runs until the end of the in-game year, which is the next big GSW show. After that, the numbers will reset.

It was time for Sayeed Ali to speak up next and address the situation of tonight's main event. Ali claimed he's proved himself and defeated Ferrerra so he should be going one on one against Mutant, but regardless he'd come out on top with the title.
