Workers will work for the biggest company they work for first and then move down the list. Now, if that company is not using them that day, they'll work for you. The big advantage of non-exclusive written is you can set it to be ironclad and lock them in for the duration of the deal. They can go work other places, they can become really popular, but if you have them for two years they're going to work for you for two years, so it avoids having some of your workers just straight poached from you.
