That guy could have worded himself a bit less savagely and I hate to say this but I actually get his point. I don't doubt for a second that you put a lot of work into your mods, but from experience I know it's LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to have something that's gone over thoroughly and balanced and tested extensively without devoting absurd amounts of time to one thing. Last year when I was converting RWC I was working literally all day every day getting it converted properly (thank you lockdown) and that was just me working on one mod, you're working on 3 or 4 I think? You said this was 90% done, you then said there were just "little tweaks and additions" to do and now you're saying it's just an early beta release. Again, I'm not trying to be harsh or rude, I know you've put a shitload of time into your mods, but looking at them I don't know if the time is being spent that well, and posting a beta in this state is nearly pointless because there's so much work left to be done that people would need to be sitting around looking in the editor for hours trying to find it all for you.

Cpt Charisma mods were always known for being OP so a straight conversion was always going to have this problem, but I don't understand why you bothered going through everybody rounding to the nearest 10 when that's going to exacerbate the problem. The rounding thing is just personal preference, I don't like it at all, personally I think you absolutely can justify giving some workers 1-2 more in a stat than others and not doing so is making the accuracy suffer for the same of saving time. Like I said, I think this is just personal preference so it's not that big of a deal. The original point I wanted to make though is you went through rounding everything to the nearest 10, which sounds like an enormous amount of work but that's time spent very poorly and has resulted in incredibly OP workers when you could have fixed the stats instead. Giving someone like Justin Gabriel 90 in aerial is just as much work as giving him 70 which would be far more accurate. This isn't really something I can give a bunch of specific examples on because frankly there's too many, just a cursory glance at the workers and I think everybody will see it.

Again, not trying to shit on your work or anything, but I feel like in the long run you're just making things harder for yourself and need to focus more on QC rather than pumping out as many mods as possible as quickly as possible, because from experience it's just not feasible to make them work well in such a short space of time.

I round up or down to the nearest 10 so not everybody ends up OP

Why would that make them not OP? You make them not OP by watching them and statting them fairly.

There are 44 active wrestlers with Psych of 90 or more, the likes of Azrieal, Chuck Taylor, Frankie Kazarian, Hartley Jackson, Jimmy Jacobs, Jimmy Rave, Masaaki Mochizuki, Mat Diamond (his age and debut date are also way off), Robbie Eagles (his also), Matt Sydal, PJ Black etc have 80+ SQ. 54 workers have 80+ puro, among them are Matt Hardy (???), B-Boy, Kenzo Suzuki, Jay & Mark Briscoe and Ricky Reyes. Popularity is kind of all over the place, TNA have 21 major stars/stars, Dragon Gate's popularity is too high and the workers too low so they have 0, CMLL have 0, AAA have 0. It's just as much work rounding up or down as it is to actually look at the stats and make them accurate. I just feel like you've make a shitload of extra work for yourself for no reason when anybody could see it's off.

I'll wait for the next update to go into specifics on stats. As for data:

Set Brock Lesnar to On Hiatus with a starting absence until April 2012.

Maybe set Brock and Heyman as a permanent unit? Not sure if this will make it so Heyman follows Brock? Worth a test.

CM Punk should have a one month contract (Maybe three months since promotions could poach him right away, we need a two month option). Set his morale to low/very low. Make it a challenge to keep him, but possible with the right interactions/booking. Finding this balance with Punk should be a key focus imo, due to the theme of the mod.

Should Punk be set to heel to start? He's feuding with Cena, so the game would give penalities for that. If so, set his last turn to allow a face turn without backlash.

Delete Lauren Brooke, she last worked in wrestling in 2009. She's currently set to Left the Business.

Trish is set to Left the Business, have her as a retired wrestler. She showed up a few times as a personality around that time.

Haven't downloaded yet so can't say specifically but converting from 2010 through numerous converters to get to 2020 is always going to lead to a hell of a lot of work being needed as definitions of certain stats or interpretations by Modders of certain stats etc have changed dramatically.. Also not sure cif it was 2010 or before but if that 2010 was carried from before that there was a time when there was a strong style stat I think it was called which was taken the wrong way and replaced with puro stat.. might be slightly off with the details from sketchy memory as so long ago but something similar.

Looking at that homicide screenshot he was not for me even in his prime then his prime had gone.. yet I still wouldn't have a lot of his stats that good in his prime either.

I would be interested as not on computer to check by downloading where he places in the top 500 workers as with those stats he would have to be top 15 for me minimum otherwise that would mean others are as op as him

On first glance that list looks quite unbalanced.. some of them better than homicide some he should maybe be ahead of.. Keiji mutoh at that point I'm not sure souks be that high.. ditto with people like rvd maybe

I love quack and I'm a huge Mark for the guy but you have to question him being that high

My personal thought on the mod would be that a hype thread came out then two days later a beta.. maybe it was worked on before that but if not considering the work needed to convert through a couple games that seems awfully quick

When it comes to importing data and editing - something just doesn’t click. Maybe you could try creating a data from scratch and your methods may shine more that way? However the other issues such as refs/old men having 30 Ariel ect is something I cannot sort out and needs to be addressed ASAP I believe.

Before editing/producing any more mods - try to get this one perfect and accept help from others. Also ask yourself, why are some people still working on mods since the release of tew20, whilst you have managed to release 4-5?

He wasn't really leaving, and he wasn't unhappy enough to leave at this point. Setting it up so it's difficult to keep Punk takes away the reason the majority want to play this mod ie. to rebook the Summer of Punk and the small revolution that took place following it in their image, not to struggle for a month to appease one talent who never really had any intention of leaving.

Swings and roundabouts is defined as "a situation in which different actions or options result in no eventual gain or loss.". Of course, we'll never know for sure. The storyline was no doubt based on his real life unhappiness in the company. Then this storyline was agreed to, either before or after he was persuaded to stay.

In terms of making it fun as a game, it wouldn't need to be anything too challenging. It would require some testing, but something like a few solid wins over top talent would be enough. (He beat Rey Mysterio twice and Cena once right before the pipebomb.) Then if the AI decides to book him badly, he leaves, if they don't, he stays.

Of course, if you're taking over WWE as the user, you're probably going to be booking him strong anyway, so the challenge would be met by default.

The challenge could be added to the intro screen to give people a heads up. I think it would be cool.
